Geminishipping (Thief King Bakura/Yami no Bakura)

. . .

Sometimes, pieces came to him. Pieces of places that he knew he hadn't been, at least not this time. Or faces that he had never seen—again, at least not thistime. Emotions would rise up in his chest when he looked at old artifacts in dusty glass cases, and it would make his lips curl and his hand clutch at his chest.

"Shut the fuck up,"he would hiss. "You don't exist anymore."

But the shards wouldn't let him forget. They pierced him, more like the shards of a broken mirror pasted onto another rather than a puzzle fit back together. It hadn't been a science, coming back the way he did. It had been a struggle, a mess, both of them trying to decide which one of them got the most of their soul in the final product. He wasn't even sure exactly who he wasanymore.

"You're a part of me,"he hissed as the unnatural sense of familiarity rose up in his chest at the sight of an old collection of Egyptian pots. "You are minenow. There is nothing left for you. Give up."

The pieces of the thief didn't know how to, though.

And sometimes he wondered...

How much of the thief was actually part of him, and how much was still alive...how much was still watching him, waiting...

Waiting for an opening to steal it again?

A/N: I don't like writing these ones because I just can't see these characters as entirely separate ;w; Next is Gangshipping (Jonouchi x Hirutani).
