Caveshipping (Bandit Keith Howard/Ghost Kotsuzaka)

. . .

The starry eyed oh my god he's the American champion feeling only lasted about two minutes. Just exactly how long it took for the man to open his mouth.

Kotsuzaka sighed, sending a sidelong glance at the scruffy American. He was currently cussing out the other two, every other word was a swear. He was kind of dumb, though—Satake and Takaido only spoke Japanese, and they didn't understand a word Keith was saying in English. It was just as well, though, because Keith's Japanese was bad enough that Kotsuzaka felt like he needed a translator to understand him sometimes. It was just easier for him to speak in English, Kotsuzaka could tell them what he had said later.

He turned his eyes back to the cave that Keith had dragged all of them too. Creepy kinda place. There were like, skulls and things all over the place, but Kotsuzaka had checked them and they were all fake. Very convincing, though.

Keith's angry voice stopped echoing over the cave finally. After a beat, Kotsuzaka jumped when Keith clapped his shoulder briefly.

"So," he said, still talking in English without realizing it, probably. "Whaddya think?" he said.

"About what?" Kotsuzaka said.

Keith jerked his thumb at the cave.

"Graveyard field—fits your zombies, right, kid? I looked around specifically for a place like this for you."

"I can't imagine a lot of people are going to come this way," Kotsuzaka said, frowning.

"You just need one," Keith said, and he had a fierce sort of grin. It was a little…nerve-wracking actually. "Don't worry, kid. I'll have ya covered. You just do as I tell ya."

"Right," Kotsuzaka said, trying to feel interested in the idea.

Never meet your heroes, he thought ruefully as the angry, scruffy man walked away to shout at Satake and Takaido again.

A/N: I hate writing Kotsuzaka really, like please let it end. Next is Cavaliershipping (Yami Yugi x Rebecca).
