Enjoy the next chapter.

Sullivan and Opera watched as the blue-haired Changeling walked around the backyard. The redhaired demon looked up at his employer and hummed, "Sir, it appears that young Iruma is starting to break under the pressure of living in the Netherworld." Sullivan looked at his butler in confusion, "It's surprising really. He's been here practically his whole life and the only strange thing we've ever seen him do was disappear for a week or two every year for the past two years and no one, not even his little friends know where he disappears to,"

"I know, Opera, but my precious grandson asked if he can take today off for a surprise for his friends and I wasn't going to deny him, so I allowed him to stay home," Opera hummed and nodded before the two demons looked out towards the yard again.

Iruma walked around the yard as he stuck small rockets in the ground. Wiping the sweat from his brow, he looked around and smiled as he nodded, "Okay, I'm sure this will surprise them," looking up at the sky, he saw the sun resting high in the center of it, "I've got a couple of hours before school lets out. I'll call all of them, invite them and their families over and show them fireworks," he turned and walked back towards the mansion.

Stepping into the kitchen, Iruma got himself a glass of water while Sullivan and Opera stared at him in confusion, "So, darling grandson, what were you doing outside all morning?" Sullivan asked, "You looked rather busy out there,"

"Quite," Opera looked up and stared at the rockets planted in the ground, "It appears the mansion is ready for a great war,"

"No, not really," Iruma drank the water and panted before shaking his head, "They're called fireworks, they're a product of the human race," the two looked at him as he sighed, "I know I don't consider myself as human after my accident, but…somehow I went back to the human world last night after going to my room and…got some fireworks…I mainly got them so Clara, Ameri, Elizabetta, Haruno, Kerori and Eiko can enjoy them, but their families and you two can enjoy them as well…speaking of…grandpa, can I invite them and their families over tonight?"

Sullivan hummed as he smiled and nodded, "I don't see why not."

"Great…but…can you not tell them about the fireworks? I want to surprise them," Sullivan hummed and nodded again while Opera mirrored his actions and Iruma smiled.

Hours slowly passed and the sun had gone down as the six families walked through the gate of the mansion before they walked around to the backyard in silence. Entering the backyard, they saw as Iruma approached them. Ameri hummed and narrowed her eyes slightly, "Iruma, why did you ask us to come here? And why did you take off from school today?"

"Yeah, Iruma-kins," Clara pouted, "I wanted to play!" Iruma ignored them as he held a fuse in his left hand and dug a lighter out of his pocket with his right, "What are those?" lighting the fuse, Iruma stepped back as the families watched as the spark rode down the length of the fuse.

Hearing loud screeches fill the air, everyone looked up as the rockets flew into the night sky before exploding into a verity of colored lights and everyone stared with wide eyes as explosions filled the air as the colored lights bloomed in the night sky. Iruma looked back and saw the smiling faces of Clara, Ameri, Kerori, Elizabetta, Haruno and Eiko. He slightly smiled before he looked up and continued to watch as the fireworks continued to explode in the night sky.

The explosions soon ended and Iruma looked back before Haruno spoke, "What…what was that?"

"Fireworks," Iruma answered and everyone looked at him as he rubbed the back of his head, "I…I know no one here has seen fireworks…so…somehow…I think it was the ring," Iruma looked down at the golden band around his right middle finger, "I went back to the human world, retrieve some fireworks an-"

"The Ring of Solomon is incapable of sending someone to other worlds or opening interdimensional rifts between worlds," Henri narrowed his eyes slightly as he stepped towards the Changeling, "How did you get to the human world without going through customs?" Iruma hummed and shrugged his shoulders, "What do you mean you don't know."

"I don't know…I just swung my arm down, a rift opened up and I jumped through it," the fourteen adults looked at him and he arched a brow, "What?"

"Hold still," Mana sighed as she placed a hand on the top of his head.

After several moments, Mana sighed again and stepped away from Iruma, "I can't even find out what happened. Either the animals in his subconscious are keeping it a secret, or he really doesn't know,"

"Even still," Ameri's mother said before looking down at Iruma and crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes, "Until we figure out how you went to the human world, you should avoid swinging your arms like you did last night. You'll never know who or what can jump through a rift when you return or head out," Iruma arched a brow and held his arms out in confusion, "We'll…figure something out. We know thanks to your outlook on life that you won't harm a living creature, so if a flying insect is buzzing around you, you'll just ignore it, but that doesn't mean something could happen in the near future, so until we figure out how you went to the human world in the first place, try to avoid whatever it is you did last night,"

"No promises," Iruma arched a brow and the demons glared at him, "I'm joking, geez, kill a guy for making a joke,"

"Iruma, this is no laughing matter," Eiko's father said in a serious tone, "Traveling to and from the human world is dangerous enough, doing it without going through customs. There's no telling who or what can follow you there or back," Iruma sighed and nodded as the adults turned and walked away, leaving the seven teenagers alone.

The six demonesses looked at Iruma and Kerori sighed, "Thanks for…you know…showing us fireworks, Iruma," Iruma hummed and nodded, "But how did you get to the human world?"

"I don't know," Iruma shrugged his shoulders and shook his head, "If I had to guess, it was the same way I came to the Netherworld the first time, but I don't even know how I did that," taking a deep breath, Iruma rubbed the back of his and have a small smile, "Anyway, I'm glad you six enjoyed the fireworks,"

The six smiled and nodded before Ameri spoke, "You could've at least told us what you were planning, Iruma!" Iruma jumped back slightly at the tone in Ameri's voice as the tall, redhaired demon looked away, her face turning slightly red, "You had us worried when you flew off last night."

The others nodded in agreement and Iruma sighed as he shook his head again, "I'm sorry, but that would've ruined the surprise," the six groaned and Iruma held his hands up defensively, "Uh, but I can always be a bit more attentive next time,"

The six hummed and nodded as Elizabetta smiled, "That's good, and thanks again for showing us those fireworks, Iruma, they were beautiful," Iruma hummed and nodded before the seven of them turned and walked back to the mansion.

Well…things will be picking up in the next chapter. Promise. Enjoy.
