Our heroes have hit the sea because they're heading for the Ultimate Talent Star on Sunline Island. As you can imagine, Orihime was excited for it to begin.
"There it is!" Rukia said. They all stood out at the front of the boat that was taking them to the island. They could see Sunline Island and could even see the stadium up ahead.
"It's almost time!" Orihime said as she was filled with much joy and excitement. "It's just ahead!"
"We know you're going to do great, Orihime." Ichigo said. "We know you're going to win it this time." All of her friends gave her support. Orihime appreciated that they believed in her so much. All she needed to do was prove them right.
"Diancie, you'll cheer too, right? It will end up being a great show." Orihime said.
"Dia!" Diancie sounded excited itself to see it. With the Ultimate Talent Star just ahead, the fun will soon begin.
Each and next chapter, the ultimate goal
Ready for battle, brave and bold
I know we're gonna make it
We will find a way
Oh-oh
We've come so far
We fought so hard to get where we are
Oh-oh
We belong together
It's always you and me
Pokemon
(Orihime's voice): The Performing Dream
They all soon docked on the island. When they got there, they saw many trainers and their pokemon working on their moves for their performances. Orihime could see she has a lot competition, but she won't let it discourage her. She knows she's ready for this. Orihime went straight to registration. She showed Nurse Joy the medals she won and was now eligible to enter.
"There you go, Orihime. You're all set." Nurse Joy said. "You're also free to leave your pokemon here and I'll make sure they're fit for when the big competition comes. We have everything they need to be in top shape."
"Thank you so much." Orihime said. Once she was registered, she went over to her friends.
"Are you ready for this, Orihime?" Chad said.
"I am." Orihime said. "I can feel it. This is the time I'm going to win Ultimate Talent Star and become Ultimate Show-woman."
"That's what we like to hear, Orihime." Ichigo said as he likes the attitude Orihime has.
"Diancie, I really do hope you enjoy it. There's going to be lots of exciting battles and incredible performances." Orihime said as she was hoping for Diancie to enjoy the show. Diancie seemed excited for it to happen.
"Try as you might. I'll be the one that wins in the end." Orihime and the others turned around and were met with Rena and her Ninetales.
"Rena!" Orihime said as she was excited to see her.
"Hey, Orihime. I'm glad you made it." Rena said. "I hate to burst your bubble, but don't even think about winning this big event. I'm the one that's winning this."
"With that childish attitude, I think not. It will be someone who has a little more class, like I." They all saw another rival of Orihime's arriving for the competition.
"Silvia!" Orihime said as she was glad to see her again.
"Hello, Orihime. It's great to see you again." Silvia said.
"Hey! What were you saying about me earlier?!" Rena said as she took some offense to what Silvia said about her.
"Nothing. Orihime, I must say that it is great to see you. In fact, it's great to see the both of you again." Silvia said.
"It's great to see you again." Orihime said. "I'm so glad you both were able to make it. This will make it a lot more fun." All three of them were glad to see each other. Soon. Rena spotted Orihime's friends and spotted Diancie.
"No way!" Rena said as she couldn't believe what was right in front of her. "Is that an actual Diancie?!" Silvia soon saw the pokemon herself and they were both amazed that there was one right before their eyes.
"I don't believe it! It's amazing!" Silvia said.
"Orihime, don't tell me you actually caught a rare pokemon like this!" Rena said.
"No. Diancie isn't mine." Orihime said.
"Diancie is still considered a wild pokemon. It's just been traveling with us for a while." Rukia said.
"That's a bit of a relief. You would have been one tough girl to beat if you had a pokemon like this, Orihime." Rena said. Diancie was getting a little bashful with all the praise, but they were all having a great time together. At that moment, Orihime looked outside and soon spotted Riruka was outside.
"Riruka?" Orihime said. Orihime was happy to see her again. She ran out and went to see Riruka for herself. She hurried after her and soon caught up with her. "Riruka, over here!" She called and managed to get her attention.
"Hey, Orihime. You made it." Riruka said.
"Yeah. I'm glad to see you here. I knew you would make it." Orihime said.
"Of course, but don't get any bright ideas of winning." Riruka said as she was acting confident. "There's only one person that's going to end up winning this and that's going to be me."
"We'll see about that, but I do want us both to do our bests." Orihime said.
"Orihime, there you are." Ichigo said as he and the others were able to catch up with her. "Riruka! Glad to see you made it too."
"As I just got done telling Orihime, of course I did. It is rather nice to see you guys again." Riruka said. Then, she pulled Orihime closer to her to whisper something to her. "If you hadn't made your move, you better do it soon. You don't want to lose this competition AND your man, do you?" Orihime knew what Riruka was talking about. She looked back at Ichigo with her blushing.
"Riruka, please!" Orihime said as she was getting all embarrassed.
"Later." Riruka said as she started to walk off.
"What was that about?" Chad questioned.
"I don't know, but you better not worry about it now, Orihime." Ichigo said. "We still got about a day before the competition begins. You better use the time to get yourself ready." Orihime pulled herself together and pushed the embarrassment aside.
"Right." Orihime said. Her biggest challenge will soon be upon her. She needs to be ready.
...
The Docks
Meanwhile, a small boat was being pulled up to the island. On that boat was Nicholas himself. Now that the big event is almost upon all the showman and show-woman, he wasn't going to miss it himself. Once the boat docked, he made his way down with many people trying to speak to him.
"Save the energy for the big event. We're all here for this, not me." Nicholas said as he tried to make his way through the people. "Now, I'll soon see if there's any true talent or potential here." Nicholas is looking for something in these performances. Perhaps he'll find what he's looking for here.
...
Orihime
Orihime found an open space for her to do some training. She let out all of her pokemon with all of them getting ready for what's to come.
"This is it, everyone. The moment we've all been waiting for is almost here." Orihime said. "Let's give it our best shot and win it!" All of them cheered as they felt the same way she did.
"Come on, guys!" Ichigo said. Orihime looked to the side and saw Ichigo was doing some training of his own with his pokemon. "After Orihime's competition, we've got the Kalos League coming up. We need to be ready ourselves." Ichigo's pokemon were pumped themselves with all of them doing some training of their own. Orihime is constantly impressed with what Ichigo does.
'Ichigo is so amazing.' Orihime thought. 'He keeps pushing on ahead. He always believes in himself and his pokemon. I know if I do the same, I can win this.' "Let's do it, guys! Roserade, let's start out with your Weather Ball!"
"Roserade!" Roserade launched the attack and launched it to the side, but Nicholas was actually in that direction. The attack landed in front of him and nearly hit him. Orihime saw what happened and felt so bad.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you!" Orihime said as she rushed over to him with the apology. When she got a look at him, she recognized him. "Wait a minute. You're Nicholas."
"And you're Orihime." Nicholas said. "I'm glad to see that you made it, but we'll soon see if you really have what it takes."
"Excuse me?" Orihime said.
"You are aware you're about to compete in the biggest competition for showmen and show-women like yourself." Nicholas said. "It's going to be a fierce and strong event. Everyone will be aiming to win this. You're going to need to step it up, more than what you've given before if you wish to win."
"I know..." Orihime said as she thought she did know that.
"I certainly hope so." Nicholas said as he kept walking. "I'm looking forward to see what you can do." When he said that, it made Orihime feel a bit nostalgic. A legend like him seems to be cheering for her. He did bring up some good points. Everyone that is competing is aiming to win. It's going to be a tough competition. If she really wants to win it, she has to go beyond her limits. As she thought back to the very beginning of her journey, she can see how far she's come from back then. She started out as someone who didn't have the courage to set out a journey on her own. When she did, she soon found her way to what she's passionate about. She loves performing for others and wants to be one of the best performers around. That dream is just ahead.
"Orihime, are you okay?" Ichigo said. Orihime looked back and saw she also made it this far because of her friends. All that she's worked for is so close.
"I'm good." Orihime said. "My dream is so close. I can feel it. Meowstic, Swanna, Roserade, Azumarill, Solrock, and Sylveon... Let's win this!" All her pokemon cheered. Orihime can just feel that she is going to win here.
Orihime is pretty excited for the Ultimate Talent Star to begin. It's almost here and upon us. Feeling confident that she can win, Orihime is ready for whatever is to come. You don't want to miss any that happens. Stay tune and find out.
