Chanceshipping (Kaiba Seto/Mutou Yugi/Otogi Ryuji)

. . .

"You're cheating again."

"I'm not cheating."

"You're counting. I'm not stupid, Kaiba, I can tell."

"Guys, please," Yugi laughed. "It's just a game. Have fun!"

Seto and Otogi both swung their gazes at Yugi, both of them looking so incredibly offended that Yugi had to laugh again. He put his hands down on the edge of his stool, rocking it back and forth a bit. Otogi shuffled the cards again, the remains from the last few hands of blackjack pushed off to the side. Otogi was dealing and Seto was the player; Yugi had only gotten here a few minutes ago and they had already started playing to pass the time until he arrived. It looked like Seto was currently winning, he had the most chips.

"By the way, Otogi-kun, you were cheating too; that shuffle is pretty obvious."

Otogi's eyes flickered very quickly to the blackjack deck, a faint blush creeping over his cheeks. Seto's gaze flashed at Otogi, brow kneading angrily.

"Hello pot, my name is kettle," he said, lips curling.

Yugi laughed.

"Okay, okay, deal me into this hand, Otogi-kun. And no more of that shuffle!"

"Are you going to tell me to stop counting, too?" Seto said, half glaring at him.

"You probably couldn't make your calculator head stop if you tried," Yugi laughed. "But you should try not to; it's more fun if it's chance!"

"There's no such thing as chance in games," Seto and Otogi said almost at the same them. They glared at each other with mortification for a minute after they realized what they had just done, and Yugi laughed again.

"Deal me in," he said again, scootching forward.

Otogi shrugged, and he finished shuffling. He had cheated again, Yugi could see the extra card flipping in, but he didn't point it out this time. Seto likely still had his count in his head; Yugi had come in late so he wasn't sure all the cards that had been played, which put him at a disadvantage with both of them.

Otogi dealt out the cards, and Seto picked his up, glancing at them.

"Hit," he said.

Yugi's fingers tingled a bit when he picked up his own cards, and he didn't turn them over.

"Stand," he said.

"You didn't even look," Otogi said, pausing in the middle of turning his own cards over.

"It's good enough," Yugi said. "I can tell."

"I swear to god, if you say it's because of the heart of the cards, I will punch you," Seto said, glowering at him.

Otogi flipped over his own third card.

"Twenty," he said.

"Nineteen," Seto said, lip curling at his own hand. "You cheated again."

Yugi just grinned and flipped his own two cards over.

"Natural twenty-one," he said.

Seto erupted immediately with a "fuck you, Yugi, you cheated" and Otogi immediately put his head down on the table to just start laughing until he almost fell over. Yugi just grinned.

Wasn't his fault he had a good feel for the cards.
