Game of DxD: Redux
Chapter 2
Sunlight penetrated the room through the curtains, lighting up the walls. Issei's eyes slowly opened as his alarm rang. He lazily shut it down as he removed the sheets and stood up, scratching his back and hair. With a stifled yawn, he walked to the bathroom and freshened up, brushing his teeth, washing his face and whatnot.
After finishing with his morning rituals, Issei stepped down to the living room, where he could smell his mother's rich cooking. "Morning, otou-san, okaa-san," he greeted as he sat down on the chair next to his father, who moved his eyes from the latest newspaper to his only son.
"Ise! Morning! You look tired. Did you go for around yesterday?" Asked his father, Issei, to their surprise, shook his head. "I was working out." He said simply, but it caught his mother and father off-guard.
"...Any particular reason to do so? I'm not against my boy gaining some charming muscles, but uh, what brought the sudden change?" his father asked, "You're not going through some kinda crisis, right?"
If only he knew, he thought ruefully, but that conversation would end him with him in a mental ward.
Issei yawned once again. "Nothin' like that. I mean, why not? Plus, if I'm going to score some chicks, then how would I do that when I'm all scrawny?" Well, the logic was there and Issei's father was happy, but...
"Hyoudou Issei! You will not become one of those playboys... unless I get many grandchildren!"
The boy deadpanned to his mother, "Your sole reason for accepting me becoming a potential playboy is to have grandchildren?"
Honestly, he should've seen that smack on the head coming.
After the usual breakfast with his dear family, ignoring his mother beating his father for making a dirty joke over breakfast, Issei wore a tracksuit and made the excuse of going out for a walk, even though it's the early morning. The boy walked to the nearest and darkest alleyway possible and made sure he's all alone.
"I.D Create."
I.D Create Active – Lvl. 1
Issei's face scrunched up in confusion, "level 1? Well, I guess that's fair since I didn't face the final Boss of the dungeon. Either way, Zombies – Lvl. 1." As the world rapidly transformed into the familiar city in ruins, he rolled his shoulders, before opening his Inventory and pulling out the two jagged metal rods he'd used the previous day. Planning to use the same techniques, Issei jumped atop a car's roof and banged it with the poles, the resulting bang echoing through the neighbourhood and attracting multiple zombies.
He charged towards the first group of four heading towards him. He smashed two of them away simultaneously with his rods, causing critical hits and instantly dispersing into clouds of dust. The boy stepped back from an incoming bite and retaliated with a short uppercut, followed up by a right hook to the face with all his might.
Critical!
The zombie transformed into dust, this time leaving behind a tiny pile of glowing loot. The Sekiryuutei bashed the last zombie's head harshly, resulting in yet another critical hit.
Would you like to pick up the loot? – Y/N
Issei relaxed, the adrenaline fading from his system supernaturally quickly. "Yes."

Crude Iron Sword
Item Class: Common
Item Type: Weapon
+20 ATK
•An iron sword that's been weakened due to its current state.
•The durability has been lowered.
Issei stared at the sword with a calculative look and gave it a few experimental swings. "I think I'm using this for a while. The wooden sword's ATK was 5, so the total amount of damage it would make with all the final calculations was almost the same as my old damage value. Though, this iron sword deals 20 ATK. 50% of 16 is 8, and 8 plus 20 is 28. Multiply 28 by 5…" After calculating for a moment what he would gain from using this sword, Issei held it firmly and placed the jagged rods back in his Inventory.
|Good decision, although I'll need to teach you how to at least swing the thing properly so you just not fuck up embarrassingly during a battle,| said Ddraig, surprising Issei a little.
"Okay then," he assumed a random stance, "Let's do it!"
|Back straight and right leg forward a little. Yeah, there you go. Hold the sword's hilt with both hands and don't be too rigid.|
Issei did his best to try and imagine the stance Ddraig provided him with. "Okay. Next?"
|Swing, but don't force it. When you use your sword, don't force your movements too much. Think of it as adding momentum, rather than power. And don't grip the sword too tightly. Now, go ahead and try.|
Issei hummed and looked at his sword, a not-so-clear image of what he should do appeared in his mind and Issei swung his sword, trying his best to redo the same movements from his mental imagery.

"...This is unexpected, but so very welcomed!" Exclaimed Issei, raising his sword with a sense of pride and wonder. Now, he had a way of increasing his AGI passively, and that was something he gladly welcomed.
|Now, try it. Cause a ruckus and lure in more zombies. You have permission to use my powers if you want, Partner.|
Issei stepped on a car and repeated the process, making as much noise as possible. Of course, a massive horde of zombies quickly appeared, all of them swarming towards him, though their deteriorated muscles and dead nerves simply could not let them run any faster than a shamble.
The young Sekiryuutei jumped down in front of the horde with a cry of, "Boosted Gear!" A red gauntlet appeared on his arm with a flash of golden light, with a large emerald in the back of his hand. The crimson gauntlet glowed with golden markings around the edges – the most noticeable feature being a dragon-like carving inside the green jewel.

Issei felt the power flare in him, his strength soaring to new heights. He dashed forward at a speed that he wasn't prepared for and swung his sword hastily at the heads of three zombies. He stumbled, spinning and nearly falling when the blade sheared straight through their flesh with barely any resistance, making him overbalance.
Of course, that was to be expected. Issei's STR had been at 16 and doubling that would get him an STR status of 32.
Issei swung his weakened iron sword at every zombie's head within range, while making sure to avoid any incoming bites or scratches, even if they would cause only minor damage. The boy also made sure to be careful of his footing, so as to not dismiss any crawlers aiming for his feet.
The many notifications to pick up the dropped loot annoyed him, but he managed to ignore them thanks to the number of dangers around him. Of course, the horde was still there, but so he was.
Ping!

Issei dismissed the sudden notification in favour of killing more enemies and grinding. He swung his sword repeatedly, either in a slash or in a wide arc. Of course, techniques were essential, but he doubts zombies would wield swords in a manner that can be admired as swordsmanship skills.
Issei dissipated yet another enemy, their loot dropping on the ground.

Suddenly, moving felt even easier; his eyes were much clearer, his muscles were straining, but he could feel the power striving in those cells. Right now, he had the Status equivalent to a level 20 being, his STR rocketing new heights when it became 64 points.
The slaughtering became much easier, and Issei let out a battle cry in the moment of it all. "Come get me, you cunts!" The shout attracted several more zombies, and Issei continued demolishing his opponents, his eyes rapidly moving from one target to another, watching their movements and dodging any incoming attacks. Their HP bars would all vanish in instants and sweet loot would drop for him.
Soon enough, the horde had gotten smaller and smaller naturally. Issei stabbed his sword onto the ground, sweat pouring down at an extensive rate and his breathing became ragged, blood all over him – but it's not his.
|Burst!|
At that announcement, Issei suddenly gasped in pain as the massive strength increase abruptly vanished, along with a good chunk of his HP.
What? The power-up only lasts for so long, unless you unlock Explosion, which allows you to use all your stored-up Boosts for an entire minute.
Issei sighed, seeing the logic. "Well, I suppose I'll just have to keep levelling up," he commented, "Now, onto the rewards, ladies and gentlemen!" He automatically accepted once asked to pick up the loot.

|I see an extra point in AGI thanks to your new skill. That is useful, Partner.|
Issei agreed with Ddraig's judgement. "Yeah, true. Either way, I want to try beating the Mini-Boss. How many zombies do I have to beat to bring him out? Or, do I need to do some other stuff?"
|Hmm. The System says that for this Dungeon, and probably most of the other ones, you need to kill 50 of the small fries, zombies in this case, for the Mini-Boss, and when you kill 100 of those, you'll get the Final Boss.|
Issei raised an eyebrow. "How many did I kill up until now?"
|Thirty-three. You need seventeen more zombies to summon the Mini-Boss.|
Issei grinned like a Cheshire cat at Ddraig's words and the small horde of zombies ahead of them. "You got it, old lizard!" He dashed on ahead and swung his sword. The first two zombies' heads were quickly cleaved in half, and Issei didn't even bat an eye towards them. Quickly, he swung his sword in an upper slash, slicing up a zombie in half. The zombie next to Issei attempted to get a bite in, but the boy evaded it by bending himself backwards, and death is what awaited the zombie.
After a while and after finally annihilating another seventeen zombies, Issei noticed that no more were spawning. Quickly, he decided to pick up any loot left behind.

Issei quickly dismissed the notification, noting in his mind that his MP was now 55, so maybe working on a spell or two would be helpful.
|You have a quarter of the amount of magic the average magician has, so do not get ahead of yourself. Understood?|
Issei blinked. "So the average magician has around 220 MP, in our terms?"
Ddraig grunted. |Not exactly. Mid-Class Magicians would have 800 or more MP, but the average Low-Class Magician would have no less than 200 MP and no more than 500 MP…something like that. I don't understand the scales of how magicians compare themselves, honestly. This is just an assumption from the time where one of my bearers was a magician.|
"You had a wielder that was a magician?" Issei asked with awe.
Ddraig snorted, |Some of them were, so I might know several things when it comes to magic. That's not the time now. Looks like the Mini-Boss decided to come.|
Issei's head snapped around, feeling a sudden sense of heaviness coming from that direction. A large, muscular zombie slowly walked towards Issei. It wore a biker-like outfit, leather jacket and the whole set, with a wooden club that has metal nails sticking out of it.
Quietly, Issei summoned his Sacred Gear as he got into a stance.

Issei felt the power rush to him and readied himself. His STR is currently at 17, and 17 times 5 is 85. However, with his weapon, Issei would deal approximate damage of... 622 if rounded up. He quickly inspected the Mini-Boss, "Observe."
Low-Tier Zombie Mini-Boss

MP: 10/10
Issei nodded and understood the brief information. The HP was high, so attacking recklessly would be an exercise in futility, especially since he didn't know how fast it was. "Inventory," bringing out the two rods he'd used as makeshift swords, Issei decided to throw one of them at the mini-boss.
It streaked through the air in a glint of steel, striking the... but it lost 0 HP, and didn't even seem to notice the impact. "So it's a tank-type boss. Welp, only one way to find out!"

Now, Issei's STR jumped from 34 to 68.
The boy breathed deep, before dashing forward in a blur, thanks to his AGI of 60, and leapt high into the air and slashed across the side of the zombie's head, streaking past it before it could even begin to move.
Issei chanced a glance at his opponent's HP bar, which had dropped from 2,000 to 1,680. "Not a bad hit."
He side-stepped an incoming swing from the wooden club, which smashed uselessly into the floor. The Mini-Boss seemed somewhat struggling to extract its weapon from the concrete, so Issei took this chance to stab its head as much as he could, managing two. The damage dealt was significant, dropping its HP to 1,040.
Heavy Bleeding!
-2% Max HP per second.
•Time remaining: 60 seconds.
|That is an advantage – press it.|
Issei quickly summoned one metal rod and attacked the Mini-Boss, but it blocked with its wooden club. Issei felt vibrations and shock waves travelling through his biceps. "You're strong, but..."
Issei, with his left hand, slashed the enemy's face with his sword, dealing another 320 damage. Of course, 7 seconds had based, which cost the Mini-Boss 146 HP from bleeding. Issei witnessed the Mini-Boss's HP drop down to 574.
"This is easy!"
Of course, fate was a fucking bitch.
A loud, deafening roar echoed from the Mini-Boss, who suddenly with an enraged-like expression.
Your opponent used Berserk
+200% STR for 15 HP per second.
"Ah, fuck." The Mini-Boss unleashed another roar and charged forward, shaking and shattering the ground with every step, but it wasn't very fast; in fact, its movements became even more sluggish. "That was such an awful spell to use, especially in such an open space."
His statement held merit because, in addition to the heavy bleeding condition, this guy would lose 49 HP each second, with only 574 HP left. Issei dodged a strike that would have surely ended him and started running away.
12 seconds passed. The Mini-Boss quickly lost another 558 HP and was left with only 16. The boy sighed as he witnessed that. A moment later, the Mini-Boss's HP finally dropped to 0 and it suddenly stopped, toppling to the ground with an earth-shaking THUD.

|Are you willing to continue to the Final Boss of the Dungeon?|
Issei contemplated Ddraig's question for a moment, before shaking his head in resignation. "Nah, not today. That's enough for now, maybe later. I.D Escape." The world around him reverted to Earth, the one full of life. He pulled his phone from his pocket and checked the time, seeing that it was now 12:09.
"Makes sense, since I left the house about an hour or two ago." Issei walked out of the dark alley he was in, which became brighter thanks to the Sun being at its highest right now. There was that same park in front of his house. The boy decided to walk there and sit down on one of the benches, relaxing.
|You're getting accustomed to the supernatural world awfully quickly. And just speak in thoughts if you wanna talk to me.|
'Like this?'
|Correct…|
'I think it's thanks to Gamer's Mind that this is happening. Plus, what am I going to do about it? Cower away? I have you, Ddraig. I bet the rest of the supernatural world will, sooner or later, drag me in.'
Ddraig remained silent for a second before laughing out loud, |Hahahaha! True words, Partner. You are the Red Dragon Emperor, so do not hide like a wuss!|

Do you accept this Quest? – Y/N
'Stray Devils? What are those, Ddraig?'
|Reincarnated Devils who escaped from or killed their King, before going mad from their unstable demonic power. Regardless of why they did such a thing, they are always hunted down and killed. It's somewhat justifiable, considering that almost all of them go crazy due to abruptly breaking off the connection between their own Evil Piece and their King. They usually take out their insanity by killing and eating any living thing they can get their hands on.|
Issei's thoughts were conflicted about the matter. While some of these 'strays' probably didn't want to become Devils, eating people was definitely not something he'd tolerate. 'Yeah, I'll do it. If they're here in this town, they might target anyone close to me. I can't let them do that.'
"Accept," he declared, no one hearing it other than him, his Partner, and the System. Dismissing the message, Issei decided to enter into the Instant Dungeon again. Taking on a Stray Devil while being Lvl. 6 was almost certainly suicide; his MP wasn't any more impressive than a Low-Class Magician's, his HP was barely as good as the average unimportant exorcist, and his overall power was not much better than a newbie in the supernatural world who had barely just unlocked his powers.
He needed power – and he needed it quickly.
Issei panted and slid down a building's wall as he finished off yet another Low-Tier Zombie, his clothes drenched in sweat from previous battle and blood that wasn't his own. Not too long ago, when he had reached Lvl. 8, he'd received a Minor HP Restoration Potion, which healed only 1,000 HP. To the supernatural world, that was a pathetically low amount, but to Issei, whose HP was a little over half that, the potion could bring him back to a pristine state even if he was at 1, if it wasn't for the fact that HP Potions did not work if the Player, or drinker, had less than 10% of their total.
Issei decided that, rather than spending his Status Points now, spending them later after a few levels might be a good idea.
With the Inventory wide open, Issei pulled out two items: an SNS Status Crystal and an AGI Status Crystal. When Issei had first received these crystals as loot drops, he was surprised and overjoyed by the discovery of free Status Points. However, the lower the level of the enemy, the rarer those drops were. Thus, those two were the only ones he'd managed to find in all that time.
Nonetheless, he was proud of his progress. There were times where he'd use Ddraig's power, and the Heavenly Dragon didn't mind. Of course, he would also get his occasional addition of Status Points here and there, since it could also be counted as a work-out for him since he was straining and training his muscles.
"Status."

As of now, INT and SNS were his lowest stats. His MP supply didn't seem too bad, but he knew that 135 MP could be drained quickly. His STR and VIT were boosted thanks to the magical item he'd found and equipped, and AGI was increasing thanks to his Swordsmanship skill. Finally, he decided. "5 for INT, 3 for SNS and VIT, and the rest in STR." Then, he pulled out both of his SNS and AGI Status Crystals and with a squeeze, crusted them into glittering indigo and green dust.
After dusting his hands, Issei called out, "Status."

Issei's eyes almost bugged out when he realised, after his quick calculation, that a single Status Crystal was equivalent to 5 Status Points. But then, it was somewhat balanced, as finding just one Crystal was difficult. There was a possibility of receiving one for his newest Quest, though.
He sighed and tossed those thoughts aside, slowly letting the tension out of his body. But before he could call out to exit this dungeon, Ddraig talked.
|Are you sure you should be leaving now? We're close to awakening the Boss now, and you've been stuck in this dungeon for a while. You've already become stronger than before and the Mid-Bosses were easy for you.|
A frown came on Issei's face as he thought about it, but in the end, he agreed. Might as well give it a try.
Once again, Issei scouted for more zombies, and inevitably he found them milling about. After a few moments, more zombies came running, and Issei effortlessly decapitated them faster than one could blink. That alone is proof of his improvement. The damage he dealt was higher than high enough to kill a zombie with a single shot.
Eventually, he realized that there were no more to be found. His guts told him that something was coming and steeled himself. There was no going back now.
Suddenly, his SNS Stat allowed him to pick up the magical signature of someone, or something, approaching. He looked in the direction where it originated from, and he found his answer.
A lean-muscled zombie stood there, his body much more composed than the other zombies, not missing any flesh. He wore a pair of fingerless gloves, leather pants, and no top. He exuded a stronger pressure than the Mid-Boss, and Issei used his Observe on him.
Low-Tier Zombie Final Bos
Race: Zombie
Level: 16

The Boss Zombie began to pick up speed until finally transitioning to a full sprint, dashing down the road. Issei quickly activated his Boosted Gear in preparation.

Your Level has doubled.
Power filled Issei and with his new AGI; he too rushed to meet the Boss Zombie. Quickly, he ducked under a punch from his opponent and delivered two slashes to the ribs, before finding himself on the defensive as the Boss Zombie ignored the attack and spiked its knee at him, making him block with both hands.
The Boss Zombie's HP dropped down to 2,696, which meant that its VIT Stat was at 76.
The boy was pushed back two meters, but he quickly bounced back and reengaged. The Boss Zombie leapt up for a brutal spin-kick, but the boy dodged it and slashed at its ribs once more. With his STR at 62, the damage was 255 without a critical hit and 765 with a crit.
Once again, Issei had to dodge a punch that was so close to knocking his jaw off, feeling a rush of wind from its passing, only to feel a sudden pain in his left side from a vicious kick.
-342 HP
The boy slid several meters to the side until he finally bumped into a light pole. His eyes watered because of the pain and he spat out blood. Quickly, he brought out a Minor HP Restoration Potion from his Inventory. Chugging it, a small smirk appeared as he watched his HP jump back up.
|Boost!|
Your Level has doubled.
Issei's body received a slight shock in response to the sudden surge of extra power, but it didn't hurt at all. Using his 92 AGI Stat, Issei closed the distance between him and his opponent rather quickly.
Once within reach, Issei stabbed one sword directly into the boss's heart and the other to its head, only for the monster to seize and deflect the latter. Surprise coloured Issei's face when he saw that the Boss only lost a little HP.
Issei's face scrunched up in confusion.
|It's a zombie, Partner. Even if you strike the heart, it is not a critical hit because that organ does not function either way.| The dragon explained quickly.
His eyes widened in realization, only to then narrow. If the heart won't do jack, then the head it is. Another dodge came as Issei narrowly avoided a stab to the heart by jumping backwards.
In terms of speed, the Boss Zombie was superior, but Issei could have a higher AGI stat if he just Boosted once more, and that might go for STR as well.
Or can it…? Something to try later.
Issei decided to back off and wait for his next Boost, which should come any second now. The boy ran away and started circling the boss to buy time. As his opponent watched his actions with visible confusion, standing still, Issei finally realized what the boss lacked: proper intelligence. Whatever fighting skills it had were like a machine, but it couldn't really improvise or truly react to sudden changes.
|Boost!|
Your Level has doubled.
Finally, with his new 224 AGI stat, Issei zoomed straight forward and cocked his arm back. Even as the zombie realized what he was about to do, its reactions simply couldn't keep up this time. Issei's sword streaked out in a flash of steel, piercing its brain in an instant.
Critical!
His eightfold STR, coupled with the tripled damage from the critical, was more than enough to kill the terrifyingly competent zombie in an instant. As it dropped dead and dissolved into motes of purple light, Issei couldn't help but smirk. Two days ago, he had been nothing but a scrawny, random mob character that would have 0 importance whatsoever in a show.
But now? Who would've thought that the Hyoudou Issei, a member of the Notorious Perverted Trio, would be strong enough to take down a creature that could easily devour students his age in record numbers?
Still... compared to the majority of the Supernatural world, Issei would probably put himself in as the weakest of the weak. Devils lived for thousands of years, and Gods were immortal. If a person trained their body, magic, and whatever skills they had for a thousand years, they probably would've been top of the food chain.
However, Issei was a human, the weakest fully sentient race of intelligent beings. Their average physical abilities were fucking worthless in the grand scheme of things, and most of them didn't even have mid-sized mana pools. Issei, however, had a Sacred Gear. One of the 13 Longinus, no less.
Such power, if fully mastered, could turn one person to be worth an entire army in terms of raw strength. And so, Issei came to a sudden realisation. Inside of him was a dragon who was several millennia old. It would be expected that Ddraig had learned magic, alchemy and other skills in his life when he'd still been a free-roaming dragon.
What if Issei could learn those skills? What if Ddraig's power is to multiply anything rather than just power? A testament to that can be the fact that he can multiply mana pools, which are considered to be untouchable – literally – by normal and most supernatural means. And so, can Ddraig boost the of his growth–
|That's enough, Partner.|
Issei snapped out of his complex thoughts and frowned. 'Ddraig?'
|Before you go any deeper into questioning my powers, I will answer your questions in order. Yes, I have learned magic, Touki, magical runes that range from Norse to ancient Egyptian ones. I can multiply other things more than just power, but I've never tried such a thing before. Never had to. Altering reality is something I do not wish to do, and Great Red oversees the state of our dimensions. Why else do you think he is in the Dimensional Gap? Either way, my original power to boost things other than strength or mana pools has been sealed by the big guy upstairs, and even if you manage to unlock it – and that's a big IF – unless you have a body that's as strong and sturdy as my original one, you would not be able to handle it. In other words, you will burst and die instantly.|
It made sense, he admitted reluctantly. For such a power to exist, it needed a container. And if that was not big or tough enough, it would simply shatter. Issei would need a VIT stat at a minimum of... of...
"Ne, Ddraig. What's your level?"
Ddraig chuckled proudly. |Kukuku... HAHAHAHA! Of course, I, the great Welsh Dragon, am Level 38,930!|
Issei had to keep his jaw from falling off at the ridiculous number. "You..! You're Level 38,930?!"
Ignoring his gobsmacked response, Ddraig laughed a bit more. |I'm several thousand years old, remember? Hah~ Either way, shouldn't you check the screen in front of you, dumbass?|
True to Ddraig's words, there is a notification screen. "And you didn't tell me this before, why?"
The dragon grunted. |Just finish up and go home.|

Issei winced from the numerous notifications that popped up in front of him. Even then, he bore a wide smirk in satisfaction. "Status."
Status
Hyoudou Issei

Title: None

AGI: 27
VIT: 26 +5
INT: 18
SNS: 14

Issei whistled at the improvement of his Status but pondered as to why he had 17 remaining points rather than 15. Rather than allocating his points or even exploring the new System features, he decided it was finally time to go home and take a relaxing nap.
"I.D Escape." Exiting the dungeon, on a whim, he decided to whip out the cash he had in his money stat. Discreetly, he slid his hand into the Inventory and pulled out two huge stacks of cash.
"Hmm. This much is good enough for today. Let's head home, I'm seriously fucking tired."
Ljmurdock86 said: make issei summon female servant from FGO and he will be neutral rias and akeno bashing please
Response: My man, I don't even watch any of the Fate series at all.
NSG: And bashing is for chumps.
GreekfanFT said: There are a few grammatical errors, but they're so minor in significance that your story didn't lose its flair! I like this 'pilot' better than your soon-to-be deleted story, so I have higher hopes for this one! Keep up the good work!
Response: Thank you for the support, and I wanted to buy Grammarly Premium, but some people told me that it's not worth it, so I got a beta-reader instead. Please continue to support me, and I'm a fan of An All Powerful Issei Hyoudou!
NSG: MINOR MY ASS.
OechsnerC said: Really like that you're remaking your story. But you have a lot of Grammatical errors in this chapter.
Response: Thanks, and I'm getting help from a beta-reader now, so hopefully the grammatical mistakes will lessen drastically.
NSG: You're welcome.
Jehu said: it's got potential but your top ten strongest list might be outdated. Then again there never was a solid clarification especially with dxd bullshit power scaling.
Response: Holy shit man, that's exactly what I was about to say. I researched for the Top Ten Strongest Beings list and I saw one... and another, and another... it's just confusing because most of them are so different.
NSG: DxD is not known for its stability or consistency…
Time's Avatar said: keep Going And Thanks For The Chapter ( Is This The Last Time? )
Response: It sure is, my friend. If y'all didn't like this one after a while, I will officially drop it and will no longer have any ambitions for it. Instead, I will challenge other people to make it.
NSG: Nah man
CoCoDu11 said: I just hope that this time Issei is not going to forgive everyone like in the old story (the manipulation of Rias ...) and that he is a little more deadly against those they deserve (he doesn did nothing to Raynare and the others when they tried to kill Issei ...).
Response: Issei will be a merciful person but he'll be cruel to his enemies, no doubt about that.
NSG: Also, Rias ain't manipulative. Get that fanon shit outta here.
Welp, this is it. Thanks for all the support and don't forget to check out NorthSouthGorem, who beta-read this fic and straightened out this chapter.
FFN tends to remove the underlines a lot. Fixed.
