"It looks like they've been waiting for us." Vegeta said with an evil grin.
"I'll say this once: forget whatever business you have here and leave this planet!" Piccolo demanded. Nappa's eyes widened as he saw Piccolo.
"Hey, I think the green one's a Namekian." He said.
"Yes, no doubt about it. It almost makes sense that Raditz would have a hard time with the likes of him." Vegeta said. "Namekians are known to have above average power levels, but they also have many hidden abilities too. I've even heard that some can perform tricks with something akin to magic."
"Huh... That explains your 'clothes beam' technique, I guess." I said jokingly, causing Piccolo to look at me with a 'are you serious' look. "Alright...so that's the tone we're going with."
"Speaking of the runt, he's here too." Nappa pointed out.
"Yes. It appears he has a death wish as well. No matter. It won't interfere." Vegeta said before turning to me. "It's been a long time, Orion. How's the Cooler Force treating you?"
"Hello Vegeta. It's been an experience, let me tell ya." I said placing my hands on my hips. "Can't tell you how many planets I've had to help conquer. How many people I've seen be killed right in front of me. You'd think a guy wouldn't need that many planets under his control or as much blood on his hands." I said with a disgusted tone, vile being spit out with the words at the last part. "Oh well. I'm hoping that part of my life is over. I much prefer living here, so I'll have to ask you to stand down." I told him with a serious look.
"I guess that means you aren't interested in joining us. I figured as much. Despite being an incredible Saiyan warrior, you've never had the fury and fierceness a Saiyan usually has. No matter. We'll make quick work of you, along with Raditz. How about the half Saiyan runt?" He asked, looking at Gohan.
"No way! I'll never join you!" Gohan told him.
"I see. A shame really. We Saiyans are a dying race. Such a shame that we have to kill you lot." Vegeta said with mocking sorrow in his voice.
"That's right. You might have 2 full blooded Saiyans and a Namekian, but you're all still bugs to us. We'll crush you." Nappa threatened.
"Heh, you're wrong about one thing. You're both foolish if you think your Saiyan power will save you from me." Piccolo said while getting into his stance.
"Agreed! You've underestimated me for the last time!" Raditz said while doing the same.
"Take off your scouter Nappa. It seems they can lower and raise their power level whenever they see fit, making the scouters useless." Vegeta said while taking his scouter off.
"That's right. That's how Raditz lost to his pathetic brother and the Namekian. He lowered his guard and almost got killed." Nappa said while taking his scouter off, dropping it onto the ground.
"Yeah. Never rely on scouters to tell you how strong a foe is. That's just asking to get proven wrong." I said, readying myself for the fight, only to be stopped when Vegeta raised his hand at me.
"You're not seriously going to fight alongside these fools, are you Orion?" Vegeta asked me. "I know you're much stronger than they are. You should be fighting someone worthy instead of what they are going to face." Strangely enough, his words interested me a bit. Damn my Saiyan biology, making me hungry for a challenge.
"I suppose you're right...but I promised I would help them, so I'll lower myself for just a bit." I said with a shit eating grin. Vegeta laughed at this.
"Very well. I just hope you'll be ready for our fight later." He then turned to Nappa. "Nappa, we still have a few Saibamen, right? Get them ready, would you?" Nappa smiled at this.
"Vegeta, you and your twisted sense of humor..."
"Saibamen? What are those?" Krillin asked.
"They're biologically made soldiers. They can be grown almost anywhere and they're decently strong." Raditz explained. "If I had to describe their strength, I would say that their power level is around 1,200. For comparison, Kakarot and Piccolo's power level was a little over 300 back when I first arrived."
"What!? Holy crap!" Krillin exclaimed. Nappa had finished planting the Saibamen at this point, and they were starting to pop out of the ground. "Eww... they're gross. At least they're shorter than I am." Krillin said. Just then, a few more power sources were felt, and Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu landed next to us. "Tien! Hey!" Krillin said happily upon seeing his friend. "And Chiaotzu! You came too?" Me, Raditz, Gohan, and the other Saiyans looked at the new pair with intrigue. They're strong, but hopefully they don't die this time around. Just then, the last person of the Z Fighters landed.
"What's up? Sorry. Looks like I'm a bit late." Yamcha said.
"Hey Yamcha!" Krillin greeted.
"Looks like everyone is here but Goku." Yamcha examined, looking at the group. His gaze then settled on me, Gohan, and Raditz. "Who are these three?" He asked.
"Oh right. This little guy is Gohan. He's Goku's son. These two are Orion and Raditz. They're Saiyans too, but they're also Goku's older brothers." Krillin explained.
"Goku has a kid and two brothers!?" Yamcha exclaimed.
"I see. It's nice to meet you." Tien greeted us. "I've heard a lot about you three. I don't sense any hostility from Raditz, and Orion seems to be a good guy. I'm happy to work with you."
"Wow! You're just like a little Goku!" Chiaotzu said while looking at Gohan.
"It's nice to meet you all. I'm glad I'm getting to meet all of Kakarot's friends. I hope he wasn't too much trouble when he was younger, though I can imagine he was." I said. They all gave a nod at that, which I couldn't help but chuckle how unanimous it was.
"Well would you look at that. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Interesting...that's the same number of Saibamen we have. What do you say? Each of you can take turns fighting our Saibamen. Let's see what happens." Vegeta suggested. "You know. A game of sorts." The group looked at him with confusion before Krillin tightened his fist.
"Yeah ok! I'm ready for ya!" Krillin said while walking towards the Saibamen, before Yamcha stopped him.
"Hold on, Krillin. Let me take care of this one." Yamcha said confidently. Before he could move, I stopped him.
"Don't hold back at all and kill the little bastard. If they grab you, you're done for. They can self-destruct. Finish this as quickly as possible so you don't die." I said. Everyone's eyes widened at the news, but they hardened as they all nodded.
"Got it. I won't give them the chance to get me!" Yamcha said.
"Did you have to tell them that? Now the surprise is ruined! I was hoping one of them would be caught off guard and get blown to pieces!" Nappa whined, making me sigh.
"It's a dirty trick and you know it. Why you 'proud' Saiyan warriors can use them knowing that is beyond me." This got an angry glare out of Nappa, who was about to rush at me before Vegeta stopped him.
"Calm down Nappa. Let's watch. Whether they know or not shouldn't make a difference. Weaklings will always be weaklings." Vegeta said. The first Saibaman walked up towards Yamcha, ready to fight.
"Alright then! Let's get this over with! Come on!" He said before he and the Saibaman rushed at each other. I hope Yamcha doesn't get memed this time.
Yamcha and the Saibaman clashed. Yamcha was doing fairly well, not letting the Saibaman close at all and finishing it off with a Kamehameha. Unlike the original though, he made sure it was completely destroyed before coming back to us to gloat. Everyone was glad he won, and the Saiyans seemed entertained at least. It continued like this for the rest of the Saibaman, each one being finished off by each of us. The quickest matches were mine and Raditz's though, since we both have experience fighting them and far outmatched them, being able to destroy them in one hit, making them explode. I don't like killing, but with the Saibamen, it's an easy exception. They're soulless weapons made to kill. They're not like actual people, so I don't have a problem with taking them out. Vegeta clapped once we were done.
"Well done. I'm honestly impressed that none of you died. Even the tiny ones over there handled their own quiet nicely. You all put on quite the show. Now then, how about we start the real thing if we're all done warming up?" He and Nappa stepped up to us, causing everyone to get into battle stances.
"Let me at them, Vegeta! I'm tired of playing around!" Nappa said with a sadistic grin.
"Very well. Do what you want. However, me and Orion have a score to settle. I'll be fighting him. You can take the others." Vegeta said while looking at me. "Come on, Orion. You've owed me a match since we sparred as kids on Planet Vegeta." I gave him a serious look before I responded.
"Alright. I'll fight you by myself. I still don't think I'm a match for you, but I want to see how much you've improved, prince." I said while walking towards him. "Let's move a bit to give Nappa and the others room. Wouldn't want to be interrupted, now would we?"
"I was thinking the same thing. Have fun Nappa." Vegeta said before we moved away from the group. The group gave me a slightly worried glance as I left, but I waved at them with a reassuring smile that seemed to put them at ease. After reaching a good enough distance away from the others, Vegeta got into his stance. "I've been waiting for this day for a while Orion. Your victory against me back on our home planet taught me a lot. I was furious about it at first, but I've grown because of it. You were much weaker than I was back then, but you knew how to fight intelligently, using your experience and cunning to win against my raw power, but now the odds are stacked against you. I have plenty of experience now and I'm still stronger than you. I wonder what will happen now." I smiled at this while entering my stance.
"Who knows? I've always believed that even a low class warrior can beat an elite if he tries hard enough. My father is the perfect example of that. Born a low class warrior but grew stronger than most mid and high class Saiyans. Even if you outclass me in every way, I'll still fight you with all that I have. I don't think I'll win. Hell, I don't even think I'll leave an impression of your armor, but I'll still fight with everything I have."
"And that's what makes you Saiyan. One of the Saiyans I have actual respect for, despite how soft you can be at times." Vegeta said.
"Oh really? That means alot coming from you, Vegeta. But know this. Even if I lose here and you kill me, there will be another Saiyan coming soon that will defeat you."
"Who? Raditz? The brat? Don't make me laugh."
"No not them, though I bet they have the potential to match you eventually. No, I'm talking about my other brother, Kakarot."
"Kakarot? But he's dead. He can't save anyone now. Even if he were here, he couldn't even beat Raditz by himself. How could he be a match for me?"
"He's been training in the Other World I bet. He's on his way back to Earth as we speak. I bet he's gotten several times stronger than me or Raditz. And don't worry about if he's dead or not. The Namekian over there has several tricks up his sleeve. His coming here has given Earth a valuable resource."
"I see. If that's true, then I look forward to fighting Kakarot once I'm finished with you. But enough talk. It's time to fight, Orion!" Vegeta yelled while rushing at me.
"Bring it on, Prince Vegeta!" I shouted, dashing towards him as well. We clashed, our fists connecting. We jumped back before rushing each other again with a flurry of blows. I'm no match for him. In the show, his power level was around 18,000, but right now he's probably around 20,000 or more. I guess Raditz pushing himself to get stronger gave Nappa and Vegeta the motivation to get stronger too. At most, my power level right now is a little over what Nappa's is now at 7,500, with Nappa probably at 7,000, which is a little over Raditz's at 6,500. He should be able to handle Nappa, hopefully, with the other's help, but with Nappa's vast level of experience and raw power, it's highly likely there will be a few casualties.
As for my fight with Vegeta, there's no way I'll win, but I can at least give him a match that won't be easy to win. I kneed Vegeta in the gut before grabbing his arm and Judo throwing him into the ground. I then tried to stomp on his face, but he dodged and punched me away. He then shot a barrage of energy, which I navigated through with relative ease, slowly making my way towards him. I used Jupiter Breaker on my arms and legs and rushed at Vegeta, giving him another set of punches and kicks. He saw the ki around my limbs, forcing him to dodge to prevent a serious injury. He then caught both my fists and gripped them tightly. We both were smiling, enjoying every second of our match. A match between two powerful Saiyan warriors, each with their own pride on the line.
Vegeta kneed me in the gut and brought both of his arms down onto me with a double axe handle, sending me hurdling to the ground. I stopped right before I hit the ground and flew up at the prince, summoning multiple orbs around me. "Comet Barrage!" I shouted as the orbs flew off after the prince. He smiled upon seeing the familiar move and dashed forward towards the orbs, dodging them as he made his way to me. We met and began attacking each other. Vegeta couldn't be super aggressive though, since he had to occasionally dodge the comet orbs that were flying around us. The orbs then combined and flew towards Vegeta, who swiftly dodge, but he wasn't expecting the shot to immediately turn around. Because he didn't expect it, he had to block it, the shot doing noticeable damage to his hand, though they were just cuts and bruises.
"You've improved! You're doing quite well! This is exciting! Show me what else you can do!"
"You want to see what I can do? My pleasure!" I shouted, creating my Sword of Mars around my right hand.
"You've learned your own version of Salza's move, I see. Perfect. Come at me!" Vegeta shouted, rushing at me. I kept him at bay with the large range of the spiral beam, but Vegeta was able to work around this using ki blasts and attacking my blind spots. Fortunately my training with Salza has already taught me countermeasures to this, allowing me to stay even with Vegeta. I managed to slash him a bit in his side, making him move away. "You've finally managed to do some real damage. Impressive. Let's see if you can handle this." He said as he moved both his hands near his face, a dark purple energy surrounding him "This won't be like last time! I've mastered this move, and I won't be drained after using it! Try to stop it if you can!" I smiled. This is the perfect time to show off my new move.
"Fine. I'll use a move I created that was inspired by Kakarot." I said while creating a purple energy sphere at the palm of my right and a white energy sphere at my left. I then pressed them together forcibly, causing them to condense and spiral rapidly. The ball's power grew immense very quickly the faster it spiraled. "Gemini..." I then moved my hands to my side. "Ka...me...ha...me..."
"Now! Take this! Galick Gun, FIRE!" Vegeta shouted, firing his beam at me. I quickly moved my hands in front of me, cupping them as I did.
"HA!" The spiraling purple and white beam flew forward, hitting the dark purple wave at full force. The beams collided and pushed at each other, trying to gain the advantage over one another as sparks of energy flew away from the point they were colliding.
"You've managed to match my Galick Gun!? Incredible! But not enough!" Vegeta said, putting more energy into the blast, pushing mine back at me. I strained to keep my ground and not get overwhelmed. I put everything I had into this blast, but even so I'm still losing ground. "This is the end of the line, Orion!" Vegeta shouted as he put even more energy into the blast. I was getting nervous. I truly thought that I could push the Galick Gun with my Gemini Kamehameha if I put everything I had into it, but even then, I'm only holding it back slightly. There was no longer anything I could do to stop it. His Galick gun overwhelmed me and pushed my Gemini Kamehameha back at me, engulfing me in the blast. Last minute, I tried to create Saturn's Shield to at least lessen the damage, but I could only form 3 layers before the blast hit, all three of which shattered in a matter of seconds because of how I had used most of my energy into the blast. Once the beam had dissipated, Vegeta saw me, completely covered head to toe in injuries and barely conscious. "You've gotten a lot stronger, and you might have beaten me if given the right chances, but I won this time."
"Y-Yeah... You're definitely stronger Vegeta. I'm surprised I lasted this long against you, and even managed to injure you to the extent that I did. Oh...well..." I said as I began to fall onto my stomach.
"Don't worry. I'll make your death as painless as possible." Vegeta told me, raising his hand up, charging a shot at me before suddenly stopping. "Actually, you know what? Not only would it be a waste to kill you right now when you clearly have the potential to keep giving me worthy fights, but you've piqued my interest with your talk about Kakarot. I'm going to let you live for now." He then picked me up by the collar of my armor and carried me back to where the others were. "I'm going to ask your friends more about that."
"O...k..." I managed to say, a little out of it. Now that I wasn't fighting anymore, I could feel how 2 power sources were gone. Two people died. Was it Tien and Chiaotzu again? As Vegeta made it to the others, I saw the bodies. Yamcha and Tien. Both of them were dead. Just what happened here?
