Third Person POV:

Ethan is driving down a streetlight lit road, the wiper blades are moving in a synchronized motion moving the raindrops out of view. Of course, it's raining on the day we search for my son. Ethan thought as he focused on the road ahead of him. Sitting next to him, Benny looked out the passenger side window watching the lights as they drove by. In the backseat, sat Sarah. She was looking down at her phone, she sent a text to Erica letting her know that she will update with any information. Erica would be helping too, but she and her adoptive son Eric were vacationing with Erica's parents. She was devasted to hear the news of Matthew's kidnapping and sent them love and support.

Sarah looking up from her phone, "So guys, tell me again why you invited your neighbor to help look for Matty? Didn't the guy just move in? Can we really trust him?" She asked leaning forward.

Ethan looked in the rearview mirror to not only look at Sarah, but to make sure Jesse was still following behind them. "Yes, he just moved in almost a week ago. He's been really nice and he was the only other person in this town besides my friends and family to help look." Ethan said. Benny focusing back into the car instead of the lights, looked over at Ethan as he and Sarah continued discussing Jesse.

Mhmm… that is odd that he was so willing to help us. Benny thought, his face forming a confused look and soon turned to a bit of a scowl. I don't like how he was checking Ethan out the other day… Something feels off about him. Benny soon shook his head and looked back out the window as the group pulled into the warehouse district of the city.

In the district, there were about 15 huge warehouses built to do all sorts of things. Most of the abandoned, but some were still up and running. The group of adults soon all got out of the car. Sarah and Ethan got out and walked over to join Benny. Benny wrapped his arm around Ethan's waist as Jesse pulled up beside them.

Jesse stepped out of the car and waved at the group. "Hey guys, how are you?" He asked as he made his way over. "You must Sarah, Ethan's friend, right?" He asked sticking his hand out to Sarah. Sarah gave a smile and nodded as she shook his hand.

"So where do we start?" He asked as he turned facing with the other towards the rows of huge building. The grouped discussed their routes and divided them amongst themselves. Soon Ethan and Benny started walking in one direction while Jesse and Sarah walked another.

The search for Matthew began.

Katie's POV:

Ughh.. why do cheerleaders wear so many uniforms? I thought as I was put in another load of uniforms in the school's laundry room that connected to the locker rooms. I looked at my watch on my wrist, 6:02pm it read. "I can't believe I am having to stay late after practice for this." I slumped over in the nearby chair waiting for the uniforms in the dryer to be done. Only two more loads. I thought as I laid my head down in my hands.

~creaakk~

I quickly looked toward the doorway were the laundry room and the locker room met.

Was that the outside door? No one else should be here. I thought to myself as I stood up from the chair. I looked around for a weapon and found a lone screwdriver sitting on top of a nearby shelf. I quickly grabbed it and turned facing the doorway, slowly approaching it. I am not about to be murdered today. No Way!

"Hello?... Is anyone there?" I shouted gripping the screwdriver tight in my hand, preparing to jab anyone that came through the door. Suddenly, a person with a bag in their hands popped in the doorway.

We both let out a loud scream. "AHHHHHHH!"

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING KATIE?" shouted Stephanie as she raised the bag over her face to protect herself. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Me?! You were the one sneaking up on me, what are you doing here?" I said lowering my hands. Stephanie soon stuck out her hand holding a bag out. "You forgot these." She said with a smug smile. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the bag out her hands. I turned towards the other piles with my back facing her. "Thanks, I guess. You know I really think you shouldn't have punished me as much. I mean I was only a minute late." I said dumbing the bag out into the laundry bin.

"Well, it's a good thing, this was just the beginning." I heard her say behind me. I quickly turned around, "What's that's suppose-" I started to say when she cut me off by raising her hand.

A smile went across Stephanie's face, "Dormientibus" she said as she snapped her fingers. A purple spark flew from her fingertips and soon a wave of dizziness fell over me and my eyes hazed over with a purple smoke closing in on my vision. I soon lost my balance and hit the ground. I slowly drifted off to sleep when I heard Stephanie faintly giggle. As my eyes were closing shut, she snapped her fingers again. A huge cloud of smoke appeared, and I slowly saw the room around us fall away and a new one appeared. It was dark and I only saw a few light strung across the ceiling.

"What the… K-Katie!" I heard a familiar voice yell right before my world went dark.

Jesse's POV:

Sarah and I finished looking in the last building on our first row. Obviously no sign of the boy. "Only 5 more to go" Sarah said as she started walking towards the next warehouse. I nodded my head and followed her. I looked down the next row and spotted a familiar building. I can't let her go in that one. I thought knowing that in that particular warehouse is the new home for Ethan's soon to be forgotten family. As we stepped into the next abandoned building, Sarah using her vampire speed ran forward into the first few rooms. Obvious I could do the same, but I'm not letting them know that I am a vampire too. So, I just followed in a normal pace. Sarah soon stopped at the staircase leading up to the second floor.

Beep. Beep. My phone chimed. I scanned the screen.

I got the girl-Stephanie

I smiled. Bingo! the plan is working! Quickly putting my phone away. I looked over at Sarah as she waited for me to catch up.

"Jesse, do you want to lead the way on the next floor?" She asked. I grin swept across my face and I soon used my vamp speed to move closer to her. Her eyes grew wide, and she gasped. I soon reached up and snapped her neck. She fell quickly to the floor, dead.

Well, that will at least give me an hour. Good thing she's a vampire. I thought as a began dragging her into a nearby closet. She will soon heal herself in an hour or two and be revived. So I quickly locked the door and barricaded her inside.

Next Stop, Benny and Ethan.

I flashed out of the building and stood by my car. Soon a purple cloud appeared and quickly disappeared leaving Stephanie standing in its place. I pointed down towards the path Benny and Ethan took and we both started advancing in their direction.

"This should be fun" I said smiling looking at her.
