Luz Noceda-Belos, a Princess in training and an all-powerful witch, title also in training, was currently bored out of her mind.

When learning to be a princess, she needs to know how to handle and deal with certain types of situations and people. For example, heads of High-class families. While none would conspire against them, she still needed to learn how to satisfy them without folding to their requests.

Let's take Amity Blight's mother, Odalia Blight.

"I've met Odalia a few times at few great Balls," Alexander mentioned to Luz, they were in the castle Library, "She is a woman who believes perfection over happiness. Wouldn't be surprised if that extended to her family." He explained before waving his finger and the chalkboard began writing for him. "Using her as an example, how would you address her, if you met her at a ball for example?"

Luz thought about it before smiling. "Heya! I'm Luz Noceda, Future Empress Supreme, fear my ultimate power!" She said with a bright smile, Camila laughed from her position behind them.

Alexander smiled and laughed lightly, wishing it were that simple. "No, dear, more like, "Lady Odalia, a pleasure to make your acquaintance this fine evening" and then she'd bow to you respectfully." He explained, the chalkboard writing it all down.

Luz pouted. "The bowing still feels weird."

"You're going to have to learn how to deal with it, in all honesty."

Luz groaned in annoyance and leaned back in her chair. It was then that her phone beeped. Luz gasped and pulled out her phone and checked the alarm, "Meet Eda at the Owl House" the alarm said to her. She laughed, standing up from her chair. "Sorry, dad, time to see my new mentor." She said with a laugh.

"Hm, alright, we can cut this lesson short, then." He said as he replaced his mask. "Before you go," Belos walked over to his daughter and snapped his fingers, making a small bag of gold snail coins appear in Luz's hand. "In case you have any need while with Edalyn, don't spend it all at once, it's yours for the rest of the month and finally..."

Belos held out his hand, and several gold coins floated from the coin bag and hovered above his hand. The coins then began to vibrate, turning orange before vibrating even faster and finally transitioning into a bright white. The gold coins melded together and combined into a ball before Belos squeezed the white-hot gold in his fist, his hand glowing red.

He then lowered his hand and showed Luz what he had created with his magic. It was a golden emblem, it was similar to the Emperor's Coven symbol he wore on his chest but different.

It was no longer a triangle but a circle, the prominent symbol was now of a witch holding a star in her left hand and a staff in her right. A pair of wings wrapping around the witch in a comforting manner as the sun was high above, casting rays of light onto the witch.

"It's... It's beautiful..." She said softly, inspecting it closely, reaching out to touch it but Belos pulled it back.

"Not yet, one more thing..." He pulled a black thread from his inner cloak and whipped it, turning it into a long ribbon. Using more unexplained magic, he combined the emblem and ribbon together to transform it into a medallion.

"This is the medallion I designed the minute I returned from the Isles, after finding out about your birth... I meant to give it to you sooner but we've been busy you could say." Belos said as he carefully wrapped the medallion around her neck.

"With this emblem wrapped around your neck, know that I will always protect you and love you with all my heart, my Little light..." Belos said, placing a hand on Luz's cheek affectionately.

Luz then caught him off guard, tackling him into a hug and squeezing him tightly.

"I love you too, Dad..." She said, muffled against him. Belos laughed and carefully wrapped his arms around Luz. This would appear what the humans call... A human bonding moment... Belos laughed at the term as Camila came over.

"You both are so adorable," Camila said, as she hugged the both of them, "Mija, you need to get going, you don't want to keep your new mentor waiting for her new student... Call me crazy, but I still don't think it's a good idea to send our daughter to some lady in the woods. Qué tipo de cuento de hadas alemán es este?" She asked.

"She'll/I'll be fine." Luz and Belos said at the same time. They looked at each and both laughed softly at the exchange.

Camila was almost brought to tears at the sight of her cold and threatening husband getting along so well with her bubbly and energetic daughter. It brought such a nice warmth to her heart like no other.

Belos was then seen ruffling her hair. "I also love your new haircut, by the way, Luz. Very fitting."

Luz smiled and ran her hand through her new haircut, after Eda's trial, Camila dragged Luz away to give her a new, fresh haircut that wasn't absolutely horrible. A pixie cut style that she enjoyed very much. Her mother was still very sad that she lost her long hair in the first place. Luz reassured her mother that it was ok. Camila did not care to listen.

"Thanks, I'll see you guys later!" She called out, swinging her messenger bag over her shoulders and running out of the castle library.

...

Belos then pulled out a watch, looking at it. "Would you look at the time... I must begin the day as Emperor and-"

Camila grabbed him by his collar, pulling him back roughly.

"A dónde vas, chico amante...?" She asked softly and in a slow tone.

Belos sweated underneath his mask.

"My love, you know I can't understand your... Spanish, was it?" He said.

"I said... Where. Are. You. Going, my love?" She asked again, even slower as she removed his mask, looking at his flustered demeanor at her advances, "14 years... And now after nearly two weeks, we're finally alone..." She whispered into his ear.

Belos remembered certain things from when he first met Camila, and one of the lasting memories was her demanding nature in bed and her insatiable "appetite".

"Let's think about this more clearly and-"

"I'm done thinking," She said, pulling him by his collar, to her height, "Now get moving..." She said, giving him a loving, drawn-out kiss on the lips before walking past him.

Belos placed a finger on his lips, before smiling deviously to himself, what a woman indeed...

"Yes ma'am..." He said before walking after her.

-In less scandalous affairs-

Luz took a flying carriage to the Owl House, loving the sights of flying above the townspeople of Bonesborough.

The "town" had to have been the size of at least 2 human cities combined. How was this only considered a town? It really helped put a perspective on how big the Titan truly was.

"And to think that dad rules over all of it with no problem, you'd think that each limb and body part would be its own country, honestly." She giggled at her own joke before sighing sadly and looking out the window of the carriage again. "I hope I can make friends here..." She said to no one in particular.

Soon enough, the flying carriage landed in front of the Owl House.

Hopping out, she waved the silent chauffeur goodbye. "Thank you, Reggy! See you later!" She called out, watching the carriage disappear over the treeline and into the clouds.

Luz then walked up to the door and took a deep breath. "Alright Luz, don't mess this up! Eda herself said you have a lot of promise to be a great witch! Don't screw this up!"

"Hoot! Hoot!" Hooty shouted suddenly. "Talking to yourself?!" He asked.

"AH! Oh, Hooty." She said, taking a breath. "Open the door."

"Password?"

"Hooty, I-"

"CORRECT!" He shouted as the door swung open inwards.

Luz looked on confused, just perplexed how Eda has survived this long with Hooty as her security system. "Thanks... I guess." She entered the Owl House, taking cautious steps and looking around at the candles, that weren't lit up. Looking at them, Luz formed an idea.

She pointed at a single candle on the floor and focused, putting as much focus into the idea as she could. "Now." She snapped her fingers and fingertip shot a fireball that melted the candle to hot wax and burned away the wick. Luz rushed over.

"Nonono!" She shouted, stomping the fire out with her shoe.

Soot got all over her white slip-on, she groaned as she stared at the candle she melted out of existence. "I don't think it should be that hard to light a candle with magic..." She said with a scoff.

"Oh come on, can't even light a simple candle without destroying it, how do you expect to do anything?" A familiar disembodied voice said to her. She looked around the room and her eyes landed on the hand mirror on the coffee table of the living room. She was hesitant to look into the mirror, ever since staring into the cursed one in her room, she's been seeing creepy her everywhere...

Luz slowly reached out, grabbing the hand mirror, and stared into it.

"Hello!" The Yellow-eyed Luz waved. "Nice to see you again!"

"Gah!" Luz dropped the mirror in shock, but it never hit the floor, as Eda's magic caught it.

"Jeez kid, should've told me you were here, why'd you drop the mirror?" Eda asked, looking at Luz and seeing that she looked shaken. "You alright, kid? Did looking at yourself scare you that bad? HA!" She said, laughing at her bad joke before sighing. "Ah, I'm good. Hey, you can't execute me right?" She asked, wanting to make sure.

Luz smacked her face lightly, trying to calm her quaking nerves.

"N- No, I don't think I can and I'm fine, just forget that I don't have long hair anymore." She made an excuse as she grabbed the mirror out of the air and looked at it, seeing her copy wave at her, before carefully placing it back down on the coffee table. "A- anyway, I'm here for my first magic lesson!" She said holding on to the strap of her bag tightly and smiling widely at Eda.

Eda looked down at her and gave her a soft smile, "Don't know how you can be so giddy and awake this early," Eda made her way to the kitchen as she spoke. "It must because you're a princess." She concluded. "I just can't wrap my head around the idea of Belos has a spawn of his own, just hard to believe."

Luz raised a brow and looked at her phone. "First off, It's noon-"

"And that's early for me, kid," Eda shrugged as she poured herself a cup of the darkest coffee Luz had probably ever seen. It looked as if she poured hot water into lightly crushed coffee beans.

"Second, I'm pretty sure I exist. I mean, I'm standing here, right?" Luz asked as she held the Medallion in her hands, squeezing it. "And I'm more than certain that he loves me."

"Alright, alright kid, I believe you, no need to defend it," She took a sip of her wet coffee grounds, "Ah, personality in a cup." She then looked at Luz. "Alright, show me what you got."

"Huh?" Luz asked, taken aback. "What do you mean?"

"Like I said yesterday, I know you got some serious magic hidden inside of you." She said, poking Luz's chest.

"But I don't know how to use any of it!" Luz said, "I can't even cast a light spell."

"Well, that's quite the mess, then... I thought you were just saying that to hide your true power." Eda said, stroking her chin, before jumping over the counter and standing in front of Luz. "Well, I guess we can start with the basics." She then drew a circle in the air. It stayed stagnant in the air.

"Us witch's channel the magic from these things called a "Bilesac", that's attached to our hearts. When your heart pumps blood, so does magic. Through every last drop of blood. That's why I can do something like this-"

Eda then used her foot to create a spell circle on the ground, that also stayed stagnant and in place.

"Some Bilesac's are big and give the user nearly unlimited magic to use while others are small and make the user's magic extremely refined to a certain level of spells. That's not the case for you and your Daddy," Eda explained, "Belos claims that the Titan chose him for a great mission and blessed him with Long Life and Powerful magic. Like none have seen before and blah blah, all that." Eda said before using her hands to expand the circle in front of Luz.

"Back to the lesson, basically, one way we can successfully control the magic in our hearts, sounds corny I know, is by drawing spell circles. The bigger the circle, the stronger the spell. You need to really concentrate on visualizing the spell you're trying to cast and complete the circle or else you'll lose full control easily or just not cast it. Then there's the off chance that the spell can backfire and kill us all." She then closed her eyes and focused. Suddenly, the spell circle turned into a small ball of light.

"Boom, and that's a basic light spell," Eda said crossing her arms and smiling. "You get all that, kid?" She asked the Princess in training, to which she nodded in understanding.

"Yup!" Luz then presented her journal to the Wild Witch, "Even took notes!" She said, opening it back up and writing a few extra things down.

Eda laughed, "That good kid, you try it now."

Luz nodded, determined, she put down her notebook and took a stance. She closed her eyes and focused, humming to herself as she concentrated on forming a light spell. Slowly, she began to draw a blood-red circle, just like Belos's magic. Reminded Eda of the Bard Coven.

The blood-red circle continued to be formed by Luz, it was very wobbly and not at all as straight as it should've been, like a kid attempting magic for the first time. Well... She was, at that didn't matter, she had completed the circle and...

Luz cracked her eyes open and saw the wobbly spell circle in front of her. "Did... It work..?" She asked.

Eda rose an eyebrow before stroking her. "Well, yes, but actually-" Suddenly the circle turned into a golden hue, forming a small ball and started to shine amazingly bright...

Luz stepped back, covering her eyes as she saw the ball of light growing in front of her. "Yes!" She shouted excitedly, jumping up and down as she had successfully performed her first spell. "I did it!" She shouted with a laugh.

"As happy as I am for you, kiddo, could you stop making it so darn bright!?" Eda said, covering her eyes as the small ball of light continued to grow in size and brightness. "Titan below, it's like staring directly into the sun!" Eda said as she reached out to touched the light, only to pull her hand away quickly, feeling a stinging. "Ah! Ow!" She said, sucking on her fingers. "Hurts like a star too..."

Luz felt the temperature start to dramatically rise inside the room as well. "I- I don't know, but maybe we should get it outside!" She said, escaping through the front door, ignoring hooty's comment on why it was so hot inside.

Eda summoned her staff, which crashed and broke several items before it landed in her hand. She drew a circle in the air and tapped it with the end of her staff, suddenly the ever-growing small sun was teleported outside.

Eda joined Luz outside as they watched the mini-sun continued to grow, it increased the heat of the immediate area and set two trees on fire. "Kid! You're going to set the Isles on fire if you don't stop the spell! Didn't even know you could something like that!" Eda said as she stepped back.

"I- I don't know how!" Luz said, staring at the light, which now had small flames licking its surface.

Eda sat on her staff. "Alright, I'ma fly around and see if I can throw it somewhere!" She quickly zoomed into the sky, leaving Luz to stare at her creation, obviously not directly but, to see that she made such a thing scared her beyond belief. "Oh no, oh no, oh no..." She whispered as the light grew in size again. It became dangerously close to her. She fell back and closed her eyes shut, shielding herself as the sun threatened to consume her.

"S- Stop!" She shouted, "Go away!" She said, leaning back against the Owl House. She stared definitely at the sun and narrowed her eyes, the brightness almost blinding her at this point. Her eyes flashed with a familiar golden aura, only briefly, as Luz shakingly stood up. "I said-"

Then, suddenly, she felt what felt like water drop onto her face. "Huh?" She then looked up and saw Eda, standing on her staff and holding over her head what looked like an entire lake, like Goku with a Spirit Bomb.

"HAHHHH!" Eda shouted, dropping her hands down towards the Mini-sun, the water came rushing down like a flood, dowsing the sun until it was no more than a very hot memory. Luz was drenched and dripped water everywhere. She laid on the scorched, wet grass, the water floating her over into the middle of the clearing.

Eda landed next to her. "You alright, Kid? No third-degree burns to be felt?"

Luz stared up at the sky and sighed. "No..." She then sat cross-legged, looking down as she began to draw in the dirt. "I'm supposed to be the Princess of the Isles, you know? People are going to expect me to be as powerful as my Dad and to be just a good of a ruler as he is, but I can't even make a light spell without making a literal sun instead!" She said before falling back and groaning loudly, "Maybe I should've stayed in the human world..."

"Well, listen, Princess-"

"My name is Luz," She corrected her.

"Luz..." She said, with an eye roll, "I wouldn't say your old man is a good ruler. I'd compare him more like a very decent dictator," Eda then sat next to Luz in the scorched wet grass.

"But listen, kid," She began, placing a comforting hand on Luz's shoulder, "This just proves to me that you are going to be one strong Witch in the future!" She said with a bright smile, poking Luz's chest. "All the magic you got in there is simply untamed and wild, just like me!" She said before standing up. "But that just means you need to keep practicing to control it! One day, you'll be even stronger than Belos! You just need practice, and I will provide it!" Eda then extended her hand to Luz. "Come on, hun, let's get you dried off."

Luz considered her words, remembering her own magic "idol" the Good Witch Azura. She wasn't powerful instantly, neither did she know how to control her powers and most certainly, neither was her Father when he started... Hopefully, anyway. That man could do anything. Luz wouldn't be surprised if she found out that he was a natural-born prodigy. Luz shook her head free from her thoughts before giving Eda a warm smile and taking her hand, getting to her feet.

"Thanks, Eda, I appreciate it..." She said, getting onto her own feet as she followed Eda back into the Owl House.

The door closed behind them.

"Well, that sure was a hoot!" Hooty shouted, laughing at his bad joke.
