(A/N) I'm Back and I'm sorry.
My son has been to hospital on and off this past month and it's just been draining! I've had no time to write nor draw so everything has been put on hold. I've also been diagnosed with Agoraphobia so this month had been full on.
On another note, this story is going to have spoilers of season 4! If you haven't watched any of season 4 please be aware that there will be references surrounding certain situations that have happened.
Also a bit of a heads up, This is a Marichat fluff chapter. please keep in mind that this story isn't real and everything that happens is not what you should do, but people still do these stupid things in everyday life in the real world.
I do NOT condone these things in real life!
Please be considerate with what you comment. I'm only writing a story so if this isn't your cup of tea, just move onto the next fanfic...
Enjoy...
Her luck!
Why was it her luck?
Of all moments and all times Hawkmoth wanted to strike it had to be the day she let herself loose. No responsibilities, no care, just Marinette living a normal life for once in her life.
But no!
Once the akuma broke down half of the building she knew she was in for a treat. Ladybug was once again needed and she knew she had to get out of there before the alcohol made her do something stupid.
Alya ran to her side, grabbing her arm and dragging her away from Luka's protective grasp. Marinette knew she had a plan so it made sense as to why she needed him away from her.
He didn't once try to pull her to safety himself, instead allowed her to go off with Alya. His concern gaze didn't waver but he understood what needed to be done when she still had no idea he knew.
Dragging her friend towards a safe place where Marinette could transform, she got halted by Nino, grabbing at her arm and dragging her and Marinette towards the exit the opposite way.
"Nino! Let go! I need to... mph!" She hit the poor boy with her purse a few times, loosening his grip on Marinette for a spilt second.
The bluenette broke free and Nino screamed after her as she ran off, the swaying in her steps very noticeable. "Marinette! We need to get to safety."
She took a quick glance back and winked at Alya, making sure she got the message to stop anyone from following her while she took care of business. The reporter didn't have a second to breathe before Adrien ran after her, calling her name to come back.
He had left Bethany behind to make sure she was okay, but the girl understood, it was her first time being in the chaos of it all. She didn't know what to expect from an akuma attack. There was only tales told about them where she came from and now she got to experience the real deal.
Adrien on the other hand was more familiar with these sorts of things, so it made sense why he wanted to keep everyone together.
Or so she thought.
Adrien followed closely behind the bluenette until he had a safe place to transform. Then he would go searching for her as his alter-ego afterwards.
Marinette made it to an unknown room, an area somewhere in the backroom. She was glad it had been cleared out with the commotion of the akuma. There was no way she was able to explain how or why she was in this part of the bar when she didn't work there.
Her movements were swaying, she could feel the alcohol sinking into her system. Marinette knew that this feeling wouldn't last forever so she needed to use the adrenalin before it wore off.
"Tikki! Sp..."
"Marinette!" Chat Noir found her before she could transform, interrupting the magic to happen.
"Chat Noir!" Marinette gasped.
She rocked on the balls of her feet, looking around the room and avoiding eye contact with him. She had only hoped he didn't hear her utter those words, then she would have some awkward explaining to do.
But Chat had other ideas and grabbed at her wrist, trying to pull her out of the building and into safety. "You need to get out of here! It's not safe!" He hissed.
She pulled back, quite surprised how she managed to get herself out of his grasp so easily. It must of been the liquor making her strong, or maybe Chat wasn't holding her arm as forceful as it felt.
"I'm safe here!" She stated and stood her ground. "You have no right to tell me what to do!"
Chat turned to her once she had let go and huffed. "I'm not Marinette! I need you to be safe, please let me do my job!" He demanded.
Marinette took a step towards him, poking him in the chest as she spoke. "Your job? Your job?" She snorted and rolled her eyes at him. "Your job was to protect Paris and to be around! Not to pack up and leave when it suited you!"
Pun not intended.
Quirking an masked eyebrow, Chat Noir wasn't quite sure what she meant by that. Especially since he didn't really communicate with Marinette as his alter-ego as often as he did with his civilian self.
Even then she was always distant with him. But now he understood why.
He didn't have time to reply to her when she started going off again, another hard poke to prove she was serious."If it wasn't for your stupid handsome face and your stupid puns and all the stupid little things you do, I would of tied you up the first chance I got!"
Well that sounded very sexual in his opinion.
It took everything in him not to laugh at the deadly serious drunk girl standing in front of him, still poking hard on his chest. How she had that kind of strength really baffled him.
Chat went to turn away from her, trying to hide the smirk forming on his face. "Okay Princess, I think you've had too much to drink..." He chuckled. Only a little.
But even that was a death sentence.
"I'm not done with you yet!" Marinette screeched while she reacted for his shoulder so he would turn her way again.
Instead Chat's reflexes were quicker and he grabbed hold of her right wrist, pinning it above her head, making her back pressed against the wall from the force.
It was a big mistake to take the chance to smirk at her when her left hand took a swing at him. He caught it with ease, making it join the other hand that was still pinned above her head.
Leaning forward he purred. "Have you calmed down yet?" He asked wiggling his masked brows and added. "Feisty mouse."
They were so close, their breaths mingling between each other. Chat could almost taste the shots she had moments ago by how strong it smelt. His senses were heighten by his transformation so it made it all the more stronger the closer he got to her.
"You aren't so innocent yourself Princess." A low purr rumbled in his chest as he leant in towards her ear, his body pressing up against her own. "But I might let you tie me up for the fun of it." He chuckled and moved back to watch her reaction, wiggling his masked brows to add in effect.
Marinette's breath hitched, her eyes were half lidded. Shivers ran down her spine as his breath blew slightly on her ear lobe from those words.
His green eyes were glowing as he pulled back, her hands still trapped above her head. She felt at his mercy and it excited her making her thighs rub together eagerly.
If it wasn't for that stupid dream she had the other night and the fact he looked so good dipped between her legs; she would of given him an eye roll and scoffed so easily.
Damn that cat!
A smirk curled its way onto her lips, watching as his pupils dilate and his eyes going slightly wide at her change of demeanour.
The mewl that left her lips was almost missed by her partner as she leant her body forward; hands still pinned above her head.
"I'm sure you'll enjoy that!" Marinette purred, taking the opportunity to plough her tougne into his mouth once she saw his lips part.
She didn't give him a moment to take in anything, instead took charge of the position he put them in. Her body leant into his embrace as much as she could manage, her kiss was hungry and determined. Chat followed her movements blindly but was still frozen by the sudden confidence she had shown.
Finally his grip on her wrist loosen and his hands went straight to her hips, kissing her harder as her back got pushed up against the wall.
He lifted her up, wrapping her legs around his waist, so he could feel her body curve into his perfectly. They pulled, weaved and wrapped around each other like their life depended on it. The hunger in the kiss was too much but at the same time not enough.
Adrien wanted her, he always wanted her and seeing her bringing Luka out on the dance floor just made him want her even more! There was no denying now what he needed to do to make this all right again. Even if others got hurt in the process.
A soft moan rolled off her tougne when he pulled away from her lips and kissed down her neck, lightly nipping on the skin.
Chat made a low growl that bubbled up from the desire he felt for her, feeling it rumble into a purr as he licked over the small bite marks he left on her skin.
She wanted him, he knew from the first moment she confessed her love for him that she had wanted him. Now she wanted both sides of him! Without even knowing it was him under the mask.
Without her even knowing... he repeated in his head. Oh my goodness, what I am doing? He asked himself, stopping all movements on the girl still tugging at his locks and ghosting her fingers near his cat ears.
Immediately Chat let go of her and took a step back. First, finally clicking on that he wasn't Adrien at this moment but his alter-ego and second, knowing she was intoxicated while she was kissing him.
"Cat got your tougne?" She asked, a mischievous smirk plastered on her face after dealing him with his own puns.
"Marinette..." He whispered her name, getting pulled in again by her seductive gaze she was sending his way and by the scent of her perfume. "We can't..."
His lips were ghosting over hers again, so close to giving up and taking her there. He knew it was wrong but gosh did he want her.
"Am I interrupting something?" Alya's voice made the two of them jump apart so fast.
"No!" Chat was the first one to speak. "Not at all." His voice cracked and Alya knew he was lying.
"Well if you are done making out with my best friend, can you go save Paris now?" Alya asked.
Chat Noir only nodded and moved past the reporter, only to stop at the doorway to the room. "You won't post anything on the ladyblog about this?" He asked, making sure she didn't endanger her best friend and also so Ladybug didn't kill him. "Will you?"
Alya laughed before pretending to zip her mouth shut and chucking away the invisible zipper. "It will be our little secret." She finished with a wink.
"Make sure Marinette gets to safety!" He made sure to say before he left.
"Will do kitty cat." Alya confirmed with a wave of her hand.
Right on time, a loud boom sounded a far distance away and Chat Noir was out of sight in a flash.
Alya had turned to her best friend with a sigh and said. "When were you going to tell me you two were a thing?"
All Marinette gave in return was an eye roll before calling her transformation. Now she knew she wasn't going to hear the end of this when she became sober again.
"We are coming to you live from the streets of Paris with another akuma attack. That's right folks, you heard that correctly Hawkmoth is still around and isn't backing down." Alya faced the camera on herself before showing the footage of damage the akuma left. "Its such a shame to see our beloved city terrorised once again but fear not because our beloved heroes will be on their way!"
Alya moved her camera around, hoping that any second that her friend and partner would show up to please all her awaiting fans. But all she got was the dead silence of the night with the hint of crashing buildings in the distance.
Before all hope was lost, Ladybug was first to make her appearance. She had landed a few feet away, adrenalin and alcohol pumping through her veins.
The landing was horrible, her clumsy Marinette side coming through, but she was ready to take on anything! Especially since it ruined the only night she had finally let her guard down.
This akuma had another thing coming for it.
"Heres our heroes now." She almost squealed as Chat Noir finally came in, vaulting in behind her.
He saw her sway a little, the hint of alcohol passing his senses as he tried to approach her. Ladybug was on a mission and nothing could stop this alcohol fueled girl from her goals, so Chat Noir wasn't merely on her mind at this time.Well she had to do something to get him out of her mind with the earlier exchange they had.
He retracted back and leaped after her, hoping she had a plan. They hadn't worked in sync for a long time and he felt as though it was mainly his fault for always showing up late ever since he moved away from Paris.
This was one of the reasons he decided to move on and give Bethany a chance.
Chat Noir watched in shock when he thought he caught up to Ladybug, only for her to prepell herself into the fight without the element of surprise.
She punch and kicked, doing tricks he didn't think she could pull off with the state she was in. But he had been wrong before on many occasions actually. He knew not to underestimate the girls around him as of late.
She pretty much took care of the fight all on her own, only asking for his assistance when she needed his cataclysm. It was over and done with before he even knew it. The lucky charm was still in her hands, waiting to be thrown up in the air to fix all the damage.
"T-That's strange." Ladybug hiccuped, looking over the napkin in her hands. "I didn't get to use my lucky Charm?"
Chat could hear her giggle, not really understanding why not using the said item was so funny. He knitted his mask with a furrow and watched her sway her way across the rooftop towards him.
Before she got to him though she covered her mouth, her face turning pale under the moonlight. You could almost see the tears in the corner of her eyes as she desperately tried to hold down whatever was going to come up.
But it failed, she could feel it burning her throat as the vomit was rising up fast. She turned quickly to the side, away from the aim of Chat Noir and let everything come out all at once.
Chat stood there, a bit shocked at the sudden action. The sound of her taking gasps between coughs was all it took for him to snap out of his stare. He had been standing there for a full minute before he moved from his spot.
Ladybug's lucky charm was clenched in her fist while she emptied her guts again. He now understood why she hadn't used the item as it was meant for her all along.
"Here." He grabbed it out of her grasp and her gaze snapped up.
She almost put up a fight to keep a hold of it but when she saw the softness in his eyes she knew he was only helping her out so she released her grip.
Gently patting around her mouth he wiped off the vomit, not even disgusted about it whatsoever. Ladybug was so embarrassed about the whole ordeal but when she looked at her partners concentration she didn't see a hint of anything but adoration towards her.
Chat Noir was always too good to her and she always took that for granted.
If it wasn't because her silly crush on Adrien and being mad he left her high and dry on patrols then maybe she would of opened her heart up to him and things would've been way different.
Who was she kidding? She just kissed him as her civilian self just moments ago! She's always known that she loved him, she was just too stupid to voice it before he left.
The exact same situation with Adrien.
Ladybug was so transfixed on her partners movements that she almost missed him speaking. "Do you need a hand?" He asked as he folded napkin in the palm of her hand and closed her hand around it.
He made sure she wasn't touching any of the vomit that had got on the napkin. She knitted her brows and looked up at him, not understanding what he meant.
"-with fixing Paris?" He finished as though he could read her mind.
With a light gasp, Ladybug shook her head at him and bit her bottom lip before watching him take a step back away from her, allowing her the space to throw her lucky charm.
"Miraculous Ladybug!" She whispered, her throat still burning from the vomit earlier.
The magic swirled around them, even cleaning up the mess she had left in the corner of the rooftop, before the night had settled back down and everything was back to normal.
Well Paris was normal, her life was still a mess.
"Thanks Chat." Ladybug turned to smile at him, her giddiness seeping through her body language - or was it the alcohol still in her system? She didn't know anymore.
He smiled back at her about to reply but got interrupted with Ladybug's phone ringing. He was almost tempted to ask her who was calling but didn't press it when he'd figured it would be someone worried about where she had disappeared to in her cilivan life.
It was no doubt in his mind that she would be defiantly married by now, maybe a child or two since he had been gone for so long. It was only fitting since he wasn't the guy she had been chasing all through her younger years.
Ladybug glanced up at him wide eyed, fearing he was going to question her as to who was calling, but when he gave his two finger solute and stepped back off the building, she was aware he understood completely and allowed her to have that privacy.
Too good, she reminded herself.
"Hey girl, where are you?" Alya's face showed up on the screen. "Is everything okay?"
Ladybug smiled and nodded her head, afraid to use words around her friend. She was still intoxicated and the night she had was surely going to get her in trouble if she voiced it now.
Alya took no notice and continued. "I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me! Nino and his overprotectiveness lately has been driving me up the wall! Besides I got some awesome shots of you and Chat Noir! Girl I didn't know how flexible you can be with a bit of liquor."
Ladybug groaned, feeling the spilting headache; she was sure that was going to show later rather than sooner, making its presence known now.
"Maybe we should get you drunk more often." Alya laughed but Ladybug just rolled her eyes and hung up the phone, not allowing her friend to say anymore on the situation.
She wasn't up for dealing with her obnoxious friend now, she was getting too sober for that shit. Now all she had to do was figure out a way her drunk ass was going to make it back home.
She could already imagine the outcome.
