"Leizcio… Why… Are we training?" Ochaco slowly said, catching her breath.

"Because we have our final exams coming up? Even if it's robots, we gotta be ready!"

The two were training in the small home gym under the cafe as they began to prepare themselves for their final exams.

"We can take a breather if you need it." Leizcio said to which Ochaco immediately began nodding her head. They sat down on the floor, letting themselves cool off for a little bit. After a few minutes passed, something crossed Ochaco's mind.

"Hey… think we can spar for a bit?"

"Sure?"

Leizcio was slightly confused by the offer but he wasn't about to turn it down. They get up and started to put on boxing wraps on their hands as they got ready.

"So, why'd you wanna spar?" Leizcio asked as he finished tying his boxing wraps around his hands.

"Oh I just wanted to try something that I learned from my internship is all!" Ochaco said with a grin on her face. Leizcio was suddenly starting to regret doing this but he rolled with it anyways.

"Go! Come at me!" Ochaco challenged as a menacing aura radiated from her.

Leizcio accepted and he started running over to her. As he led with a punch, he feels Ochaco's hands grab him and immediately feels his body begin to float.

'Oh god.' Was all Leizcio thought as he braced himself for impact.

"Gunhead Martial Arts!"

Ochaco swings Leizcio over her and throws him over her shoulder with ease, slamming him down to the floor and pinning him down.

"So, whatcha think? Pretty cool huh?" Ochaco said with pride, still holding Leizcio down.

"My back hurts a little bit…"

"Oh! Sorry about that…"

"No it's okay! It was a good move, especially using your quirk like that!"
fOchaco let go of her hold on him and helped Leizcio back up. He stretched a bit as he stood up and his body felt in slightly less pain.

"So… what's with the sudden turn to doing combat?"

"Well, I kinda wanted to try it out for a while honestly when you were out and about during your thing, but my fight with Bakugo made me realize that I needed it." Ochaco explained.

"Oh that's great! Gotta admit, didn't do much fighting unless it was necessary… but that's not the point! Point is that you're doing well even though you've been doing it for like a week!"

"Thanks, but I still got a whole lot to learn…"

"Ochaco… you know you can ask me if you want help with that right? "

"Wait really?"

"Yeah! Just no more throwing me on my back for now please…"

"Hehe, no promises!"

"Don't try me Ochaco." Leizcio said with a small grin. As he was about to get ready for another round, he heard his phone ring and checked to see what it was. As usual, he had forgotten the time and immediately began to take his boxing wraps off.

"Hey Ochaco, you're going to Yaoyorozu's study session today right?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Yaoyorozu is gonna pick me up soon, wanna come along too?"

"Yeah!"

"Okay good because she's coming in like ten minutes." Leizcio said as he quickly left to go change.

"Wait what?!"

The two were at a table drinking some tea while they waited for Yaoyorozu to drop by. Leizcio changed into something that made him look like a teacher. Ochaco couldn't help but question it a bit.

"You don't dress like this normally Leizcio, is it because of the study session?"

"Yeah, figured if I'm going to help tutor, I should at least look the part. At least that's what Yaoyorozu told me…"

Ochaco couldn't help but chuckle at that a little bit which slightly annoyed Leizcio. But she stopped after a bit.

"It's fitting at least! Wait… what was your placement for the midterm?"

"Oh, I'm pretty sure I was third. What about you?"

Ochaco looked down at her lap to hide her embarrassment, "Thirteenth…"

"Uh… well hey, that's why we're going to a study session in the first place and more importantly, we both want to go to the training camp, remember?"

"Right! For training camp!" Ochaco said, her excitement dialing back up to what it was just at the mention of the camp.

Looking outside, he checked to see if Yaoyorozu was there and fortunately enough, there she was waiting for the two, on her phone about to text them. Leizcio got up and gestured to Ochaco that she was already here and the two exited the cafe.

"Hi you two! I hope I didn't keep you waiting long!"

"No you're fine, we're just… Ochaco?"

Leizcio looked at her and she was spaced out, simply staring at the limo that Yaoyorozu pulled up in. Leizcio waved his hands in front of her face, snapping her out of it.

"Are you sure we can ride with you Yaoyorozu?" Ochaco asked, her mind doubting the fact she should be anywhere near such luxury.

"Of course? If you want, we have other c-"

"D-don't finish that sentence Yaoyorozu. Please. We're fine with this." Leizcio interrupted, knowing that if Yaoyorozu was going to say something about having multiple rides, it would probably give Ochaco a heart attack.

Getting into the limo, the three were headed to Yaoyorozu's home for the study session. It was a quiet ride given that Ochaco was internally freaking out and surprisingly Leizcio as well, despite having been calm before.

"Alright, we're here now!"

The three got out of the limo and Yaoyorozu went forward to her home. Leizcio and Ochaco on the other hand were both awestruck by the sheer size of the estate. They knew she was rich, the limo said that much, but her home just put that in a whole different perspective.

Almost on the spot, Ochaco fainted and nearly hit the ground, with Leizcio barely able to catch her on time.

"OCHACO?! HEY OCHACO?!"

"DON'T GO INTO THE LIGHT!"

Leizcio used a small bit of his energy and zapped her, forcefully waking her back up. Leizcio and Yaoyorozu both let out a sigh of relief now that Ochaco was back up.

"Sorry about that. Thanks for waking me up Leizcio." Ochaco thanked him as she got back up with Leizcio's help. Yaoyorozu still kept the same expression as she watched the two.

"So… how are you two not phased by this?"

"Oh, well it's happened a few times. I honestly felt like fainting too when I saw how big this place was!"

Unsurprisingly, this did not make Yaoyorozu feel any less worried and made it worse.

"B-but it's fine now! We're fine now, right Ochaco?" Getting a nod from her in response.

"I see…"

As the three entered the estate, the sheer size of the place inside put Leizcio and Ochaco into shock. Neither of them have been in a place so… rich. Ochaco was trying her hardest to not faint again from being overwhelmed and Leizcio was on standby ready to give her an electric shock should she need it.

But luckily enough, that wasn't needed and the trio got to the hall where everyone was going to study. Ochaco and Leizcio were getting out their things from their backpacks, with Leizcio having more things in hand as he was fully committed to helping with studying. Mostly because Kaminari and Ashido's ranks were the lowest of the entire class.

Looking around the table, Leizcio saw a pair of glasses sitting there. Out of curiosity, he tries them on, and his vision went slightly blurry as soon as he looked out from the lenses.

'Wait, Ochaco doesn't wear glasses… so does that mean-'

"Hey Yaoyorozu, are these your glasses?" Leizcio asked as he pointed at his face. Much to her embarrassment, she zipped over to him and took them off his face.

"Y-yes! I don't use them as often since I have contacts but I forgot to get my replacements for them so I've been using my glasses for now until I can get my replacements."

"Ohhhh, that makes sense. I thought they were fake until I put them on."

"Want to try putting on a fake pair?" Yaoyorozu offered as she created one from her hand.

"Try it Leizcio! C'mon, it'll bring the whole teacher fit together!" Ochaco encouraged, slightly chuckling at the end.

'It'd be pretty rude to just turn it down I guess…' Leizcio thought as he put them on, giving into the peer pressure that was mostly from Ochaco.

"See? It all ties together!" Yaoyorozu commented. Before Leizcio could say something, they heard a buzzer and Yaoyorozu left quickly.

'It's probably everyone else that's coming.'

Standing over his materials, Leizcio muttered to himself over the topics that he was going to help out with, mostly revolving around mathematics and science. But he could feel someone looking at him and just sighed.

"What Ochaco?"

"Oh nothing, Professor Esperanza."

"You expected me to say no?"

"Pfft, no but I'm just joking."

Their conversation was interrupted as Jirou, Sero, Ashido, Sero, and Kaminari walked into the hall.

"Dude, she has a private tutor?" Kaminari pointed out, looking at Esperanza not realizing it was him.

'Oh for fucks sake.'

"No, it's just me… Leizcio..."

It took Kaminari a solid minute but he finally realized it actually was Leizcio, the rest were laughing a small bit, but who knows whether they were laughing at Kaminari for not realizing it was Leizcio or how professor like Leizcio looked.

When the group finally settled down, they sat in their chairs and waited for Yaoyorozu.

"I feel so out of place, it's making me kinda nervous…"

"Me too…"

Almost on cue, everyone's nervousness is cleared as Yaoyorozu walked in with an array of small pastries and a regal tea set. Her bliss was shining bright, immediately making everyone else feel much more relaxed.

'Time to get to studying…'

"Good job Kaminari, you got it!"

Leizcio congratulated him as he managed to get a difficult problem done on his own. They were about two hours into their study session quickly making progress thanks to Leizcio and Yaoyorozu's assistance.

"Thanks, but I feel like my brain is going is going to fry if I don't get a break soon!"

"That's a good point…" Leizcio said. Looking around, it seemed that everyone could use a break considering they did go over quite a bit. He walked over to Yaoyorozu who had just finished helping out Sero.

"Yaoyorozu, I think we should take a break, we've been at it for a while now."

"Oh sure!"

She rang a little bell she had with her, getting everyone else's attention who were deeply focused on their work.

"Let's take a break everyone! We can relax for an hour before we go back to studying, there's also food in the next hall for everyone to enjoy!"

And with that, the group dropped their pencils from their hands and bolted for the next hall. They all were practically starving given the way they ran to get something to eat, leaving Yaoyorozu and Leizcio alone in the study hall.

"You're not going to eat Esperanza?"

"Nah, already had a calorie bar before. My body's metabolism is still crazy high but it should be fine for now."

"Wait… How is your metabolism still high if you're not running like before?"

Leizcio decided to grab one of the chairs and sit down, "Well, I don't run, but my healing still drains a lot out of me. It was really bad when I was recovering and it still is doing its work on me."

"I see, what about your electricity?"

"Well, that's safe to say that it's a part of me again. I was lucky enough to have it come back to me the week before finals. It's not much but it's enough for me to give it a shot."

Leizcio activated his quirk 'silently', feeling the warm sparks of energy travel through his body. Looking down at his hand, he deactivated it and just sighed. He looked back up at Yaoyorozu and it looked like she still had something to say.

"Is there something else you wanted to ask Yaoyorozu?"

"Well… It's a bit of a personal question and I don't want to overstep any boundaries."

"It's fine Yaoyorozu, go for it."

"Your quirk is… something special. I mean, after what happened, it's like it had a defense mechanism and shut itself off."

"What I want to ask is… what if your quirk doesn't fully come back?"

It wasn't what Leizcio was expecting, but it was also a possible reality that he might have to face. His quirk is something that barely made any sense, and didn't act normally as others would.

"I'm sorry Esperanza, maybe this was-"

"No you're right. It's something I have to consider. It was my fault I got so carried away, so I can't really be mad if it happens."

Leizcio starts thinking back to being the Blur. All the people he had saved when he was out on patrol, even when he wasn't in his vigilante suit, he'd do the small things before others could see. He always ran from crime to crime, but in the small moments that he stayed for more than a second, he could see the relief on a person's face after he saved them.

"I'll definitely miss the feeling of running so fast, but… I'm glad that I had the chance to experience it. Even if it doesn't fully come back to me, I won't let it stop me from moving forward. Besides, I have hope that things will turn out for the better." Leizcio said with a small smile.

Leizcio's response was something that Yaoyorozu was glad to hear. It made her feel better that despite what's happened to him, he still has a sense of optimism that things will work out.

"I hope that it will too Esperanza."

The two heard doors opening and saw everyone else coming back to the study halls. Kaminari in specific rushed over to Leizcio.

"Espe! Come on you need to eat!"

"Kaminari wai-."

Leizcio was stopped as Kaminari shoved a pastry into his mouth, forcing him to eat it.

The group spent the rest of their hour of rest talking with each other and wondering what training camp would be like. From there, they kept studying as much as they could. Everyone was motivated to do their best and learn what the most in the time they had.

Once it had already begun to get late, everyone went their own separate ways back home. Leizcio was dropped off by Yaoyorozu at the cafe as Lavania was already busy dealing with some paperwork for the cafe.

Soon as he was back in the cafe, he walked upstairs into his room and laid down on his bed. He looked blankly at the ceiling above him, his thoughts brewing inside.

'If the finals are going to be against robots, then I should have enough firepower and my energy can shut them down. It'd just be a matter of moving fast enough since I won't have the same kind of mobility like before…'

'Mobility… Mobility…'

His mind starts going back to the stunts that he's pulled before. Every single leap and evasion was something he did with his speed before. It's something that through his time as Blur he managed to hone, especially when his speed was fading.

'Okay so I can move a little better than normal, but what else?'

That's when it clicked in his head. He shot out from his bed and immediately ran to the back of the cafe in the yard. Hisako happened to be there training her quirk as she prepared for finals as well.

"Hey Leizcio."

Hisako's greeting fell on deaf ears however as Leizcio was positioning himself and was staring at the roof of the cafe for a good bit while he did. Hisako watched unamused but also stopped her training just in case he was about to do something stupid.

'Okay, if I release that amount of energy from my feet the second I jump, it should be high enough for me to scale the cafe and hopefully land on the roof. That and before I land I have to release a small amount so that I can land without any injury but not too strong that it sends me backwards… Oh what the hell?'

Leizcio leaped and released a pulse of energy from his feet. Hisako stood there impressed as Leizcio shot himself up basically two stories into the air in basically the blink of an eye.

'Oh wow…'

For that small second that Leizcio was up above, he could see things from a new height and for that small second, he enjoyed it.

That was until a bird was about to hit him head on…

'Crap crap crap!'

Improvising, he used another pulse to send himself slightly upward so as to not get in the bird's way. But now he'd have to quickly time his pulses right as he messed up his trajectory and was heading for the yard instead of the roof like intended. Hisako took notice of what happened and tried to make a construct to grab Leizcio. The problem was that he was out of her quirk's range and she couldn't make a construct on the floor as she couldn't manipulate the construct to be like a trampoline and could only make it solid.

'Okay come on Leizcio… Focus!'

Seconds before he hit the floor, he released two small pulses from his feet, pushing him up a slight bit, getting rid of the velocity that he was falling at and land safely without any damage.

"That… was- Ow!"

Leizcio was about to celebrate but was quickly flicked on the forehead by Hisako who was a bit upset.

"Leizcio, I know you're training your quirk too… But maybe don't just launch yourself up three stories high without a warning?"

"Sorry… That's on me." Leizcio said with a bit of guilt.

"Look, if anything, it was pretty impressive to do that so quickly."

And just like that, Leizcio's spirit was much more upbeat, "I know right! I was trying to think of ways to move around without my speed and I remembered that I was learning how to try and make up for it so I used what I learned with Blink but with stronger output and everything!"

"Great. Just keep training it so you're ready for finals."

"Same for you Hisako! We got this!"

Even with the chance that his quirk might not be the same after all that happened, Leizcio still went to his old ways of thinking and doing the most that he can with what he had.

Now with a determined mindset and a more honed ability, he's ready to face the finals that will come ahead, and while little is known about it…

Leizcio was ready to face the challenges that would be thrown at him.
