Yep, this is the rewrite for Agetale. Yay! It will mostly be the same, but there will be differences. This is part of the "My Omniverse". I wanted to do a series containing a lot of my favorite series. I could have made this series a lot bigger, but the story that I have planned is one that I could make sense of. For example, I like Owl House but couldn't think of a way to naturally include it in the series. Now fair warning, the series will be a bunch of separate stories that will eventually all meet together into one final story.

"Okay, It's time for your test, trainee," said Undyne as she adjusted her orange eyepatch. "Any questions?"

"I have two," said Papyrus as he ensured his purple scarf was secure. "First, why am I taking this test?"

"Hmm?" hummed a confused Undyne.

"You want me to be in charge of Snowdin, but don't I need to have a royal title?" questioned Papyrus.

"What made you think that?" asked an amused Undyne. "You just need to be chosen by a monster with a high ranking, like me."

"Well, all other areas are watched over by someone with a royal title," explained Papyrus. "You, the captain of the royal guard, are in charge of Waterfall."

'Maybe I can use my paperwork as an excuse to see Alphys,' thought Undyne with a slight blush.

"Alphys, the royal scientist, is in charge of Hotland, even if she allows Mettaton to do the more public stuff," continued the skeleton as he ignored his friend's blushing face.

"Finally, my brother, the royal judge, is in charge of New Home," finished Papyrus before he pointed at a short skeleton wearing a yellow jacket. "Speaking of whom, why is my test fighting against him?"

"Well,-" started Undyne before Sans interrupted her.

"She wanted an excuse to fight me and thought she could take me if she teamed up with you," explained Sans.

The taller skeleton sighed before turning to the royal guard captain. "How many times have you tried to beat my brother?"

"127 times, but I know that 128 will be the one," said Undyne as she glared at Sans.

"And in those 127 times, did you even land a single attack?" continued Papyrus.

"Well, no, but I got close once," said Undyne with a fist pump.

"Why don't you train with someone else instead of constantly fighting my brother?" said Papyrus before turning to his brother. "And you, Sans. I know you're an adrenaline junkie, but I know that fighting Undyne can't be that exciting. Despite your low stats, you're the second strongest monster in the underground."

"Yep, I still love the look on people's faces when they find out how low my stats are," said Sans with a chuckle. "I fight Undyne because she's the best opponent I can find regularly.

"It's also good training for me," added Undyne. Papyrus sighed but ultimately got ready to fight. "Ready? Go!"

Sans instantly knocked the fish monster back with a kick before firing a bunch of bones at his brother, who blocked them. Undyne tried to counter with a fury of spears. However, Sans was ready as he summoned a dragonic skull with glowing yellow eyes. The mouth opened and fired a barrage of yellow bolts that tore through Undyne's spears. Papyrus quickly blocked the bolts before he launched a large purple bone at his brother. Despite the size of the attack, Sans easily dodged it by teleporting upward. "Well, Pap, are you ready to try using your eyes again?"

"Eyes?" asked Undyne, confused. "Are you telling me that you've been holding back in every fight?!"

"Okay," said Papyrus before he took a deep breath. "Here comes my special attack."

"A special attack?" said Undyne with a smirk. "Don't leave me out." She summoned as many spears as possible before combining them into one massive spear. Now ready, she tilted her head to watch her student.

"I can do this," muttered Papyrus as he summoned a giant dragonic skull. Undyne watched as his right eye began to flicker purple. "I can do this." Papyrus gritted his teeth as his eye began to pulse steadily. A purple sphere began to grow in the dragon skull's mouth.

"One eye?" observed Sans as he closed his eyes. Summoning nearly a hundred dragonic skulls, he readied his counterattack.

"NYEH!" shouted Papyrus as he fired a massive purple beam.

"NGAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH," screamed Undyne as she threw her spear. The two attacks met the barrage of beams and met in a stalemate. "Come on!" Undyne yelled as the two began to push back Sans's attack.

"Heh, you still have some work to do," said Sans as he opened his eyes to reveal that they were now both glowing yellow. Instantly, Sans's blasters all gained two yellow eyes, and their white beams turned yellow. The immense power boost overwhelmed both Papyrus and Undyne, knocking them out.

"Hmm," said Sans as he rode over to the two on a small blaster. "Maybe I'll work on that project while they recover. I'm so close to getting you out of there, G."

Notes:

Let me explain how Sans is the second most powerful but still has low stats. The answer is simple. He has an insane rate of fire, along with other things. Take two weapons. One does 200 damage in one hit, while the second does 20 damage in one hit. The first is stronger. Now let's add something. The first one has a rate of fire of 1 attack per 2 seconds. The second one, however, has a rate of fire of 20 attacks per second. Now, who is stronger? Well, with simple math, the first weapon does 1000 damage in ten seconds. Impressive, right? However, the second one does 400 damage per second. This means that the second weapon would do 4000 damage in the time it takes the first to do 1000. Sorry if this confuses you. It was the best way I could think to explain this
