Orion's Perspective

I stayed on Yardrat for another month after Goku left for Earth. I had gotten much stronger than I was before, and was close to mastering the Super Saiyan form. I wasn't as strong as say Super Vegeta in the show, but with my continuous training as a Super Saiyan, I had learned to master its level of energy consumption and strain it places on the body. With my level of ki and Spirit Control and how I was staying within the form whenever I could to get my body used to the form, I eventually got to the point where I could stay as a Super Saiyan without any hindrances. Even as a Super Saiyan, I felt calm and no different than my normal form, which is going to be extremely helpful for the future.

I was actually still in my Super Saiyan form when I got up today. I had learned as much as I could while I was here, though I couldn't master any other technique than Instant Transmission. Still, I had learned a lot and was ready to head off. "Are you going to head back to Earth?" Pybara asked me as I was gathering my things.

"No, I don't think I will. I thought about it a lot and I think everyone can handle themselves if I take a little longer to get back home." I told him. "Besides, I can just Instant Transmission to them if I really need to."

"I see. Then what are you planning to do?"

"I think I'm going to see some people that I made a promise to. I told them that I would come back and help teach one of them how to control his power. I don't remember what planet I dropped them off at, but I can find them by sensing their energy."

"So that means you'll be a teacher then." Pybara said. "Despite the troubles you hold within yourself, all your self doubt and fears, I believe you'll make a good teacher and menor."

"I don't know if you would call me a teacher or a mentor." I said. "I don't think I'm that skilled. I'm just helping teach some control."

"Hmm..." Pybara hummed while he looked at me. "I am not sure if it is wise for you to leave right now. In my opinion, you should first learn how to deal with your own problems that you have yet to admit."

"My own problems? What are you talking about?" Could he be talking about the nightmares? If so, those are just minor problems. I'm sure they'll pass with time. So is there something else that could be a problem that I'm not aware of? The only thing I could think of was when I was scared of the Super Saiyan form, but I've gotten over that already.

"The fact that you either are not aware of it or refuse to speak to another about it is greatly concerning and is exactly my point." Pybara said with a sigh. "However, I don't believe I can stop you. I can only wish you the best luck in your endeavors." Pybara then walked over to me and extended his hand. "It was nice to meet you, Orion. I am glad I was able to teach you as much as I have." I smiled and shook his hand.

"And I thank you for helping me and my brother when we came here. I won't forget what you taught me, and I'll do my best with these problems you're talking about, whatever they are."

"And that's all I can ask for. Rely on your friends and family, and you'll overcome the troubles that you can't seem to see. Take care of not only those you care about, but also yourself."

"I will." After saying my goodbyes to Pybara and the other Yardrats I had become friends with, I walked over to the pod I had arrived in, but instead of getting in it, I placed my hand on it. I then took my other hand and placed my index and middle fingers on my forehead as I focused on sensing energy from a certain soft spoken Saiyan I met on Vampa. C'mon Broly, where are you and that massive energy you have? After a few more seconds of focusing, I finally felt it. Holy crap! Even with how strong my Spirit Control is and how that allows me to sense energy from farther away than normal, Broly's energy still feels like it's right next to me with how powerful it is. Well, it makes my job easier. With Broly's energy locked down, I used Instant Transmission and teleported away with the pod.

As soon as I appeared on the planet, I quickly took a look around. I didn't get a good look before when I dropped off Broly and Paragus here, so I wanted to look around before anything. I knew it was a peaceful planet with an advanced civilization, but I was prepared to see the pure white caste structures that made up the city that was near where I was. The light purple sky and aquamarine grass made the white stand out more, especially since the entire city was giving me a fantasy sci-fi vibe from how it looked. I didn't get to keep looking as I heard a scream that brought my attention towards it. My eyes widened as I quickly moved my arms to block a strike from an enraged Broly.

As soon as he made contact, I was forced several yards back away from him. Even as a Super Saiyan, Broly's attack still felt like I had been hit by a meteor. The attack was so strong it created a shockwave when he hit me, destroying the space pod as I was forced back. "Damn it! I was hoping to bring that to Earth to give Bulma some spare parts!" I shouted as I turned to Broly. Broly screamed once again and charged at me. I dodged and quickly striked Broly a few times in his gut before kicking him in the face to push him back. "Jesus, Broly! It's me! Orion! Calm the hell down!" I tried to reason with him as I dodged more of his attacks while dealing my own to him. I looked at his eyes to see they were yellow and crazed. Great... He's in his wrathful state, the one that harnesses the contained power of a Great Ape in his normal form. I should have known when I saw that his hair was spiked up like a Super Saiyan's. It's a good form to give him a power boost without having to transform, but he still loses his reasoning like a Great Ape. Damn it! This is going to suck!

"Sorry Broly! You'll have to forgive me later!" I yelled at him as I began to fight him with everything I had without trying to kill him. I rushed at him and dodged a wide punch of his before kneeing him right in the stomach. I then pressed my hands in front of his face and blasted him away. I then used Instant Transmission to teleport above him as he flew across the plains where we were in and stomped him into the ground. I used him as a launch pad as I jumped high above him and charged two energy orbs in my hands that I pressed together and spiraled at light speeds. "Super Gemini..." I started to say as the condensed ball of energy started to spiral faster and shine brighter. "Ka...me...ha...me...HA!" I fired the blast at Broly with all my power. The blast consumed him before exploding. It created a massive crater, and once the smoke cleared, I saw an unconscious Broly lying in the middle of it. I gave a sigh of relief as I floated down towards the powerful Saiyan. When I landed, I saw Paragus running towards me.

"You! Wh-Who are you?" He asked.

"Hey, that's a bit rude. How could you forget someone who literally saved you a while back?" Paragus squinted as he took a better look at me. His eyes widened when he seemed to finally realize who I was.

"Orion? Is that you?"

"In the flesh!"

"But...you look so different! Your hair is blonde now, and you have pure blue eyes!"

"Oh! That's right! I guess you wouldn't know what a Super Saiyan looks like." His eyes looked as if they could have popped out of his head when he heard that.

"S-Super Saiyan!? As in the legendary warrior!?"

"Yep! My brother, Kakarot, and I turned into Super Saiyans when we fought Frieza and Cooler. It's because of this power that we even managed to beat them."

"You beat Frieza and Cooler!?" I should probably stop dropping such massive bombs on him, or else he might have a heart attack.

"L-Let's get Broly back to wherever you're staying first. I'll explain everything there. If you want, I can revert back into my base form. I'm only really in my Super Saiyan form as a way to train my body to get used to the form."

"A-Alright. We live near the edge of the city over there. Help me carry Broly." Paragus said as we both picked up Broly and began to drag him back to their home. "Seriously, Orion. I can't believe you're a Super Saiyan. I bet you have quite the story to tell us once Broly comes to."

"Definitely. Let me tell you, it's quite an intense story. What about you? Have you guys been on this planet?"

"It's been good. Planeptune has been a nice place. The people here are kind to us and have helped us get settled in while we stay here. Their leader, Neptune, is also understanding of my son's...unique traits, but still allows us to stay, although she wouldn't accept how I had been using a shock collar to control Broly's outbursts."

"I didn't agree with that method either. It seemed far too cruel to use on your own son." I told him.

"Yes...I know. I never wanted to hurt Broly, but I didn't have any other way to control him. I didn't want him to kill himself while going berserk, and I was completely blinded by my hatred of King Vegeta and was fueled by the desire of vengeance at the time. I had convinced myself that the shock collar was the only way. Neptune wouldn't have it though, so I was forced to remove the collar and try to train Broly to not go berserk without it. Somehow, things have been going well in training my son, but sometimes, like today, he still goes berserk and he goes on a rampage. Sometimes he tires himself out, while other times, Neptune herself comes and knocks Broly out like you did."

"She must be pretty strong to be able to handle Broly. I'm a Super Saiyan and he was managing to hurt me with his attacks even though I was blocking them."

"Yes, but she isn't stronger than him. She is just strong enough to be able to handle him and take him out with strategy."

"Really now? That's quite impressive. It's always nice to see someone prove that a fight isn't always decided with just strength. Intellect and strategy is needed in a fight as well, along with experience and skill."

"Yes, that's true. It's actually quite the sight to see her fight. She has actually been kind enough to give Broly a few tips about how to control his power and how to act in a fight. That's Broly's talent, actually. While being here, I've found how well he can adapt to an opponent in a fight and how he learns things more easily than others."

"Then it should be quite easy for him to pick up what I'm going to teach him. If he learns better ki control and spirit control, then he should have a much easier time controlling his power and limiting himself so he doesn't lose control of his energy."

"You really think so?"

"I know so. It helped me better control the Super Saiyan form. You see, to become a Super Saiyan, you need to reach a certain level of power and then trigger the form with intense emotion, like anger. The way my brother and I achieved the form was by...watching our friends and our other brother be killed by Frieza and Cooler. Watching them die in front of us triggered the form, and we lost ourselves in our rage and hatred for most of the fight. But with some training, we learned to control the form."

"Really? That must have been hard for you both."

"Yeah. The experience was so bad that I almost never wanted to turn into a Super Saiyan again, but after learning how to control it, I've been fine."

"Then let's hope Broly can learn it easily then." Paragus and I then made it to their house, which was on the literal edge of the city and brought Broly inside. After he rested a bit, Broly eventually woke up. He apologized for losing control and shared the same level of shock as his father at my appearance and status as a Super Saiyan. I then began to tell them both what had happened after I dropped them off on this planet. The meeting with my brothers, the fight they had, the year we spent preparing for the Saiyan invaders, my death, my training in the Other World, and the battle on Namek. It was quite the story that the two of them seemed to be completely immersed in.

"That sounds incredible. I am glad you made it out alright." Broly told me.

"Yeah, it was pretty crazy. We were riding by the seat of our pants at the end there." I said while laughing. "But we made it out ok. From what King Kai told us, everyone's back on Earth, living happily while they await our return."

"So how come you have gone back yet?" Paragus asked me. "From what you've said, you could easily just use that Instant Transmission skill to teleport straight to Earth, so why don't you?"

"Well, I know that the others can handle themselves while I'm away. And I wanted to get started on that promise I made to you when we met. I should have a few more months before I think something bad will happen on Earth." I told him. "So what do you say, Broly? Think you could handle some lessons from me?" Broly nodded excitedly when I said that.

"I look forward to learning what you have to teach me."

"Good. Now then, I'm going back to those plains we were in to pick up what remains of that pod I brought alone. Hopefully there's still some parts that Bulma can get some use out of."

"Ah...sorry about that." Broly said apologetically while scratching the back of his head.

"Nah, don't worry about it. If you really want to make it up to me, make sure to keep what I tell you about ki and spirit control with you after I teach it to you." Broly nodded and I left to gather the parts. I found myself thinking about what Pybara said about me being a mentor. I have never been in that sort of mentor rule before. Sure I helped people learn a job or two in my old life, and I helped Gohan train for the Saiyans, as well as help Yamcha and Tien learn the Kaioken, but those were never truly being a mentor. But now, I'm going to be teaching Broly one on one. Will I be able to be a good teacher? A good mentor? I don't feel like that honor suits me, but I'm the only one who can help Broly control his power. I can only hope that I can do a proper job.

"Good! Now keep focus while you attack!" I told Broly as we exchanged blows. Broly nodded as he continued to attack me. He was in his wrathful form, but it was weaker than when he goes berserk, and he was actually in control. We continued to fight until we broke up with each other. "Whew! Nice work, Broly! That'll be it for today."

"Yes. Thank you, Orion." Broly said as he bowed, relaxing enough to revert out of his wrathful state. He has gotten better at controlling the power of the Great Ape, though he can't use all of its power. It is accurate to compare Broly to Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia right now. He can only access and control a certain percentage of his power at the moment without losing control. He picked up Spirit Control pretty quickly and soon learned much better ki and spirit control, letting him use that power at will. By my estimates, he can use around 30% of his power without losing control. But even with only 30% of that power, he was as strong as me, and maybe even stronger.

Suffice to say, Broly's training has been going considerably well. Paragus has been blown away with how well our training sessions have been going and is incredibly happy. I've also met the ruler of this planet, Neptune during the few months that I've been on Planeptune. She was surprisingly nice, as well as carefree, yet she still retained an elegant air about her and could be serious when the situation called for it. The two of us actually have become good friends. She has come to visit us a couple times throughout the week and helps me train Broly sometimes, as well as helping me with my own training. We've spared a few times, and I'm always stunned by how she can keep up with me even as a Super Saiyan and how tough her black armor was. Paragus was right on the noise with describing her. I actually learned alot from her that I didn't think I would, like strategy, and since she wielded a sword, I learned quite a bit more about swordsmanship, as well as new ways to use my Sword of Mars.

Neptune also had new clothes made for me and Broly. I still wore the Yardrat outfit that they gave me, but on top of it, I wore a white hooded jacket that had purple frills and outlines, along with the purple 'N' logo of Planeptune on the back and my galaxy crest on the front right side of the jacket. Broly was wearing the same white and green armor that he was wearing from before, which was very similar to Saiyan armor with added parts that made it look more technological, but this new set had my galaxy crest on it as well. These outfits were also made using the Saiyan armor Paragus wore when he got here as a basis, so they had the same elasticity and comfort.

During my stay here, both Broly and even Neptune as asked about Broly learning the Super Saiyan form, but I told them until he can control 100% of his Great Ape power in his wrathful state, there was no way in hell I was going to teach him how to turn into a Super Saiyan, as that form's power is 50x his base form, and 500x his power with the wrathful form. There's no way he can control Super Saiyan right now, and if he did trigger the form it's possible he could destroy the entire planet since no one in the universe right now could even match him. I say this knowing full well that Broly is not nearly as strong as he was in the Super Broly Movie, since that takes place approximately 10 years from now, and with how Broly has a much better grasp on his power right now than in canon. Despite this, if his Super Saiyan form is as powerful as how I think it is at the moment, then we would at least need someone on Majin Buu's level to handle him, and that's not including his full powered Legendary Super Saiyan form.

Broly has come a long way, and I'm sure that he'll only become stronger from here. I'm brought back to reality once we had made it back to the house. "Ah! Orion, Broly! Welcome back." Paragus greeted us.

"Hello, father." Broly greeted back. Their relationship has gotten much better since they have arrived here, I've noticed. It must be because the shock collar is gone now. Broly and Paragus seem much happier.

"How did the training go?" Paragus asked us.

"Very well! I think it's safe to say that Broly has gotten quite far with his spirit control. I'm extremely proud of him." I told Paragus.

"That's good. I knew he had it in him." Paragus then turned to me with a saddened look. "You'll be leaving for Earth within the next month, is that right?"

"Yeah. I'm sure I'll be needed there at that time. Besides, I think I'm getting close to teaching Broly everything I know, save for my techniques." I said while laughing. "But seriously, I'll be sad to go too. You shouldn't worry though. I'll definitely come back to visit you guys from time to time and to check up on Broly."

"We'll love to have you when you do come to visit." Paragus said. "Who knows? Maybe we'll even come to visit you on Earth one of these days."

"Oh really? You do know that Prince Vegeta is now living on Earth, right?" I said teasingly.

"As if the Prince scares me." Paragus shot back. "I couldn't care less about Vegeta. I've let go of the past a while ago. I'm just happy that my son is learning to control his power and live happily."

"Is that so? I'm happy that you've grown so much." I told him. "I'm sure you'll love Earth if you do visit. It's beautiful like this planet."

"Hmph. We'll see." Paragus answered back.

"I would like to visit Earth too, one day. From what you've told us about it, I think I would like it very much." Broly added.

"Of course. I'm sure you'll be able to come to Earth one day." I told him. Yeah, who knows? Since Broly and Paragus are here now instead of Vampa in this timeline, maybe they can have a nice visit to Earth. Maybe Broly will save us one day. Either way, I have a few more weeks here before I have to go back to Earth. Androids await us, after all.
