Disclaimer: This happens why before any of the demon children were born so don't expect any crossovers. I'd say only Galand was around the time. I also aged down Gloxinia to be around Drole's age like the others

Enjoy this little bonus story of the start of an life lasting friendship

Little eight year old Gloxinia had once again managed to sneak away from his home to play in the forest. If he was gonna be king, he might as well know the land where he would rule. He absolutely loved flying through the trees like he was in a fierce battle. It's been minutes and already he wanted someone to play with. Everyone he knew was busy doing other things and he's too young to do any of it. He noticed a bush with his favorite berries. This day couldn't get any better!

Little seven year old Drole was in a bad mood. The ugly duckling of the clan and without any parents to understand why, he just wished someone would talk to him without getting the nickname "Alien" or "Cyclops". He was then he realized how far he was walking away the clan's cave. The boy suddenly grew slightly scared but then...No! He'll show them! He's gonna be the most powerful giant ever and then they'll finally give him some respect...the second after the thought brewed, hunger struck. He took a look to the forest near him and ran to find some food. He found a bush of delicious looking berries but then..

A little fairy popped out of the bush on the ground to notice the little giant. They both stared at each other in fear of one of another, each wondering what the other would do. *Grumble*

Drole lit red in embarrassment and was about to leave until..

"Uh...are you hungry?" Gloxinia asked. Drole nodded, waiting for the obligatory name-calling. Gloxinia was choosing his next movements, very carefully. His mother was way too far from her to hear him and he's not that fast! He was just going to give the Giant the berries and was praying he wasn't part of the meal. He gave Drole the berries which he gladly ate, however the giant was confused. This is the longest anyone has ever been in contact with him. It interested him as he liked it but was still slightly unsure if this was a trick to attack him. Gloxinia was relieved he took the berries and not him with it. "Maybe it's a nice monster. I've never seen anyone that big before, this could be fun!" He said to himself as he approached the young giant.

"What's your name?" He asked. "...d..Drole" Drole stuttered. "I'm Gloxinia, D-Drole!" Gloxinia said, actually believing that to be his name. Drole giggled slightly. "No it's Drole." Drole corrected. "Oh...heh, sorry." He said, embarrassed. Gloxinia and Drole liked each other already and it's only been a few minutes.

"Hey, how did you get so big?" Gloxinia asked, having never seen a giant before. "I'm a giant! Some of us are almost as big as that tree over there." Drole said, pointing to the sacred tree. "No way! I live there, I would see you miles away." Gloxinia said, amazed. "You live there? I bet you can see the whole world from up there." Drole said. "Definitely!" Gloxinia, now floating. Drole's mind immediately went to demon, one of his clan's greatest enemies from what he heard from the adults. "How are you doing that?! Are you a demon?" He asked. Gloxinia was confused. What's a demon? Drole looked scared so it might be a monster. "No! I'm a fairy. All of us can fly." He explained, showing off. "Oh ok." Drole accepted. He didn't know what a fairy is but then again, he didn't know what a demon was either. Gloxinia thought for a sec. This was a perfect chance to have a friend to play with. "Hey, do you want to play hide and seek?"

"What's that?" Drole asked, in genuine curiosity. Gloxinia was dumbfounded. What kid didn't know what hide and seek is? Are all giants like this? "Well we take turn hiding and seeking. The seeker has to count and the hider, well, hides." He explained. "Can I be the hider?" Drole asked. "Sure! I'll count to twenty and just letting you know, I never lose!" The two played for hours until it was growing dark.

"Hey I had a lot of fun today. Meet back here tomorrow?!" "Sure!"

So what did you think? Should I give these two more chapters as this goes on?
