The time has finally come. The Ultimate Talent Star is here. Many who have earned four star medals are here to compete and win it all. Orihime is one, but she has competition with Rena, Silvia, and Riruka. Only one will be able to win it all in the end, but they'll have to get past the first round and put on a great performance if they wish to do that. We'll see if Orihime is making it or if she actually couldn't make the cut.
Each and next chapter, the ultimate goal

(Orihime's voice): For the Dream
The competition was about to begin. The time has come for all those competing to show what they can really do. Seats were being filled and it was being broadcast around the region. It was starting...
"Greetings one and all!" Baron announced as he was lowered down on a wire. Spotlights were shining down on him. "We're all here to see who has what it takes to be the ultimate showman or show-woman. It's the Ultimate Talent Star!" As soon as he landed down, lights shined on with confetti explosions go off. Everyone was cheering as they were excited that it was starting.
"Have a look around, Diancie. This is what Orihime has been waiting for." Rukia said. Diancie appeared to love the place already and can't wait to see more.
"Hey! It's you guys!" All of them looked to the side and was met with a familiar face.
"Ivan?!" Rukia said. "It's been a long time."
"Oh yeah! Ivan! From Jacklot City! You're friends with Rena and Silvia." Ichigo said as Ivan sat with them. "We didn't think we would see you here."
"Rena and Silvia called me and told me they both made it. I had to come down and see this for myself." Ivan said. "I take it since you guys are here that Orihime is here to compete as well."
"She sure is." Chad said.
"You can just tell that it's going to be a lot of fun." Ichigo said.
"We are also having a special appearance. Welcome a legend to us performers here: Nicholas!" Baron showed that Nicholas was in the area as well. Nicholas waved to the people as he showed he as glad to be here with everyone happy to see him. "We are honored that he is here, but this should be about those who are competing. That's why we're going to start with the first round. The first round is where all our lovely competitors show off the best qualities of their pokemon, putting on the best performance they can that really shows off their pokemon! Instead of using one like in the regular competitions, they can use multiple. They'll also get a score out of a hundred. The higher the score, the better your chances of advancing. Are you all ready to get started?! I'm sure you are!" Everyone was excited for it all to begin.

The Waiting Room
Orihime and the girls were all waiting for their chance to come. They all dressed into their outfits and couldn't wait until it was their turn to perform.
"Nervous, Orihime?" Riruka asked as she stood with Orihime.
"Not at all. This isn't the first time I've competed." Orihime said. "I know it's not going to be easy, but as long as I stay calm and believe in my pokemon, there's no way I'm going to lose. I'm at least not going down without a fight."
"Is that so? Well, I guess I would hate to burst your bubble, but I'm the one that's going to win in the end." Riruka said.
"Don't be so sure." Rena said as she came over. "I'm the one that's going to win in the end."
"Unless the victor happened to be me. No offense, but I'm the only one that appears to have any class here." Silvia said.
"What the heck does class have to do with winning here? It's the pokemon that are the main attraction." Rena said.
"Boast away all you want, but you're going to miss it when I win." Riruka said.
"Hey! You were boasting too!" Rena said with annoyance.
"But I can support it. Just watch." Riruka said as she flipped her hair and went out to take her turn.
"This is certainly going to be interesting." Orihime said as she was actually getting nervous about the tension that could possibly be building.
...
The Stage
Many have gone on competing to show off the best of their pokemon and tried to get the highest scores.
"Now, here comes Riruka!" Baron said as he announced Riruka's turn. Riruka ran out on the field and had two pokemon ready to go. Ichigo and the others were interested to see what she was going to do.
"Gastly and Koffing, let's go!" Riruka said as she unleashed her two pokemon.
"Gastly!"
"Koffing!"
"Let's really make them feel it!" Riruka said. "Koffing, Smokescreen! Gastly, Psychic!" Koffing started out by releasing a cloud of smoke. When it was released, Gastly used psychic powers on the cloud. Gastly shifted the smoke around and was forming it around itself. Gastly took the smoke and made a giant figure of itself. It was quite ominous and spooky.
"Not bad. That's quite the way to show off the qualities of a ghost-type." Rukia said.
"By making it look weird and possibly scary? I guess." Ichigo said.
"Now for the fun magic trick!" Riruka said. When she said that, Gastly reemerged from the smoke "Koffing, inhale!" Koffing took in a deep breath. It inhaled by taking a deep breath through the mouth. When Koffing did that, Gastly was pulled inside and actually went inside. Everyone couldn't believe that Koffing appeared to swallow Gastly. "Now!" Koffing unleashed a different cloud from its body and it was forming Gastly.
"Gastly!" That was actually a neat thing to see as people cheered for it.
"That is certainly a great way to show the unique body of Koffing with the ghost-like qualities of a Gastly." Baron said. "Let's see what the judges think." All of them looked to the screen to see what Riruka would get. The score dialed up and it appeared to be a high score. "Riruka gets a score of 98!"
"She got a 98?!" Ichigo said.
"It was an ingenious way to show off both those pokemon." Rukia said. "Who would have came up with something like that?" Riruka is a lot better than she appears. She'll be a tough one to beat. Many others went on with their performances. It was soon time for Rena to take her turn.
"Pansear, Panpour, and Pansage, turn up the heat!" Rena said as she was using three pokemon.
Pansear/sage/pour!"
"Rena's performing with Pansear, Panpour, and Pansage. This should be interesting." Baron said.
"Helping Hand, all three of you!" Rena said. The three of them had their hands glowed and started dancing around. They joined hands and started dancing together in a circle. "Pansage, Solar Beam! Panpour, Water Gun! Pansear, Flamethrower!" The three of them used their attacks and created a spiraling column. It was incredible because the Helping Hand added some shine to the attack. Everyone cheered and clapped for that.
"Very impressive. It showed great teamwork that the three of these pokemon shared as well as their similarities and differences." Baron said. "Judges?" They all looked up at her score and dialed it to be...90.
"90? I was expecting more, but I guess that's just as good." Rena said. A little frustrated, but she dealt with it.
"Rena's pretty good too." Chad said.
"You better believe it." Ivan said as he was quite happy for his friend. His other friend was doing just as good. Silvia soon had her turn and it was just as amazing as the other two.
"Sing, my beautiful Altaria." Silvia said. Her Altaria flew through the air and sung a beautiful melody. Aiding that beautiful sound was a Sunflora as it was using Grass Whistle. "Keep it up, Sunflora. You're doing quite well."
"Such lovely music. It's like a concerto." Baron said as all of them loved the music. "Let's see what the judges think." They all looked and saw that Silvia got a score of...95. "That is impressive score right there." Silvia got a pretty high score too.
...
Orihime
Orihime saw all three of them compete. She could see that all three of them are incredible and have earned their place in this competition.
"They're good, but I won't be scared off." Orihime said as she was ready for this.
"Orihime Inoue, you're up next."
"Coming!" Orihime said as she ran out for her time to shine.
...
The Main Stage
"Next, we have this lovely lady come all the way from Unova! Here's Orihime!" Baron announced with Orihime running out and her friends cheering for her all the way.
"Roserade, Swanna, and Meowstic!" Orihime called as she let out her three pokemon. All three of her pokemon came out with all three of them excited. "Let's go!" She called as music began to play. All three of them started dancing with Orihime joining them in. They all looked great out there. Roserade and Swanna looked graceful with Orihime and Meowstic looking happy and energetic. Above all, they looked in-sync and great together. "Big finish!" Swanna flew straight down. Swanna pulled up with Roserade and Meowstic flipping over Swanna and landing on their hands. Orihime joined in. She jumped and grabbed a hold of Swanna by the legs. Swanna carried Orihime up a few feet. Orihime let go and dropped down and planned to land on her hand as well.
"Go, Orihime!" Her friends cheered. Orihime landed on her hand, but it ended up being a hard land. Orihime hurt her wrist and was loosing her balance. Meowstic acted fast and used psychic powers to make it look like part of the show. She flipped Orihime in the air and caused her to slide on her legs with her holding her arms out. A lot of people thought it was part of the performance and cheered for her.
"Thanks, Meowstic." Orihime whispered.
"That was nicely done. Judges?" Baron said. They all looked and Orihime's score dialed to be...88.
"That's it? She only gets 88?" Ichigo said.
"I guess she lost points for that last move. I don't think that was planned." Rukia said. "Still, it's a good score. She might be able to make it to the second round." They all really hoped she would. As for her little slip, it didn't go unnoticed by someone else. Nicholas noticed it as well.
...
Orihime
Orihime and her pokemon were walking back to the waiting room, but she was holding her arm. She sat down on a bench as it was really starting to hurt. Still, she endured the pain. All of her pokemon were concerned about her.
"Don't worry. I'll be okay." Orihime said as she tried putting on a brave face. She did looked down the hall and saw Nicholas was approaching her.
"Let me see it." Nicholas said as he held out his hand. Orihime was a little confused. "Your hand. I know you hurt it." Orihime felt caught now. She gave him her hand and saw it was all red around the wrist. He looked it over to try and get a good look.
"Please tell me I'm not being pulled out." Orihime said.
"Well..." Nicholas said as he wasn't sure what to tell her. "What if I do tell you that?"
"Please, no!" Orihime pleaded. Nicholas was interested to hear what she had to say. "I came so far for all of this. I can't let it all just be taken away. I don't care how much pain I'm in! My pokemon and I came too far for it end like that! It's all for my dream!" Nicholas could see her fierce determination. He was like that himself when he was younger.
"It doesn't look too bad. Just take it easy. Let's have a doctor take a look at it to help with that." Nicholas said with Orihime glad to hear she's not being pulled out.
...
Later
Ichigo and the others made their way to the back. They wanted to talk to Orihime about her performance and say how great she was. When they got back there, they saw Orihime being treated by a doctor.
"Orihime!" Ichigo said as they all got concerned.
"So you DID hurt your hand." Rukia said.
"Don't worry. I'll be okay." Orihime said as she held her bandaged hand. "I'm not giving up that easily." They were all glad she was going to be okay and glad that she's still going to keep fighting.
"Okay! It's time to see who is moving on to the second round! These are the thirty-two competitors that advance!" Baron announced. They all looked to the screen to see who is advancing. Riruka, Rena, and Silvia all made it. Orihime's injury might not matter if she doesn't make it. She was getting nervous until she saw that she DID make it.
"I'm in!" Orihime said.
"We knew you would make it!" Ichigo said.
"You earned it." Chad said.
"The battle is just starting. We know you'll do great." Rukia said. Orihime thinks so too. It really is pain and game with her.
Orihime might have injured herself, but she's making it to the next round. She might have some strong competition, but she's not backing down. We'll see who will make it through and end up winning it all. Stay tune to find out.
