Coinshipping (Mazaki Anzu/Nosaka Miho)
. . .
Nosaka Miho had a very, very, verybig secret. It was so big that sometimes her chest kind of tightened up and her throat got all thin and it was hard to talk over the secret clenched in her heart. At least that was the one benefit to no one expecting too much out of her—they didn't notice when she had to stop talking before the secret came tumbling out.
"Miho—Miho-chan!"
Miho almost jumped out of her skin, squeaking as she hopped up from the bench.
Anzu skidded to a stop in front of her, gasping for breath, a huge grin over her already sweaty face. She wiped at her forehead with the headband wrapped around her head as she stood back up.
"Spacing out again?" she laughed. "The relay is over, it's almost time for the race!"
Banners flapped in the breeze for each classes' team at the sports festival, making soft snapping sounds against the air. The track was full of students in their gym uniforms, shouts rising up above the crowds and laughter flittering between globs of people as students ran back and forth to their positions.
"Ah!" Miho said, jolting back to attention. "Right! Anzu-chan, Miho can't believe you're running in both."
Anzu laughed again, and Miho darted down to grab an untouched waterbottle from under the bench, handing it off to her. Anzu smiled gratefully, then she popped it open and guzzled half of it.
"Yeah, well, someone's gotta show up Class A," Anzu said, grinning as she wiped the water off of her lips with the back of her hand. "I've got a few minutes to catch my breath, at least. You're going to be doing the cheerleading for that, right? You look great!"
Miho blushed. She fidgeted with the hem of of her long white coat.
"Thank you, Anzu-chan," she said. "Miho will make sure she cheers as hard as she can!"
Anzu's smile was so dazzling that it was like the sun beaming down on them, and Miho had to duck her head away, her throat closing up over the secret again. Oh goodness goodness goodness...it was getting worselately.
"I'm looking forward to it!" Anzu said, grabbed Miho's hands. "I'll be listening for you—I'll make sure to run my best!"
Miho's fingers burned at the touch, and she managed a tiny smile. A bell rang out over the field, and a shout went up.
"Line up! The one hundred meter dash starts in five minutes! Five minutes! Cheerleading teams, to your positions!"
Anzu squeezed Miho's hands.
"Good luck!" she said.
"You too," Miho said, clinging to Anzu's hands for a fraction longer than she probably should have.
Anzu gave her another dazzling grin, and then she bolted away, off to her race. Miho just watched her for a few moments with burning cheeks. Then she smiled, and hummed to herself, skipping away to the cheerleading tents. She was going to cheer super loud and great for Anzu—and maybe Anzu would be able to guess the secret when she heard Miho's cheers.
The secret was, of course, that Miho loved Anzu.
But it was just a secret. Just for now.

A/N: Look all I'm saying is that Miho fell for Bakura in like two seconds and he's very effeminate so Miho is bi and she likes femmes. Next is Cobaltshipping (Priest Set x Seto x Kisara).
