My voice echoed around the house as I called out, "Dad! We're going to visit Martha!"

From somewhere in the upper level, we could hear his reply, "Be back by dinner!"

Crow smirked, "We will!"

Jack shook his head, "Your dad is too good to us."

Almost in perfect synchronization, the three of us got on our runners. Carefully, we maneuvered our way out of the garage and onto the street. Once there was space, we started riding side by side towards Satellite. As the wind blew across my face, I turned on the private network, "It's strange to have a mom and dad that never talk."

Crow roared with laughter, "Martha isn't too happy at him taking us away."

Once we entered the boundary of Satellite, the noise between us died down, while we all looked around at our childhood home. New skyscrapers had replaced the fractured ones, the garbage was almost completely gone, and every street was brand new.

When Jack's voice came through the network, it was barely above a sigh, "It almost doesn't feel like our home anymore. It's too clean."

The Blackbird pulled up on my left, "I always wanted the two to be connected, but I feel like our childhood is completely gone now."

"At least we are free to do whatever we want now."

We pulled up to see Martha, Blister, and some of Crow's kids waiting for us, "Crow onii-san!"

He had barely gotten his feet on the ground when he was tackled to the ground by his army of children. I had a flashback to being stuck in the classroom, shuddered, then joined Jack by Martha's side.

Blister laughed at me, "Don't like children?"

"They're okay, I just can't handle more than two at a time. But I'm actually surprised that you are still hanging around here."

He laughed, "You've eaten her cooking. Plus here I can safely do my hacking. Which reminds me…"

Jack and I followed him up to Jack and Crow's old room, where Crow joined us. Blister flopped down in front of his giant bank of computers, pulling up dozens of articles and images.

"You've all heard about the meteor crashing outside of the city, right?"

As Jack and I nodded, Crow started to blabber on, "Yeah, but it's completely off limits, right?"

Blister cut him off, "It's just a cover story. I have multiple sources that say it wasn't a meteor. It was a giant stone tablet."

He switched to an image from above of the crash sight. It was very easy to see the point of impact, and equally easy to see that there was nothing inside of the crater. He continued to explain, "My source also says that the Security Bureau cleaned it up before anyone would get there."

"When did it crash again?"

It was Jack who answered my question, "About a month ago."

"Wait," I glanced at them, "Just about the time that the Ridingroid went missing?"

Crow looked nervous, "Do you think that they could be connected?"

A quiet knock shut us up, and the door cracked open, "Hey!"

Blister's roommate poked his albino head into the room, smiling at the three of us.

I smiled, "Hey there, Kiryu! What have you been up to?"

Kiryu slowly moved into the room the rest of the way, staying near the door, "I work at the nursing home next door. Since most of them are from the Satellite, they don't judge me by my mark."

Crow walked over and slapped him on the back, "Only idiots would judge you, me, or Yusei by our marks."

Pale blue eyes locked onto the mark on my face, "I just realized that I never asked how you got that."

Before I could say anything, Jack shot out of the room, causing Crow and I to burst into laughter. Pulling myself together, I smiled, "A certain somebody stole my first runner and Stardust Dragon from me, then ran to the city to become famous. Me, being the stubborn, annoying little sister that I am, chased him down. Goodwin threw me into the Facility until he found out that I was a Signer, or else I would likely be spending a life sentence there because I pissed off the warden in a record breaking three days."

Silence reigned in the room as the three guys stared in shock at me, "What? We all know that I have terrible luck with people. He didn't like me because I would speak back to him."

Kiryu rubbed the back of his neck, "I'm eternally grateful that I don't remember my time in the Facility from what I've heard about."

I wrapped an arm around him, "It's not worth remembering. Most boring week of my life."

We all went down the stairs, and heard Martha and Dr Schmidt talking, "I went over there, and he threw garbage at my head again."

"If only we could get him to come."

Crow opened the door as I casually dragged Kiryu in with me. We looked between the two, and Crow piped up, "What's wrong?"

Martha sighed, "There's an old man living alone not far from here. We keep offering him a place here, but he wants to live in his home still, despite the fact that it is about to fall down."

The crowd of children inched into the room, and one of the girls looked over to Crow, "You can help, right Crow?"

He jumped in shock, "I'm not good with old people."

One of the boys muttered to the others, "I told you that he wouldn't do it."

Immediately, Crow bristled up, clutching his fists, "I'll do it, and I'll do it in just an hour!"

I followed him, grabbing Jack and Blister, nodding to Kiryu on the way out.

We pulled up outside of a massive pile of rubbish, and Crow froze, "This is where the old man lives?"

Blister nodded, "That's why Martha and the good doctor are worried about him."

As Crow took a step forward, a voice echoed throughout the wreckage, "Don't take another step!"

The three of us looked around for the source of the voice, and Blister lifted up his hand to point to a window, "That's the old man."

Classic Crow decided to make a ridiculous decision by hollering out to the man, "Come on, old timer! We're here to bring you to stay with Martha!"

I massaged my temples as the old man yelled back, "I'm staying here!"

Jack and I gave each other a look as Crow marched into the junkyard, "How much you willing to bet that he's going to get hurt?"

Before either Jack or Blister could speak, something popped up and sent Crow flying back towards us, crashing to the ground right in front of us.

Apparently Blister is terrible at hiding his laughter, because he snorted so hard that he started coughing while Jack and I were clearing our throats suspiciously. None of us went forward to check on him.

Within seconds of him crashing to the ground, Crow pushed himself back to his feet and ran back in for round two.

To try and prevent myself from further laughter, I covered my mouth as a trap door in the ground opened up. Crow jumped over it easily, but as he started to return to earth, the ground where he would land also opened up. He disappeared from view, and Jack leaned over to whisper in my ear, "A double trap, not bad. We could have used that back when we were a gang."

From beside us, Blister let out a snicker, while I fought back a laugh myself.

Crow hauled himself out of the hole, still making his way towards the house. He only made it about a dozen steps before the ground lurched up underneath him and yeeted him out of sight. Jack and I exchanged glances before I spoke, "We should go check on him."

"He went pretty far up, so I guess."

Together, the three of us weaved our way between piles, keeping an eye out for any potential traps. Luckily, we didn't encounter any. But we were stunned to see what Crow had landed on.

He spun around with his arms wide, "It's a duel arena, just like what Yugi used to use!"

Jack inspected it, "It looks handmade."

The old man ran up to us, waving his hands wildly, "Get off of there!"

Crow just smiled, "Your trap tossed me up here, so it's kind of your fault that I'm here. But hey, how about we duel? This is so cool, and it deserves a chance to be used."

Silence reigned for a few seconds before the old man spoke, "You want to duel on my arena?"

My brother nodded, "Yeah, I mean you've built this, so we need to use it! If I win, you have to move in with Martha. If you win, I'll leave you alone."

Blister and Jack were watching the duel with baited breath, however I was distracted by the urge to investigate the duel arena and how it worked, as well as resisting my instinct of digging through trash to find usable parts.

So my mind was bouncing between those two concepts, but also really interested in his deck because it was a Junk related deck like mine.

He had so many Junk style trap cards lying on the field, and two monsters from a combo; Paternal Junk and Maternal Junk.

Jack spoke loudly in my ear, "Why doesn't he summon Kid Junk? Wouldn't he be unstoppable with it?"

I glanced at Jack, "He'd summon it if he had it. Wait a second...I'll be right back."

Slipping inside the house, I searched around for either Kid Junk or a reason why he would not be summoning it. After a minute, I stumbled across a picture of a happy family.

As I picked up the picture, the world shook, and I glanced outside to see the piles of Junk collapsing around the house.

Pushing my way outside, I found everyone safe, but the old man was trying to escape Crow's and Jack's grasps to go back into the house, "I need to get something!"

They all noticed me as I approached the group, and I held out the picture, "Is this what you want?"

He gently took it from my hands, and I crouched in front of him, "You didn't have Kid Junk in your deck, did you?"

"No, I gave it to my son right before his mother left with him."

Crow stood up, "Look around! You now have three fully grown sons and a daughter that can keep up with us and sometimes kick our butts!"

While we all laughed, he smiled at us, "Thank you."

A few days later, we pulled up to Martha's house to see an in-progress statue of a familiar dragon. I turned off my engine, got off my runner, and walked around to the front of the statue of Stardust, "Why is everyone so obsessed with my dragon?"

Crow smirked, "Because it's basically your symbol anymore. If you don't bring it out in a duel, then something is wrong."

I shoved him as the old man climbed down, "Crow! Come over here and massage my shoulders!"

His smile disappeared as he stood straight up, "Why me?"

Jack shoved him forward, "It seems like you are his favorite."

"It's a son's duty to make sure his father is comfortable, now get over here!"

Both of us dissolved into snickers, and I managed to spit out, "Thank goodness I'm not his son."
