Lavendershipping (Siegfried von Schroeder x Marik Ishtar)
He smelled of faint lavender mixed with some other scents that Marik couldn't quite place, fancy, expensive smells, he could tell. He tried his hardest to stop his lip from curling with disgust—he hated scented perfumes and cologne in the first place, and smelling it in this already ostentatious room with this richly clothed man was just twice as terrible. Rich people. He was not a fan.
But he pasted on a bland smile as he shook the man's hand, trying notto show his disgust with the horrible, tailored purple suit and the man's ridiculous pink hair that had been allowed to grow long past his waist, tufted out just in front of his ears.
"So glad you could join me today, Mr. Samara," Siegfried von Schroeder said, in horribly accented Arabic. "I hope you had a pleasant trip."
"It got me here and that's all that matters," Marik said in tight German.
He was Karim Samara today, the foreign delegate from Gilgamesh Corporation—which was a dummy company, but Mr. von Schroeder didn't need to know that. All he needed to know was that the "Corporation" was floundering and needed foreign investments into its gaming technology to stay afloat. Cutting a deal with the von Schroeders would give Marik's Ghouls the edge they needed in Germany for obtaining the cards that Marik was particularly interested in...
And besides that, his meeting Siegfried was a good cover for the Ghoul he had assigned to map out the building's interior and figure out where Siegfried was holding some of his rarer cards.
Siegfried settled down behind the desk. It was a ridiculously fancy thing, with delicate carvings in the expensive mahogany. Marik perched himself at the edge of the plush chair on the other side. He hated how out of place he felt in this finery. He hated Siegfriend von Schroeder for havingall this finery in the first place.
As Siegfried began to speak, addressing the paperwork that the "Gilgamesh Corporation" had sent over a few days ago, Marik simply smiled the blandest possible smile he could muster.
He hated the scent of lavender.

A/N: I have finally caught back up to filling in all the holes I missed on my first pass. Next is Lateshipping (Yami no Bakura x Amane Bakura).
