Bladeshipping (Mutou Yugi/Pandora)
. . .
Failed. Failed, failed, failed, failed, failed. He failed. He failed to be worthy of his Catherine. The disk was coming, on its way to slice him at the ankles and let him bleed to death and he deservedit, he deserved to die, he couldn't even win against a child while using all his best tricks, Catherine would never take him back, his master would never forgive him, would never lead him back to Catherine like he promised—
"Watch out!"
Hands latched onto the chains that held his feet fast, and then he felt a hand curl into his collar and drag him forward and down. He landed heavily on a human shape, hands slapping against the ground, as the blades missed their mark, and he was alive. Alive, and unharmed. That didn't make sense. He should be dead. He should be bleeding out now. That was where he was supposed to be.
"Are you okay?"
This was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. So wrong. He could barely focus on the childish face that looked down at him, could barely feel the hands tight on his shoulders.
"Please, hang in there, you're okay, right? Just breathe. I—should I call an ambulance?"
"No," Pandora mumbled. "No, that's wrong, I should be dead. I shouldn't be...I lost."
"I-I'm trying to help, please. Just hang on, okay? I think you're i-in shock maybe? U-uh, I'm gonna—call an ambulance, please just don't move—"
No, this was wrong. Pandora shrugged the hands off of him and stumble up and out of the dueling arena. Away from the helping hands that shouldn't be helping him. Catherine was behind the curtain, right? He'd just go to her, and see what happened next.
"Please," he heard the voice behind him beg. "Please, I want to help!"
It was the last thing Pandora heard from him before his mind went entirely blank. There was no help for him, after all.
