The ride to Tython remained a quiet one. Osa plugged in the coordinates as the Crest tried to deny the location, declaring an error and attempted many times to re-route, but Din over rode the Crest as they finally saw the long awaited planet come into view. Before entering the hemisphere, Din hovered awaiting instructions from either of his children.

"Does anyone have an inkling on where exactly the temple would be located?" Din questioned because he wasn't about to fly from one corner of the planet to the other.

"The Northern hemisphere," Osa said without thinking when Din began his descent, "Further North, almost at the zenith of the planet," Osa directed, "Go left a little and there," she pointed towards a rock formation built on top of one of the many rolling hills that made up the planet.

"Doesn't look like we can land on top," Din stated," Looks like we are going to have to travel by foot."

Din settled the Crest down at the base of the Temple, he collected Yazel within his embrace while Osa lead the way. For some unthinkable reason Osa had to reach the summit of the temple, it was as if some invisible force was summoning her.

"Osa, wait," Din tried to get situated before their journey, but Osa bee-lined towards the top. So much was happening so fast; the anticipation, the pull, the unknown, and yet everything at once.

Osa reached the top before her father as she glared around the temple that consisted of six large protruding slabs of rocks, which were pointed towards the sky, a circular divot occupied the center while a medium sized half dome stone was nuzzled in the ground.

"Does this look Jedi to you?" Din asked his children.

"I guess," Osa skeptically stated with her arms out pondering herself.

"Here, take Yazel, the both of you are suppose to sit on the seeing stone," Din pushed but he could see Osa's hesitation, "A minute ago I couldn't hold you back and now you are wary?"

"I don't know, it's as if I feel everything and yet nothing. It's more like ghostly whispers from the past then what's in the now," Osa tried to explain.

"Hey it's okay," Din put his hands on the side of her helmet, "Take you time," he reassured when Osa inhaled a deep breath as Yazel clasped onto her thumb with his tiny hand and glared up.

With this little boost in confidence Osa climbed on top of the dome stone and placed Yazel in between her legs, as they both sat cross legged. Everyone waited for a while, guessing when something was about to happen or even if something would happen.

"Are you seeing anything?" Din questioned.

"I see you, ugh, I feel so idiotic like this," Osa was about to get down when Din prevented her.

"Just relax," he pressed a button on the side of his helmet simulating a different frequency," Maybe there's some kind of control or something," he walked around the stone searching for a magical control panel, but there was nothing except for some curious butterflies beginning to hover over their heads.

"Maybe try closing your eyes, focus inward," Din suggested.

"Okay, if you say so," Osa did what she was told when the sound of an approaching ship broke through the atmosphere.

Din followed the vessel carefully and watched it land. How could anyone else discover an unknown planet without the coordinates? Din didn't want to find out and told his children their time was up, but the kids were immersed with in a blue haze while lost in meditation.

"Osa we have to get," Din approached the force field, trying to penetrate through but was immediately blasted backwards.

Din stumbled to his feet while yelling at his children to snap out of it while keeping an eye on the intruders. He could see in the distance a hooded figure emerge from the ship, when he drew his blaster protecting his children at all cost.

Cautiously Din ran down the grassy hill when sudden shots were fired, quickly Din took cover behind a boulder and awaited his opportunity when a voice spoke.

"Who knew this planet existed," a hooded figure glared around as Din kept his weapon drawn.

"Are you Jedi, or something else?" Din kept vague realizing a bounty was still active on his children.

"This was easier then I expected. I knew someone so committed to the Creed couldn't pass up returning Mandalorian armor back to where they believed it belonged," Boba smiled wide, "Why do you think I purposely lost that battle to Vanth? I practically handed my armor to him. I knew Katan would be hot on my trail and with her ship destroyed that left her to bring you and my bounties to me. It was obvious the beacon I placed on your ship would be discovered, so the next best option in order to track you was to place one on my armor. How will I explain this to your children that daddy lead their capture right to them?" Boba laughed maliciously.

"What's to stop me from dropping you right where you stand?" Din spat.

"Because I have a sharpshooter up on that ridge with a locked scope that will unload by the time my body hits the ground."

"I'm the one wearing Beskar. As soon as I see that muzzle flash, you're both dead."

"I never said she was going to shoot you. My friend's locked onto your children up on the ridge. Gideon never said he wanted them alive."

"And if you remember Mando, I don't miss," Shand shouted.

"Fennec!" Din yelled surprised by her survival.

"You have a keen ear," she replied while peering through her scope watching the unusual spectacle.

"You have a way in cheating death," Din addressed.

"So how do you want to do this, hand them over, come with, I'm sure there is a price on your head as well," Boba negotiated.

"Over my dead body," Din enforced.

"That can be arranged," when Boba fired trying to aim in between Din's Beskar plates.

Realizing his enemies tactics, Din took cover again and also began firing back. Understanding his exposure without his armor, Boba yelled at Fennec to give him some cover, without thought she changed her position and began blasting at her new target.

Din realized he had to do something quick but he was outnumbered and out gunned, he had to draw Boba and Fennec away so when Osa and Yazel were released they could make a break for the Crest and escape.

Igniting a thermal detonator, Din threw it at the base of the stone structure Fennec was perched on when the device blew causing her to retract and seize fire. Din tried to lead the two away from his children when a few more ships entered the atmosphere.

For an unknown planet there seems to be a lot more visitors then expected, Din thought to himself when he noticed the ships appeared to be Empire.

"Excellent, reinforcements. Give up Mando, your time is up," Boba yelled while watching several Stormtroopers file out from their ships, blasters drawn, and honing in on their targets.

What was he to do? Din couldn't take on the Empire and two other bounty hunters all on his own, but there was no way anyone would be coming to his rescue, he would have to come up with something. Din threw the last of his thermal detonators and deployed a few whistling birds to create a passage so he could get to the Crest; his only option.

Din unlocked the ship and ran just about to deploy his jetpack when Boba slammed his gaffi stick hard on the engines. Having no other choice Din summersaulted attempting to draw his blaster, but Boba obtained the high ground whipping his weapon repeatedly, trying to make contact.

Rolling from side to side, Din was fumbling for his blaster when friendly fire came Boba's way. The Stormtroopers tried to blast Boba's gaffi stick from his hands as he used the weapon to deflect their blasts.

"Delinquents, I am not the target," Boba shouted at the Troopers who began setting up an E-web canon.

"Moff Gideon has terminated your contract and no longer employees your services, you shall also meet your maker," The Captain revealed while signaling for his comrades to deploy fire.

Without thought Din bull rushed Boba out of the line of fire as they both took refuge behind a large rock structure.

"Why did you rob me of a warrior's death," Boba yelled with rage.

"That sure is an odd way of saying thanks," Din blurted out.

"You will regret this day Mando."

"Save your threats for someone else, we need to formulate a plan so I can get to my ship and eradicate these Troopers," Din declared, "And since you are now in the same predicament as I am, we need to help each other to escape."

Unfortunately coming to terms with Din's words, Boba spoke into his comm, "Fennec, you still alive?"

A few seconds passed but then her voice came over, "So comforting that you care."

"Draw the Troopers attention especially that canon," Boba commanded.

"Sure thing," when Fennec ran across the tops of the hills blasting whatever Troopers were in her sights.

This window of opportunity gave Din and Boba a little breathing room to take out a few more Troopers within their path. What they were most worried about was the E-web canon, but Fennec made good on her promise as a massive boulder came rolling down and crushed the destructive weapon.

The Troopers were running out of soldiers while Boba and Din battled their way towards their ships. In the distance Boba could make out a reflective surface shining from the Crest, his father's armor, no his armor, nothing would stand in his way of reclaiming his birth right.

Ever so slowly the Troopers enclosed on Din as Fennec came to back him up.

"Who'd ever thought we would be on the same side?" Fennec stated matter of fact.

"Doesn't seem like you have much of a choice," Din pointed out but actually thankful he had help.

The Troopers were becoming too much to handle when a thermal detonator appeared and blew some of the Troopers away. Wondering where that came from, Boba appeared fully armored and ready for action.

Without mercy he destroyed every Trooper that was in his way, if it was from his blaster, explosives, or his fists, he was going to eradicate them for following Gideon's orders.

The three had over run the Troopers when they fell back and made haste for their ships, believing they had escaped their fate but Boba sent them off with a last minute surprise. The Troopers ships took off as Boba tracked them in his scope, and once he had them in sight he released his rocket hitting one ship as it imploded into the other.

"Nice shot," Fennec complimented Boba when a single blast bee-lined from the sky making instant contact with the Razor Crest, blowing it to smithereens, "Better get to your ship," Fennac said to Boba not wanting to lose their only means of transportation.

Din's heart became extremely heavy. The Crest. That was his home, his and Osa's first home, so many memories wiped from existence.

Everything they held dear, gone. Din felt as if apart of himself had been destroyed, he peered into the atmosphere with his visor set to heat sensor and saw an Imperial Cruiser above. Immediately he snapped out of his trance as his children were in imminent danger, "The kids!" he shouted as he and Fennec ran to the temple.

The blue force field had vanished while Osa and Yazel laid on the stone unconscious. Suddenly four things blasted off from the Cruiser and made haste towards the Temple. Din and Fennec raced to the top and the closer they got they noticed four life sized droids circled around his children.

Without hesitation two droids grabbed each asset and blasted back towards their master who awaited for their return upon the Cruiser. Flying over head in his ship, Boba made a pass and was ready to go to war, but Fennec warned that the droids had the children. Desperately wanting to take away Gideon's prizes, Boba was about to fire when Din came over the comm demanding Boba to abort pursuit and to disengage attack.

Frustrated Boba knew he would be taken out in the matter of seconds and made his way to land his craft. Boba went to collect Shand as she stood next to the smoking crater that use to be the Mandalorian's ship. She watched him blindly pick through the rubble when he found three items; Osa's box of her favorite art supplies, the round silver nob Yazel was fond of, and the Beskar spear Din was going to use on Gideon.

"Come on," Boba tried to get Fennec to leave but she had other plans.

"No, when I was in his custody he made sure I wasn't harmed, we must help him, plus he saved your life, we are in his debt," she informed.

No wanting to admit the truth Boba sighed in annoyance at his comrade when Din approached.

"Why are you both still here?" Din said baffled.

"Obviously Boba will not admit his debt to you for saving his life, as I am forever in Boba's debt as he saved mine when left for dead by the hands of Calican," Shand informed.

"I never," but Din was cut off.

"I know, lucky for me I always wear blaster gear, but close range doesn't hold up to well," Fennec showed off her horrific scars, "We will not rest until your children are safely back in your care," she promised.

"Thank you, but I am unsure if I can trust either of you," Din confirmed.

"Ideologies can change swiftly. I may not be sworn into your Creed but my father was given this armor as payment for his services to the Mandalore. He even fought in their Civil War so from one Mandalorian to another you have my word," Boba held out his arm to shake when technically Din had no choice and shook, "And besides no one betrays Boba Fett and gets away with it," he stated firmly placing Gideon on his black list.

The planet of Nevarro came into view when Boba Fett's ship, Slave 1, landed near the city. Din went into town to seek out his friends when he found Cara sitting at a desk with her feet propped up.

"Mando wasn't expecting you back so soon," Cara eagerly jumped to her feet but could sense a change in behavior from him, "What's wrong?"

"Gideon has them."

Suddenly her facial expression got real serious as she began plotting every scenario she could to get back those kids.

"I know you are a Marshal of the New Republic now but," Din didn't need to say no more.

"Whatever it is I'm in," Cara confirmed.

Gideon's Cruiser traveled through lightspeed when he received the news of some issues with the assets. He went to Osa's cell and upon entry found her hands bound, but still single handling taking on two Stormtroopers with ease.

She used her combat skills to her advantage but once Gideon walked in he was done with her antics. He pressed a button on his belt when an electric shock blasted from her cuffs and echoed through her body.

Osa went down quickly while Gideon towered over her with a smile on his face, "You truly are special Osa."

"You have no right to speak my name," she spat.

"Would you rather have me use number 25? Yes that would be more suitable with what's to come."

Osa extended her arms desperately trying to use the Force in order to throw Gideon against the wall, but she barely made him weave.

"That is the beauty of those cuffs, you can thank the good doctor from Veeno for those. Dr. Pershing has made such improvements as the beams cancels out a Jedi's abilities, seems you haven't learned that yet," Gideon knelt down and got close igniting a saber whose blade was black as night, "Have you ever seen this in the flesh? I am sure you are aware of the tales," Gideon was obviously unable to read Osa's expressions due to her helmet.

"Mandalore history right in front of your eyes, or at least I believe," Gideon retracted the blade and moved in to take Osa's helmet off when she retreated and pleaded.

"No, please, I can not break the Code," Osa informed hoping by some chance he would respect her wishes.

Gideon just smiled wide pleased with her fear, "For now," he rose and looked to his female officer, "Send an encrypted message to fetch Dr. Pershing, his test subjects are awaiting," Gideon almost threw his head back and laughed maliciously, everything was falling into place, he would succeed at any cost in order to help rise from the ashes his lost Empire.
