Hey everyone! I just wanted to explain why this chapter is going to be strangely written. For this duel, Yusei is yards/metres away from the duel, only able to hear what is being yelled. When duels happen, the audience can see when life points are regained, so essentially, all Yusei can tell about the duels is a) what she can hear being yelled, b) when life points are dropped or raised, and c) what cards she can recognize. I debated for days on whether to write it the traditional way, but I kept coming back to this. Sorry if it's confusing.

I was returned to the world of the living by Jack shaking me. Around us, everyone else was getting ready for a long day of dueling, brushing hair, eating some food that had been left out for us, and gathering their decks and duel disks.

Rolling off the couch, I searched for my cast off gloves, jacket, and boots. Leo popped up next to me, "You really look like a girl without your jacket."

As the words hit my ear, my throat loosened. Coughing, I sent him a smile as I croaked out the words, "Thanks, I think."

Luna ran over, "Your voice is back!"

Nodding, I gathered my things, putting everything back on, "It itches, but I'll be fine in a few."

We all headed outside together, where each of us got into or onto our respective vehicles. Jack and I on our runners, Aki into a car driven by Mina, and the twins into a car that Trudge was going to drive. Aki looked over to me, "Good luck, Yusei!"

I pulled up next to her car, looking her in the eyes, "Remember, the Dark Signers are part crazy, and part detective. They will find any facts that make it seem like we are the bad guys. Got it?"

Jack glanced over at us, "Are you going to give an inspirational speech now that you got your voice back?"

A mischievous smile spread across my face, "I wasn't planning on one, but if you insist. As long as we have our bonds with each other, nothing can stop us from winning this war. Sure, we all know that we have our own issues, but together we can save our homes."

Everyone laughed as Jack gave me the most disappointed look that I had ever seen. Revving my engine, I popped my neck and drove towards Kiryu's tower.

I was driving when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Pulling to a stop, I looked over and saw a pillar of light shooting up on my left, Crap! What's going on over there?

Spinning around, I shot towards the tower of the monkey like a bullet, hoping against all odds that both of the twins were safe.

The path there wasn't as easy as I thought, filled with so many crevasses and piles of cement that were not in the normal part of Satellite.

As I struggled to drive through the unfamiliar territory, however, the mark of the monkey appeared in the sky.

My eyes snapped down to look at my arm, surprised to not see any glowing, which meant... "Luna's not the one dueling."

Carefully, I pulled to a stop next to Trudge's car, rushing over to him, "What happened, where's Luna?"

His hair was a disaster, and he was wringing his hands, "There was this light that came out of nowhere, and then Luna was gone."

"She must have gone to the spirit world, but this is the first time her body has gone with her," I mused as I walked forward to see Leo.

Thankfully, he was doing a really good job at dueling for once. It was like he was a different person than who dueled me in the city.

We both watched helplessly as Leo had to fight a monster that could steal one of his per turn. We watched him try to defeat that monster, and he would get so close before Demak would crush his hope. Then-

"I Synchro-summon Power Tool Dragon! Take out that Magic Ape!"

Trudge sighed in relief at the same time I did, watching that monster disappear. Leo jumped up and down, but what I was most proud of was how he was adapting to his opponent, just like I had told him back in the city.

To our horror, Demak Dark Synchro-Summoned a monster called Zeman the Ape King.

We both watched helplessly as Leo dueled for his and Luna's lives. But what was surprising was how Power Tool took every attack to protect Leo.

Every inch of me wanted to go down and protect him, but I knew that this was his battle. He felt like he had to do this to protect his sister.

Then the field spell came out, and I felt like my breath had left me, "He has everything he needs to summon an Earthbound Immortal."

Trudge was too involved in the duel to hear what I said, and in fact, cheered when Leo destroyed the Dark Synchro.

I froze as Demak started laughing, "I summon Earthbound Immortal Cusillu by sacrificing the spirits of the Spirit World!"

The earth started to shake violently as a long skinny arm erupted from the ground. Slowly, the rest of the monkey pulled itself out with a deafening scream. A red bubble appeared around myself and Trudge, protecting us from the Earthbound Immortal.

Demak yelled at the top of his lungs, "Attack Leo directly, my Earthbound Immortal!"

Leo sent his equip spell to the graveyard in order to raise his life points enough to survive, then started running to minimize the damage.

A wave of rubble shot towards him, knocking him off his feet. I clenched my fists, fighting the urge to run to his side as he struggled to try and get free.

Before he could, a ball of pure white light descended from the sky, slowly dissolving to reveal Luna. She crouched next to her brother, gently removing his duel disk while talking to him. Luna then put the duel disk on herself while continuing the conversation.

Trudge leaned over, "Do you know what they are saying?"

"Not for sure, but if I had to assume anything, Luna is probably checking on her brother while asking about the duel. I heard from Jack that she used to be a top tier prodigy before she suddenly stopped. She's got this."

Luna stood up, adjusting the duel disk on her arm, "I'll destroy you for hurting my brother and the spirits!"

Demak started to bellow with laughter, and then laid down a card, "I summon Ancient Fairy Dragon!"

He immediately put the poor dragon into a cage, and I could feel Luna's anger over 10 yards away. She took her first turn, which on the surface didn't seem to do much, but I had seen her duel before. Even under a trance she managed to completely ruin a duelist who was three times her age.

In short, I had complete faith in her.

As the duel continued to move forward, I slowly could start feeling Demak growing more and more confident. That was until she nearly destroyed his Earthbound Immortal, and he made a major mistake by sending Ancient Fairy Dragon to the graveyard to protect his monster.

In the blink of an eye, Ancient Fairy Dragon was on Luna's side of the field, and Luna exploded into action. Using her dragon's special ability, she destroyed the field spell to give herself more life points. Then she used equipment spells on both Power Tool Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon. I hadn't seen either spell before, and without my runner going, I couldn't watch the stats, so I was unsure of what each one was.

Power Tool Dragon shot towards the Earthbound Immortal, ripping a hole right through the center of it. Ancient Fairy Dragon started to glow, and she spread her wings wide, letting out a loud roar.

Holy crap. No wonder people called her a prodigy. She's so good at this.

Ancient Fairy Dragon flew up into the air, sending down a beam of light from her wings, which shattered the Earthbound Immortal. The lines of fire started to die down, and I slid down to get to the twin's sides.

Heavy footsteps approached the twins, and Demak emerged from the smoke with one hand outstretched. Everything about him was rapidly turning black as he slurred, "I will take you two with me to the Netherworld!"

My speed increased, and I pulled the twins away from him as he fell to the ground, turning to dust. I let them go, inching closer to the dust to nudge it with my boot, Do I have to do that to Kiryu?

Before I could turn to check on the twins, Ancient Fairy Dragon faintly appeared in the air in front of us, with a white lion covered in armor next to her. She turned her head towards us, and a voice echoed through my head, "Thank you Luna, for saving our world."

A thud came from besides me, and I glanced down to see Trudge unconscious on the ground.

Luna grabbed Leo's hand as well as mine, "Leo held off Demak, making it easy for us to free you, and Yusei protected both of us."

She nodded to both of us, "Then I thank you both as well. Especially you, Yusei. You remind me of your father. He took great care of our cards while we were in his care."

That comment caught me off guard, "Thank you. Will you keep helping us, now that your home is safe?"

The dragon bowed her head, "As long as Luna or her friends are in danger, the spirits will always fight."

Both spirits turned to cards, flying into Luna's hand. She turned to me, "How do we lock the tower again?"

Walking forwards, I examined a small pedestal next to the door, "I think that this is the button to open it."

Pushing it, the doors slowly groaned open, revealing another pedestal. We moved towards it, noticing a rectangular indent directly in the center, "I'm assuming from the knowledge we have that you put her card there, and then we probably will need to make a quick exit. Don't fully let go of her, okay?"

She nodded, gently putting her friend in the center. The pedestal lit up, and the three of us booked it out of the tower. We didn't stop until we got to the prone body of Trudge.

As we watched it sink into the ground, I muttered, "My life is so full of coincidences it could easily be a form of entertainment. Maybe a Manga."

The two of them laughed, Luna smiling as she shrugged, "People like supernatural mangas."

Trudge shifted, sitting up while blinking his eyes rapidly, "Where'd the tower go?"

Removing all emotion from my face, I looked him directly in the eyes, "What tower?"

He flopped back down to the ground, "I'm going insane, first talking dragons and now disappearing towers."

Luna and Leo started giggling as I yanked Trudge to his feet, "I'm next. Let's go to the mark of the giant."
