Here we go, another micro arc that takes place in Tokyo this time, not out in the wasteland. The traffic stats are back up, so I can kinda see the backlogged data of who's reading what, but it's not fully all there yet and some stuff is still missing, but that's okay— like I said before, that's never been an issue before.

Okay, author's notes at the bottom, and please enjoy this three-part arc.

The light pollution from the neon signs and heavily populated buildings spread across the the world's largest city made the stars above practically non-existent for the two mysterious men walking through the crowds of pediatricians— all of which were minding their own business, and had no idea that the two men dressed in large black robes were extremely dangerous.

Slicking back his grey hair and sighing as he looked up at one of the many televised screens mounted up on the side of a well-lit skyscraper, the man with fair skin scowled with a judgemental glare from his distinctive purple eyes. Unlike his partner, he had his black robe opened up to reveal his pectoral muscles, along with his religious necklace that he gently grabbed to bring it up to his lips, so that he could whisper a silent prayer into it.

Letting it drop back down past the black shinobi-headband that he wore around his neck like a necklace, the Akatsuki member scoffed as he glanced over to his partner, who had his glowing green eyes locked forward and hadn't been paying any mind to the extravagant scenery around them.

"Sheeeesh… These spoiled motherfuckers are sucking on the tits of luxury here… Getting pampered and feed, not having to worry about any of the shit outside their big-ass fuckin' walls… Must be real fuckin' nice, huh Kakuzu?" Hidan mused with a judgmental look on his face, and despite being a self-proclaimed religious man. "Piece of shits… All this soft living has made them weak. Shiiiiit, I'd hate to live in a place like this…"

"… Speak for yourself, Hidan— I fully intend on retiring here one day," his partner, Kakuzu, spat back with an annoyed voice, as he did his best to keep his focus on the mission at hand. "Tokyo, from what I've heard, has always been wealthy… And seeing it in person, even after the world fell… I see now that nothing's changed within its walls. All of it, its riches, power, and land… All of it is ripe for the taking," the very tall and tan man said with a greedy look hidden behind the black half-mask he wore beneath his grey hood that covered his long-black hair.

Disgusted by his partner's greed, but not surprised at all that Kakuzu was memorized by the potential wealth he could accumulate from the first-world city, Hidan scoffed at the green-eyed man. "Fuckin' materialistic degenerate! There's more to this life than stuffin' your wallet, ya know!"

"Oh? And like what? Praying to a false god that you made up?" Kakuzu shot back with an impatient tone to his voice, which struck a nerve with Hidan. "Money has been the only reliable and consistent factor that's survived the apocalypse— religions come and go."

"Y-You sacrilegious piece of shit! I'll rip your fuckin' head off for talking shit about my god!" Hidan spat hatefully at his partner, and although Kakuzu wanted to engage in a violent brawl with the man who was testing his patience, the aspect of his grand reward was far more tempting than risking his mission for the sake of pettiness.

Raising and hand up to signal for Hidan to stand down, Kakuzu turned his head over his shoulder before ushering the hot-headed shinobi to follow him down an alleyway, so that they could get a moment of privacy. Beneath the shadows while making their way down the maze-like streets hidden behind the backside of several brick-and-mortar shops, once the two shinobis had gotten into a secluded area, Kakuzu reached into his robe's inner pocket to pull out a cell phone.

"There's pictures in this device that'll have everything you need to know about Yusa Arima… He'll be your target, try to bring him in alive if you can— he's not worth anything if he's dead," Kakuzu instructed, before handing the younger man the cell phone. "We're going to split up, because one: you're pissing me the hell off, and two: we'll cover more ground that way."

Extremely irritated that he had been assigned the boy who wasn't worth anything without a pulse, Hidan was already making his mind up about 'accidentally' slaughtering Yusa and apologizing to the Underground King. "Tsk…! Fuck you too… So, what about your greedy ass? I take it you're going after Sasaki and Kaneki?"

"Heh… Don't be stupid, I'll only be going after Kaneki by myself— you're going to help me fight Sasaki after we've completed our tasks," Kakuzu said with a deep and ridiculing voice, as the mere thought of him trying to fight Haise alone made him laugh. "I've read enough on Sasaki to know that he's the most dangerous one out of the three… I have half a mind of demanding that his bounty be worth sevenfold, for all the trouble he'll be worth."

"Yeah, good fuckin' luck with that, buddy," Hidan chuckled with a sneering grin on his face, before unlocking the phone to begin looking at all the collected data the Ataksuki had acquired from their inside informant— including where Yasu was last scene, at an Italian restaurant called 'Trattoria Trussaradi'. "Alright… I'll go pay this little shit a visit, and I'll be sure to greet him REAL nice~!" Hidan said with a sadistic grin across his thin lips, as he reached into his black robe to pull out a paper tag that had his weapon of choice sealed inside of it.

Already suspecting that Hidan was going to sabotage their reward by killing Yasu, Kakuzu scowled at the cocky man as he watched him begin following the directions on his phone's GPS. "Don't ruin this, Hidan. If you kill that boy, it'll be on you— don't expect me to share my reward or speak on your behalf when this is all over," Kakuzu warned, while making it perfectly clear that he in no way was going to help Hidan get out of whatever hole he was planning on digging for himself.

Flipping Kakuzu off while still walking ahead with his back turned to the greedy shinobi, Hidan called out in a smug voice, "Wouldn't dream of it, ya fuckin' prick!"

Their dinner date at Ramen Ichikura was mostly pleasant, save for the fact that Naruto had gone out of his way to interrupt Kaneki and Eto, just so he could ask if Haise was around— the young shinobi still determined to get his payment in the form of information from the half-ghoul. After being told that Haise was out in the wasteland doing his own thing, Naruto seemed both awed and disappointed at the same time, but that was when the blond shinobi had the brilliant idea of going behind his team leader's back once again.

Being asked if he could join GOAT, Kaneki seemed reluctant at first to accept Naruto into his ranks, especially since he got the feeling that the younger man was trying to do it discreetly. However, seeing Naruto eager for adventure and to explore the world reminded Eto of her past self. So, knowing that Kaneki had a soft spot for her, Eto was able to quietly talk Kaneki into giving Naruto and his team a chance— convincing him to allow them to only take on small tasks, just so he could get a feel on what they were capable of.

Reluctantly, Kaneki reached into his trench coat to pull out a recommendation card for each shinobi and kunoichi within Naruto's group, and instructed the excited blond man to reach Hideyoshi if he really was interested in getting processed into the ranks of GOAT. Once Naruto got more than what he originally bargained for, the obnoxious shinobi backed off from Kaneki and Eto's table, and did his best to wish for them to have a good rest of their night, before he stumbled back to his team to show them what he managed to snag from the 'One-Eyed King'.

Once they were alone, Kaneki and Eto went back to their casually romantic date. Having already discussed each others' past enough to recite one anothers' memories, the conversation between Kaneki and Eto were more so about books that they've read, and their own critiques about the movies that were made from the source material. Talking about nothing, and about everything, all at the same time, the two enjoyed listening to one another speak while they finished the rest of their ramen bowls.

Paying for both of their meals, Kaneki escorted Eto back into his car, but before he could get into the driver's seat to take off, the half-ghoul signaled for him to stop. Looking over to where Eto had been pointing, Kaneki was surprised to see Naruto standing in front of his car with his arms waving frantically over his head and a familiar looking wallet in hand. Having never left his wallet behind before, Kaneki felt a moment of panic come and go, and made sure to thank Naruto for returning his property to him.

Once Naruto handed Kaneki back his wallet, the young shinobi flashed the Black Reaper a cheesy and embarrassed smile, before suddenly and nervously asking his future boss if he could help him deliver groceries to his mom. Insisting that his mother was struggling with managing her time, due to her essentially having adopted all of Konohagakure's orphaned minors under her household, Naruto asked Kaneki if he could drive him to a supermarket before it closed down for the night.

Given that Kaneki wasn't a selfish person, and the fact that he was trying his hardest to show Eto, who had been listening to Naruto's pleas, that he was the one who she should be with, the Black Reaper decided to not only agree to help the shinobi by driving him to the nearest market, but he also offered to pay for the groceries— something that impressed Eto, and completely shocked Naruto.

Needing to look away while cursing under his breath, Naruto muttered an excuse about getting dust in his blue eyes, as he quietly accepted Kaneki's generous offer before hopping in the backseat of the one-eyed ghoul's family-sized SUV. Although Kaneki was hoping for some more private time with Eto, Naruto at least was respectful enough to keep quiet and allow for the two to continue chatting to one another about future plans of going on more outings, or helping to write her novel series.

Parking on along the sidewalk, Kaneki got out of the vehicle and made his way around the hood of his SUB to open the door for Eto. Helping her out by holding her hand in his red-gloved hand, Kaneki made sure that Eto's feet were firmly planted on the concrete sidewalk before closing the passenger door behind her. Walking side-by-side, Kaneki and Eto made their way to Anteiku's entrance, and locked eyes with one another while standing before one another.

Looking up into the red and grey eyes of her 'little brother', Eto couldn't help but develop a goofy smile across her soft-pink lips. Feeling her cheeks beginning to warm up the longer she found herself getting lost in Kaneki's gaze, Eto cleared her throat before beginning to speak. "Tonight, was… Was really good. I… I haven't been out like that since… You know," Eto said with a momentary solemn look passing over her face, as she thought of all the times she and her mother would go out. "… Thank you, Ken. I can call you that now, right? No need for the 'honorifics' and all that?"

Chuckling softly at how adorable he found Eto's nervous way of speaking to be, Kaneki's smile grew as he nodded his head. "Of course, so long as I can start referring to you by your first name as well, Eto," Kaneki replied.

Nodding her head softly, Eto gently squeezed her hands around Kaneki's warm hands, and raised her eyebrows and narrowed her eyelids as she smiled even harder at the charming young man. "Fair's fair, isn't it?" Eto mused half-jokingly with a pleased look in her emerald green eyes, before glancing past Kaneki's shoulder to stare back at his SUV. "… You're a good man, Ken. What you did back there for that boy… He's going to remember that, and pass that kindness on. This world needs more acts of compassion in it… So thank you again, for being the change that we all want to see."

Although Kaneki was a modest person by heart, he wasn't going to downplay what he did— doing so would have invalidated the praises he was receiving from the heavily woman standing before him. "You're welcome, and… I… I understand that my circumstances with… With me wanting to love you with the consent of my fiancés is… Strange, to say the least," Kaneki said with a waved smile that turned almost into a frown, as he finally began to address the elephant in the room that both he and she had been ignoring for the majority of their date.

Chortling softly from how absurd it was that not only did the thought of potentially partnering up with someone who already had romantic partners was something that was being offered to her, but that it was an offer that tempted someone who was bisexual such as herself, Eto averted her gaze from his and stared down at their feet while thinking of how to put what she was thinking into proper words. "… What you're asking me to do is join a harem, Ken; it's not as strange as you might think it is— such practices were common in older times, when it was common for kings to have multiple wives…"

"… And you are the 'One-Eyed King', are you not? A tragic hero whose past remains a mystery to even himself, and who rose up to answer the call of duty— you serve others before yourself, and your mission is to save Japan, and quite possibly the world in due time," Eto explained in a fond voice, as she narrated her inner thoughts of just how much she thought of Kaneki as a person. "From what I understand, you were born to be something far more destructive than what you turned out to be. You're capable of so much, and despite having so much potential and drive, you… You're the kindest person I've ever met…"

"… I say this in the best way possible: You remind me of my mother, Ken— you have all of her best traits, and that alone makes you worthy of that title as 'King'," Eto said with praise in her voice, as she slowly looked up from the sidewalk to stare back into the welcoming gaze of Kaneki, who felt amorous from the genuine words coming from the half-ghoul. "It would be selfish for any woman to keep you to herself… With that being said, I… I am grateful that you've chosen me to be the apple of your eye…"

"… So please, forgive me for wanting to keep our relationship as nothing more than what it is. I'm afraid for my heart… It's not ready to open up yet— I cannot endure more heartache, I haven't even gotten over my mother's death yet," Eto said with a painful look on her eyes, as she saw Kaneki flinch slightly from the answer she had given him. "I love you… Don't misinterpret my words. I love you, but… I cannot be with you— not now, at least…"

"… Maybe one day, when the nightmare that's waiting just outside these protective walls ends… When things become simple again, maybe then you can call me your wife," Eto said with her voice beginning to crack, as tears began welling up in her eyes. "God damnit… I-I hate sappy emotions— I hate feeling so vulnerable…!" Eto chuckled sorrowfully with a weak smile, as she raised a hand up to wipe her thumb across her teary eyes. "And yet… And yet I can't help but to open up when I'm with you… Which is why I can't be with you as much as you'd like me to…"

"… Is it selfish of me? Perhaps… But it's the way I feel, and I know that you're going to respect that," Eto said with a heartfelt sigh, as she and Kaneki exchanged a reluctant moment to silently convey their sorrow to one another, before the half-ghoul decided to move on. "You and I can still see one another, go on little adventures here and there, and enjoy one another's company…"

"… As a matter of fact, if circumstances were different and you didn't have that boy waiting in your car, I'd invite you upstairs to share a bed with me…! M-Maybe we can practice and fool around with that 'big sister, little brother' kink that I, uhh… T-That I didn't know I had this entire time, haha…!" Eto chuckled with an embarrassed look on her face, and laughed quietly and felt the tension between her and Kaneki lessen the moment she saw him crack a smile at her. "Might not be able to make love, but… 'I'm down to fuck', as the kids say nowadays, hehe…"

"… Uh… Okay, I'm uh… I'm done doing all the talking now— feel free to say something, otherwise this conversation's about to get awkward, haha…" Eto chuckled anxiously, while staring up into Kaneki's eyes for some sort of validation and comfort, after she finally ran out of things to say.

Having been quiet the entire time to allow Eto to say what was on his mind, Kaneki took a few more moments to process everything that had just been word-vomited onto him. "I mean… Yeah. Y-Yeah, I'm fine with going as slow as you'd like to— I can fully respect that, Eto," Kaneki finally piped up, while still feeling a lightheaded surrealness clouding his thoughts, as he came to terms with the fact that the half ghoul had softly rejected him for the sake of having a 'friends with benefits' relationship.

"Oh, good! I was, uhh… I was sort of nervous that what it said would have ended our amazing night on a sour note," Eto admitted with a relieved look on her face, before standing up on her tippy toes to softly press her lips against Kaneki's cheek— a first kiss that would have been heavenly, had it not been for the conflicted feelings of sorrow and self-pity that Kaneki was keeping hidden from the happy green-haired woman. "Well, I won't keep you waiting any longer… Text me when you get home, so I know you're safe, mmkay? I won't be able to sleep until I know you're okay…"

".. O-Of course, I'll keep you updated, Eto," Kaneki said with a friendly and positive expression on his face, before receiving a warm hug from the half ghoul. Saying goodnight to one another, Eto stood by the opened door of Anteiku and waved cheerfully at Kaneki. Once he was inside his car, and Naruto had gotten out to make his way to the front passenger seat, Eto stepped inside the coffee shop and locked the front door.

Once she was alone, Eto immediately made her way to the nearest booth and took a seat in it. Crossing her arms on top of the table, Eto buried her face into her forearms and let out an elongated sigh. Processing everything she had said to Kaneki herself, Eto remained in a meditative state within the dimly lit dining area, alone and secluded— just the way that she learned to cope with her stress, since the day her mother was taken from her.

And there we have it, Eto is still cautious of being in a relationship, but is willing to have sex with Kaneki, so long as there's no romance involved. Which, of course, there secretly will be, but it's just Eto's defense mechanism that's preventing her from opening her heart up once again.

Tamamo's Haise's issue, and his alone lol. Haise rarely asks others for help, because he was taught that doing so was a sign of weakness, so he probably wouldn't ask Kaneki to speak to her on behalf of him. At least not directly, he'd probably just offer to take Kaneki up there to have a look around, before mentioning that he's cursed and is still working on trying to free himself from Tamamo— which would lead into him hoping that Kaneki would offer and insist on aiding him.

Probably not gonna overdue it with the 'watersports' too much lol. Maybe I might do it once or twice again, but it won't be a recurring thing. And lol, it would be fun to see Rize and Mutsuki trying to fight one another, or at least showing Rize calling Mutsuki to harass him over the phone.

And yeah, I can see Marceline making sure Yusa is comfortable when she needs to feed on him, and that's a good idea to have PB sucking him off while he gets fed on, or having Marceline jerk him off on her lap. Yasu will definitely be a switch, and after Yasu fights Hidan, he's going to go celebrate his victory against an immortal shinobi by fucking Haru. My idea for Yasu is to have him have the calmness, patience, temperament and empathy as Kaneki when he's not fighting, but then become fierce and extremely aggressive like Haise when he's needing to fight someone.

Next lemon might show Hikari and Eto getting kinky, and after this mini arc, I'll introduce Kaneki to Hikari, who is slightly becoming more into her due to needing a 'rebound', but ends up getting pulled into her fantasy and accepts her as his 'Dommy Mommy'.

And great idea for there to be a 'Kirishima' trait, where Hikari scouts Kaneki and sort of forces herself into his life, similar to how Touka can scout for Haise and force herself into his life too. Hikari will definitely be the alpha of the harem, and invite other women to join them like Hinami. So many taboo lemons to write, so little time.

Okay, that about does it. Peace and chicken grease, have a damn good day!
