Chris peeked into the Kitchen Area of the mountain, checking to see if it was occupied.

After seeing that the room was empty the girl entered, and made her way to the refrigerator. She opened the fridge and looked inside, moving things around to try and find something to eat. Finding nothing she wanted Chris slammed the fridge door in frustration.

She then made her way towards the cabinets, hoping to have better luck finding something in there.

As Chris reached the cabinets, a loud beeping was heard causing her to jump. She looked around the room, and discover the noise came from the oven. Chris grabbed a hand towel that was sitting on the counter and made her way towards the oven.

After reaching the oven, Chris open it to retrieve whatever was in there. Seconds after smoked poured out of the oven and blow right in Chris' face, causing the girl to cough and wave her hand in front of her face to try and get the smoke to clear. After the smoke cleared Chris retrieved the tray from the oven and set it down on top of the counter.

Moments later in ran (and flew) Miss Martian, Robin, Wally, Superboy, and Aqualad. Miss Martian paused seeing Chris standing in the Kitchen, "Oh! Frostbite, you're out of your room!" she smiled.

"Yeah," replied the girl hesitantly not knowing what to say to the Martian. She then gestured towards the tray that laid on the counter, "By the way, I took your...things out of the oven."

"Thank you! And they were cookies," said Miss Martian sadly. "I was trying out Grammy Jones' recipe from episode 17 of- Uh, heh. Never mind."

Robin smiled at her, "I bet they'd have tasted great," he then motioned towards Wally who was eating the burnt cookies, "He doesn't seem to mind."

Wally looked around the room, "I have a serious metabolism," he said trying to explain himself.

Chris looked at Kid Flash in disgust, "That's still really gross, West."

"I'll make more?" said Miss Martian, stopping Wally from snapping back at the girl.

"It was sweet of you to make any," said Aqualad.

"Thanks, Aqualad," smiled Miss Martian.

"We're off-duty. Call me Kaldur' Ahm," said Aqualad before he corrected himself, "Actually, my friends call me Kaldur."

"I'm Wally," said Wally, as he finished off the burnt cookies. "See, I already trust you with my secret ID..." he then motioned towards Robin, "...unlike Mr. Dark Glasses over here. Batman's forbidden Boy Wonder from telling anyone his real name."

Before Robin could make a remake towards Wally, Chris butted in, "Yeah causes he's smart, unlike you West. You'd tell your secret ID to a brick wall if it was hot enough." Wally glared at the girl, while Robin laughed, finding the remake funny.

Once again before Wally could snap at Chris, Miss Martain butted in, "Mine's no secret. It's M'gann M'orzz," she said her voice full of excitement. "But you can call me Megan. It's an Earth name, and I'm on Earth now." She then looked towards Chris, "What about you?"

Chris looked at the Martain startled by her question, "Who me?" she asked pointing to herself. Miss Martian nodded. "Oh, that's not important," Chris waved off.

"Chris," interrupted Wally, trying to get the girl back for her earlier comments. "Her name's Chris or Christina if we're doing full names."

Chris glared at Wally while Miss Martain stared at him in confusion. "How do you know that? Do you guys know each other?"

"Oh yeah," said Robin. "I forgot you two knew each other."

"Really?" asked Aqualad. "I did not know that."

Wally nodded, "Yeah, we use to be friends, a long time ago," he said vaguely, trying not to give any detail about the subject.

Miss Martain frowned at the two, "Used to be? What happened?" she asked wanting to learn more about her teammates.

"Nothing," snapped Chris, feeling uncomfortable talking about her and Wally's friendship. "It's none of your guys' business anyway."

"My apologies," said Aqualad, getting the sense of how Chris was feeling. "We did not mean to pry." Miss Martain nodded in agreement with Aqualad's statement.

Chris rolled her eyes, and crossed her arms, "Whatever," she scoffed.

Silence soon arose among the teens and Superboy, who never said a word the whole time, moved to exit the Kitchen. 'Don't worry Superboy,' said Miss Martain, noticing his exit. 'We'll find you an Earth name too,' she continued inside his head.

Superboy groaned at the intrusion of the Martain. "Get out of my head!" he yelled as he held his head in pain.

'What's wrong?' asked Miss Martain, as she spoke in the heads of the others in the room. 'I don't understand. Everyone on Mars communicates telepathically.'

The other teens all held their heads in pain as the Martain spoke. "M'gann, stop," order Aqualad, removing his hand from his head. "Things are different on Earth," he explained. "Here, your powers are an extreme invasion of privacy."

"Besides," interrupted Wally after he recovered from the pain in his head. "Cadmus' creepy little psychic G-Gnomes left a bad taste in his brain."

Miss Martain frowned, "I didn't mean to-," she tried to explain, before being cut off by Superboy. "Just stay out," he said aggressively, before walking out of the Kitchen.

Chris gestured towards the Kryptonian, "What he said." She then glared at the Martain, "And if you ever do that again, I will turn you into a living popsicle."

Miss Martain looked towards Chris nervously before smiling, "Hello, Megan," she tapped her forehead. "I know what we can do." She then flew out of the room, leaving the others behind.

Aqualad, Wally, and Robin moved to follow her, while Chris moved to walk back towards her room, but was stopped by Robin tugging on her elbow, "Come on," he said, causing her to groan, but not the less she follows the sidekicks.

The elevator doors opened, and the Team stepped out.

"It's my Martian Bio-Ship," said Miss Martian, gesturing towards the giant egg-like thing that was in front of them.

"Cute," said Wally. "Not aerodynamic, but cute."

Miss Martian giggled at him, "It's at rest, silly. I'll wake it." Immediately the giant egg-like thing transformed, and turned around opening up a hatch. "Well, are you coming?" asked the Martian.

Nervously Robin stepped forward, followed by the others. Making their way onto the alien ship.

"Strap in for launch," said Miss Martian, as seats formed from the ground.

Robin and Wally moved to seat on opposite sides of the ship, with Chris sitting in front of Robin, with Aqualad and Superboy in the seats next to her.

"Red Tornado, please open the bay doors," asked Miss Martian.

"Frostbite is not permitted to leave then cave," answered the android over the radio, his voice ringing through the ship.

"It's ok," called Robin. "Batman said it was fine, as long as she's not alone."

The bay doors then opened, and the Bio-Ship flew out.

"Incredible," said the Boy Wonder, as he stared out the window.

"She sure is," replied Wally as he stared at Miss Martian. "I mean, the ship, which, like all ships, is a she," he added after realizing everyone was staring at him.

"Fast with his feet not so much with his mouth," laughed Robin, causing Chris in front of him to laugh as well.

"Dude," said Wally, embarrassed by his friend's words.

Chris laughed again before she turned her attention to Superboy and Aqualad's conversation next to her.

"I may not have psychic power, but I can guess what you're thinking," whispered Aqualad. "You overreacted and you don't know how to apologize. Just say sorry."

"Sorry?" asked Chris, cutting in. "Why would he have to say sorry? She's the one who did something wrong."

Aqualad stared at the teen for a moment, "Perhaps, but she did not know and apologized."

"Whatever," muttered Chris.

"Hey," said Robin loudly, gathering everyone's attention. "How about showing us a little Martian shape-shifting?"

Miss Martian stood up from her seat, and morphed into a female-like version of Robin, spinning around and morphing into a female-like version of Wally.

"Is it wrong that I think I'm hot?" asked Wally, staring at Miss Martian's version of him.

"Yes," cut in Chris, making Wally glared at her.

"Impressive," clapped Robin, stopping Wally from responding. "But you know you're not exactly gonna fool anyone with those."

"Mimicking boys is a lot harder," said Miss Martian after she morphed back into herself.

"And your clothes?" asked Aqualad curiously.

"They're organic, like the ship," answered Miss Martian, pulling on her jacket. "They respond to my mental commands."

"As long as they're the only ones," comments Superboy.

Miss Martian dropped her head at his comment. "Can you do that ghosting-through walls that Manhunter does?" asked Wally, noticing the Martian's actions.

"Density-shifting?" she asked. "No. It's a very advanced technique."

"Flash can vibrate his molecules right through a wall," said Robin, hoping to make Miss Martian feel better. "When he tries it," he laughed. "Bloody nose."

Chris laughed, "Dude, that's awesome."

"Here's something I can do," cut in Miss Martian. "Camouflage mode."

"Red Tornado to Miss Martian. An emergency alert has been triggered at the Happy Harbor Power Plant. I suggest you investigate, covertly. I'm sending coordinates."

"Received. Adjusting course."

Robin scoffed, "Tornado's keeping us busy again."

"Well," said Miss Martian. "A simple fire led you to Superboy. We should find out what caused the alert."

"I think I know the cause," said Superboy, as he looked out the window.

Outside was a tornado, not far from them, that spun right into them, picking up the Bio-Ship.

The Bio-Ship spun around inside the tornado before Miss Martian regained control, and landed.

A hatch opened at the bottom and the team jumped out.

"Robin, are tornadoes common to New England?" asked Aqualad. "Robin?" he repeated realizing the Boy Wonder was gone.

"He was just here," commented Miss Martian.

A second later the warehouse windows shattered, and the teens ran in, with Chris slowly following them.

"Who's your new friend?" asked Superboy as he landed next to the missing team member.

"Didn't catch his name, but he plays kind of rough," answered Robin.

"My apologies," said the giant android that was in front of the team. "You may address me as Mr. Twister," he continued before making two tornados appear that hit Superboy and Chris, who were standing near each other, forcing them to crash into a wall behind them.

Chris groaned as she landed on top of Superboy, before rolling off of him, choosing to stay put instead of re-joining the others in the fight.

She could hear the groans of the others as Mr. Twister knocked them around.

"I was prepared to be challenged by a superhero," said Mr. Twister. "I was not, however, expecting children."

"I'm not a superhero," muttered Chris from her spot on the ground.

"Nor am I a child," she added in unison with Robin, who shouted, "We're not children."

"Objectively, you are," said Mr. Twister. "Have you no adult supervision?" he asked. "I find your presence here quite disturbing."

"Sucks for you," said Chris, finally getting up.

"Well, we hate to see you disturbed," added Robin. "Let's see if you're more turbed once we kick your can."

While others attacked Mr. Twister, Chris tried to find a way to take off her inhibitor collar, or at least deactivate it so she could freeze that stupid android for throwing her into a wall.

Distracted, and out in the open, Chris was once again thrown around as Miss Martian and Superboy were thrown into her, causing them all to groan, as Mr. Twister finished off Robin and Aqualad.

"Indeed, that was quite turbing. Thank you," said the android as he exited the warehouse.

.

.

.

After collecting themselves, the teens followed Mr. Twister outside to see him throwing Wally around.

"I got you, Wally," said Miss Martain, as she used her powers to stop him from falling to the ground.

"Thanks."

"I would have thought you had all learned your limitations by now," mocked Mr. Twister, when he noticed the rest of the team.

Chris growled, "When I get my powers back I'm so going turn you into the biggest popsicle ever seen."

The team sent her a concerned look before Aqualad stepped forward. "What do you want?"

"Isn't it obvious?" asked Mr. Twister. "I'm waiting for a real hero."

Aqualad turned to Miss Martian, "Read his mind," he ordered. "Find a weakness."

"I thought I wasn't supposed to do that," said Miss Martian, a little confused.

"It's okay with the bad guys," snapped Robin.

"Nothing. I'm getting nothing," said Miss Martain, after trying to read Mr. Twister's mind. "Hello, Megan," she tapped her forehead. "Mr. Twister is Red Tornado in disguise."

"That doesn't sound right," interrupted Chris, not liking what the martian was saying.

"He's inorganic. An android," continued Miss Martian, ignoring Chris' comment. "And how many androids do you know that can generate tornados?"

"Red Tornado sent us here," agreed Aqualad.

"After saying we'd be tested soon enough," added Robin. "This is his test. Something to keep us busy."

"Speedy called it," scoffed Wally. "We're a joke."

Turning his attention towards Mr. Twister, Robin shouted "We know who you are and what you want."

"So let's end this," added Aqualad.

"Consider it ended," said Mr. Twister, creating a giant tornado above his head.

"An impressive show," continued Aqualad. "But we will not indulge you. We will not engage."

Thundered craked from the tornado above.

"Uh, can Red Tornado do that?" asked Chris and Wally in unison.

"You think I'm Tornado?" asked Mr. Twister. "Ironic," he added sending the tornado he made towards the team, knocking them all back, and out.

.

.

.

Chris woke up with a groan and saw the others do the same.

"What happened?" asked Wally.

"I placed the Bio-Ship between us," admitted Miss Martain.

Superboy shouted, punching the rocks next to him, "That supposed to make it right?" he asked. "You tricked us into thinking Twister was Red Tornado."

"She didn't do it on purpose," interrupted Aqualad, defending Miss Martain.

"It was a rookie mistake," added Robin. "We shouldn't have listened."

"You are pretty inexperience," added Wally. "Hit the showers. We'll take it from here."

"Great idea, I'll join," said Chris, speaking for the first time since waking up.

"Oh no you don't," said Robin, pulling on Chris's elbow. "You have to come with us sorry, but Bats told me you can't leave my sight."

"Nice to know he doesn't trust me." she scoffed, but followed after Superboy, Wally, and Robin, leaving behind Aqualad, and Miss Martain.

.

.

.

When the teens reached Mr. Twister's location, they could see people panicking, as Mr. Twister destroyed cars and buildings. "Certainly, this will get the required attention."

"You got ours," shouted Wally, running at full speed toward the android. "Full and undivided," he said slamming himself into Mr. Twister.

"Immaterial and insufficient," snapped Mr. Twister bringing up his hand to create more tornados. "You are a distraction I can no longer tolerate."

Out of nowhere, Superboy jumped in, pushing Mr. Twister back, causing the android to send more tornados toward them.

Robin and Aqualad joined in, trying to take down Mr. Twister, as Chris hid behind a large boat, that was destroyed, still trying to find a way to get her powers back.

"Would you stop doing that?" snapped Robin, as he and Wally joined her behind the boat.

"Dude, you brought your utility belt?" interrupted Wally, when he saw the Boy Wonder pulling it out from under his hoodie.

"Never leave home without it," said Robin. "First thing Batman taught me."

"Great," said Chris sarcastically. "You got a way to turn this off in there?" she pointed toward the collar around her neck.

Robin shook his head, "Sorry."

'Listen to me, all of you,' interrupted Miss Martain, stopping Chris' reply.

"What did we tell you?" shouted Superboy.

'I know, and I know I messed up. But now I'm very clear on what we need to do. Please trust me,' begged Miss Martain.

.

.

.

Before they could attack Mr. Twister again, Red Tornado appeared.

"Hit the showers, boys, and girl," he said. "I was hoping you could handle it. Clearly, you cannot."

"But we've got a plan now," whined Robin.

"The subject is not up for debate," said the android.

"Works for me," said Chris, getting dirty looks from the others as they all walked away.

"I was beginning to believe you'd never show up," said Mr. Twister.

"I'm here now," said Red Tornado, creating a tornado to attack the other android.

Mr. Twister sent the tornado back at Red Tornado, along with another.

"We are evenly matched, Twister," said Red Tornado, destroying the two tornados.

"No, Tornado, we are not," said Mr. Twister, sending lighting to attach Red Tornado.

Red Tornado fell to the ground.

"Remain still, android," said Mr. Twister, approaching Tornado, attaching wires to the back of his neck. "The reprogramming won't take long."

Red Tornado grabbed at the wires, "Longer than you might think," his head transforming into Miss Martain.

"No," said Mr. Twister, before a tornado spun into him, and knocked him away into Superboy, who repeatedly punched him, before punching him into the water.

Aqualad, who was stationed in the water, electrocuted Mr. Twister, sending him back to land, where Miss Martain used her telekinesis to rip apart his arms, as Robin sent explosive batarangs into him forcing him to the ground.

Mr. Twister's armor opened up, and a man fell out. "Foul. I call foul."

Miss Martain approach him, picked up a large rock with her telekinesis, and slammed it into him.

"M'gann, no!" shouted Aqualad, trying to stop her, while the others watched with wide eyes.

"Woah," muttered Chris, in shock.

"Don't know how things are done on Mars," snapped Robin, coming out of his shock, "but on Earth, we don't execute our captives."

"You said you'd trust me," smiled Miss Martain, using her telekinesis to pick up the rock.

Underneath where blood and guts should have been, were wires and metal.

"That's why I couldn't read his mind," she explained.

"Cool," said Wally picking up a discarded eyeball. "Souvenir."

"We should have had more faith in you," apologized Aqualad.

"Yeah, you rocked this mission," joked Wally. "Get it? Rocked? Heh."

Chris groaned, "Your jokes weren't funny as kids and they aren't funny now West."

Wally glared at her, "Are too!"

"Ignore them," interrupted Robin, before a fight could break out between the two teens. "We're all just turbed you're on the team."

"Thanks. Me too," said Miss Martain.

.

.

.

After returning to the Cave, the team began explaining what happened to Red Tornado.

"It was clearly created to sabotage or destroy you," said Aqualad.

"Agreed," said the real Red Tornado.

"Is that why you wouldn't help us?" questioned Miss Martain.

"No. This was your battle," answered the android. "I do not believe it is my role to solve your problems for you. Nor should you solve mine for me."

Chris, Robin, Wally, and Superboy all turned their attention from the screen, that was next to them, to Red Tornado.

"But if you're in danger-" stuttered Miss Martain.

"Consider this matter closed," Red Tornado cut in, before walking away.

"Batman, Aquaman, and Flash, they'd have jumped right in to fix things," snapped Wally.

"Not Killer Frost," added Chris, earning sad looks in return.

"Guess if we're gonna have a babysitter, a heartless machine is exactly what we need," said Robin.

"Dude, harsh."

"And inaccurate," cut in Red Tornado. "I have a heart. Carbon-steel alloy. I also have excellent hearing."

"Ha, right," chuckled Robin. "I'll strive to be more accurate."

"And more respectful," added Aqualad.

"You think he'll let me see it if I ask?" interrupted Chris, causing the others to look at her in confusion. "His heart."

"Perhaps that is not something you should ask," answered Aqualad.

Chris shrugged, deciding that maybe Aqualad was right, she wouldn't ask, at least not now, maybe another day. But for now, she'll just go back to hiding in her room.
