A few days have passed after Leizcio watched the news report on his alter ego's 'death'. During those days, he's been getting sensations in his legs and feet, giving him hope that he'll be back to school in time to make the finals.

That was another issue as well. While he was pretty well-rounded in most of his academics, he would usually be able to use his speed to understand a problem quickly but with that gone, he spent more time than he would like. It was a month before finals and he was doing his best to keep up with his studies.

Downstairs in the cafe, he was reading through Tsuyu's notes that she had given to him for the day. Despite how clean the frog girl's handwriting was, the concept on paper seemed like gibberish to Leizcio. He continued to scribble and erase the problem he was working on as the answers he got continued to be wrong. He took a moment to pinch the bridge of his nose as he tried to think of a way he hadn't tackled the problem.

"If you move the fraction over here instead, it should give you the right answer." A voice said as a pencil pointed to the equations on Leizcio's paper. Leizcio who was stunned, quickly turned around to see who it was.

"Agh! Hi Yaoyorozu!" Leizcio said, surprised by his friend's sudden arrival.

"Hi Esperanza. How're you feeling so far?" Yaoyorozu asked as she sat across from him, seeing him quickly catch on to what she showed him. There were small mumbles here and there as he managed to get the problem solved, letting out a small sigh of relief when he did it.

"I've been doing fine. Just, y'know, healing up. It's taking a while though..." Leizcio said, looking down at his legs.

"That's good to hear. Recovery isn't always fast but it's good that you're already making progress." Yaoyorozu said as she pulled out her own notebook as well.

"Oh! I forgot to ask, did you want something to drink?" Leizcio asked, the host in him showing through.

"I'll be fine, but thank you."

There was a small silence between the two that was flooded over with the chatter of everyone else in the cafe. Deciding to break the silence between the two, Yaoyorozu asks Leizcio,

"Can I see your arm Esperanza?"

"I'm sorry what?"

"Remember the day before internships? When you had a bandage coming out of your sleeve?"

Leizcio began to recall the situation. He remembered how he had barely gotten through that day and how Yaoyorozu had tried to understand what was going on with him, just for him to brush her off. Deciding to comply, he rolled up the sleeve of his sweater, showing it to Momo. Upon looking at it, she felt more at ease that nothing happened to it.

"I'm glad that nothing happened there. It had me worried when you were in that state."

"Thanks..."

Leizcio felt a bit better knowing that he cleared that up, but there was still something that needed to be brought up. At least not for him.

Yaoyorozu was glad that nothing bad happened to him there... But she couldn't keep her eyes off of the scar that Leizcio had on his left eye. Having something like that so suddenly, it would only make sense that people kept asking Leizcio what happened with the scar or just looking at it judgmentally. She tried to avoid the topic to respect Leizcio and his privacy.

"Hey Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes Esperanza?"

"You can ask..."

Yaoyorozu looked at him in slight confusion, not understanding what he meant. Leizcio also realized that what he said was really random and quickly corrected himself.

" About the eye I mean! Thanks for being respectful about it, but I don't mind."

As much as she had tried to hide it, Leizcio ended up noticing...

But at least she got the go-ahead from Leizcio and decided to ask him.

"Sorry, but did this happen from your training as well? Aizawa didn't tell us much other than your condition from an incident with your quirk. But something tells me it wasn't just that."

Leizcio felt a bit worried, wondering what Yaoyorozu was implying. He decided to run with the usual alibi that Blink told him to use.

"Uhm, well... It was a mix of the two. You know my energy can be a bit self-destructive so when I was using it for a new ability... That... Well yeah, it messed me up bad."

"I'm sorry about that. I know it was mostly from your quirk but..."

"But...?"

"Esperanza, I know you weren't... in the right state of mind but I don't think you could see how much overtraining could affect you until it got to you."

Leizcio had no response but in his own mind, he admitted to it. He did overdo it. It's one thing coming from Blink who was a mentor. Getting told that by a friend only made him realize how he was going off the deep end.

"Actually... Have you heard about what happened to Blur?" Yaoyorozu asked, immediately breaking Leizcio out of his own thoughts. He got a bit nervous but kept a calm demeanor as best he could.

"Yeah, I ended up seeing it on the news a few days ago. I looked up to them but now they're just... gone..."

"It is sad, even I was getting invested in what they did. But they also were getting more reckless with what they were doing."

Now the panic was starting to set in for Leizcio but he did his best to stay calm.

"What do you mean?"

"Well seeing video scraps of him, you could tell he was getting slower, he could barely even be a 'blur'. He was practically running himself into the ground."

Leizcio's heart started to beat faster. He hasn't felt such levels of nervousness in just what should be casual talk between two friends.

"Y-yeah. Haven't been keeping on them before what happened..."

Leizcio's nervousness was starting to crack a bit and show. Something that Yaoyorozu was paying attention to. Leizcio was shifting his eyes all over the place and his breathing was the slightest bit heavier. Talking about this only made him more uncomfortable so she decided to try and change the topic.

"Can I tell you something Esperanza?"

Leizcio's heartbeat was skyrocketing but he couldn't say no. Doing that would only make him drop his act.

"S-sure!"

"When you were not yourself before internships, you had a lot of us worried. It was a bit stressful not knowing what was happening but you at least know that now right?"

Leizcio's heartbeat started going down as he started to slightly calm down and was able to focus on her a bit more now. He just nodded at what she said, letting her continue.

"It's refreshing now though, seeing you get better and back to who you were before. But please take better care of yourself. You have us to help if you need it. Just... make sure that you're doing things the right way and not being careless about yourself... okay?"

"Yeah... Thanks Yaoyorozu. I- I'll do what I can." Leizcio said feeling a bit more relaxed now.

"Of course Esperanza. Now... you want some help with the notes from today?"

Leizcio completely forgot about the mess of papers he had in front of them. Seeing as how he was barely halfway through his notes, he knows that he needs that help.

"Yes please! I still don't understand some of these concepts!"

As the two began to study, Leizcio saw that enthusiastic side of Yaoyorou come out yet again. She helped with problems he didn't understand and made them look easy. When it was Leizcio's time to apply what Yaoyorozu taught him, he was able to solve problems thrown at him with ease. The two had a productive study session, treating themselves to the cafe's treats and teas.

"Wait a minute it's already getting dark out?" Leizcio pointed out, looking outside the windows.

"I guess we lost track of time! We did make a lot of progress though!" Yaoyorozu said as she put down the marker for a whiteboard she created sometime during their study session.

The two looked down at the table in front of them. Pieces of paper completely filled to the brim with notes and equations, a few plates with the crumbs of pastries, and several empty cups of tea. As if on cue, they heard the last person other than them leave the cafe.

"Gotta say... I think we just studied a whole week's worth of content in just a few hours?" Leizcio said, questioning himself as it began to sink in how much work they did.

"Ah! Sorry! Guess I got a bit carried away!" Yaoyorozu said, looking a bit distraught.

"Don't worry about it, I don't think I would've been able to get this much down if you didn't help!" Leizcio reassured, in which another thought came to mind.

"You already have a ride home right?"

"I already texted my chauffeur so I'll just have to wait a bit. Thanks though!"

'Sometimes I forget that she's rich...' Leizcio thought to himself.

While Yaoyorozu's ride was on its way, the two began to clean the table they occupied. Leizcio tried to do most of it by himself but Yaoyorozu would do some of the things he was going to do.

"You know you don't have to help right?" Leizcio said as he wheeled himself over to the sink with plates in his lap.

"I know, but I can't exactly let you do it alone now can I?" Yaoyorozu said back, suddenly pushing Leizcio's wheelchair with one hand as she carried some teacups in her free hand.

Didn't take long for Yaoyorozu's chauffeur to text that he was getting close to the cafe after they cleaned their table. She began to pack her things and left Leizcio with the small whiteboard she made.

"Hey Yaoyorozu?"

"Yes Esperanza?"

"I just... well... wanted to say thank you for today. With what you said and of course, the studying. Both helped a lot."

"Of course Esperanza, if you need help, just remember that you've got friends here for you if you need it okay?"

"Of course!"

A honk was suddenly heard outside as it was that limo from before again. The two waved to each other as she left. As Esperanza started to wheel back inside, he decided to clean the other tables since Hisako and Lavania still hadn't come back home yet, making him slightly concerned.

"Hey Leizcio! You can leave that to us."

Turning around, it was Lavania and Hisako coming through the door. The two had some bags in their hands.

"Where were you guys? I haven't seen you both since morning?" Esperanza asked the two as he remained where he was.

"Sorry, we had to go deal with some more papers for the cafe and ended up buying some new things for the cafe. Everything okay right now though Leizcio?" Lavania said as she locked the cafe entrance while Hisako used her quirk to put the bags upstairs.

"Yeah, everything was fine. Now... what's up with that?" Leizcio pointed to what seemed to be a sewing machine."

"O-oh! Don't worry about that!" Lavania quickly said as she ran up the stairs to quickly move the bags from the top of the stairway where Hisako left them. For a second Leizcio could've sworn she moved as fast as him trying to conceal those bags.

"Ready to try again Leizcio?" Hisako asked as she made a construct pointing to his legs.

"Yes please."

Hisako lifted Leizcio with her quirk and started to remake the constructs around his legs again. Once they were ready, Hisako made Leizcio move his legs. The stairs were in front of him and he started to feel a bit of anxiety.

"Don't worry, I got you this time." Hisako said with an encouraging face. Well... more so a face that barely showed it but she was trying her best and for Leizcio he would have to hope that it would be enough.

Each step that Hisako helped Leizcio take, he slowly let go of his worries about it until he felt comfortable. Hisako helped him up until he was on the couch which she slowly let him down until he practically sat down, deactivating her quirk.

"Thank you Hisako, you're getting better at this!"

"Thanks. Hopefully it takes less time now."

While the leg constructs helped Leizcio, it helped Hisako make her constructs more complicated without having to put as much thought or heavy concentration into them. Hisako went back and got Leizcio's wheelchair back with her quirk and put Lei back into it wheeling him into his room.

"You sure you want to sleep early?"

"Yeah, just feeling a bit tired is all."

Hisako respected his request and laid him down on his bed, leaving the room and closing the door. Leizcio's tiredness was starting to get to him as his quirk was still healing him and acquiring a lot of new knowledge so quickly.

As he fell asleep, there was one thought that sat in the back of his mind...

'Does she know?'
