(Orihime's voice): A Love's Quarrel

Now that the first round is over and done, those who are still competing are getting themselves ready for the battles that are to come. Orihime and the other girls were getting themselves ready, as well as getting their pokemon ready, for the next round.

"Hey!" Ichigo said as he, Diancie, and Absol came in the back.

"Hi, Ichigo. What are you doing here?" Orihime said.

"I'm showing this guy the way to go. He wanted to see his friends before they head back out there." Ichigo said. He moved out of the way and allowed Ivan to come inside.

"How's it going?!" Ivan greeted.

"Ivan!" Silvia said as she was glad to see him. "I'm so glad you could make it. Did you come all this way just to see me compete?"

"He didn't come for you. He came for me." Rena said as she tried keeping Silvia away from him.

"Calm down, both of you." Ivan said. "I came to see the both of you compete. I really wish you both could win, but I do know you're both going to do great out there. I can't wait to see the two of you in action." Both of them were feeling a little flattered with all his praise.

"Thank you, Ivan. I just know that I'm going to win knowing I have your support." Silvia said.

"Oh please. I'm the one that's going to win." Rena said. "Ivan, you'll cheer loudly for me, right?"

"You? As if? If we happen to compete against each other, he's going to be cheering for me." Silvia said. The two of them were going back and forth with their little argument like that. Riruka was getting annoyed with all that.

"Oh boy. I think I see what this is about." Riruka said. "They're both crushing big time on that guy with the black hair, aren't they?"

"Clearly." Orihime said. Seeing them banter like that did have Riruka think about something else.

"I guess you should be grateful we're not like that." Riruka whispered to Orihime. "If we fought over Ichigo like that, you be down in seconds." Orihime blushed, but didn't really know what to say about that. "Hey, Ichigo!"

"Yeah?" Ichigo asked.

"You're going to cheer for me when I win, won't you?" Riruka said.

"I'm sure you'll do fine, but Orihime is the one that's going to win in the end." Ichigo said. Not the response Riruka was expecting.

"Wait. Are you two already an item?" Riruka asked Orihime.

"No! Not at all! It isn't like that at all!" Orihime said out of embarrassment. That aside, Diancie went over to Orihime. It spotted the bandages around Orihime's wrist and was concerned about Orihime's wellbeing. Orihime looked down and could see the look Diancie was giving her. "I'm okay, Diancie. Don't worry." She said as she dropped down to her level. "Just make sure you keep supporting me out there."

"Dia!"

"Welcome back!" Baron announced as everyone looked to the screen. "We kept you all waiting long enough! The time has come to see who is battling who!" The matches were all made at random. Orihime kept her eyes open for her and soon spotted her opponent. To her surprise, it was Silvia as her first opponent.

"Silvia?!" Orihime said.

"It's me and Orihime?!" Silvia said. Neither of them expected to battle each so soon. "I suppose it can't be helped. May the better show-woman win." Orihime could certainly agree to that.

...

The Stage

The next round of the Ultimate Talent Star has begun. Just like before, the battles were all double battles. There were no time limits and the winner advances. A few battles have went on and they were great. Soon, Orihime and Silvia were about to have the battle.

"The time has come for the next battle!" Baron said. "We have Silvia going against Orihime." The two of them came out and were ready for a battle.

"This is going to be a lot of fun." Ivan said as he and the others were watching from the stands.

"It surely will be interesting." Rukia said. "When we first met Silvia, she was starting on her journey. Now, she's here."

"You're right. I guess we're about to see how far Silvia's come exactly." Ichigo said.

"Cheers to a good battle, Orihime. I hope we both do well." Silvia said.

"Thank you, Silvia." Orihime said.

"It's time for this battle to begin! Serperior and Boldore, it's time for battle!" Silvia said as she chose her pokemon.

"Boldore!"

"Serperior!"

"Check it out! Silvia managed to get herself a Serperior!" Ichigo said as they were all shocked to see her with a pokemon like that.

"Swanna and Roserade, let's go!" Orihime said.

"Roserade!"

"Swanna!"

"Nice! Orihime has the advantage with those two!" Ichigo said.

"Maybe, but Silvia is sure to have something up her sleeve for something like that." Chad said.

"It's Swanna and Roserade vs. Serperior and Boldore." Baron said. "Remember to play nice, ladies. Now, let's see which one of them is moving to the next round!" The two of them stood ready and their battle can now begin.

"Roserade, jump on Swanna and get ready!" Orihime said. Roserade went through with it. Roserade jumped on Swanna with Swanna flying in the air.

"Orihime starts off with Roserade riding on Swanna." Baron announced.

"Roserade, Magical Leaf! Swanna, Bubble Beam!" Orihime said. The two of them attacked together, but Silvia and her pokemon didn't seem concerned about it.

"Serperior, Leaf Tornado!" Silvia said. Serperior generated a tornado out of leaves from its tail. It was able to block both attacks quite easily. "Boldore, Rock Blast!" Boldore attacked as it launched rocks at Orihime's pokemon, but Swanna flew around and tried to avoid the attacks. Swanna was doing well, but the last one hit Swanna and did some damage.

"Silvia has Serperior block the attacks and had Boldore attacked." Baron said.

"Serperior, Dragon Tail!" Silvia said.

"No you don't! Roserade, Poison Sting!" Orihime said. Serperior slithered at them with energy around its tail. Roserade tried shooting poisonous needles at Serperior, but Serperior was able to slither past the needles and struck both of her pokemon with its tail.

"Orihime seemed to have a good start, but Silvia easily countered it." Baron said. "She's taken control of this battle."

"Nice try, Orihime, but I'm afraid you'll have to do better than some fancy flying to beat these two." Silvia said.

"They're not beaten yet! Roserade, Weather Ball!" Orihime said.

"Roserade!" Roserade attacked as it shot a ball of light.

"Boldore, block it!" Silvia said. Boldore got in the way of the attack and was able to act like a shield against it.

"Weather Ball doesn't do much good indoors." Rukia said.

"It's basically a normal-type attack. That's not very effective against a rock-type." Chad said.

"The battle is just getting started. Orihime isn't going to give up yet." Ichigo said.

"Take to the sky again!" Orihime said. Roserade jumped on Swanna again and took to the air once again.

"You're not going to escape that easily." Silvia said. "Serperior, Leaf Tornado!" Serperior generated the tornado again and tried to catch the two of them in it. "Boldore, help out and make sure they don't escape! Power Gem!" Boldore helped in the battle by firing the beam at them.

"Silvia uses two attacks at once and tried to catch them, but Swanna is still able to slip out of the way." Baron said.

"Swanna, Air Slash in the tornado!" Orihime said. Swanna used the attack and blasted through the tornado. Swanna flew through the opening and managed to evade both attacks. It was an impressive maneuver. "Roserade, Magical Leaf!" Roserade launched its attack from above and was able to blast both pokemon with its attack. "Now use Brave Bird on Serperior!"

"Swanna!" Swanna flew at Serperior coated in energy. It smashed right into Serperior and did some real damage.

"Brave Bird hits its mark! Boldore and Serperior are taking some real damage!" Baron said. "Silvia better turn this around or this battle could be over for her."

"No worries. We have a few attacks that can work." Silvia said. "Boldore, Sandstorm!"

"Boldore!" Boldore generated a powerful sandstorm. The sandstorm was a powerful one and immense. It was hard to see what was right in front of your own eyes.

"Serperior, Leaf Blade! Boldore, Heavy Slam!" Silvia said. The sandstorm blinded Roserade and Swanna. They couldn't see where the attacks were coming from until it was too late. Serperior slashed its tail against Swanna and Boldore was surrounded by a silver aura as it smashed itself against Roserade.

"Looks like Orihime might be in trouble! Sandstorm has made it difficult for them to see!" Baron said. "How is Orihime and her pokemon going to get out of this?!" Orihime was in real trouble, but there has to be a way.

"Sorry, Orihime, but I'm not going to lose when I'm battling in front of the person I admire the most!" Silvia said. Roserade and Swanna could see they were in real trouble. Neither of them were sure what to do. They could barely see each other.

"Swanna! Roserade! Whatever happens, don't panic!" Orihime called. "We might not be able to see each other, but that doesn't mean we can't win! Just trust in me and trust your instincts!" Orihime was able to reach to her pokemon. They stayed calm and readied themselves.

"Amazing..." Rukia said. "Orihime is handling everything really well. She's not panicking or nervous."

"She's doing great, but she still needs to win." Ichigo said. Her friends were impressed with how she was handling this. Nicholas was rather impressed himself.

"I think it's time we ended this!" Silvia said as she was getting ready to attack.

"Get ready!" Orihime said. Her pokemon readied themselves for whatever attack comes.

"Boldore, Power Gem! Serperior, Leaf Tornado!" Silvia said. The two of them readied their attacks, but it gave away their locations. Orihime trusted her pokemon and their instincts.

"Swanna, Air Slash! Roserade, Magical Leaf!" Orihime said. The two of them were just a second faster. Swanna and Roserade used their attacks and they were able to blast Serperior and Boldore. The sandstorm cleared away and both of them were knocked out of the battle.

"It looks like Serperior and Boldore are no longer able to battle!" Baron announced. "That means Orihime is the winner!" Everyone cheered for her. It was certainly and impressive battle. Riruka and Rena watched the battle themselves and even they were impressed. Now that the battle is over, Orihime and Silvia met in the center of the field and shook hands.

"Thank you, Silvia. It was a great battle." Orihime said.

"I should be thanking you." Silvia said. "If I hadn't met you, I might not even be here. This was the most fun in my life. I'm glad that if I did lose to anyone, it was you." She was happy, but it quickly went to sadness. "I just wish it didn't have to be in front of my dear Ivan, but you were fighting so hard because your love was watching as well."

"My love?" Orihime said as she was getting flustered with her face turning all red. "People need to stop coming back to that!"

Orihime has certainly done well in her first battle. Of course, the battles are only going to get harder from here. Orihime still has ways to go. The Ultimate Talent Star is still going on, but Orihime looks more than ready for it. Stay tune for more excitement.
