Aki sat on the floor next to me, adjusting her duel disk, "Yusei? How are we going to get out of the helicopter? I don't think they are going to land."

Pushing myself to my feet, I walked over to where Justice was sitting, "Fair point, we'll probably have to jump. Come on, sit on the back of my runner and hang on for dear life."

She struggled to find a safe place to sit, and I finally ended up scooting so far forward that she could sit behind me on the seat. Not practical, but since neither of us had any extra baggage in the lower areas, it ended up working.

A robotic voice came through the speakers, "Luggage drop off in ten, nine, eight..."

I looked over my shoulder to Aki, "How did we guess?"

Aki chuckled just as the countdown finished, "Five, four, three, two, one, luggage drop initiated."

The hatch slowly opened, and I switched my runner into neutral so we could start rolling back. Her arms tightened around me the second we slid backwards. As my back wheel dropped off, I nearly had a heart attack, but focused my attention on how to land. Leaning forward, I braced myself for the inevitable impact.

We hit the ground, skidding to a stop in the middle of a dump yard. A shadow loomed over us, followed by a voice, "Nice landing Yusei, but you've got some explaining to do."

I looked up to make eye contact with a guy with carrot colored hair, "And who's going to make me talk, carrot top?"

He slid down the pile with a grace that he rarely showed, "You asked for it, pal."

Footsteps retreated behind me as Aki removed herself from the situation, while I walked towards him, swinging my arm forward.

I was impressed that we both still remembered the handshake from the Enforcer days. Crow started laughing after we finished, "Man, I was kind of worried that I forgot it. Congrats on totally creaming Jack and bringing him back down to earth with the rest of us mortals."

My laughter joined with his as I lost it completely, and struggled to talk through my laughs, "I have to admit, it felt great to beat him. He kept being cocky and saying that he would win because he is the King, so seeing his face just before the final attack was golden. Though I wish that he hadn't crashed, because now I feel like a jerk."

Aki cleared her throat behind me, "Yusei? Who is this?"

Crow spoke before I had a chance, holding out his hand, "I'm Jonathan Hogan, but everyone calls me Crow. I'm Yusei's cool brother. And from what the news said, your name is Izayoi Aki?"

She shook hands with him, nodding, "Yes. Yusei and I bonded over our strange talents."

"Strange talents?"

Aki rubbed her arms, taking a deep breath, "I make my cards come to life every time that I summon them."

His eyes lit up, "That is like what Yusei can do. Just she makes emotions come to life. Hey, Yusei, remember when…"

I glared at him, "We don't talk about that, ever."

Poor Aki looked between us both, "Didn't you want to check on your friends, Yusei?"

Refocusing, I nodded, "Right. They were kidnapped to make me duel in the tournament, and I sent a city guy back to keep them safe. But I haven't heard from Blister since he told me that they really were missing."

Crow hopped on his runner, "Then let's go to your hideout."

Aki carefully climbed back onto my runner and we started to follow Crow to my area of Satellite, "Crow, where is everybody?"

"There's this weird group of people coming around and collecting people deep in the Satellite. It is making Satellite even weirder than normal."

"Really? How long has this been going on?"

He shrugged as he scanned the streets, "It was going on before I got released."

I sighed so loud that I was pretty sure that Crow could hear me through the comms, "Jonothan Hogan, did you get arrested AGAIN? If you get arrested one more time, they are not going to have any space on your face for another mark!"

"Yeah, got arrested for possession of duel cards. I was trying to take them back to the kids. Just got out two days ago."

Finally I pulled up to the subway entrance, and we drove down, shooting towards my little piece of heaven that I called home.

As we got close, I saw movement at the edge of the platform, and I recognized it as Blister and Rally leaning over, peering down to see what was making the sound of our runners.

Voices erupted from the platform:

"Hey! It's Yusei!"

"No way!"

"Yusei's back?"

By the time we pulled to a stop, all of my friends were gathered, smiling down at me. I swung off my runner, and nearly got knocked over as I was hit by the missile called Rally, "You wouldn't believe all of the crazy stuff that has happened to us the past few days."

I crouched, looking her directly in the eye, "I'm sorry, it's all because of me being in the city."

Crow's voice directly next to me caused me to jump, "Glad to see everybody happy and healthy."

Everyone's attention snapped over to Crow, and Blitz spoke up, "Crow, when did you get here?"

"You guys should know by now that every time Yusei gets in trouble I show up to congratulate her."

A snicker slipped out of my mouth just as a metallic clatter caught my attention. A can of teargas started to empty out a few feet away as an amplified voice echoed down, "AWX74098, turn yourself in for breaking into Sector Security Headquarters!"

Covering up my mouth with my shirt, I shot a dirty look to Crow, "Really Bird-Brain?"

He hopped back onto his runner, "Meet me at the Bridge in an hour, that's where my hangout is."

Crow quickly vanished from view on his runner, leaving the rest of us with the smoke. My friends rushed away from it, except for Aki who was copying me. I turned to her, "Stay near them, okay? I'm going to help my brother."

She nodded, rushing after them as I got on my runner and drove after him. It was so freeing to shoot through the streets of Satellite again, though it was a little hard to find Crow for a minute.

Finally, I found him trying to outrun a pursuit bot, and pulled up next to him. He glanced over, and his brow furrowed, "What do you think you are doing, Yusei?"

I smiled at him, "Babysitting you."

He snorted, "Fine, if you duel then I'm guaranteed to win."

"Speed World, set."

My runner switched into duel mode at the same time as Crow's did, and a voice came from the duel bot, "I summon Gate Blocker in defense mode, and then release it to summon Gate Blocker 2 in defense mode."

Gate Blocker 2-3000

"I then place three facedowns, and end my turn."

Crow looked over to me, and I gave him a signal that we used to use. His face erupted into a smile, "My turn!"

The disembodied voice interrupted, "Wait one moment Satellite! I activate Full Throttle, which gives us one extra speed counter per turn. Then I activate Speed Edge, which takes the difference in our counters each turn, multiplies that by 300 and gives you damage equal to that."

Life Points Crow/Yusei=3400

"Oh, no~," I muttered under my breath, rolling my eyes to Crow.

"Tell me about it, I summon Blackwing Bora the Spear in attack mode."

Bora the Spear-1700

I watched one of my favorite Blackwings exploded out into existence, "Then I special summon Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind, due to his special ability, which lets me summon him if I have another Blackwing out."

Gale the Whirlwind-1300

Nostalgia filled me as Crow kept going, "Gale has another special ability, which lets him cut the defense points of a monster for a turn."

Gate Blocker 2-1500

One of the Securities' laughter came through the bot, "That won't work for long. I activate Defender's Mind, which doubles the defense points of all of my monsters and switches them to defense mode."

Gate Blocker 2-3000

"Well, I guess that I'll tune my monsters together instead and synchro summon Blackwing Armor Master in attack mode and end my turn!"

Blackwing Armor Master-2500

Crow yelled out, pointing forward, "Now attack Gate Defender!"

One of the Securities laughed, "You'll only take damage from that!"

A smile spread over Crow's face, and he shook his head, "Once per turn Armor Master doesn't get destroyed and I don't take damage if I declare an attack. But I end my turn now."

More laughter came from the chase bot, "Since you ended your turn, your monster effect ends and Gate Blocker's defense points grow to twice their original."

Gate Blocker 2-6000

Security Officer number 2 spoke, his voice much deeper than the first, "It's my turn now, and due to Full Throttle the difference in our speed counters is six, which means that you are going to take 1200 points of damage."

Life Points Crow/Yusei=2200

It was starting to be really boring, dueling both of these guys, since they were so predictable, "I summon Gate Defender in defense mode and end my turn."

Gate Defender-2000

Winking at Crow, I smirked, "Ready?"

He nodded, and the Security that had just taken a turn spoke, "Before you do anything, you take damage from Speed Edge."

Life Points Yusei/Crow=400

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. "It my turn, and I summon Turbo Synchron in attack mode."

Turbo Synchron-600

Crow spoke up, "I activate the spell Power Returner, which drops Armor Master's level by one."

Deep voice Security Officer's voice came through, "Why would you do something so stupid?"

I rolled my eyes, "So we can Synchro summon Turbo Warrior in attack mode."

Turbo Warrior-2500

A giddy Crow added, "Then we use the spell Ebon Arrow, which drops Turbo Warrior's attack points by 500 points, but if he attacks a monster in defense mode, this card will deal piercing damage."

Turbo Warrior-2000

Security Officer 1 protested, "But there's no way he can stand up to Gate Blocker."

My face was hurting from how big my smile was, "You might want to check that again."

Gate Blocker 2-0

Despite the terrible audio, you could clearly hear at least one of them gasp, "Wha..what happened to all of his defense points?"

Crow was laughing like a maniac, "My Armor Master put a wedge token in your monster, which drops his points to 0 next time a monster declares an attack on it."

I pointed at the stupid Gate Blocker, "Now Turbo Warrior, you know what to do!"

Life Points Officers=2000

Ebon Arrow came to life, and pointed it's crossbow at the duel bot, "Then Ebon Arrow's effect comes into play, and you receive piercing damage."

Life Points Officers=0 Defeat!

We reached out and gave each other knuckles as the duel bot crashed to the ground, "That was some pretty good teamwork, right Crow?"

He nodded, "Yeah, but I've been meaning to ask you. Did you hear what happened to Jack?"

"I heard that the truth got out, but I've been pretty busy."

"He went off the grid after the news was broadcasted."

I rolled my eyes, "And he has the nerve to call me a drama queen. Good grief."
