It's a good thing I love my dad, because this is really early to wake up.

"Why did Hakase wake us up earlier than we normally get up?"

Crow was on the receiving end of one of my glares, "How am I supposed to know? I see him barely more than you two."

Jack slurped down ramen before he joined the conversation, "He mentioned something about the party that's coming up."

"That's right. Since all of you are free today, I'm going to take you to get formal clothing."

We all whipped around to see my dad walking towards the door while pulling on a light jacket, "Well, what are you waiting for?"

All three of us let out sighs of varying volumes before rushing to catch up with him, and followed him down the street to a shop called 'Dignified Glamor'.

It had two giant window displays, filled to the brim with mannequins that had incredibly fancy clothes. Crow and I exchanged weary looks while Dad was doing his best to slow down Jack by entering the building in front of him.

Upon our entry to the store, three salespeople came up to us. Dad gave each of them a brief bow, "Ayumi, Takuya, Keita, these are my children."

The lady bowed back, "Welcome to our store. I will help Fudo Yusei. Takuya will take Atlas-san and Fudo Hakase, and Keita will take Crow-san."

Crow slowly moved with his assigned helper, and Jack stalked away with Dad following him after the other one. Ayumi turned to me with a smile on her face, "Fudo-san, do you wish to wear a dress or a suit to the Kick Off Party?"

I grimaced, "I don't really enjoy getting in fancy clothing. But typically I wear pants."

She smiled, nodding her head, "How about we work on your dueling uniform first, and you can think about your clothes for the kick off party while we decide that."

Together, we moved over to her design table, where she spread out a bunch of drawings, "Let's start by picking which of these you like the most."

Glancing over all of the designs, I picked one, "I guess this one? I don't get why I need a uniform for dueling."

For a second, she paused, before picking up a camera, "How about I make something that matches your current style? Then it wouldn't be too far from what you are used to."

"Sure. If that's not too much trouble."

Ayumi waves over to a nearby white wall, "If you go stand over there, I can take pictures of your clothes so I can have a reference."

She took a lot of pictures before putting the camera down, "Now I need to write down measurements so I know what size to make it."

While she took her measurements, I could hear Jack's voice from somewhere else in the store. He was really going at it, but I couldn't make out exactly what he was pissed about.

Once she was done, she pulled out a second group of designs, this time, dresses and suits, "Do any of these catch your attention?"

My eyes latched onto one instantly, "I do like that one. But could you make it a little less fancy?"

"Yes, of course! We can take off some of the embellishments to make you more comfortable."

After three hours of being in the store, I couldn't wait to leave.

Crow and I were waiting for Dad and Jack, who were probably still arguing over the price of something that Jack wanted.

He turned to me, "Hey, have you heard the story about the haunted forest?"

I sighed as I sagged against the wall, "Crow, what on Earth are you talking about?"

His eyes gleamed, "They say that a family used to live in the forest, and when the parents were on one of many business trips, the two children disappeared. Since then, other people have gone missing in that exact same forest."

My eyes rolling was the only response he got from that.

"Oh, come on, Yusei! I can't make up something this good."

I locked on him with my best 'disapproving look', "But other people can."

Dad finally emerged with a glaring Jack, "Alright, you three are free to go. Just make sure that you pick up your clothes on the date they told you."

Crow raced off like the Dark Signers were chasing him, while Jack stalked away from us, clearly upset about something.

I walked home with Dad, "Had some fun debating prices with Jack?"

His heavy sigh was the only answer I needed, "You failed to mention how determined he can get about owning the right clothes."

A snort slipped out of me, "Why do you think that it was so easy for Rex to convince him to go to the city all of those years ago?"

"Fair point."

The calm of the garage was shattered by a child's voice yelling, "Fudo-sama!"

Luna and Leo's friend, Dexter, burst into my garage panting, "Luna, she went missing in the forest!"

I glanced at my bare arm, "The forest that seems to swallow people?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Just wonderful."

Yanking on my jacket, I marched over to Justice, "Go home, I'll find the two of them."

"But I didn't say anything about Leo."

I smiled at him, "One thing I can always say about Leo is that he'd rather die than let anything happen to Luna."

Pulling on my gloves, I climbed onto Justice. As I drove out, I prayed that both of them were safe.

Justice was not meant for driving through an overgrown forest. Every bone in my body was screaming in agony, and the shock absorbers were starting to show massive warning signs about their capabilities of continuing.

Finally, I arrived at the edge of a clearing, where a large house dominated most of the cleared space. In front of it lay a duel surrounded by several glowing rings of light. The young boy closest to the house was not someone I was familiar with, but the one closer to me was Leo.

An overwhelming amount of emotions hit me as the other boy turned to look at me, "Another demon."

Ignoring his comment, I glanced at Leo, "I'm glad that you are doing alright, but where is Luna?"

He pointed at a window on the top floor of the house in front of us, "He trapped her up there."

Squinting, I searched the windows on the top floor, finally finding Luna's distinctive hair in the one on the corner. She waved at me before looking behind her at something.

Darkness swirled around the young boy and the front door as he yelled at us, "There, she is safe from demons like you two!"

"Quit calling me a demon! Powertool Dragon, attack Hollow Spirit!"

While Leo's dragon launched forward to attack, I took the opportunity to drive my runner right into the doors of the house, crashing through them and the dark magic that had been trying to shield them.

I could hear the two boys yelling at each other outside, but I was fascinated by what I saw inside. On the wall was a picture of two kids, one was the boy outside.

House in the middle of the woods, two kids, this is the same thing that was in Crow's story! But that would mean that the boy outside is one of the missing kids.

"Yusei? Was that you?"

Looking around, I found the stairs, "Yeah, I'm coming!"

Taking the stairs two at a time, I got to the top pretty fast.

At the top of the stairs, I was faced with a hallway of doors that all looked completely identical, except for one that had the same dark aura around it.

Might as well try that one. It's not close enough to where Luna is, but he's gotta be hiding something in there.

Crashing through it, I found a room full of cards with people's faces on them, So these are the other missing people. I guess that means that the boy did this to the others after he went missing.

Going back out into the hall, I looked out a window to get my bearings, Okay, so I can see the duel from here, which means that Luna should be inside the room at the end of the hall.

The door in question was locked, which was not surprising. So I did my best impression of Jack's deadly kick, instantly caving in the door.

Luna jumped a mile in the air as I came into the room, "How did you?"

"Not the first time I've kicked a door in. Don't tell my dad. Are you okay?"

"A little scared, but can you see the girl?"

Looking around the very frilly and pink room, my eyes finally landed on a semi-transparent girl crying against a wall, It's the girl from the picture!

I carefully walked over to her, "Hello there, what is your name?"

She turned around, wiping tears off her face, "Claire. Have you seen my brother?"

Luna nodded, pointing out the window, "He's dueling my brother."

Her eyes went wide, "Then you have to stop him!"

We all rushed downstairs together, emerging from the front door just as Leo won.

Claire drifted out to her brother, who was freaking out, "No, how could I lose? How can I protect us from the demons?"

He calmed down when she put her hand on his shoulder, "Haley, we've been dead for years. You just have never accepted it."

As the two of them talked, Luna and I joined Leo, who looked a little worse for the wear.

Luna and Leo embraced, and Haley turned to us, "I'm sorry. I didn't realise that the two of us had the same goal. Take care of her, right?"

Leo nodded, "Of course I will."

I wrapped my arms around both twins, "Let's get you two back."
