A/N: I know I missed a couple of reviews from chapter 9, so I'll answer some of those along with the ones from chapter 10!

Absolute Fury: I totally understand how you feel; I wasn't a fan of Videl when I realized she was carbon copy, new wave Chi-Chi. I get that the point was for Gohan x Videl to closely mimic the relationship of Goku x Chichi (and as other pointed out, it could also just be Toriyama's inability to write women) but it felt empty for some reason. Not to say Videl isn't a good character but she had the potential to be more than what we got. And for her to lose all her spunkiness and just be reduced to a housewife also got me.

Also, thank you for your input on Ivory! One of the biggest things I wanted was to her to feel like an actual person and villain with flaws and conflicting thoughts.

X3Runner: To Ivory, Frieza's word was absolute. After all, what reason would she have to doubt him? He was her world. Though, now her world is in shambles and she needs something concrete to hold onto.

(Also she'd totally be into that kinky shit I may have an idea for a one-shot but it would be a while before I drafted it and published it)

DARK-ZERO-0000: Ivory normally has a reason for why she does what she does, but she can't even bring herself to admit why the book is so important to her. Well, maybe it's not that she "Can't", but more like she doesn't want to.

As for Kirsi, I wanted her to take a more active role this time around. A big part of her mourns the fact that she and Ivory didn't have as good as relationship as Ivory and Frieza did. Maybe this is her chance…

Also, I did mention this before, but I'd like to reiterate that this story will extend into DBS! I hadn't been planning on it initially and I had been debating for a long time whether or not I should go that far and what else could be said, but I have decided to push it that far before this story reaches the end. However, this does mean that I will be skipping straight to the Tournament of Power arc as I needed a believable reason for Ivory to be drafted onto the team. And for those wondering, I've decided thanks to some additional input that I will be booting Tien from the Universe 7 team; I thought long and hard about it and even asked some of my friends the merits of booting one or the other, and they brought up good points that ultimately led to me picking Tien to boot from the team. Sorry Tien fans!

Thank you for everyone who took the time to read and review!~

There was a certain sense of satisfaction that came from finally having Ivory's undivided attention. This wasn't the scenario she thought they would be in; she thought they would be on a beautiful planet, leaving thoughts of vendettas and Saiyans alone, finally bonding as they were meant to without any of the obligation of the empire. But instead, here they were, on a disgusting mudball where Kirsi was miserable, and Ivory had disrespected her more times than she could count.

It wasn't her ideal form of bonding, but Kirsi would take what she could get.

There was no way she could connect any other way, so she had to speak Ivory's language. She was well acquainted with the way Ivory fought, a rather graceful thing if Kirsi was being honest, but that was something Ivory had done since she was a child. This was something foreign to her. Ivory had never been interested in anyone before now even if she garnered all sorts of attraction over the years.

Battle wasn't Kirsi's strong suit, but she knew how to weaponize her beauty and that was enough. And that would be exactly what she was teaching Ivory to do. She was beautiful and if she cared enough to show off her best features, she could get whatever she wanted without having to be diplomatic. She could have the world at her fingertips if she really wanted to and had everything she needed to do it.

"I'd never ask you to lower your head in the presence of a Saiyan, not in a million years. But you must appeal to their desires. Roll your shoulders back and push your chest out slightly. Keep your back straight and cross a leg over the other. Present yourself."

It was almost comical how seriously Ivory was taking this. She was treating it as another mission, and Ivory always made sure she did everything to the best of her ability. Other than the few strange looks she shot Kirsi whenever she said something Ivory didn't understand, she was taking this training to heart. She didn't talk back and the only time she spoke was to ask Kirsi a question or two.

A shame that this was the only way she could have a stable relationship with her daughter.

"Lift your leg just a bit darling."

"The dress rides over my thighs though."

"That's exactly the point. You want to tease them after all."

"…Of course."

The obedience was something Kirsi had only dreamed of, yet here Ivory was, watching Kirsi's every movement, hanging onto her every word, and doing exactly as she asked. If she could, Kirsi would've milked this for all it was worth, but she needed to play her hand carefully if she wanted things to go her way. She still had to make sure that Ivory would be compliant enough to follow through.

"Always remember to draw attention to your best features. You are gorgeous my darling; you can have anyone you want if you just use the gifts you have."

She had Kirsi's looks but Frieza's strength, a very dangerous combination to have. She could charm who she wanted and defeat them in the same breath. She had secured deals and killed whoever got in her way, and she had been proposed to more times than Kirsi could count.

Ivory had received all the best features from both her parents yet rarely used either. Such a shame.

Then again, if Ivory had learned to use her beauty to her advantage, that would've lead to another world of trouble. Perhaps Kirsi should be thankful that Ivory never cared to learn.

Loathe as she was to admit it, Kirsi did have a point.

Sure, Ivory had never seen her mother as much more than a nuisance, but she couldn't deny that Kirsi carried herself in a way that turned heads and got her more than her fair share of suitors in her life. Ivory used to absolutely hate Kirsi for how quickly she seemed to move on after her husband's death and Ivory especially hated how she had so many soldiers at her call for nightly activities. Maybe a part of Ivory still resented Kirsi for moving on so quickly and that resentment stopped her from ever seeing the value of Kirsi's…talents.

'If only she had committed to the empire as much as she did her night partners.'

Not that Ivory was jealous of course, she had better things to do than worry about who was going to warm her bed next, but that didn't take away from the fact that Kirsi knew her way around the male (and female and those who preferred not to identify) species. If batting her eyes and playing dumb was the quickest way to get information out of someone, then Ivory would comply.

But things wouldn't be that simple.

Sure, Kirsi had taken Ivory out on a field test earlier and in that time Ivory found success, having gotten three different men to buy her gifts and trinkets. But those men weren't…Saiyans nor were they anything like Gohan. Which was the biggest issue. Gohan wasn't like other Saiyans and he definitely wasn't like the common male; she genuinely enjoyed his company and he seemed to enjoy her company just fine (not including a certain "situation" that she wasn't going to name) the way she was. If that wasn't bad enough, Kirsi was asking her to play submissive, to act passive around the Saiyan. Ivory would be damned if she did any of those things, but her mother's methods did guarantee results…

What was she to do? If she suddenly acted different around Gohan would he notice? Would he like the change? Or would he find it weird because he preferred how she normally acted? Or what if he would see through her ploy and distanced himself?

There were too many factors. And Kirsi usually attracted shallow partners. Gohan wasn't shallow. He wasn't interested in nightly activities and he wasn't looking to have her hang off of his arm like a trophy. He said it himself that he enjoyed being around her and wasn't that the most important thing?

'But deep down, he is still a Saiyan. And a male. He would return to his base urges at the end of the day.'

No, Ivory knew exactly what to do.

She would treat this as a mission. And with every mission, there was a level of preparation needed; a field test of sorts. She could utilize Kirsi's methods of course, but from the knowledge she already had, she knew they likely wouldn't be as effective on this particular subject: Kirsi had never seduced a Saiyan as far as Ivory knew and the techniques she taught her likely wouldn't work as well on Gohan. So, Ivory would just have to modify things a bit to fit with what she already knew.

Kirsi told her to wear pastel colors, soft pinks and blues to accentuate her softer features. But Ivory preferred bold colors, deep reds and royal purples as a show of status. Maybe these things worked better for Kirsi but she and Ivory were two different people; Ivory had to be seductive in her own skin.

Kirsi wanted irresistible? Ivory would be irresistible.

She was almost disappointed that Kirsi wasn't around to see her leave the next morning, but she quickly got over it. Ivory would see her later and even if she was berated, at least Ivory was doing things her way and not how Kirsi dictated.

Gone were the soft flat shoes and pale pink dress that Kirsi had so carefully picked out, an outfit that made Ivory gag every time she saw it. In it's place Ivory had picked out boots that ended just below her knee, with shorts that just barely stretched over her thighs; the whole look left more skin than she had ever shown visible but wasn't that Kirsi's idea? Ivory was definitely showing skin this time around.

The top was a little bit more difficult to figure out but Ivory made do with a long-sleeved red shirt with the shoulders missing. The shirt was long, long enough to reach just above the end of her shorts but still pulled the whole look together. Ivory had never been one to care too much for fashion but dressing up was enjoyable and she felt that she looked better in this than anything Kirsi could've come up with. She even felt a little more confident like this.

"This is a…bold look for you Princess," Biamuh said when he greeted her that morning. "Why the sudden change?"

Ivory had shrugged. Of course, she could tell him Kirsi's plan and why Ivory was changing it; he hadn't been present for her lessons with Kirsi. But that would be taking the fun out of things and Ivory wanted to enjoy herself in the time she had. "Bold as in good or bold meaning something else?"

"Bold is a good way Princess. I don't mean to offend."

And Biamuh knew better than to lie to her or save her feelings. If he said good, then he meant it. And that was more than enough to convince Ivory that as far as appearance went, she had succeeded on that end. Now it just came to putting everything Kirsi taught her to use. Kirsi may have been off when it came to attire, but her advice on seduction was valuable, even if it needed to be modified.

It was up to her to put everything into practice.

She would've been disappointed but not surprised if Gohan hadn't been waiting for her but she was delighted that he still was. That didn't mean he had forgotten about this weekend of course but at least he wasn't avoiding her. That would've made things more difficult. Having to hunt him down and talk would be tedious and she would be lying if she said she disliked talking with him.

"Good morning Gohan," she greeted sweetly.

He flinched slightly at the sound of her voice and cautiously turned to look at her, pretending that he hadn't just been spooked. When he did manage to look at her she didn't miss the way his eyes roamed up and down her body and she preened at the attention. She wouldn't say anything to him of course and let him look all he wanted but she'd be lying if she said look hadn't sparked something in her.

It was only when she gently cleared her throat that he sapped out of whatever stupor he was in and turned away, trying to hide how red his face had gotten. "Good…good morning," he mumbled.

Looks like her outfit was doing more for him than she expected.

Ivory titled her head, stepping this way and that to try and get Gohan to look straight at her, but he adamantly refused to meet her gaze. "Is something the matter Gohan? You're acting…strange."

"N-No. Well, yeah I mean, there is but not-I don't know."

"We're friends, are we not?" She held his shoulder to prevent him from moving, but also because she had recalled with Kirsi had said. 'Make physical contact when you can' Kirsi had said. 'It helps build intimacy.' "You can talk to me if you need to."

"But I can't," he said quietly. And he sounded almost pained. "I don't want things to be weird between us."

"You're making it quite weird by not talking to me." Gently, she cupped his face and basically forced him to look straight at her. "Please. Talk to me. Help me to understand what went wrong."

"…it's about the other day. At the park. I shouldn't have-we shouldn't have-that shouldn't have happened."

Ivory chuckled, trying to exclude calm even though her heart was racing. "Is that all? Gohan, things won't be weird between us just because of that. You had me really concerned for a moment."

"But…" He sighed and his body seemed to sag. Though she noticed he leaned into her touch a tiny bit. Whether or not it was an unconscious thing was beyond her but he hadn't pulled away from her just yet. "It just wasn't right."

"Then we can pretend it didn't happen. I haven't thought about it afterward," she lied. She couldn't stop thinking about it. Even now she wondered what he would do if she leaned up to kiss him. If she rose up on her toes and pressed her lips to his. Would he push her away? Or would he hold her around the waist and kiss her back? "This all goes away if we pretend it never happened."

"Can it really be that easy?"

She smiled. "Of course it can." She was lying; it could never be that easy, nothing ever was. But she had to convince him not to act so strange around her. If she pretended none of it mattered, despite her heart pounding in her chest, then maybe he could too.

It was difficult but she could do it.

"I'm not sure if I could-"

She silenced him quickly, pressing a finger against his lips. His words died out immediately and he stared at her with wide eyes. His lips were trembling under her finger. But he wisely stayed silent, not moving a muscle. She hadn't even realized that she was holding her breath until she exhaled to speak.

"It." She lightly tapped against his lips. "Never." Another tap. "Happened." And again, until she lowered her hand when he didn't say anything further. "Are we clear?"

Gohan nodded slowly, dull red on his cheeks. "Y-Yes. We're clear."

Ivory grinned, patting his face. "Good boy."

She walked off without another word and after a few seconds, she heard his footsteps pick up as he hurried to catch up to her.

That…was an interesting encounter, she had to admit. Thinking back, she didn't do exactly as her mother said. At least, she started off using her mother's advice but then Gohan kept pushing the issue and she couldn't keep up appearances for longer. But in her defense, it worked. Gohan dropped the issue and was walking behind her like an obedient little pet.

Next time, she'd try to fully use what her mother told her, just to see how effective it was. Then she would try it her own way and see what Gohan was more receptive to. Because whatever was more effective was the key to the rest of this plan and she couldn't be sure what would work and what wouldn't.

She didn't know much about this…seduction thing and honestly felt like it was a waste of time, but her mother did get results and she seemed to get them quickly. Problem was, Ivory wasn't looking for someone to warm her bed like her mother did; Ivory wanted answers. Her mother got results, but Ivory was after something entirely different and she didn't want to scare him off.

'Although…'

She snuck a glance over at Gohan. For all intents and purposes, he looked fine. Although there was still that light blush on his cheeks even if it wasn't as deep as before. It was easier said than done to forget something that had impacted them both so deeply, but it looked like he was trying.

If only she could believe that as much as she lied to herself about it.

The walk to school was different again, only because there were no words between them. The silence wasn't awkward, at least, not at first, but companionable. Of course, she would've preferred to actually have a conversation with him as she couldn't stand the silence, but it was better than trying to keep up a conversation when Gohan was still reeling over what happened. It wouldn't lead to anything helpful coming from it so it was better for both of them.

Unfortunately, arriving at school only seemed to make things worse; he could barely answer any of their friends when they tried to engage in a conversation with him and he was quick to leave once he had an opening. Sharpner made some snide remark after him, a remark that Erasa scolded him for, as Videl chased after him for answers. When Ivory was asked what went wrong, she merely shrugged, fighting to keep a smile off her face.

"He seemed fine to me," was all she had said.

Class provided what was probably the most interesting experience of the morning.

They were supposed to be taking notes on some lecture about something or other but she was hardly paying attention. Gohan seemed to have calmed down or was good at pretending he was calm as he took notes but she noticed that he still seemed…tense.

She was feigning interest in the lecture when, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed him looking at her. When she looked up, again pretending to look at something on the chalkboard, he flinched and looked away. Ivory looked down again, and that's when she felt him looking at her. Very carefully, as to not draw attention to their little game, and met his gaze.

'Interesting.'

He didn't move, only continued to stare. Ivory stared back, then tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and gave him her best smile. This seemed to get a reaction out of him because he jolted and accidentally ran a jagged line down his notes with a pencil.

She covered her mouth as to not laugh out loud. Interesting indeed.

"Gohan's been acting weird today, hasn't he?"

Erasa had once again decided they should skip class, so she, Videl, and Ivory were hanging out in the first-floor bathroom again. There wasn't anything special about the bathroom, but it wasn't frequented by too many of the faculty or many students and generally went forgotten about, which made it the perfect place to hide out if they weren't interested in their classes. Ivory would've preferred to stay in class, but Erasa had grabbed both her and Videl and dragged them off and Ivory was too bemused by the whole thing to even be upset. Besides, even with how annoying she was Erasa was a goldmine of information. Ivory learned more about this city from Erasa than she ever learned from her scouts.

"He was totally spaced out in class, and did you see? He flunked the quiz we had earlier!"

Ivory normally stayed quiet when they skipped but she couldn't help the slight upturn of her lips at this. "Perhaps something has him distracted."

"But what? It's not like he pays attention to any of the girls who flirt with him. And he's always been super focused on school first. What could it be?" Erasa tilted her head, then grinned mischievously. "Oh, I know exactly what it could be."

Ivory quirked a brow but continued inspecting her nails. She doubted Erasa of all people would have things figured out. "Hmm?"

Erasa sidled over to Videl and grinned wider. "You've been holding juicy details out on me, haven't you?"

Videl flushed, and it was enough to make Ivory look up from her nails in interest. Whatever was going on, Videl looked redder than Ivory had thought possible. "What details?"

"You know. How you and Gohan obviously-"

"Erasa!" Videl was quick to shush her friend, throwing a cautious look at Ivory. "We've only been on dates and stuff! That's it!"

Erasa laughed. "I'm only kidding! You're so easy to tease; it's cute!"

"It's not funny!" Videl looked upset but the whole image was ruined by the redness still present on her cheeks.

"Have you spoken to him about it?" Ivory looked up again. "We're all friends, are we not? Perhaps if we just talk to him, he'll open up to us about why he's been so…off today."

She noticed Videl flinched at the word "friends", but Ivory elected not to acknowledge it. They kept their rivalry or whatever this was to snarky quips at one another and thinly disguised aggressive comments that no one else seemed to pick up on. If Videl wanted to end things and reveal their disdain with one another Ivory would let her.

"Hmm, I guess so. But, as nice as Gohan is, he's really secretive. I tried to ask him about where he lives and how he gets all the way to Mount Paozu every day and he dodged the question. I still don't actually know how he gets to school…there's no way…"

Videl flinched again and Ivory turned her gaze to the girl. So, that was the location where Gohan lived? Which meant that was likely the Saiyan den. Had she acquired this information before, she could've skipped this little "seduction" expedition and stormed the den. But no, now she was in this for the long run; if she tried to tell her mother about this no doubt Kirsi would kick up a fuss on how Ivory had failed if she couldn't even acquire the Saiyan's dwelling location until now.

Besides, vain as it may have been to admit it, she really did enjoy the attention from Gohan.

Erasa seemed to lose interest in the topic. "Oh well. Let's start heading back. If we skip sports again, coach is liable to blow a gasket."

Ivory started to follow her out but Videl grabbed her wrist before she could get far. "Hang on Erasa. You go ahead and tell coach we had some lady issues."

'Oh? What's this?'

"Hmm?" Erasa turned. "Is everything okay?"

"Everything is fine!" Videl smiled and waved Erasa away. "Ivory asked me for advice about something earlier; she was too embarrassed to say anything before but we should talk now while we have privacy."

Ivory resisted the urge to roll her eyes. An answer like that would only serve to make Erasa more curious, not less.

"Aw, well I hope you help her sort it out. I'll cover for you but be quick!"

…never mind then.

Videl laughed her off until Erasa closed the door behind her. Then, Videl's expression shifted in an instant. In any other capacity, she would've been impressed at how well Videl could hide and change her emotions. Only, Videl wasn't that great at it; it could use work, but it was a decent attempt.

"Gohan told me what happened."

Ivory titled her head in mock innocence. So, they were getting this out of the way now? Fine by her. "Hmm?"

"He told me you two kissed." Videl folded her arms. "Explain."

Since they were being blunt, Ivory felt no reason to keep up the innocent act any longer and smiled lazily. "There isn't much to explain, is there? From the sounds of things, you already have the story. What good would it be for me to tell you the exact same information if you already know what happened?"

Videl growled. "Don't act all passive about this! You're acting like it isn't a big deal that you kissed my boyfriend."

"Because it isn't?" Ivory quirked a brow. "I fail to see why this is relevant. Obviously Gohan confessed it to you because he didn't want to lie to your nor hide something like this from you. Shouldn't that comfort you?"

'And the kiss was mutual, not one sided as you make it seem.'

"You…You…" Videl spluttered for something to say. "Gohan is-He…it's bad enough that Erasa still throws herself at him, but I didn't think you would be the same way. Gohan is naïve but girls try to take advantage of him all the time! It's frustrating to see it all the time, especially because he's so nice."

Videl sighed and Ivory simply stood there while she attempted to get her thoughts together. "You have no idea what it's like watching this happen all the time! He constantly gets hit on and tricked by girls and it's a huge fear of mine thinking about this happening! Gohan was almost too embarrassed to even talk about it and I can't get over the fact that he kissed someone else! To think I trusted you!"

Ivory tried to keep herself composed. She really did. But she couldn't help the first few chuckles that left her lips, and then the full-blown laughter. "Is that what this is all about?! You have insecurities about your relationship, so you're taking it out on me? That's pathetic."

She stalked closer to Videl like a predator to prey. "He cares about you, but you sound like you doubt him. Instead of appreciating the fact that he came clean because he didn't want to lie to you and because he cares for you, you confront me and air out all your woes." She chuckles. "His affection for you should have been enough to assuage your mind, but you simply don't trust him!"

Ivory laughed, patting Videl's cheek, maybe a bit too harshly judging by the way Videl hissed. "You have nothing to worry about. I don't intend to "seduce him" or "throw myself at him" like you seem to be accusing. However, if I wanted to…well…" Ivory let the words hang in the air and shook her head. "…a kiss would be the least of your worries."

Videl went completely still. "What is that supposed to mean?"

Ivory chuckled again, gripping Videl's shoulders and leaning in to whisper in her ear. "If I wanted Gohan, I could have him. This conversation would be a lot worse than us kissing. I imagine you wouldn't even stand to be in the same room as me. You've only been on dates with him and such? Hah! The "stuff" I would've done with him by now would've been enough to make even the most promiscuous of women faint."

She was lying of course. Ivory had never been interested in anything romantic before she was forced to get involved for this mission. She had already had her first kiss, something she hadn't even thought about until it happened. Her mother had ideas but she didn't care to listen too much. And to be honest, she didn't want to think about the…activities her mother got up to and especially didn't want to think about doing them with a Saiyan.

"But I would never. I do consider us friends despite how hostile you've been to me." Ivory let Videl go and swept past her. "And I truly hope that you get over these issues and realize what a wonderful, trusting relationship you have with him. Because who knows? Keep this up and you might push him into the arms of another."

She gave Videl one last smile over her shoulder before leaving.

Despite her…misstep in the bathroom, Ivory would consider her field test a success. She didn't think she would learn so much in a single day, she really didn't. But developments were made and she had to say, she was impressed; her mother had been onto something with this whole seduction thing. Throughout the day, she tested each of her mother's different techniques and found that some were more effective than others (light touches here and there, smiles, compliments seem to garner a lot of blushing) but overall used her own set of methods mixed with her mother's and the results were pretty amazing.

The attention was…nice if she was being honest. She liked knowing that he was watching her, liked his little stutters and blushes, even liked this game of cat and mouse they played. Because as much as he was trying to stay away, she knew she had him. Maybe she had him before this whole seduction thing and she only realized it now that she actively wanted his attention.

Not that it really mattered. This was expediting the process and provided a fair amount of entertainment for her. She wanted to take a more…active approach to things but she had Gohan's attention and that was satisfying her for now.

There was a wrench in her plans of course; after the bathroom encounter, she definitely made Videl more suspicious of her and the girl would likely refuse to allow her to see Gohan privately anymore. There was probably a work around to that somewhere that she could find, something she could say or do to convince him that they could continue to meet.

Armed with her mother's teachings, she was sure she would manage.

A/N: It's funny; I had a 12-page outline for this story where I had written out exactly how I wanted each chapter to go, and the chapter 11 I planned is completely different from the one I wrote here. In the original chapter 11, she finally came face to face with Goku (and also she didn't kiss Gohan until chapter 17.) and was heavily debating what her next steps were. Of course, I scrapped that for many reasons and I kinda realize how many holes I was writing myself into. But as I started writing and progressing here, I took little bits and pieces from my original outline to use but ultimately changed a lot. Because at this point, I genuinely don't want Goku or Vegeta in the story just yet.

Likely, it'll take a bit more before they enter the story. I want to build up the relationship first before I introduce more characters.

So…it finally happened. Videl and Ivory had a confrontation that went…kinda sideways. And Ivory is now totally on board with seduction, so who knows what poor Gohan will get mixed up in!

We're gonna be taking a small break from that as the next chapter will be flashback-heavy! This will dive into Ivory and Kirsi's relationship as Ivory grew up as well as how their relationship eventually dissolved.

Thank you everyone for your continued support!
