I don't own RWBY. RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth and was created by Monty Oum. I only own my OCs

"Is what I would say if I didn't have evidence against you. As well as me being stupid."

"Save your breath. It'll be useful for when you can convince people you need the money more."

"As leader of the White Fang's Vale cell, I accuse Jayden Taurus of accessory to desertion and betrayal! He is banished from the White Fang!"

"Now leave before I kill you!"

"Why have you come to me, Mr. Taurus?" Beacon Academy's headmaster asked

"You know why." Jayden answered harshly. Ozpin tsk'd at that response

"No, I actually don't. Why do think I've asked you that question in the first place." Ozpin said to Jayden, causing the person in question to snarl and glare at him

Ozpin sighed

"Listen, I wouldn't be questioning you if you just hadn't decided to leave the White Fang. We can't have any spies or threats to my students, now can we?" Ozpin asked rhetorically

"I. Didn't. Leave." Jayden said through gritted teeth

"Then, pray tell, what are you doing here, in this room, if you didn't leave?" Ozpin questioned Jayden

"That's not something I'm going tell you. Not in a million years." Jayden said as he crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair

"Well, you're not getting into my school unless you tell me. And the first semester doesn't start until 2 weeks from now. We'll have plenty of time, I assure you." Ozpin said as he too leaned back before taking a sip of his tea

"Then forget it. If you won't take me, guess I'll just roam the streets and stop crime myself." Jayden said as he sat up

"Even though Vigilantism is prohibited and against the law, right? Besides, I don't have any sway here except if I allowed you in my school. If you don't tell me when happened between you and the White Fang before these two weeks are up, you'll be put in a prison cell. Afterwards, you'll be sent to Atlas. There, you will be put into a maximum security prison because of your criminal background. So, for your sake, I suggest you tell me." Ozpin said as he leaned in towards Jayden's face

The two had an intense stare down. Jayden refused to let the headmaster of Beacon have what he wanted so easily

"If that's so, then why didn't Yang or Blake go through this?" Jayden asked with plenty of venom

"Bold of you to assume that. But I am not a person of discrimination. Ms. Xiao Long and Ms. Belladonna also had to do this. Only difference is they answered our questions honestly and respectfully. You still, technically, have yet to answer one, Mr. Taurus." Ozpin said in response

This caused Jayden to snarl and slam his hands on the metal table

"STOP WASTING MY TIME AND MAYBE I'D ACTUALLY GIVE A DAMN!!!" Jayden yelled out

The guards rushed in from outside to help Ozpin with Jayden if he'd gotten violent. Ozpin, however, put his hand up, signaling that he was not only okay, but also to not interfere, no matter what. The guards walked out with worried looks on their faces

"I can see you're very obviously in a bad mood, Mr. Taurus. If you want, I'll leave you alone so you can collect your thoughts and speak to me as if you weren't your brother. I need to check on how the progress with Mr. Grey is going anyway." Ozpin said as he stood up and walked towards the door

Jayden went still when Ozpin compared him to Adam. It was true, in a sense. Jayden was acting similarly to Adam in this situation. He was lashing out simply because he was angry at his brother, even though Beacon's headmaster obviously wasn't his brother. However, Adam would've been calling for blood by now while Jayden wasn't

"I do hope you see how beneficial my offer was, Mr. Taurus. I'd hate for all that talent to go to waste." Ozpin said before he opened the door and began to walk out

Jayden watched him leave as he hung his head in shame and sat in the grey room in silence

"I told you, that question I won't answer. Jayden has to answer that one." Lou said as he talked calmly to Glynda Goodwitch, Ozpin's assistant

"We cannot let you out of here until you answer that." Glynda replied

"I understand that, but between the two of us, he's the one that's more capable of answering it than I." Lou lied. He was just as capable, but Lou knew Adam's act of banishing them both was getting to Jayden a bit more than it was himself

Glynda said before the doorknob rattled and opened, allowing the headmaster himself to walk in. Lou had to admit, it was kinda hard to control his inner fangirl. After all, being a huntsman was the thing he wanted to do most before he found out about the White Fang

"Good evening, Mr. Grey." Ozpin greeted

"You know me?" Lou asked without thinking

"In a sense. As the headmaster of Beacon Academy, I can get access to a lot of records. Now that I look at it, 'you know of me?' would be more appropriate, would it now?" Ozpin asked

"I suppose. I just didn't think you'd walk in here and just say my name out of the blue. Though, I guess I should've seen that one coming. That's usually why I wasn't at most meetings besides my being a lieutenant." Lou conversed as if he were regular friends with Ozpin, who chuckled at Lou

"Indeed. Still though, I'd be glad to get you a class that can change that. However, you do have to answer the question that Glynda no doubt asked you earlier. I still don't understand why you don't answer it. From what I've been told, you were cooperative and answered every question. Well, except that one of course." Ozpin stated as he watched Lou with a trained eye

Lou shifted in his seat to get more comfortable

"That's because Jay needs to answer it." Lou stated himself

"And why's that?" Ozpin asked Lou

"Because he's the most capable." Lou responded immediately with a lie, not thinking

"But you both went through the same thing, did you not?" Ozpin asked rhetorically. Ozpin already knew, of course

'Fuck! I should've thought that through!' Lou thought before leaning forward to speak with his arms on the silver investigation table in front of him

"Yes. We did." Lou answered, triggering Ozpin's verbal trap

"Then, you both should be just as capable of answering it, should you not?" Ozpin questioned Lou, who mentally smirked when Ozpin sprung the question

"While that's true, you've no doubt seen what kind of mood Jay's in. I'm almost a hundred percent sure it comes from what happened. I don't wanna open it up to you because he needs to let go right now. And if he finds out you already knew without giving him the chance to talk about it, he'd probably wanna shove his foot up your ass." Lou said, which prompted a snarl and a glare from Glynda, who was in the corner of the room

"Language!" She shouted, obviously not impressed or happy with how Lou was conducting himself

The person in question smiled when Ozpin put his hand up, silencing Glynda

"Even so, it's better than staying in an Atlas prison, isn't it?" Ozpin asked with an intent that was rhetorical. However, Lou was still gonna answer with something unexpected

"Technically yes, but not for the reasons you think. Jayden was forced to work in the dust mines when he was little. Didn't even have his mom, only his brother. Sending him there is confining someone to death, be it Jay or a prison guard. I won't have that, but I won't let him wallow in sorrow and self-loathing either." Lou stated as he grew a determined face

A moment of silence passed. It was small, barely 30 seconds, but it felt like forever. Ozpin looked at Glynda and Glynda looked at Ozpin. They nodded to each other before both of their eyes were back on Lou, making him feel like he was being judged

"I understand. I'll tell the police you are to be cleared of all charges, Mr. Grey. As far as I'm concerned, that show of heart proves to me that at least you aren't apart of the White Fang anymore." Ozpin said as he stood up and walked towards the door. Glynda followed

"Now, I do have to go back and check on Mr. Taurus. If he does answer that question, he'll also be cleared of all charges and allowed to leave the same as you." Ozpin said before he turned the doorknob and opened the door

He left not long after

Ozpin sighed. Jayden Taurus was still being difficult, but now, instead of even interacting with Ozpin, he didn't even look at Ozpin. It was almost as if the headmaster hadn't walked in the room in the first place. Ozpin took of his glasses and placed them on the table before rubbing his eyes

He was tired. It was roughly 3am now. All night Ozpin had been interrogating the two. All night Ozpin had tried getting an answer from Jayden. All night was how long Ozpin was trying so desperately hard to get Jayden to cooperate with him. Ozpin grabbed his glasses and put them back on

"I don't know about you, Mr. Taurus, but I'm quite frankly tired of talking. I'm done trying to get something from you in exchange for access to my school. But, because I'm generous, I'll give you one last chance." Ozpin said, waiting for a reaction from Jayden, for which he got none

Ozpin shook his head, already knowing the answer to his yet asked question would be no

"Will you answer my question or no?" Ozpin asked as he leaned forward for any response

Jayden still refused to even to talk to him, much less acknowledging his presence in the room they were in

Ozpin sighed for what was hopefully the last time tonight

"Your silence speaks volumes, Mr. Taurus. If you ever change your mind, you can tell the police to contact me. Until then, however, Mr. Grey will be the only one from tonight to be attending my academy. Good night Mr. Taurus." Ozpin told Jayden before got out of the metal chair and walked over to the door

Right as he grabbed the doorknob, however, a question came from the person Ozpin had tried so hard to get something from

"Can I say something before I answer that question?" Jayden said as he looked at Ozpin's back

"Of course." Ozpin said as he turned around and sat back into the chair

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for yelling at you, being aggressive, even acting like my brother. That's not who I am as a person, but that side does linger at times. It's not as strong as I suspect my brother's to be, but it's still enough to make my vision turn red if I don't keep it in check." Jayden said to Ozpin, who nodded silently

"Anyway, like I said I'll tell you what happened." Jayden stated

"Then do tell." Ozpin replied simply

"My brother, I'm sure you're aware, has a temperamental attitude at best. But, he gets angry quickly. He can descend into rage in seconds. I believe my and others being there helped, but I can't be sure. Anyway, he found out that Yang had been talking to me about leaving the White Fang. Of course, I hadn't planned to leave or betray Adam in the slightest, but he has a slightly different meaning of the word betrayal. So, Adam questioned me, asked me questions about if I knew Blake and Yang would leave. Of course, I said no because I didn't want to him to think I was gonna leave to, but, as it would turn out, he already knew... you can guess where I'm going with this." Jayden finished

"He cast you out, didn't he?" Ozpin questioned, but he knew that already

"Yeah, he did. What I don't get is why Adam didn't just have me killed outright. Maybe he just thought I was too powerful and much of a hassle to execute. Or maybe he still had sympathy for me since I'm his brother. It's hard to tell." Jayden thought out loud

The room grew silent as there was not much to be said after that. Jayden didn't bother to count the seconds before someone talked again. He knew that it would only make the time longer

Ozpin yawned and checked what time it was. Lo and behold, it 4am. Ozpin took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes again before standing up

"Anyway, Mr. Taurus, it's been a long night and I'd like to get some sleep, even if it's only two hours. I suggest you do the same. After all, you start school tomorrow." Ozpin said, smirking as he started to walk out the door

"Wait, tomorrow? Also, where will I stay? Not really supposed to be in custody of the police, now am I?" Jayden asked before Ozpin had the chance to close the door

"You'll be staying at a hotel that has been sent to your scroll." Ozpin said, obviously tired of just talking

Jayden took a sharp inhale as he drew his head back with a pained expression on his face

"I kinda lost my scroll. It's kinda... out in the middle of Forever Fall forest." Jayden said sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck

"It's not with Adam, is it?" Ozpin asked with good reason

"No, it's not. But, it's definitely not in my pocket and hasn't been since the last mission I went on in the White Fang, which was today... would it technically be today if it's 4am?" Jayden asked no one after he answered Ozpin

Ozpin took out a piece of paper and a pen and handwrote the address for Jayden, who was still intent on answering his previous question himself

"Here's the address. And since you don't have a scroll, I should let you know you'll be provided one by the academy. However, it'll have surveillance apps on it to make sure you aren't doing anything you aren't supposed to. On that note, however, I don't think Ms. Goodwitch will notice of one school scroll went missing." Ozpin told Jayden as he handed the piece of paper to Jayden

"Thanks." Jayden said as he walked towards where the police kept his precious Bloom Scatter

Just ever so slightly was Jayden able to hear the facepalming that Ozpin did as he walked out with a sigh following afterwards

Jayden let out a soft growl as another person bumped into him. He was now on an airship headed to Beacon. He'd not only been lied to about the start of school, but he somehow forgot to reiterate on the question he'd asked about that last night. Still, Jayden supposed it could be worse. He could've just been locked up without any chance of getting free

Another person bumped into, who he glared daggers into, causing them to hurry away from Jayden and Lou

"C'mon Jay. They may be invading your private pla- space, but can you blame them?"

"Yes." Jayden answered Lou in a second as he brooded silently. Another person bumped into Jayden, causing him to growl more harshly

"Let me rephrase that. There isn't much open space here on the ship. I mean, look! It's packed! I know you don't like it, but people are gonna bump into and stay next to us." Lou said to Jayden as he continued to glare daggers at anyone who was close to them

"I suppose that's good logic. I'm not gonna accept it though." Jayden said as he continued to glare and growl

Well, that was before a shriek erupted throughout the airship. Jayden jumped almost to the broken moon at that

"Holy shi-." Jayden damn near shouted, but stopped before he fully cursed

"Aww, what's wrong? Getting scared?" Lou mocked Jayden, who punched Lou in the stomach to shut him up

"Say another word and I'll kick your ass so hard, you'll break the moon again." Jayden threatened as everyone around them stared at the two

"G-got it." Lou choked out as he tried not to cough as he sat on his knees

Jayden went to go look out the window until another scream erupted from around the same area the last one did

"I CAN'T BELIEVE MY LITTLE SISTER IS GOING TO BEACON! OH, THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!" A female voice that scratched the back of Jayden's mind rang out

Jayden growled and tried to ignore that, especially since it hurt his ears. But, they picked it back up and Jayden started moving before his mind could say no

"Jay! Where you going?" Lou asked as he got up from the floor

"Somewhere where I won't have to deal with that!"

The airship had finally reached Beacon Academy. Jayden couldn't have been more happy. Though he was acting like an asshole, which he was willing to admit to, he was somewhat excited. After all, he was gonna get to see Yang and Blake again

'But what about Adam?' His thoughts questioned him. He was still upset about that, but he was continuing in moving forward

Jayden knew he wouldn't get anything or anywhere if he was constantly angry at something. He still couldn't believe Adam had done what he did. Sure, Adam didn't like it when someone deserted him, but he should've at least kept Jayden around then, right?

A blonde man with blue eyes darker than Jayden's ran as fast as he could to the nearest trash can while holding his mouth and his stomach. As soon as he reached the bin, he started puking his guts out. Jayden grimaced as he watched. He had known faunus with motion sickness, but he hadn't really seen the effects before

Jayden walked up behind the man and started patting has back, helping him with his pain as much as he could. Jayden tried not to puke himself, but that proved hard. Especially since Jayden had an enhanced sense of smell

He almost thought it a god send when the man finally stopped puking. The blonde coughed for a second before looking at Jayden

"Hey, thanks man." The blonde said wearily from having puked so much

"You're welcome. Let's just get away from this trash can, yeah?" Jayden said as he walked away

The blonde followed not soon after. It was then that Jayden got a good look at Beacon Academy and, he had to say, pictures didn't do it justice. All around them, the green grass intermingled with colorful and beautiful flowers while the CCT and the main tower stood proudly in the sky, the green lights from the main tower seemingly sparking hope

"Woah..." The blonde trailed off in amazement

"Yeah, even I've gotta say it's breathtaking. Anyway, what's your name?" Jayden asked the blonde as he stopped gazing at the magnificent sight in front of them

"O-oh! My name's Jaune Arc. It's short, sweet, rolls off the tongue and the ladies love it!" The newly named Jaune exclaimed, almost proud

"Do they?" Jayden questioned that last part

"W-well, m-my mom says they will." Jaune stumbled over his words at the unexpected question

"Ah, you're a mama's boy. Got it." Jayden said as popped his neck

"Look man, I've never even had a girlfriend, okay?" Jaune told Jayden as he wanted Jay to like him

"Yeah, well, neither have I. At any rate, however, my name is Jayden Taurus. If you wish, you can call me Jay, Jayden, T, Taurus. I don't care really. As long as it's some variation of my name." Jayden said as he began walking towards where he thought they were supposed to go

"Aww, you name's so much better than mine. And I think I'll just stick with Jayden, at least till I know you better." Jaune said, following Jayden in the process

"Fair. It's nice to meet you Jaune."

"It's nice to meet you too, Jayden."

"What are you doing?! Do you know where you're going?!" A voice yelled, making both Jaune and Jayden jump in surprise

'Damnit, that's the second time today. I'll be damned if I let something startle me again.' Jayden thought as he watched the scene in front of him

"S-Sorry." A girl in a black combat skirt with a red cape and black boots with a red sole said. She kinda reminded Jayden of himself and Adam, except young and innocent

"Sorry?! You have any idea the damage you could've caused?!" A girl in white shouted. She looked oddly familiar to Jayden, but he couldn't remember where from

The girl in black and red grabbed one of the cases from the ground and lifted up to the girl in white

"Give me that!" The girl in white shouted as she grabbed the case from the other girl. She lifted up the lid and grabbed a bottle of red dust

'Wait, dust?' Jayden's thoughts questioned as another piece clicked in place to figuring out who she was

"This is Dust. Mined and purified from the Schnee quarry!" The girl in white said as she held the bottle in her hands

"Uhh..." The girl in red groaned out as she started to grow anxious

"Are you brain dead?! Dust! Lightning, Fire, Water, Energy!" The girl in white shouted again. The girl in red stood up and started breathing in and out sharply

"Are you even listening to me? Is any of this sinking in? What do you have to say for yourself?!" The girl in white shouted as she shook the bottle, causing more red dust to fly out

Jayden recognized this and turned to Jaune, shoving him down as Jayden dropped to floor. Sure enough, the girl in red sneezed, causing the area to explode

'Wait, she said Schnee quarry. In order to dust from there, you'd either have to be rich or you'd have to be-'

"Unbelievable! This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about!" Weiss yelled out at the girl in red

"How about you shut it and just go about your day, like you should've done in the first place." Jayden stepped in as he'd finally realized who he was talking too

"Excuse me?!" Weiss yelled at Jayden

"I didn't stutter."

"Do you know who you're talking too?!" Weiss yelled, getting in Jayden's face, or trying to considering the size difference

"Weiss Schnee, heiress to Schnee Dust Company. And I'll admit, your company has done good, but it does have questionable business partners, not to mention it's labor forces, which might as well be slaves." Jayden stated, causing Weiss to double back a bit

"Well-."

"Don't you 'well' me. The only reason you're still standing here, talking to me instead being in a fight to the death is because I believe that people can change, or aren't what they seem to be. Basically, what I'm saying is, you have a chance to prove you are not like your father. Don't waste it." Jayden stated after cutting her off and putting the dust bottle in her hands before shoving her away

Weiss looked surprised at first, causing the girl in red to snigger, but then gritted her teeth and turned in anger before walking away from them

"I promise I'll make this up to you!" The girl in red shouted to Weiss, who proceeded to ignore her

"Looks like I'm not the only one having a bad first day. So, what's your name?" The girl in red asked Jayden, who turned to her

"Jayden. Jayden Taurus." Jayden introduced himself as he stuck his hand out for a handshake

"Ruby. Ruby Rose. It's nice to meet you!" Ruby exclaimed to Jayden as she gladly took his hand

"It's nice to meet you too, Ruby." Jayden said as he smiled at her

"It's nice to meet me too, r-right?" Jaune said after he came up behind Jayden. Ruby's eyes sparked with familiarity

"Aren't you the guy who threw up?"

It took everything Jayden had to not burst out laughing at Jaune's sad face

"All I'm saying is motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!" Jaune argued with a childish tone

"I'm sorry, okay? Vomit boy was the first thing that came to mind." Ruby told Jaune

"Yeah, well what if I called you Crater-face!" Jaune retaliated

Meanwhile, Jayden was in the back having a field day trying not to die from laughter

"Hey, that explosion was an accident!" Ruby exclaimed at Jaune

"Well, the name's Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue, ladies love it." Jaune said to Ruby, even though she knew his name already

"... Do they?"

"They will. Well I- I hope they will. My mom always says that- uh nevermind." Jaune stuttered as he remembered what Jayden said

The walked in silence, allowing Jayden to collect himself before they slowed down

"Sooo, I got this thing!" Ruby exclaimed as she pulled out a scythe that almost cut Jayden's face off. He didn't react, however, as the tip crashed down between in feet

He only backed up because he wanted to

"Woah, is that a scythe?" Jaune asked

"It's also a high impact, customizable, sniper rifle." Ruby added on to Jaune's question

"A what?"

"A gun, Jaune, it's also a gun." Jayden said for Ruby as she smiled over at him

"So, what do you got?" Ruby asked Jaune

"Oh, I got this sword and this shield!" Jaune said as he unsheathed the sword and turned the sheath into a shield

"Ooo, what do they do?" Ruby asked as she pressed the shield, causing it to spiral out of control. Jaune managed to gain control before it fell on the ground though

"The shield gets smaller, so when I'm tired, I can put it away." Jaune said in a tone that seemed to question himself

"But it'd still weight the same. Just cause it's smaller doesn't mean the mass changes." Jayden said as he analyzed Jaune's weapon

"... Yeah, it does." Jaune said, seemingly dejected because of Ruby's cool weapon

"Well, I am a bit of a dork when it comes to weapons. I guess I did go a little over board designing Crescent Rose." Ruby stated, amazing Jaune

"Wait, you made that?" Jaune asked Ruby, who nodded

"Yep!"

"A lot of combat schools require that you make your own weapon. You didn't make yours Jaune?" Jayden asked him, which Jaune shook his head to

"No. It's a hand-me-down. My great-great grandfather used it to fight in the war." Jaune told Jayden and Ruby

"Well, sounds like an heirloom to me." Ruby said

"It explains why the mecha-shift feature is finicky. They just started developing that tech around time. Your great-great grandfather must've been very important to get a weapon like that." Jayden said to Jaune

"Yeah. Hey, you've never shown is your weapon." Jaune pointed out as he noticed Bloom Scatter on Jayden's hip

"Oh yeah, that's right." Jayden unhooked Bloom Scatter and laid a hand on Bloom's handle

"This, this is Bloom and Scatter." Jayden said as he unsheathed Bloom, revealing the dark red blade. Ruby's eyes practically light up at the sight of Jayden's weapon

"Bloom isn't really that special. It's like Jaune's sword. It can't mecha-shift into anything else. The only thing it should be noted for is it's extreme sharpness. But, Scatter on the other hand can not only blow Bloom at any enemy I aim it at, but also fire bullets." Jayden explained his weapons functions as he let Ruby and Jaune look at them

"Aww, not only do you have the cooler name, you also have the cooler weapon." Jaune said sadly as he examined Jayden's weapon

"Actually, the blowback feature is relatively old compared to today's mecha-shift weapons." Jayden said as he sheathed Bloom in Scatter and attached it back to his hip

"That doesn't mean it isn't cool."

"Can you show us the blowback feature?!" Ruby exclaimed with stars in her eyes

"No. You'll have to wait till initiation for that." Jayden stated as he started to walk forward. Ruby pouted silently and started to follow him, only to bump into him a second later

"Jayden?"

"By any chance, did you happen to know where we were headed?" Jayden asked Ruby and Jaune

"No, I was following Ruby." Jaune stated in response

"Well, I was following Jaune. Why were following us and not telling us where to go?" Ruby turned a question on Jayden

"Because I was to busy dying of laughter from your antics. Now, follow me."

Jayden had to admit, Ozpin's speech wasn't what he was expecting, but it was true. People may have only came to Beacon because they didn't know what they wanted. Or maybe they did know, but just didn't have the means or motivation.

Jayden liked to say he was different, but that also wasn't true. He was only here because this was where Blake and Yang went. He didn't know where else to go simply because he would've been cast out. So, safe to say he could be labeled as one of the 'wasted energy' as Ozpin so delicately put it

But, before doing anything about that, Jayden had to deal with the problem in front of him. And that was a sleeping Lou in their space. And while it was theirs, Lou was still on Jayden's sleeping bag

"Lou, get up." Jayden called out to Lou, who was still asleep. "Get up." Jayden ordered with a little more force, only for Lou to continue sleeping. "Get up!" Jayden shouted as he kicked Lou, which jolted him awake

"Ah! What was that for?" Lou asked

"For sleeping in my sleeping bag, now scoot over." Jayden said, causing Lou to scoot over to avoid another kick

Jayden laid down before getting out a book and starting to read it. However, he didn't get very far as his thoughts took over. Jayden couldn't help but wonder what the future had in store for him, as well as what Yang thought of him suddenly appearing here

'Well, I'll deal with it later if it doesn't happen now.' Jayden said in his mind

"So you are here." Jayden heard that same female voice that he had heard back in the airship

Jayden looked over to see Yang, standing above him with her arms crossed and an angry look etched into her face

'This might not be good.' Jayden thought has he stood up while putting his book down. After he fully stood up, he waved to Ruby, who was right next to Yang for reasons unknown to Jayden before staring directly into Yang's lilac eyes. "Indeed I am." Jayden replied

"So, what changed?" Yang asked calmly, but Jayden knew she was burning underneath. It was a surprise he hadn't been punched in the first place

"Nothing changed."

"Bullshit." Yang called him out

"I'm not joking, Yang. If I could've stayed, I would've. The reason I am here... well I'll tell you that later. Preferably when I am alone with you." Jayden told Yang, causing her to glare harder

"Whatever you have to say can be said in front of my litt-"

"Yang. I'm sure whatever he has to talk about can be private with you two. I haven't known him as long as you have." Ruby silently said to Yang. Jayden of course heard it because of his wolf ears

Yang took a deep breath and returned to glaring at Jayden

"Fine. We'll speak about it later." Yang said while walking away

As Jayden laid down, his only thought was 'I wonder how tomorrow will go. Not well, I imagine.'

Okay, something I wanna say is I originally planned for this to be around 10k words since I'm trying to get better at writing longer chapters, as well as faster. But, I've decided that I've been delaying this for far too long. If you're also a follower for Adam's Redemption, I'm gonna try the 10k words thing for that as well

Also, Vergil's battle theme for Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, Bury the Light, is fucking awesome. I love it

Anyway, that's all I have to say

Love y'all and see ya later!
