Atlantisshipping (Dartz/Iorei)
. . .
She was, and had always been, the most beautiful girl in the entire kingdom.
"Iorei," he whispered from the hedges. "Iorei!"
He heard her giggling from up on the balcony, and a grin spread over his face. He edged a little bit out of the bushes. It was so silly, and both of them knew it—they didn't have to sneak around. He was the prince of Atlantis, and she was a highborn noble well within his marriage prospects. They had every right to meet in broad daylight, to show the world how they felt for each other.
But this was just so much more fun.
He grinned as he edged a little bit more through the bushes to the roses that grew under her bushes.
"Hark," he whispered, "but do I hear a maiden's laughter above, or is that the stars?"
"It's only the moon," she whispered back, still just barely out of sight. "There is no one here."
But she betrayed herself with another splutter of giggles.
"Only the moon?" he said. "That's impossible, because the moon could only marvel at the beauty of the girl that hides above me."
"Oh stop!" she said, giggling, finally popping up and draping herself over the balcony, giggling so hard he thought she might fall off. "Dartz! You are an irrepressible gentleman! I cannot take it!"
He laughed too, reaching up towards the balcony so that he could barely brush her fingers.
"Perhaps you can take my fingers, then, instead, and pull up to the sky where the moon is," he teased.
He got another roll of laughter for his troubles, and he had to laugh too. She reached down the last few inches to grab his hand, and helped him scale up into the balcony. She yelped a little as he used the momentum to hug her, and both of them went tumbling to the ground with another laugh.
"You are ridiculous, my lord," she said, bopping his nose.
"So are all young people in love, or so I'm told," he said, smiling as he leaned down to steal a kiss.
. . .
A/N: Idfk anything about Iorei so I had to make some shit up. It was actually cute. Next is Ateloshipping (Keith x Pegasus).
