On February 5, the world of theater lost one of its shining stars. Christopher Plummer, well known for his role of Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, as well as narrating the Madeline movies and cartoons among other roles, passed away at age 91.

Sofia2017 planning asked about this song from Madeline: Lost in Paris, so enjoy your request! I thought it would be fun if, during Student Art Night in The Princess Ballet, the students sing a song as they demonstrate their many artistic talents. And even though Kari's still having a little trouble with the dance, she's finally having fun with it. Thanks to Niagara14301 for helping with some of the lyrics. Madeline: Lost in Paris is not mine, and on a more serious note, rest in peace, Christopher Plummer.

Royal Prep students:We can sing, we can dance, we write poems with compassion.
We can draw, we can paint, all in true royal fashion.

Hildegard (spoken excitedly): Royal fashions?

Cleo (spoken): Not that kind of royal fashions, Hildy!

Très très well-travelled and très très well-read.

Sergio Adagio: A fine up-bringing, you've been given,
Considering the skills you're showing.
But, to learn correctly, if you please:
I'll find a new dance teacher who's Satunese..

Miss Flora: They can weave, they can sew, with the finest silk or satin.

Miss Fauna: They can quote, from the classics, in fluent Greek and Latin.
