"I'm here!" Zeldris yelled as he walked in the classroom.
"Hi Zeldris!"
"Hey..."
Grayroad was too busy eating devilishly sweet candy to notice, also prepared to run if someone tries to take some.
"Nearly late again, Zeldris." Derieri said with a smirk. "So?" Zeldris asked, getting in his seat. "Word around her says the last kid that was late was never again." Derieri warned. Zeldris wasn't fearful at all, rather felt like he was being challenged. "Bring it on!" He said, determined. "Come on Grayroad. You don't have any left?" Melascula pestered. "No! I usually eat mine before I get her." Grayroad said, having one of her faces throw it the trash away. Melascula pouted and went back to her seat. "Where do you guys buy this stuff anyway?" Zeldris asked, wanting some himself. "The devilishly sweet candy cart!" Melascula said. "Only cost one coin for one piece." Monspeet said, relaxed in his seat. Zeldris was so going to get Cusack to take him. He wasn't allowed out of the castle by himself since his powers haven't fully developed yet.
"Good morning, everyone." A thin red demon came into the room. He was said to be a great trainer of young demons so that's why Zeldris was put in his care. "Morning." Everyone said. "Alright, today's gonna be quite easy. All you have to do is take the piece of paper on your desk and write...What commandment you would like to receive and why?" He instructed.
"That's it?! Sweet, I know what I want." Grayroad said, picking up the pencil she had with one of her faces. "Does everyone know every power of the commandments?" The teacher asked. Everyone was nodded. "Alright. Take your time to decide."
Zeldris thought long and hard. His current dream: Defeat Meliodas and become the leader of the commandments! He knew which commandment could help him achieve it. Piety! He wrote all of it down, made about half a page. He took it to the teacher, being the first to finish. The teacher was shocked that he was able to read it. His handwriting was actually decent. "Wow! For a kid, he knows what he wants." Melascula thought to herself. She asked her mom what commandment would best fit her earlier. She said faith because Melascula's loyalty. She decided to pick that one, wrote her reason, and did the same as Zeldris. Derieri wanted something tough to go with her tomboy personality. Purity...if she has it, no one can perform an impure deed in front of her or be infected with illness. What couldn't sound better. Everyone must be pure around her, oh the things she could do with that power.
Monspeet immediately picked reticence as revenge for a certain someone who has ways of expressing his true feelings.
Grayroad had one idea. Pacifism. She liked the idea of peace and if one of her friends die, the killer dies too.
A few minutes later
Everyone's papers were turned in and now were allowed to play and talk however no one could say what they picked yet.
