As we were looking around, we saw Himiko and Angie examining something. "What are you two looking at?"

"It's most certainly interesting!" Angie cheered as she picked it up and showed me. "Look at this. I found it near Miu's body! This will most certainly become crucial evidence. So says Atua."

"...Angie, that's a small piece of fabric." I deadpanned.

"Nyahaha! That's right! A small, torn piece of purple fabric. It feels like it's made of cotton and polyester. I can tell since I've worked with material like this for some of my art. That means it must be from some kind of clothing." Angie told me. "It must be clothing the culprit left behind! So it must be important evidence like I said!" I took another look at the torn piece of fabric and got a sinking feeling. Why do I have a bad feeling about this?

Truth Bullet Obtained: Torn Piece of Fabric

"Have you two found anything else?" Rantaro asked.

"Nyeeeh...not really. This place is full of strange junk. It's hard to tell if any of it is related or not." Himiko sighed. "Not to mention I'm tired from yesterday, and that's making it harder for me to focus."

"Are you talking about the Insect Meet and Greet?" I asked.

"Yeah. We were trapped inside Gonta's lab for hours until you and Kokichi got back. And then after that, it was already nighttime, so Angie and I couldn't finish setting things up for the magic show. We had to get up early to finish in time."

"Sorry about that again." I apologized.

"Nyeeeh...I don't really care about it anymore." Himiko said before entering a praying position. "Atua always forgives others, so I must too."

"Right…" I said nervously. "But the Insect Meet and Greet...it might end up being important later on. Perhaps we should make note of who was there."

"Well I remember that when Himiko and I were brought in by Gonta that Kaede, Shuichi, Kaito, Keebo, Kiyo, and Tenko were already in there, along with you, Ryoma, and Kokichi of course." Angie told me.

"Then you, Kokichi, and Ryoma left us alone with Gonta, leaving us to suffer with his thousands of bugs…" Himiko said with a distraught expression.

"...Sorry about that again." I once again apologized.

"I'm starting to be really happy I stayed in my room during this time." Rantaro laughed a bit.

"So what were you three doing while you were gone?" Angie asked me. "Kokichi said it was to steal our motive videos, but with three people, it should have been quicker than that."

"Oh, well, we did run into Rantaro during our search for the videos." I admitted. "Rantaro then joined us, and we watched a few videos after we had gotten them all."

"You watched some of them?" Himiko asked.

"Yeah, but only Rantaro's, Ryoma's, and Kokichi's." I explained. "After that, Ryoma left and Rantaro followed after him. That's when Kokichi and I returned."

"And that's when you were forced into your own Insect Meet and Greet. Nyahaha! What divine punishment!" Angie exclaimed.

"Yeah...we were stuck in there until 7:30 a.m…" I told them.

"Wh-What!?" Himiko exclaimed in fear, giving me an expression of pure pity.

"Now I'm really glad I wasn't there." Rantaro laughed again. "But I suppose we should keep these alibis in mind. It might be handy."

Truth Bullet Obtained: Insect Meet and Greet

"Hmm, we should keep looking around some more. We should gather more information from people and see if there's anything else in here that's a clue." I stated.

"We shall do the same. May Atua bless us in our investigation." Angie prayed.

"May Atua bless us in our investigation." Himiko repeated.

"..." I then sighed as I put my hands in the same prayer pose as those two. "At this point, I think some kind of religious faith might be good for us, so… May Atua bless us in our investigation." My prayer seemed to make Angie really happy as she seemed to start beaming with happiness. After that, me and Rantaro left those two and moved over to where Tenko was. "Tenko, have you found anything?"

"No, not yet." Tenko admitted. "But I have been asking people when was the last time they saw Miu."

"Really? What do you have so far?" Rantaro asked.

"Gonta was the last to see her alive from what I've found out so far. He said he saw her at around 8 p.m."

"That checks out. I saw her and spoke with her until around 7:30 p.m. so Gonta's statement should be reliable." I told her.

"I thought as much, though part of his testimony is strange, even for a degenerate male."

"What's wrong with it?" Rantaro asked.

"Gonta said something about trying to catch Miu but she used her 'secret woman weapon' and chased him away! What does that mean? And his face got all red when explaining it to. It makes me think that he's just having some lewd fantasy play in his head." Tenko said with a disappointed scowl.

"Umm...I'm not so sure he made it up." I sighed. "But that aside, I'm glad you got this information. It'll help out a lot."

Truth Bullet Obtained: Witnessing Miu

"By the way, Tenko. Are you investigating on your own? I don't see anyone else with you." Rantaro asked her. Tenko immediately grimaced in response.

"As much as I hate it, yes I am with someone. However, I'm staying a safe distance away from a degenerate male!" Tenko told us.

"Oh, I suppose if Kaede is with Maki and Himiko is with Angie, then you would be the only girl left." Rantaro said.

"So who is it?" Tenko pointed to her right with her usual 'degenerate males are horrible' glare when I asked the question. Following her gaze led to my eyes landing on a little white and purple supreme leader. "Kokichi? Really?"

"Someone needs to make sure he doesn't cause anymore trouble! Yesterday proved that he's a degenerate among degenerates by organizing that insect meet and greet to steal our videos!"

"Y-Yeah...degenerates among degenerates." I said in a slight pained groan.

"O-Oh! I-I'm only talking about Kokichi, not you or anyone else." Tenko clarified quickly with an apologetic expression. "You, Gonta, and Ryoma might be males, but you aren't on the same level of degeneracy as him. Gonta was tricked into it and Ryoma was blackmailed into it. And you seemed apologetic for tricking Kaito and leaving us in Gonta's lab, while Kokichi seemed to revel in it. That's why he's horrible, as expected from a male. I don't care what his reasons were!"

"R-Right…" I replied, not feeling much better. "I suppose we should go speak with Kokichi as well."

"Be careful if you do. You never know what that lying scoundrel will do."

"Thanks for the warning. Will do." I thanked Tenko as we moved over to Kokichi.

"Ah Rinny! Here to ask me about something?" Kokichi asked me.

"Obviously. I was wondering if you found anything."

"Not really. There are just too many machines here. It's hard to tell what's relevant or not. I know that the rope Miu was hanging from had to have come from the warehouse."

"I figured as much. That place is just a hotspot for criminal goods. I'm starting to think I should have asked Miu to make a lock for that room too." I sighed. "You went to the warehouse yesterday to gather supplies for the screening party, right? Did you see anyone there?"

"Only Himiko and Angie, who were gathering things for the magic show. I wasn't there for long." Kokichi then made a grandiose pose and smiled wickedly. "Of course, that's because I'm the one who brought the rope and hung Miu up!"

"Right, so you didn't see a possible suspect." I stated.

"You're no fun. Anyone else would have been 'whaaaat' and stuff." Kokichi sighed with a bored look. "And I actually do have a possible suspect. Two actually."

"Really? Even though you didn't see anything in the warehouse?" Rantaro asked.

"I don't need to see anything in the warehouse. Not when I know who was more likely to kill someone." Kokichi explained.

"You're talking about the motive videos, right?" I asked.

"Yep. I still have that list, so you can take a look if you've forgotten about it." Kokichi took out the sheet of paper he wrote on and handed it to me and Rantaro. "As you can see, the people we should be suspicious of are Shuichi and Tenko. They're the only ones who got their own video, meaning they had the strongest motive to kill."

"But Shuichi and Tenko? I don't see those two killing someone else." Rantaro commented.

"...We should investigate further. If one of them is the culprit, it'll be hard to prove." I stated.

"Oh? It sounds like Rinny has started suspecting those two." Kokichi laughed.

"Only because I have too." I clarified. Still, he has a point. Those two have to be suspects until we either prove them innocent or we find another person to suspect. And judging by how this case is going so far, it will all fall to the alibis and the time of death to determine that. If the crime happened when they were trapped in Gonta's lab, then they have to be innocent. Urg...why does this have to be so complicated? The last case wasn't this complex, though I suppose that was because I kind of planned everything out for that case. I suppose I just have to work hard this time.

Truth Bullet Obtained: Kokichi's Account

Truth Bullet Obtained: Motive Video List

"Rin, any ideas as to who the culprit is?" Rantaro asked me.

"No. There's not a lot of information pertaining to the actual culprit so far. No damning piece of evidence, anyway." I then gave a heavy sigh. "It's mainly due to the lack of a time of death. Whenever I think of a possibility of a suspect, it gets destroyed because in some windows of time the murder might have occured, they have an alibi. Like with Tenko and Shuichi. If the crime happened during the Insect Meet and Greet, then despite them being suspects, they would be in the clear."

"Then I suppose we should ask the last person who we don't have an alibi for to see if he's the same." Rantaro said as he turned to where Ryoma and Gonta were. "Hey, Ryoma. Can you give us your alibi for yesterday and this morning?" He asked as we walked over.

"Sure. I don't see why not. Don't expect much though. It's not great." Ryoma told us. "I was alone for most of the day, including when I was looking for someone to bring to the Meet and Greet. At around 8:10, I was lucky to find Kiyo leaving his room when I entered the dorms. He saw me and walked over to make small talk, and that's when I convinced him to follow me to Gonta's research lab. You then know I was with Rin, Kokichi, and later you until we finished watching our videos."

"That's when we had our little chat. It lasted a few minutes until we both returned to our rooms." Rantaro added.

"Yep. I haven't left my room since then." Ryoma finished.

Truth Bullet Obtained: Ryoma's Account

"So you don't have an alibi for this morning." I commented.

"Nope. But I didn't kill Miu. Not that I have any proof to convince you." Ryoma sighed.

"Oh, no. I'm not doubting you. I don't have any evidence for that." I then put my fingers on my chin as a thought came to mind. "So what did you and Rantaro even talk about last night? Did you work things out about...what happened?" I asked nervously.

"Hmph. I still have a ways to go." Ryoma sighed. "You guys were right. It's my own fault for relying on the motive video to give me reason to live. It was stupid. Still, it doesn't change the fact that I don't have anything waiting for me outside this place. I have no loved ones or even a future. Outside this prison is just another cell I'll be thrown back in."

"Ryoma…"

"But why should I let that hold me back?" Ryoma then said, taking his candy cigarette out of his mouth. "You and Rantaro are right. Maybe I can still find something to live for. Maybe even let you all be that reason." Ryoma then gave a small smile as he turned his back to us. "It's like Kaede said during our first day here. Let's get out of here and become friends. That sounds nice." With that, he went off and continued investigating with Gonta. I found a new smile forming on my face from hearing what he said.

"I'm glad. He seems more content than before." I turned to Rantaro and gave him a thankful smile. "Thank you, Rantaro. For helping him, I mean."

"It's not a big deal, really. He's my friend too, so it's only natural that I help him." Rantaro replied. My smile then wavered when I thought more about Ryoma's words and the memories they reminded me of.

"But...that promise. Three of us are dead now. Kirumi, Tsumugi, and Miu. Soon a fourth person will die, or maybe all of us will get punished. Can we...really keep that promise still?"

"...It may be hard. We've lost people and we'll never get them back. But we can't give up. If we do, they would have died for nothing. We need to escape for our sake and theirs." Rantaro told me.

"...Yeah. You're right." I said softly. "We...can't give up. Not yet, at least." I took a deep breath before looking around the Lab again. "Where should we investigate now? I think we got everything we could from everyone here, as well as found as many clues as we could here."

"Shuichi and Kaito are investigating Miu's room too. I can't think of anywhere else we could check out." Rantaro agreed.

"Hmm…" I kept looking around, but then I noticed Keebo and Kiyo looking at something together. "Hey, Keebo, Kiyo. What's that?"

"I'm not sure. We just found this fallen over near Miu's work table." Keebo explained.

"It looks like a monitor or tablet that shows a small map of the academy." Kiyo told us. "Though, it is unlike the one our Monopads have."

"Really?" Rantaro asked as he looked at the device. "Hmm...it's not like my other map either…" Rantaro muttered in a whisper only I could hear.

"What's that dot?" I asked, pointing at the map. "From the looks of it, it seems it's tracking something that's on the fourth floor."

"I don't know. The only thing the device is showing is the phrase 'signal received'." Keebo said. I hummed in curiosity before I firmly nodded.

"Rantaro, we should look around the fourth floor. Maybe we'll find whatever is sending out the signal this thing is receiving."

"Sounds good." Rantaro nodded.

"We'll keep an eye on this thing in case something happens." Keebo told us.

"Good luck in your search. May whatever you find help us in our quest to survive." Kiyo added. With that, me and Rantaro left the research lab and headed up to the creepy fourth floor. We spread out and began searching for whatever this signal is coming from, starting from Angie's lab, before splitting up to cover Kiyo's lab and the three empty rooms. And, within one of the empty rooms, we found something.

"Hey Rin, these floorboards aren't nailed down, right?" Rantaro asked.

"No, I don't think so. Kaede, Shuichi, and I investigated these rooms when this area opened up, and I think we made note of that before as well. They're just resting on cross pieces. Luckily, they're pretty thick and they leave no gaps." I told him.

"Even so, maybe…" Rantaro then began to take a few of the floorboards off of the cross pieces and looked in the area beneath the floor. "Rin, can you grab one of those candles?"

"Sure." I told him as I did as he asked and brought the candle down so we could see clearly. And as luck would have it, we found it. "Look! There's something under here!"

"I thought so. I've seen stuff like this during a few of my trips." Rantaro said as he moved more floorboards out of the way so we could make our way down. After safely moving to the crawl space, we began looking at the things we found. "Well, we found the thing that was emitting that signal." Rantaro said as he picked up a tiny pin-looking device. It was small, but it had a light on it that was turning on and off in intervals.

"Wait a minute… That's the 'contingency plan' Miu made." I pointed out.

"It does look like the drawing on the blueprint." Rantaro nodded. "It has a little button on it. If you click it…" Rantaro then clicked the button, and the lights on the pin stopped flashing. "The signal seems to stop. And if you click it again…" Rantaro once again clicked the button, causing the lights to start flashing again. "So this invention sends out signals to another device in Miu's lab that gives her the location of the signal. I wonder what she was going to use this for."

"The blueprints stated this was just an alpha version. More were supposed to be made and handed out." I noted.

"Was she going to hand these out to all of us, or was this for something else?"

"..." I couldn't help but get a sinking feeling about this invention of Miu's. These devices send out signals to one of Miu's devices when the button is pressed, letting whoever has the device know where the pin is. If she was going to hand these out to everyone, then...the name 'contingency plan' makes a lot more sense. But then that leads to another question: why was this thing under the floor?

Truth Bullet Updated: Miu's Contingency Plan

"Then there's this thing that's strange." Rantaro said as he pointed to a broken device that was also under the floor. It had been completely destroyed, however…

"Judging by the shape of it, it sort of looks like a toy ray gun. There's a barrel here and a handle of a gun." I pointed out.

"But it's definitely not like any gun I've ever seen." Rantaro said.

"Right. There's not even a magazine or cartridge for bullets, so I don't think it was a weapon." I then noticed something glimmering in the candle light. I picked up the broken device and examined it closely. "Hmm...that's strange."

"What is it?"

"Look at the barrel of the gun. It's that same glitter-like stuff that was on Miu's hands."

"Really? Then that stuff was shot out of this thing? But why? What does it do?"

"Not sure. Maybe it's one of Miu's inventions." I replied. "The question is which one."

Truth Bullet Obtained: Broken Device

"There's a bit more here. Look." I said as I pointed to the last two items that were under here. "A hook, and a pile of ash." Rantaro then picked up the hook, which was only the size of his hand and had a smaller clamp for it to be attached to something.

"Look at the hook. It has that sparkling stuff on it as well. In fact, it's completely coated in it. Miu's hands don't even compare." Rantaro noted.

"Yeah. but other than that strange substance, the hook looks pretty new. It probably came from the warehouse, like most other weapons here." I sighed. "And then there's this pile of ash. Completely burnt, whatever it was."

"Hmm?" Rantaro made a sound of curiosity as he dug through the small pile of ash."Looks like not all of it was burnt away." He then pulled out of the ash a small, white piece of cloth. "This small piece remained."

"A piece of cloth? And a tiny one at that. What...is this? It's so small and thin. It's not even that wide. Is it a part of clothing, or a rag? No...I can't be. It's too small..." I questioned, a little stumped with this evidence. Am I really supposed to assume this has something to do with the crime? It looks like trash. What could this possibly-

Rin, are you sure this is important to the case? It seems like it's just trash.

Never assume anything when investigating, Asuka. There's a rhyme and reason for everything. Any piece of evidence you find will help pave the way to the truth.

"Huh?" I recoiled. A-Another one? Another...memory? Asuka...she's...one of...my…

"Rin, you okay?"

"Hmm?" I turned back to Rantaro when he said my name. "Oh, I'm fine. Just...a lot on my mind. Mainly this possible evidence we found here."

"I can understand. There was a lot here, and it's hard to imagine if and how it's related." Rantaro noted. "However, we're lucky. If it weren't for that little pin sending out signals to Miu's lab, we wouldn't have even come here, let alone examine what's under the floor."

"True…" Yes. We're lucky enough to have found all of this. 'Any evidence will help pave the way to the truth', huh? Then, perhaps I should take that to heart.

Ding dong, bing bong!

From outside the room, we could hear the monitors turn on with the usual chime, followed by Monokuma's voice. "Already tired of investigating? Oh, you've been tired of it for a while now? Well, that's how it goes. Investigations aren't all that fun, you see." Monokuma began. "But it's a necessary step before we can move on to the main event… Kinda like searching the internet for that perfect porno video! In fact, some people think the search is the best part. Weird, huh? Anyway…" Monokuma then took a sip of his champagne before he continued. "The class trial is starting soon! Please gather at the Shrine of Judgement in the courtyard! Puhuhuhu, see you later!" We then heard the monitors turn off before I let out a sigh.

"It's already time…" I sighed.

"I would have liked to investigate more, but I think we should have enough to go on for the trial. If we discuss with the others about what we found and what they found, I'm sure we'll figure everything out." Rantaro reassured me.

"Yeah, but...it's not like last time. This time seems more complicated. We didn't find as much evidence either. And...I didn't have a plan to build theories this time either." I noted.

"So you're worried? That doesn't sound like you. You usually seem so confident about your actions." Rantaro told me with a kind smile. "You should just trust that we'll figure things out. That you'll be able to help find the truth. I trust that you can do that, after all, and I'm not the only one. The people here trust you as well. You're more dependable than you might think."

"...Right." I responded, feeling slightly better about things. That's right, I have people who are depending on me. I can't let them down. I have to believe we can do this and survive. No, we will survive. Rantaro and I proceeded to climb out from under the floor and put the floorboards back before we headed down to the Shrine of Judgement. Eventually, we made it to the shrine, where everyone else was waiting.

"...Is everyone ready?" Keebo asked us.

"Not like we have choice, right?" Gonta sighed.

"Kehehe… You are quick to understand. It's as though Monokuma has you trained." Kiyo chuckled.

"I can't believe we're going back there. To that awful trial ground." Kaede muttered softly.

"We'll figure everything out like last time, won't we?" Himiko asked.

"Of course we don't need to worry. The culprit is super obvious this time after all." Kokichi smiled happily. "It was suicide, after all, riiiight?"

"If it were that easy, we wouldn't have to investigate so thoroughly." Maki pointed out.

"We'll talk over everything soon, so we should save the chatter till then." I told them.

"Yeah, let's put an end to this at the class trial." Kaito nodded.

"Yeah...you're right." Shuichi added. The Monokuma statue then sank into the fountain once again, parting the water to reveal the elevator door. It was as if God himself parted the waters before sending us off to war. We all gathered ourselves, and then entered the elevator once again. We were silent, our uneasy breathing being the only thing we could hear. Just as we passed through the door, the elevator closed and began to lower itself.

Once again, we had started to descend, but this time with two people fewer than before. The shaking from the trip down was even more noticeable this time. No matter what I do, I can't tell if it's just the elevator trembling or if it's actually me. The others must have felt the same thing, as not a word was said as we continued our dark descent. Each second made me question just how deep this place was. It made me question just what the point of all this really was. Why go through so much trouble for something as sickening as this. I don't think I could ever understand. And just when I thought the unsure thoughts would begin to overwhelm me as they have once did, the elevator came to an abrupt stop, and the doors opened. And...why does it always give me this familiar feeling?

"Welcome! You've hopelessly arrived once again!" Monokuma cheered. "Hm? Did you want to come here again cuz of how wonderful it is? Isn't it wonderful? I put so much effort into building this place, it should be a monument."

"Actually, we're the ones who used the Exisals to build this courtroom, but father took all the credit." Monotaro corrected his father.

"BUT-I-AM-HAPPY...TO-BE-USED-AS-A-SLAVE-...BY-FATHER." Monodam said sadly.

"...You idiots are really committin' to this henchmen bit." Monosuke sighed.

"You guys are just so cute that I can't help working you to the bone." Monokuma told his children.

"You put a lot of elaborate detail into this courtroom. Almost like it's a show." Kokichi noted.

"For show, huh? That's an interesting way to put it." Monokuma responded.

"Tsumugi mentioned something like that before she died. She said she made this killing game 'for everyone'." I pondered out loud before turning to Monokuma. "Just what did she mean by that? Is this really being shown to someone, or perhaps multiple people? Just what exactly do you hope to gain from-?"

"Puhuhuhu. Those people aren't with us, so you don't need to worry about them." Monokuma cut me off with a few giggles. "Get it? They're not with us. As in, they're no longer with us, y'know what I mean?" Monokuma then gave us a sinister smile as he pointed to us. "In other words...you 14 are the only ones left in the world."

"The only ones left?" Rantaro repeated.

"Now, show me just how you intend to bargain for your lives!" Monokuma bellowed as he began laughing hysterically. With little to no choice, we all said nothing as we complied with Monokuma's orders and got back to our stands. There were two new additions made to the trial grounds this time. Three new portraits. One of them was where Tsumugi once stood. Her portrait had an 'X' on it, just like Kirumi's, but unlike Kirumi's, Tsumugi's 'X' was made of two sewing needles crossing each other to form the letter. And drawn on her head was a tiny crown that had a lightning bolt symbol that looked like Monokuma's left eye in it. The crown probably symbolizes Tsumugi's role as the mastermind, at least from what she claimed. The second new portrait was Miu's, with her 'X' actually being three 'X's. It sort of reminds me of how three 'X's would be used to label mature content, like moonshine or adult videos. I suppose that matches Miu. Also on the portrait were what appeared to be small taunts written on it. It would seem either Monokuma or the Monokubs thought it best to stain Miu one last time in taunts and insults like 'dirty cow', 'lol lol lol', and 'rated M for Miu'. Sigh… She just can't catch a break, even in death, it would seem. The final new portrait was Monokid's, which was up where the other Monokubs were. His portrait had guitars crossing each other to form an 'X'. So even he gets one? Strange…

With us now at our stands, we were ready. The class trial was about to begin for a second time. Miu Iruma, the Ultimate Inventor. She was stubborn, rude, vulgar, and at times unbearable, yet she still made many incredible inventions that helped improve the way of life for many people. She helped Kaede and Shuichi make cameras to trap the Mastermind. She agreed to make Kokichi tools that could have helped against Monokuma. And she even helped me with making things I asked for. Despite how she was, she was our friend, and she wanted to escape with us. But now she's dead...and the one responsible is here among us. Even with the supposed mastermind dead, someone decided to start the killing game again. Someone fell into the trap set up for us. It's heartbreaking, so much so I desperately don't want to believe it. Yet I must. I can't avert my eyes from the truth. I have to believe that every step we take will be towards our survival. I owe the ones who are gone that much. We owe them to at least fulfill the promise we made on our first day here. To escape and become friends. To that end, I will find the truth. I will survive and live with everyone! I can't die here, not like this and from this stupid game!

I will give everything that I am to beat this game down. In this trial of death, I'll strike down all the lies that I must if it means we arrive at the answer that'll lead us towards that future! In this trial of life and death, of truth and lies, of hope and despair, and of cruel realities and broken dreams, I will fight for everyone's sake!

Truth Bullets

1. Monokuma File 2: The victim is Miu Iruma, the Ultimate Inventor. The body was found in the Ultimate Inventor's Research Lab. The victim died due to a crushed windpipe as a result of choking. No other injuries were found.

2. Heat within Lab: Within Miu's Research Lab was a strange uncomfortable heat. It was caused by one of Miu's inventions that seemed to be a strange heater. It is presumed that it was turned on to obfuscate the time of death

3. Miu's injuries: Miu's injuries do not match those one would find with a victim of hanging. Her injuries instead match patterns of manual strangulation, meaning Miu was strangled by someone using their bare hands.

Show Alibis: Rantaro, Kaede, Shuichi, Kiyo, Gonta, Angie, Tenko, Keebo, and Himiko were in the gym for Himiko's magic show. From 7:30 to the morning announcement at 8, the others slowly came to help Himiko and Angie. They each helped set it up while they were there. Keebo left after helping set up the show to go ask Miu for maintenance. He ran into Rin on the way there. Maki and Kaito were together in the library during this time.

5. Sparkling Substance on Miu: There is a strange glitter-looking substance on parts of Miu's palms and fingers. It appears to be impossible to rub off, and it is unknown what caused it.

6. Maki Alone: Maki was in her lab all day yesterday. She only went back to her room after the nighttime announcement.

7. List of Inventions: A list of inventions Miu made the day prior to her death. Multiple inventions were listed to have been either worked on or completed.

8. Miu's Contingency Plan: A small device Miu made. Once a button is pressed, it emits signals to Miu's research lab via another invention. It was the only one made before Miu died, but it seemed more were planned to be made. It was found in one of the empty rooms on the fourth floor under the floorboards.

9. Insect Meet and Greet: The night before, Shuichi, Kaede, Kaito, Himiko, Tenko, Angie, Kiyo, and Keebo were forced to stay in the Ultimate Entomologist's lab by Gonta, who was tricked by Kokichi. They were stuck there from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Himiko and Angie were brought in five minutes to 9 p.m. Kokichi, Ryoma, and Rin left the lab at 9 p.m. They met up with Rantaro at that time and stayed together till 11 p.m. At 11 p.m. Kokichi and Rin came back and were forced to stay in their own Insect Meet and Greet until 7:30 a.m.

10. Witnessing Miu: The last person who saw Miu alive was Gonta. It was around 8 p.m. last night. Rin also saw Miu at around 7:30 p.m.

11. Ryoma's account: Ryoma was alone for most of yesterday while searching for someone to bring to the Insect Meet and Greet. When Ryoma went to the dorms at around 8:10 p.m. he saw Kiyo leaving his dorm room. Kiyo made small talk with Ryoma, allowing him to lure Kiyo to the Insect Meet and Greet. Ryoma spoke to Rantaro for a few minutes before heading back to his room. He stayed in his room for the rest of the time, only leaving his room after the body discovery announcement played.

12. Kokichi's account: Kokichi went to the warehouse to grab things for the video screening party he planned last night while Gonta, Rin, and Ryoma gathered people. He saw Himiko and Angie there, but wasn't there for long. Among the things he grabbed was a monitor. He was alone for most of this time until Gonta came back with the first batch of people.

13. Purple piece of clothing: A small torn piece of purple colored clothing was found in Miu's lab on the floor. It looks like a piece of trash at first glance.

14. Broken Device: In one of the empty rooms on the fourth floor under the floorboards was a pile of scrap that appeared to once be a device that had the appearance of some sort of toy ray gun. It has a similar looking substance to what is on Miu's hands on the barrel.

15. Hook: In one of the empty rooms on the fourth floor under the floorboards was a hook. It looks like it hasn't been used, but has the same glittery substance on it that can't be removed, but it is much greater in amount.

16. Pile of Dust and Burnt Cloth: There was a pile of something that was burnt to ash under the floor of the empty room on the fourth floor. Within the pile survived a tiny, white piece of cloth of some kind. It is extremely thin and not too wide.
