Well, you weren't the type to shy away from confrontation. And there was no point trying to play it off.
"I did enjoy visiting my old stomping grounds yes. It's degraded since I was there last, but nothing a little effort can't fix up," you shrugged and replied, "Some upstart is trying usurp my crown, but he's a bit of a clown from the looks of it, so it shouldn't be too hard to deal with him in time, but how did you learn of the digital world might I ask?"
Nene hummed, "A lot of that flew over my head, but I didn't know you had been to the digital world before, that's good to know," she said, "From what we knew, only the digidestined were humans that had been to the digital world."
"Close, before them, I did, two years before they did actually," you replied casually, "Before the mess they bumbled their way through, I saved and united the digital world when I was eight years old, and became their king, I got locked out though since then until recently."
Her eyes widened just slightly, "You did, did you?" she asked, leaning forward. It had the effect of showing off more of her considerably large cleavage to you, and a mighty fine pair it was. It would be incredibly distracting, if you were virgin soy boy, but the king was not so inept.
You would not be thrown off by some paltry cleavage. However nice a pair they were.
Women gradually flocked to your greatness and riches over the years. And the king must better than any else, whether that be in strength, appetite or even lust. No other human could compare to you.
"I did," you shrugged simply, "Now how about you answer my question? How do you know of the digital world?" you stepped forward, your muscular frame making her take a bit of a step back on instinct and you cornered her at the wall of the school gate, reaching out and placing your hand on the wall and leaning down to stare the voluptuous girl in the eyes.
"You're quite forceful aren't you?" Nene giggled lightly, an impish smile spreading across her face, "Well, I suppose it's obvious though? I learned of the digital world when Myotismon came to town, when I met my own partner digimon and got a digivice of my own." she reached into her white coat, and pulled out a familiar oval-square shaped device. The same make as your own before you modified it.
You merely raised an eyebrow at her, already knowing that it couldn't be as simple as having a digimon of her own. Unless she was suicidal that was, confronting someone like you on her own was the height of hubris, and she didn't strike you as the type.
"Not convincing enough?" she asked, when you just quirked her eyebrow at her she winked and reached into her pocket, pulling something out, "Well, it began with that, but if you really must know, I'm part of Dats, the Digital Accident Tactical Squad, we've been looking into you for a while now, ever since you released the Digimon World game and card series." the item she retrieved from her pocket to show you, looked like a police badge, except titled with the words 'D.A.T.S' at the top.
'Hoh?' your own eyes widened in surprise, before you smothered your reaction. Just from the name alone, and the fact that digimon were mentioned by her so insistently, you could gather the fact it was a human organization, made to counter digimon in some form.
"When the digimon reached our world five years ago, many who saw the digimon and met them, gained digivices and partners of our own," Nene continued, "Many of those initial partners, like my own, were digimon forced to work for Myotismon because they were too weak to oppose him. Dats, is a organization made to protect this world from powerful digimon that make their way to this world and cause trouble, a group collaboration between both human and digimon aiming for a peaceful coexistence."
Well as interesting as it was, it didn't pertain to you much, maybe before you found your way back to the digital world, but beyond that, you had much more important things to accomplish.
"And how does this involve me?" you asked, "I'd be grateful if you could get to the point, I've got important things to take care of."
"We like to keep track of most people who have digimon, just in case," Nene shrugged, "You're a special case. The amount of influence you wield in this world, means that we couldn't just recklessly approach you, but here at school, we're just schoolmates, so I can talk to you without the media printing stories about how you're bedding me or something, or your vast amount of secretarial staff waylaying us when we try to make an appointment to meet with you about business."
Smart of her, you'll give her that. "So why approach me and not the eight digidestined?" you asked, curious.
"Because as far as we're aware, they have no access to their digimon partners in the real world, so beyond some information, they can't really contribute much," she replied easily, and you withheld a smirk, seems they don't know that the digidestined can enter the digital world from any computer, "Besides, even with all the digimon we've recruited, even the oldest of them is scratching his head about just some of the things in the game you made, based on your own adventures I assume?"
"Yes, if you must know," you replied, "Chaosdramon and Metal Seadramon were my partner digimon."
This time, her eyes actually widened a bit in shock, "The two digimon only the guy at the top of the leaderboard of the online game has, that nobody else can seem to get anyway at all?" she asked.
"They were my partners, I wasn't going to let anybody else use them," you shrugged, none had the right to even use the two in a video game but you, "So is that it then, just looking for the information I have?"
"One of many things," Nene shrugged right back at you, the sass in her smile was very telling, "We're hoping to gain your support and backing more than anything else, cutie." she teased, reaching up to ruffle your hair.
"As in?" you asked, pressing for more answers.
The beautiful idol retracted her hand when you didn't react to her teasing, "Dats is government funded right now, but there's pressure from some higher ups to weaponise the digimon," she sighed, "They're wanting to forcefully recruit digivice holders from all over the world, and well, it's not too far to say global authority, without backing from someone with enough funds, Dats can't break away from the government, we're hoping beyond anything else, you'll become that backer."
That could be somewhat problematic. You preferred the digital world, but there were some luxuries of the human world you didn't want to give up. And if these fools somehow found a foot into the digital world? That would be a pain in the ass, the king couldn't allow filthy power hungering mongrels to trample over his garden.
Mongrels truly did not know how to watch their own steps. How in the world did a pitiful human run government think to control those with digimon partners? Any decent ultimate level digimon could destroy an entire city. Any with a digivice would be easily capable of reaching the champion level at least, and any decent champion could tear apart an army of a thousand humans, even supplied with war machines like tanks.
It would be pandemonium should their plans go through. It would pit digivice holder against digivice holder, and ruin the human world. The digital world was your true home, but the human world was your birth world, and like your vacation spot at this point. You had things in this world, that while not as important as those in the digital world, still belonged to you.
None could besmirch the kings property!
You ground your teeth in annoyance, "Very well, but I'll have my say in things if I have to do this, and should you end up in the digital world, your group recognises my rule and follows my commands," you told her, and as she went to open her mouth, you cut her off, "This is non negotiable, if it comes to it, I've got the digimon strength to crush all of Japan if I want. Relay that to your superiors first, then come back to me, and don't bother me again until you have their answer."
"Well it'll be a hard sell, but I'll let them know," Nene nodded, before pouting at you and crossing her arms under her substantial bust, "But not bother you until then? It'll take at least a week for them to think it over and discuss it, what if I want to hang out with you? I don't have any friends in school you know, everyone's to caught up in me being an idol."
"I won't be in the human world much over the next week," you said, "I've got a lot of things to take care of in the digital world." you wanted to get things set up quickly, then you wanted to find more of those dark towers for their data and maybe recruit some more digimon.
Nene blinked, and stepped forward, her breasts squishing up against your chest, it made for quite the sight when you looked down, against your chest, "The digital world huh? How about taking me with you? I've never been before." she asked excitedly.
"I'll think about it." you shrugged.
Nene sighed, shaking her head, "That's just code for no," she pouted again. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a phone, a Floatia Inc brand of course, "Here, gimme your number, and I'll give you mine, I'll call you in two days and then you can decide after thinking it over alright?"
"Fine, fine." you waved her off and exchanged numbers with the beautiful older girl.
"Thanks!" she stood up and pecked you on your cheek before stepping out of where you had her cornered, "Talk to you later!" she called cheerfully.
There was a definitive, enhanced sway to her hips as she walked away, hips rolling, and curvaceous rear spreading out the bottom of her dress like a shelf.
You watched her leave, eyes on her bodacious ass, and just as she turned the corner, she met your eyes, a knowing glint in her irises, and a cheeky wink was sent your way before she went out of view.
You touched the part of your cheek where she kissed, "Interesting." you smirked.
You stayed there for a second, before getting a move on and heading home. You needed to grab your stuff from home before you could get back to the digital world.
Returning home was a simple and quick affair after you parted ways with Nene. You just had to find a wide open and quiet alleyway out of the way, and release Airdramon from your digivice. From there, a quick portal, and you were home instantly.
You wasted little time. With Ogremon's muscle, it was easy enough to get two of your supercomputers all pulled out. He was a bit in awe of the luxuriousness of your home, as were the other digimon with him you recruited earlier.
You promised to let him enjoy it all to his heart's content later. You'd made sure to get a big enough place for them to be out and about on the grounds. It was closed off by large walls, and the jamming frequency you had going on, made sure nobody could get even a drone in, and satellite footage couldn't be picked up from the area.
You made sure it was as safe as possible for Wizardmon and Airdramon to relax at home in peace.
You sent Wizardmon off to grab a massive bunch of food from the kitchen storage while you and Ogremon dealt with the supercomputers. You decided only to bring two of them with you, since you;d be returning at some point, and without at least one of them, your enjoyment factor would go down massively.
From there, you stowed them within the holding space of your digivice. And you just had to marvel again at how convenient the digivice was. If only you didn't need a terminal like the digivice to access it, there was so much you could do with something like that if you had the freedom to call upon it with a thought.
And in less than an hour, you were using a spare laptop within the massive, beautiful mansion of a house, to return to the digital world.
When you returned to the top of the rocky plateau, the outside walls of your castle was almost complete. It was coming along nicely.
You didn't stick around long. There was nothing really you could do at the moment until you decided what you were going to do beyond build your castle.
So you decided instead, to have a little venture through the digital world. You really wanted to get started on finding more and more of those towers.
Ogremon was a fountain of information, since he'd travelled a lot during his training. And told you of an area of interest not far away. The Dino Region, a decently large area that was home to quite a few dinosaur species digimon, mostly of the Tyrannomon and Monochromon variety.
No doubt the Digimon Emperor went for such a place quickly. Dinosaur digimon were a lot like dragon digimon, in that they were a race of digimon specifically geared towards combat above all else.
So, it wasn't long before you were on the back of Airdramon, and following Ogremon's directions towards the Dino Region.
It didn't take you long to get there at all, not with how fast Airdramon could casually fly. He was faster than a speeding jet after all at a casual pace.
The Dino Region was quite the cast area from what you could see. It was like a barren area in the middle, full of rocky plains, but was surrounded by a massive circular dense forest that encircled it entirely.
'Three of them, huh?' you mused. Airdramon made his way to the centre of the area, overlooking from above, and you could make out three of those dark towers, set up in a triangle formation around the area. Probably because of the sheer size of the area. The dark towers control frequency weakened with range after all.
And just already, you could make out quite a few digimon with how open the inner area was. Tyrannomon and Monochromon, species you were very familiar with, the third species in the area were a bunch of Tuskmon. You'd seen one when Myotismon came to the human world, but hadn't got to examine it up close. You were quite excited at the prospect really, an evolution of digimon, centered around the Greymon line you were sure. You'd found bipedal dinosaur digimon were species that evolved in different ways and mutated from Greymon.
Tyrannomon for instance, came from Agumon initially, who lived in volcano regions, and mutated to become a species very similar to Greymon, but with a higher resistance to and control of the fire element, though in the process they gave up some of the raw physical prowess the Greymon line generally held.
Monochromon were different in the fact that they generally digivolved from Gotsumon, a line of digimon that were geared towards raw physical durability and defence.
In total, there were six Tyrannomon, five Tuskmon and four Monochromon.
You were just about to release your digimon and take care of the towers and free them, when something caught your eye. At the edge of one of the forests, out of the way of the digimon near the centre, was...a vending machine?
Despite yourself, a smile spread across your face, 'Those are still about huh?' you mused in nostalgic fondness. There were tons of them back when you first came to the digital world.
They tended to always have snacks from the real world within them. They were reflections of the human world, that naturally formed in the digital world, and spread about everywhere back in the day. You'd never found out why vending machines specifically. The most you could figure out back then, was that many digimon weren't able to acquire food with how manic and violent things were back then. And the digital world itself, evolved in a way, used the data of them from the real world, to spread them about for the digimon. They were spread around a lot, and were easy to get food from, while at the same time keeping the food that naturally spawned within, safe.
You'd had a little adventure back then, when you got sick of constant meat and vegetables, travelling around to all the different vending machines and stocking up on different snacks from them. You and your partners loved to chow down on them in the small periods of relaxation time you had.
Anyway, again, shameless Pa-atreon plug. I've got one, go by the same username on there, easy to find and all that jazz. Support me if you want, it'd be swell, but don't feel pressured lads and ladies, I'll be uploading my stuff outside it regardless and not keeping it all behind a paywall or anything like that.
