This is the climax and finale of The Blades Arc.

Next chapter will go back to being more cushy for a little bit! Author's notes will be at the bottom.

Thank you, and please enjoy.

Treading down the dimly orange-lit corridors of Vault 937's rusty interior, Kaneki felt on edge the entire time as he followed his Pipboy's waypoint to the nearly century-old laboratory. With his automatic rifle raised up, Kaneki turned around the corner of a hallway leading him through the residential area, and decided to poke around to see if perhaps he could find any supplies within the apartments he was passing by.

With the most abundant sighting within each apartment being the mummified remains of each family who succumb to the spores from long ago, the majority of what Kaneki found to be somewhat useful consisted of still-sealed packaged goods, including food, purified water, and a few regular Stimpaks that some of the old vault dwellers managed to get their hands on. Stuffing his bag with a few bottles of water, Kaneki was knelt down on the floor of a living room, when he all of a sudden heard the sound of the rusty front sliding door of the vault apartment screech open.

Immediately standing up and turning around, Kaneki took aim down his M1A1's scope at the pale-white short figure, dressed in ratty blood-stained robes, with an unnerving triangular shaped helmet with various moons drawn along its stained-white surface— all of which were etched with dried blood. Breathing raspy breaths through its medieval-inspirers helmet, the ghoul had its pale-white arms stretched out from the dirty sleeves of its tattered robes— giving Kaneki full sight of its ungodly long claws, along with a black shiny tendrils coming out of the thin slits of its helmet.

"B-Bright one… S-Shiney one… B-Blessed one," the pale-white ghoul gurgled out with a raspy voice, as its body made jerky movements as it slowly began walking toward Kaneki. "Youuuurrrr… L-Light is the softness of h-heaven….. The quiet raaaaayssssss… G-Guide us… T-Through the dar-"

Before the psychotic ghoul could continue to ramble on while shambling towards Kaneki, the one-eyed pulled down on the trigger of his automatic rifle and blew chunk-after-meaty-chunk off of the Blade's head— causing thick black-viscus and shredded pieces of its metal helmet to fly off, as it stumbled backwards from the force until falling on to the floor.

Thinking that twenty bullets were enough to get the job done, Kaneki felt a cold shiver run down his back as he watched the pale-skinned ghoul get back onto its dirty-bare feet. Although it was completely headless, black tendrils were pouring out where its neck once was, and soon the jet-black extra appendages took the shape of a Venus-fly trap's head, before becoming pale white as well. Letting out an ungodly high-pitch scream, the white monster began sprinting toward Kaneki with its claws raised up over its head.

Unraveling his kagune, Kaneki immediately shot out his four tendrils to pierce them through the body of the Blade, but was surprised to see that the ghoul didn't react to getting its insides scrambled. Not waiting for the monster to use its claws to free itself from his tendrils, Kaneki activated his Pipboy's V.A.T.S. to pinpoint the feral ghoul's weakness. Following the directions of his arm's AI provided targets, Kaneki fired the remaining ten bullets into the wrists of the monster, before quickly reloading to empty another magazine into its thighs.

Having dismembered the limbs of the ghoul, Kaneki pulled his tendrils out of its body, before proceeding to slam them repeatedly down on its limbless body— creating a crater in the floor that dented the metal and cracked the concrete foundation beneath the living room. Pulling his kagune away from the splattered mess of limbs and gore from the crater he had created, Kaneki was astonished to see the leftover of the monster stringing itself back together with its kakuja to form itself into a rake-like creature.

Letting out a roar from its black mouth with its unhinged jaw, which stretched down far farther than it had any right to, the Blade used its new frail limbs to leap up towards Kaneki with its claws raised up again. Ducting down and side rolling on the floor to avoid being pinned to the floor and shredded alive, Kaneki made the Blade stumble by unloading another magazine into its head and body— buying him enough time to pull out his quinque.

Needing to sacrifice the rifle by using it as a shield, Kaneki watched as the unrelenting feral ghoul slashed apart the empty-mag firearm into shrapnel. Before the Blade could bring its arms back up over its twisted head to follow up with another devastating attack, Kaneki delivered a powerful kick down on its frail knee— causing it to fall onto the floor on one knee. Remembering what the notes had said earlier about those injected with a Super Stimpak, and how they could survive grave injuries only to a certain extent of times, Kaneki proceeded to chop the monster apart into bloodied ribbons— severing it's limbs and head once again, before hacking its torso into pieces.

By the time that Kaneki had finally made sure that the 'White Zetsu' had stopped moving, his battle suit was coated in a layer of its blood, and the living room looked more akin to a slaughter house than an actual room one would find in an apartment. Having wasted all of his ammo along with the firearm he took with him, all for one enemy, Kaneki was left with just his quinque and kagune to defend himself against the ravenous monsters that the Blades had become.

Needing to rely on his dark-centipede kakuja to lay waste to the rest of the White Zetsu that were once proud members of The Blades, Kaneki received his fair share of injuries that required him to tap into his own supply of artificial rations, after his body would drain the RC-cells out of his kakuhou sacs, just so it could regenerate.

Having suffered so many cuts from the claws and teeth of the feral ghouls who had tried taking his life while rambling on prayers to the Moon, it wasn't until Kaneki began to hear incoherent whispers coming from all directions did he finally think to do an integrity check on his breathing apparatus. Feeling up on his leather mask with his fingertips, Kaneki felt his heart skip a beat after realizing that his mask had torn during one of his many scuffles with the Moon-worshiping zealots.

As quickly as he could, Kaneki practically ripped the backpack off of his body before unzipping it. Rifling through his bag's contents, Kaneki eventually came across a roll of medical tape and some gauss. Quickly, Kaneki broke off a piece of gauss and pressed it up against the cut in his mask, before sealing it tightly with as much medical tape as he could wrap around his neck.

'That Hawaiian doctor… She mentioned that the spores shouldn't be fetal anymore… That only leaves the question,' Kaneki thought anxiously to himself, as he slowly zipped his backpack back up, before putting his arms through its straps. '… What exactly are the 'non-lethal' side effects that she didn't mention?'

For the majority of the journey through the flickering lights of the rusty vault corridors, Kaneki did his best to ignore the barely audible whispers in his head, and tried his best to distract himself with the green waypoint leading him to his marked destination. Passing by an oddly unrusted supply closet, Kaneki swallowed back a lump in his throat as he heard something rattling inside of it, and attempting to use his kakuja proved fruitless.

Unable to even unravel his kagune, Kaneki immediately got the feeling that something wasn't right. Feeling himself growing cold, and seeing a thick blanket of fog forming beneath his knees, Kaneki got a sickening hunch that something was in behind him, so reluctantly he turned around to look and… There wasn't anything. In fact, there wasn't anything remotely resembling the rusted vault corridors behind him, or even in front of him when he spun back forward to look back at the supply door, which now had become a facility sliding door with the words 'Fatherless' written on it in smeared blood.

"… Begotten child… Do you not yearn for your absent father, whose sins you and your unholy kin carry on?" An eerily calming and disembodied voice of a woman called out to him from everywhere and nowhere, all at once.

Shaken up, Kaneki reached down for the handle of his quinque, but found there to be nothing tied to his belt. "… Who are you?" Kaneki asked in an uneasy voice, as he looked around him and past the fog to take notice of the silhouettes of evergreen trees surrounding him— all of which were masked by an overlay of misty grey fog.

"I have earned many a name from the hubris of men who've believed I existed to serve them, and them alone," the voice explained while trying to sound welcoming and friendly, but came off as sinister and malicious. "The Rabbit Goddess, The Ten-Tailed Fox… The Moon… Mother of Chakra… Kaguya Ōtsutsuki… God Almighty."

Furrowing his brows while finally connecting the dots as to why he had seen so many images of the Moon etched into the surfaces of the Vault, along with the helmets of the feral ghouls who were once The Blades, Kaneki thought back again to the reports made by the vault's old scientist. "… For argument's sake, let's say that you're real… What's the point of all of… This?" Kaneki asked aloud, as he uneasily gestures toward the cryptic door in the middle of a surreal foggy forest.

Although Kaneki wasn't sure what was going on, or why he felt compelled to speak to the voice infiltrating his head, one thing was for certain: he was expecting an answer of some kind. Waiting for a verbal answer, with nothing but silence filling the void, Kaneki grew frustrated and unnerved with himself that he had actually tried communicating with a hallucination. "… This is ridiculous…" He muttered to himself, as he reached up to try and awake himself by rubbing his face.

With his eyelids closed while pinching the bridge of his nose, Kaneki was suddenly caught off guard when he all of sudden felt lightheaded, and his vision became disoriented from the way the panoramic monitor inside his false eyepatch suddenly started to become interfered. Seeing static in one-eye Kaneki began trying to adjust his eyepatch to see if that would fix it somehow, thinking that a wire got loose inside the leather band around his head, but that's when he suddenly caught the sight of a tall, and slender figure standing in the distance— its silhouette presented itself as a bald white figure with no facial features or hair, and dressed in what appeared to be in black formal attire.

"… What?" Kaneki spoke aloud to himself, and tried closing his eye that was covered by his eyepatch to see if he was just seeing something that really wasn't there— an oxymoron, considering that he was already hallucinating the rest of the forest, along with the cryptic door standing a few meters away from him. Upon keeping his focus on the slender man, Kaneki felt uneasy and anxious the longer he looked upon it, especially when he realized that it had long and thin black tendrils protruding from its back, and that it was slowly making its way toward him.

Without any conceivable way of defending himself in this otherworld, and not wanting to take the chance of getting near the slender man, Kaneki decided to take his chances with the sliding door. Without a door knob or a way to pry it open, Kaneki was forced to use his finger to try and opened the door— his heart pounding and his breathing becoming shallow the more his eyepatch glitched out, as he soon made the connection that it was warning him of the approaching danger.

Just when Kaneki was beginning to make progress, his heart nearly skipped a beat the moment he felt a thin tendril wrapping around his ankle. Getting flashbacks to the night Rize had used his kagune to pull him back to her after he had tried running away from her, Kaneki tried stomping down on the black appendage to free himself, but to no avail. Letting out a quick scream, Kaneki gritted his teeth as he felt the cryptoid trying to pull him away from the sliding door, and despite trying to hang on to the door that mocked him with its word painted on it in blood, the one-eyed ghoul quickly lost his grip and felt the air escaping from his lungs as his body was slammed down against the ground.

Using his elbow to flip himself around so that he was being dragged back toward the slender man on his back rather than being completely helpless on his stomach, Kaneki used his free leg to repeatedly use his heel to slam down on the tendril pulling him deeper into the thick blanket of fog. The static in his eyepatch was becoming intense, and his lightheaded feeling grew to become painful like a dagger being slowly twisted and pushed into his head, the closer he got to the creature that was trying to pull him towards it.

Just as Kaneki could feel his ankle being pulled up off of the ground, he quickly lurched over and used his hands to grab a hold of the damaged part of the slender man's tendril, and snapped it in half-like a vine. Ignoring the head-splitting migraine and static-filled vision he was suffering, Kaneki rolled over just in time to avoid being trapped by even more black tendrils, before immediately getting up to his feet and sprinting through the fog and toward the slightly-pried open metal door.

Breathing fast and feeling his heart racing in his chest, Kaneki prepared himself as he got closer to the door— the static practically blinding him even in his other eye, indicating to him that his pursuer was hot on his tail. With no time to spare, Kaneki used his shoulder to bash through the metal sliding door as hard as he could, and let out a wail of panic as he found himself falling several stories down a gaping and rusty hole in the middle of the storage closet's decayed floor.

Back in the real world, Kaneki's headache had disappeared almost instantly, and his eyepatch's camera had switched back to night-vision mode without having any technical issues about it. Landing on a bed of vines that softened the impact of his fall, Kaneki had the air knocked out of him and felt sore the moment he fell onto his back. Groaning in pain, Kaneki stared up at the long hole through the many floors he had fallen through, and couldn't help but to let out a sigh of relief.

'… If breathing in less than an hour's worth of expired spores made me freak out like that, God only knows how potent they must have been back in the…?' Trailing his thoughts, Kaneki became interrupted by the sound of deep-heavy breathing, and the feeling of something wet and warm dripping down on his forehead. Taking a look around at the large cargo-equse corridor that he had fallen into, Kaneki rolled back onto his stomach and managed to get on knee, before finally realizing that he wasn't alone in the dark.

Turned around with his Pipboy light illuminating the thirty-meter long monstrosity behind him, Kaneki gazed up at the terrifying six-legged creature that was entirely composed of mummified and rotting bodies— all of which were amalgamated and held together by the shiny vines of several hundred black hibiscus flower growing on its form.

Its skin, decayed and pale with traces of splatter dried blood all over its ungodly shape, the 'Tormentor' had a slender body with highly elongated limbs which still had various decayed limbs and faces etched on its boney-white skin. At the end of its flexible neck, that stretched down toward Kaneki to where its insect-like head glared down at him with giant mandibles protruding from each side of its misfigured face, its glowing three eyes sitting on top of a row of jagged blades glared down at him.

Without a jaw, it drooled profusely on the spot where Kaneki's head had been laying, and after recognizing that its prey was still alive, the Tormentor sought to correct that. Stretching out its mandibles, the dragon let out a piercing shriek at Kaneki while spitting profusely on him. Immediately attempting to bite Kaneki's head clean off, the Tormentor extended its neck out to try and close its beetle-like mandibles around the one-eyed ghoul's throat.

Swearing under his breath, Kaneki felt in control of his body once more, and quickly duct to the side before unraveling his black-centipede kakuja. Using his robust and armored chitin-covered tendrils, Kaneki slammed his kakuja across the head of the dragon, hoping that it would be enough to behead the unholy beast. Due to the hardened bone-like exoskeleton of the dragon, all Kaneki managed to do was momentarily stun the armored beast— buying him enough time to turn around to start running the other way from the enraged dragon.

Hearing the monster's thunderous footsteps and the sound of metal tearing apart and overhead pipes bending and snapping, Kaneki felt his heart drop the moment he realized the Tormentor was faster than him— a realization that was made worse the moment he felt one of its claws from its elongated limbs reach out and grab a hold of his ankle. Watching a large pipe from the ceiling fell down and began flooding the cargo corridor with murky water filled with black hibiscus pedals, Kaneki was lifted up from the ground and raised up, as the trapped creature snapped its mandibles furiously while trying to get its deformed head closer to Kaneki's body.

Using his centipede kakuja, Kaneki extended his power black tendrils toward the snapping mandibles of the Tormentor's face, and kept them held open to create an opening. Whipping out Yukimura , Kaneki rammed his blade straight through the jawless dragon's mouth, and straight up through its skull. Although it didn't kill the dragon, it caused enough pain to let out an ear-bleeding screech before it threw Kaneki away from its body.

Being flung forward like a rag-doll, Kaneki's body skidded violently against the rusty floor while his black centipede kakuja latched onto the ceiling to hoist himself up. Taking only one look over his shoulder to watch as the Tormentor pulled the quinque out of its skull, Kaneki immediately whipped his head back forward and began sprinting once more, as the sounds of pipes snapped and metal breaking could be heard beneath the unnerving cries of the bloodthirsty monster behind him.

Knowing that time was of the essence, Kaneki continued to run down the seemingly endless bleak corridor, he immediately raised his Pipboy up to activate his V.A.T.S., but that's when he saw a remote notification being broadcasted to his device, asking him if he wanted to start the trash compactor. Confused while still terrified of the monstrous footsteps and screeching echoing from behind him, Kaneki took a few glances at his surroundings, and that was all that it took for the one-eyed ghoul to piece together that he wasn't in a cargo bay, but rather a waste disposal area— a discovery that was made not only by the hydraulic presses along the walls of the corridor, but by the rows of incinerator nozzles pointing down from the ceiling.

Not knowing how much time he had to escape being crushed and burned to death, Kaneki immediately used his kakuja to pierce through the ceiling and begin tearing a new hole through the decayed floors above. Pulling himself up by his long and armored tendrils, Kaneki managed to crawl through the gaping opening he had made through meters of steel and concrete, and not a few seconds went by until he was suddenly jerked backwards.

Falling back into the middle of hole he had created, Kaneki used his ghoul-strength to keep himself from being pulled back into the depths below. With the monster's six limbs wrapped around his two centipede tendrils, Kaneki grunted out in pain as he felt his kakuhou sacs being pulled out of his lower back. Feeling himself beginning to slip back into the abyss below, sweat began to pour down Kaneki's fire head as he used his legs to keep his back propped up against the walls of the hole he was slowly being dragged down.

With the Tormentor's mandibles snapping down at his thighs, a mere few centimeters from actually tearing through his flesh, Kaneki finally managed to remotely activate the vault's trash compactor, and heard the sounds of pistols and pumps working below. In almost an instant, the hydraulic walls smashed together with enough force to instantly crush the Tormentor's body into a splattered mess of black viscous and shattered exoskeleton.

Just before he could get pulled down into the trash compactor after feeling the upper halves of his kakuja getting crushed along with the Tormentor, Kaneki's black tendrils became liquified and detached from the kakuhou sacs that were jutting out of his lower back. Hearing the Tormentor screeching beneath him as the powerful walls repeatedly smashed it, the last thing Kaneki heard of the wretched beast as he crawled out of the hole was the sound of it crying out in agony, as it along with everything else below was scorched in a molten fire.

Feeling the heat and smoke burning him as he grabbed onto the edge of the hole, Kaneki stumbled out of the strange room he found himself in, and quickly found the exit. Before he could succumb to the building amounts of smoke flooding the small room he was in, Kaneki was able to locate an eye-catching piece of technology sitting out on a rusted workbench, that was sitting beside an aged notepad. Grabbing a hold of the large weapon with both of his hands, Kaneki's mask was able to protect his lungs as the smoke started to sting his exposed eye.

Once he had made it outside of the smoke-filled room, Kaneki immediately used the old control panel built into the wall to close the sliding door shut behind him— preventing the smoke from escaping, and allowing him a moment to breathe, but only for a short while. Jolting him out of his moment of peace was the screeching sound of the vault's fire alarm system, Kaneki was momentarily blinded by the red spinning lights on the tall ceiling above.

Looking down at his Pipboy, Kaneki was notified by the vault's security system that a fire had broken out from the multiple floors that the hole he had originally fallen through led into. Assuming that all the old vines of the black hibiscus were the reason why the fire was spreading so rapidly, Kaneki was once again forced to act fast. Needing to take a few moments to go over the notes he retrieved along with his newly obtained weapon, Kaneki made sure to give the instructions written on the yellow pages of the aged notepad, before testing out the 'plasma-thrower' he had taken from the workbench.

It was a jury rigged weapon that took the frame of a flamethrower meant for clearing out debris and weeds, and was fitted with a large heavy-duty fusion-cell battery on the bottom that had a black and thick hose connected to the modified nozzle. From what Kaneki gathered from the hastily written notes of the plasma-thrower, it had been constructed by one of the vault scientists who had built it during the height of the black hibiscus outbreak, as a way to clear out the floral and defend himself from the rioters that broke out in the wake of the anarchy that followed suit.

Due to it being almost two meters long, Kaneki needed to hold it with both hands, one in the gas-pump-like handle, and one wrapped around a grip handle near the fusion cell. Following his waypoint that was being feed into his retina by the Pipboy's AI manipulating his cerebrum through the nerves in his forearm, Kaneki continued through the red-illuminated corridors of the burning vault— using his eyepatch's light auto-adjusting feature to see easier through the smoke and heat.

Armed with an experimental space-age weapon, Kaneki was able to literally melt any of the feral Blades who had tried rushing toward him— all of which had everything, even their helmets and skeletons, melted into a pool of green-glowing goop on the ground, after being scorched in nuclear fire. With almost all of the Blades having been laid to waste by his tenacity and firepower, Kaneki eventually had to abandon the plasma-thrower, after the fusion cell had run out.

Even though he wanted to keep it due to how useful it was, Kaneki understood that because of its bulky size, it would only slow him down, especially since he had planned on taking everything he could from the laboratory, which was just one door away from him. Busting through the rusted door using the emptied plasma-thrower as a battering ram, Kaneki immediately made his way to the terminal to quickly download all research files onto his Pipboy.

Only needing a few seconds to gather everything he needed from the terminal, Kaneki quickly dumped the contents of his bag on the ground. Needing to free up space, Kaneki downed a bottle of water to quench his thirst and clear his throat, before using another one to dose his forehead clean of soot from the smoke, and drool from the Tormentor. The laboratory was large, and divided into several sectors that Kaneki wasted no time while exploring them.

In the quarantined room where the black hibiscus flower had originally been grown, Kaneki remembered from the notes earlier that he only needed the Red Maui flower and Bleeding Tarot root to create the standard stimpak substance. Making sure to leave the door to the plant area open for the flames to travel into eventually, Kaneki took several fortified capsules filled with the seeds he would need to grow the flowers and roots to create his own stimpaks.

Not too far from the exposed greenhouse room, was the walk-in refrigerator room that housed a whole warehouse of super stimpaks and regular stimpaks, which never got to be fully shipped back overseas. Stuffing his backpack full of the packaged Super stimpaks first, Kaneki fit whatever he couldn't in his bag into the ammo pouches around his belt, before using one hand to grab onto a super stimpak that he was planning to use on Yūgao.

Having looted everything he could take with him, and needed, Kaneki carefully used the hand he was using to hold onto the super stimpak to activate the pathfinder on his Pipboy. Marking the entrance of the vault on his map, Kaneki made his way toward the emergency staircase near the laboratory, and started to ascend back up toward the surface level. While making his way up the spiral stairs and through the smoke that was stinging his eye, Kaneki could hear the vault's announcement speakers coming alive over the blaring of passing sirens.

"… You, boy… You're the Black Reaper I've heard so much about, aren't you?" A somewhat deep and rather serious woman's voice sounded off through each speaker Kaneki passed by. "I'm in the security office, where you closed the vault door— I can see you through the cameras…"

"… My name is Miza Kusakari, I am— rather, I was— the leader of The Blades… You perhaps know me better by my alias: Three Blades," Miza spoke in a raspy voice, before suddenly coughing violently into the microphone she was using to communicate to Kaneki.

"… The air filter within my mask was damaged in an altercation with one of my men… No… Not one of my men— with one of those monsters," Miza clarified herself, before beginning to wheeze as smoke filled her lungs. "I… I managed to break through the locked door leading from the stairwell… I-Into the lobby, b-but… I-I can't move the vault door— it won't budge or brea-?!"

Unable to finish her sentence, Miza began violently coughing and choking, as Kaneki finally got to the room that held the entrance to the long aforementioned stairwell up to the lobby where the ghoul was suffocating on all the smoke that was rising up to that room.

"I… I-I'm going… T-To d-die…" Miza whispered in a scratchy voice that sounded distant from the microphone, as if she was laying on the floor of the security room. "You… You heard the voice too… D-Didn't you…? T-The one… The one… The one who c-called herself… G-God…"

"… S-She's singing a… A lullaby to me… I-I hear… I-I her voice…"

"I… I see a light…"

"… It's… It's her…"

"… I see the Moon."

And there we have it, a chapter heavily inspired by Dead Space and Silent Hill, showing an inside look into the Otherworld, as well as how some dragons could look grotesque.

Vault 937 went into flames, and it wasn't even intentional on Kaneki's behalf. And yeah, zombies would just be another headache, Ellie would be a fun character to add, and so would Zoey. Honestly might add Valve characters, because why the fuck not lol.

Will Haise end up getting Lucky at the office party? Perhaps, but who is the real question? Honestly, if Akira ever admired to Takizawa that she slept with Arima, he would either be jealous of Akira for being close to Arima, or feel proud of the fact that he and Arima slept with the same woman— making him feel like he has a connection to Arima through Akira, like that old saying, 'Eskimo Brothers'.

When is Haise gonna take Touka to Yoriko's place? Probably the next chapter or so. And yeah, Haise does have a sweet tooth, which I wrote him like that due to being influenced by Juuzou, who loves sweets. And also that pumpkin was like, the size of a melon— if Haise and Rize had sex ontop of it, it'd get smashed. But yeah, I could totally see those two having a 'country style' session in bed or in someone's barn. Might do a full lemon, or just mention it, trying to hook Haise up with another side girl, or with Mutsuki next.

And thank you, I'll be looking forward to writing about Takizawa's Halloween party, and him getting social advice and advice on how to impress a woman from Haise, who would take note of the fact that he had a crush on Akira. And I definitely will be showing Haise going to Takizawa's house to hang out, and showing Takizawa with his mother and his dog, Rocky.

I'll have to fix Amon's character later, which means no pussying around or 'disappearing'. Might make him become a villain, who would join the Enclave or Akatsuki, because he feels like the TSC isn't doing a good enough job saving the rest of Japan, and he might be compelled to join GOAT, like Takizawa, but that would lead them into getting captured and surgically made to become one-eyed ghouls. Both would have gone through torture and psychological abuse to break them and making them fight against Tokyo, after being brainwashed into thinking they're the enemy.

So for that, Amon and Takizawa will probably both join Akatsuki, and it's only when Takizawa sees Haise does he snap out of it, due to Takizawa genuinely seeing Haise as a friend, especially after Haise tells him that he went looking for him and Amon. Which then, Amon, would see Haise as a deceitful person who corrupted the T-Owl he knows Takizawa as, which would cause the two to fight while Haise is distracted with another powerful foe.

After that, Takizawa has white hair, the deranged look and mannerisms, but would still try to correct himself and try to fit in with society as best as he could, while finally building up the courage to admit his feelings to Akira. While Amon would feel like the world is twisted, and would see Haise, Kaneki and Yusa as the representation of everything he thinks is wrong with Japan, and thus, I could see Amon being a devout servant of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, who wouldn't have an issue using him as her 'champion'. So I guess he would be like a morally grey anti-hero, who would think himself as a crusader who's fighting for 'God Almighty, Herself'.

Which I mean, Kaguya isn't fully evil, she used to be a benevolent being, and I could definitely see Amon agreeing with her that humanity is beyond trusting, and that the world can only strive with order. And yeah, I think Kaneki would be mildly confused by Malenia's poetic way of speaking English, but would mostly understand her, because I've shown him to be able to read English, so I'll probably have him able to speak very little of it, while I want Haise to be more opposite. Because he went to school later than Kaneki, it would be better to assume that Haise learned how to read in English first, due to it being easier than Japanese.

I'll have to show that in a chapter, where Haise is fluent in English and Japanese, but can only read romaji and not katakana or hiragana. Eto would be able to read both English and Japanese just fine, because of Kuzen being fluent in several languages, while her mother would know how to write both English and Japanese, due to wanting to release her articles locally and overseas. Eto would probably just not be able to speak English that great. Kaneki, like mentioned, would be a master of Japanese katakana, hiragana, and writing in kanji, and read English perfectly too, and he understands most of it, and can speak it well enough to have a full conversation with someone like Eren, who doesn't know Japanese at all, just English and German. Naruto only can speak and read in Japanese, and needs help with English, as do most of those who are from Konohagakure.

The only person from Konohagakure who would speak and read English just fine would probably be Jiraiya, who traveled the world. I would say even Kakashi would know how to read and speak English, due to him being exposed to life outside of The Land of Fire, before making his way back to his 'roots'. Kakashi would just not acknowledge it unless directly asked.

But yeah, definitely going to have Malenia be part of Kaguya's Moon Cult, and her mission would be to sacrifice Kaneki, Haise, and Yusa, so that another God Tree could be culminated. To Malenia, she's infected with DM-cells, but due to being 'blessed' by Kaguya and becoming a sentient Zetsu, she's able to utilize it rather than having it take control of her.

And yeah, if Kaneki was there when Haise made that dark joke, he would have shushed him or just explained to everyone that he's drunk, even if he wasn't.

The way I see it, the 'Serpent Slayer Blade' from Elden Ring would be good loot for when they kill the God Devouring Serpent, either by pulling it out of its body, or better yet, making it a weapon from using resources from its corpse. Naruto should probably be the one to wield it, or Kaneki.

Anyways, that about does it for now, I left the ending to be sort of a cliff hanger for now.

Have a damn good day, and see you next time!
