Kamenshipping (Yami no Kamen x Hikari no Kamen)
. . .
((just a quick note...I have been alerted to a far more in depth and complete YGO Shipping List, which means I've missed some chapters again. You may see some updates in out of order areas, and since I'll be moving them into their correct place, just clicking on the link in your update e-mail won't take you to the chapter that I post...you'll have to see which chapter it is and then find it in alphabetical order. Sorry about this. ^^;))

"I think it's a stupid idea."
"Why? We're supposed to be covert, right?"
"This is not the way to do it."
"Why do you have a problem with every damn thing I suggest?"
The shorter of the two men glared down at the half mask he was holding. He squinted up at his taller companion.
"This is halfa mask," he said. "How is halfa mask going to hide our identities?"
"It was the only pair of matching masks I could find on short notice, sue me," the taller man said. "They go together. We're a tag team, we should go together."
"That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard."
"You'rethe stupidest thing I'veever heard."
The shorter man's lips curled in a scowl, and not for the first time he wished he, the more forceful of the two, was also the taller. Thenthey'd see who was stupid.
"Forget it. I'm not doing it. I don't even know how I got paired up with you in the first place. This is stupid, and pointless."
"We haven't been coordinating strategies well lately have we?"
"No, you're right, we haven't – that's why this partnership should end immediately."
"So that's why I took the liberty of putting microphones into the masks.
The shorter man hesitated. He glanced down at the mask for a moment, and then up at the taller man.
"You..."
"Right here," the man said, flipping his mask over and pointing to the place where the mouth would be in the mask. "We talk right into that, and we can confirm each other's facedown cards and the cards in each other's hands. Presto, no need to guess what the other is thinking."
The short man turned his own mask over, looking at the little microphone. He squinted up at the taller man again.
"Perhaps you're not as stupid as you look," he said, impressed in spite of himself. "Well, then, perhaps we should try out our new strategy on some unsuspecting fools?"
The tall man grinned.
"My thoughts exactly."
