Obstinateshipping (Seto x Honda x Otogi)
Why the hell is it snowing in November? Why the hell is it snowing now?
Seto Kaiba sent his fiercest glare out into the thick gusts of white sky poop. Hints of cold air were sneaking through the glass walls of the Black Clown game shop, but the heat was on high so most of the cold died within seconds of creeping through the crack of the door.
"Geez, it's coming down," Otogi commented from behind him. "Pretty early, huh?"
"Too early," Honda said.
Seto glared back at them. This was the worst time for it to snow. He had been looking for Mokuba, and thought maybe he had come here like usual. Instead, he found no Mokuba, just two members of the geek squad. And then the universe had the gall to start snowing, effectively shutting him in. If not for the Duel Disk in his suitcase, he would have gone right out into it to avoid being stuck with these two. But as it was, this wasn't his best suitcase, and the snow was certain to get through and damage the workings of the Duel Disk. The cold made the gears contract, too. Now he had to wait for the limo to come and pick him up, and if that slow line of traffic was any indication, it could be hours before it got here.
"Hey, Kaiba, you're not going to be able to get out through that," Honda called. "You can glare at it all you want, but you don't have laser vision."
"Thank you for pointing out the obvious," Seto snapped.
He sent Honda a glare for good measure, hoping that would stop him from bothering him. The spiky haired boy shrugged, and looked away. He glanced up at the clock.
"Damn. I was going to meet Jonouchi and Shizuka at the coffee shop," he said. "Hope they didn't get caught in the storm."
"Eh. They'll call if something's up," Otogi said. "Hey, Kaiba-san. You wanna play Dungeon Dice Monsters with us? It'll make the time go faster."
"No."
"Told you he'd say no," Honda said. "He's obstinate as a mule."
Seto scowled. To be compared to a mule by an ass like Honda was almost annoying enough to be embarrassing.
"Pick some dice, Honda."
"Don't rush me."
Seto folded his arms and continued to glare at the snow.
"How do you play this again? It's like Duel Monsters, right?"
"No, it's not. Duel Monsters don't have move spaces or changing abilities depending on the roll."
"...but we're battling with monsters...to get rid of life points. Same idea, right?"
"Comparing Dungeon Dice Monsters to Duel Monsters is like comparing Pokemon to Bakugan, now shut up and play!"
Seto closed his eyes with irritation. Then he whipped around and stomped over.
"Both of you are idiots," he said. "I'm going to beat both of you."
"Thought you didn't want to play," Honda said, grinning in the most irritating way.
"He probably just wants to show us up," Otogi said, laughing. "Challenge me at my own game, huh Duel Monsters nerd?"
"You're the only nerd I see. Get your dice; I'll destroy you," Seto said.
A/N: That was the most pointless oneshot I've ever written. Bleh. But hey, it snowed! :D It was gone the next day, and now we have super high winds instead...but it snowed! Snooooooow! And winter is coming (thumbs up to you if you get the reference). Next is Obscureshipping (Shadi x Ishizu). Ooh, I'm going to have some fun with this one. :) Also, the next chapter is the last "O" chapter. We'll move to the "N" chapters next!
