Had sooooooo much fun creating Season 1 and 2 of my Mandalorian Fanfiction! I hope you have also enjoyed this little journey with my OC character! I would really love to hear feedback and if in the future you would want to read a Season 3. Thank you so much for reading!

In the deepest part of space, Slave 1 had an Imperial Shuttle within its scope, Boba wanted to blow it to smithereens, but instead shocked the shuttle with an ion canon. Immediately the Imperial Shuttle seized in motion and hovered, the two pilots attempted all that they could to get the ship back online, when Boba's voice came over their comms.

"Lower your shields, disengage all transponders, prepare for boarding."

It didn't take long when Din entered the shuttle with his blaster drawn. Three individuals stood, two Imperial pilots and a doctor Din was all too familiar with.

"Before you make a mistake, this is Dr. Pershing," the lead pilot informed.

"We've met. Are my children alive?" Din asked the doctor afraid of his reply.

"Yes, they are on Gideon's cruiser," Dr. Pershing declared when the lead pilot placed a gun to the doctor's head.

It appeared the pilot was trying to take him hostage when Cara entered also blaster at the ready.

"Stay back, dropper," the pilot ordered ready to take the good doctor out.

"Easy, pal. Okay?" the other pilot chimed in with his hands up for surrender, "I'm not with him. We can work something out," but his comrade shot him down.

"Drop your weapon," Cara warned.

"No, you listen to me. This is a top-tier target of the New Republic, he is a clone engineer. And if they find out that he's dead because of you, you're gonna wish you never left Alderaan. I see your tear. You wanna know what else I saw? I saw your planet destroyed. I was on the Death Star."

"Which one?" Cara mocked.

"You think you're funny? Do you know how many millions were killed on those bases? And the galaxy cheered."

"Drop your blaster, last chance," Cara warned again.

"Destroying your planet was a small price to pay to rid the galaxy of terrorism," when Cara had enough and shot the pilot point blank. In agony Dr. Pershing clutched his ear and fell to his knees when Cara walked off while Din felt her pain.

It wasn't easy but finally Din located the whereabouts of Bo Katan. Din wasn't sure if Boba should be the one to accompany him, but he wanted to clear the air and show that Boba was on their side now.

The two walked into a crowded tavern as Bo and Koska sat in a corner. With caution Din approached and lead with a plea, "I need your help."

"Clearly," Bo glared at Boba.

"Not from him, Gideon took my children."

"You'll never find him," Bo declared disappointed.

"We don't need these two," Boba reassured trying to usher Din out but he needed every fighter he could get.

"We have Gideon's coordinates," Din stated.

"You can bring me to him?" Bo questioned uncertain.

"The Moff has a light cruiser. The ship could be helpful in your effort to regain Mandalore since," Din stopped himself.

"Since he blew up our ship," Koska pointed at Boba.

"You got to be kidding me, Mandalore. The Empire turned that planet to glass," Boba stated.

"You are a disgrace to the armor you wear," Bo spat.

"This armor belonged to my father."

"Don't you mean your donor?"

"Careful Princess."

"I know who you are. You are a clone. I've heard your voice thousands of times."

"Mine might be the last one you hear," when Koska jumped into action defending her ruler.

The fight was quick between Boba and Koska as Bo shouted for the two to stop once they began scorching the other with their flame thrower.

"Enough, the both of you. If we had shown half the spine to the Empire we would have never lost out planet. We will help you. In exchange, we will keep that ship to retake Mandalore. When a Mandalorian is in need the clan will do everything to help, especially when one of our own is in Gideon's clutches. I also hope you will reconsider joining our efforts along with your daughter. Mandalorians have been in exile from our home world for far too long," Bo hoped.

"Fair enough," Din said.

"One more thing. Gideon has a weapon that once belonged to me. It is an ancient weapon. I will kill the Moff and retake what is rightfully mine. With the Darksaber restored to me, Mandalore will finally be within reach," Bo declared.

"Help me rescue my children and you can have whatever you want. They are my only priority," Din confirmed.

Everyone boarded the Imperial Shuttle and gathered around a hologram of Moff Gideon's cruiser.

"Luckily this is Post Empire because a cruiser like this use to carry a crew of several hundred. Now it operates with a tiny fraction of that," Bo ran down.

"Your assessment is misleading," Dr. Pershing chimed in.

"Oh great, an objective opinion," Cara stated snarky.

"This isn't subterfuge. I assure you."

"Let him speak," Bo said intently.

"There's a garrison of Dark Troopers on board. They were the ones who abducted the children."

"How many troopers do they have armed in those suits?" Din questioned.

"These are third-generation design. They are no longer suits. The human inside was the final weakness to be solved. They're droids," Dr. Pershing informed.

"Where are they bivouacked?" Fennac entered the conversation.

Dr. Pershing approached the hologram wanting to be as helpful as possible, "They're held in cold storage in this cargo bay. They draw too much power to be kept at ready."

"How long to power up?" Fennac asked.

"A few minutes, perhaps," the doctor stated.

"Where are my children being held?" Din interjected eagerly.

Dr. Pershing pressed a button and showcased two brigs on opposite sides of the cruiser, "They are being held in two separate areas, heavily guarded, you would have to choose."

"No he doesn't," Cara stepped forward, "Which cell holds who?"

"The one closest to the lab holds number 25," Dr. Pershing stated but became uneasy with Din's hostile body language, "I mean your daughter."

"Very well, we split into two parties," Bo began to plan, "Phase one, Lambda shuttle issues a distress call. Two, we emergency land at the mouth of the fighter launch tube, cutting off any potential interceptors. Koska, Fennec, and myself disembark with maximum initiative. Once we've neutralized the launch bay, we make our way through these tandem decks in a penetration maneuver."

"And Cara and I?" Din asked.

"We'll be misdirection. Once we draw a crowd, you both slip through the shadows, and get the kids," Bo instructed.

"Those Dark Troopers are gonna be a real skank in the scud pie," Cara stepped in.

"Their bay is on the way where your daughter is being kept. Can you make it there before they deploy?" Bo asked Din.

"Yes," he replied in confidence.

"Here, take Dr. Pershing's code cylinder and seal off their holding bay. Anyone else, we can handle," Fennac said with assurance.

"We'll meet at the bridge," Din confirmed.

Everyone stayed in the Imperial Shuttle's cockpit as Slave 1 followed close behind while traveling through lightspeed.

"Moff Gideon is mine," Bo reiterated while piloting the shuttle, "Got it."

"He is ex-ISB. He's got a lot of information. I need him alive," Cara declared.

"I don't care what happens to him as long as he surrenders to me," Bo confirmed.

"Prepare to exit jump space," Boba came over the comm.

"Copy that. Get the hell out of there as soon as they clear us to dock," Bo demanded, "And your shots have to look convincing."

"Power up those shields, princess. I'll put on a good show."

"Watch out for those deck cannons," Bo warned.

"Don't worry about me. Just be careful."

"Didn't know you cared so much."

"I was talking to myself," Boba snickered.

"Exiting hyperspace in three…two…one," Koska counted down.

The two ships emerged and began their charade. Slave 1 tailed the Imperial Shuttle and fired rapidly while Bo made her maneuvers and began her distress call.

"This is Lambda shuttle, Two-Seven-Four-Three. Requesting emergency docking," silence filtered the comms, "Repeat, requesting emergency docking. We are under attack."

"Copy Lambda shuttle. Request received," a female officer came over, "Stay clear of launch tube. Deploying fighter squadron."

Bo and Koska glared at one another as TIE fighters began emerging and headed straight for the shuttle, because they were in their direct path. Bo stayed on target as the fighter quickly maneuvered to prevent impact.

"Request denied!" the female officer yelled, "Please clear launch tube until fighters deploy!"

"Negative! Negative! We are under attack," Bo stressed.

"Clear launch tube immediately," but Bo was persistent and made her landing.

Slave 1 wasted no time, destroyed a TIE fighter on his tail and then jumped to lightspeed. A swarm of Stormtroopers approached the Imperial shuttle declaring they needed to clear the launch tube when they were met by blaster fire. Bo began her phase one by clearing the area so Din and Cara could make their way towards the children. The ladies did their part while making their way towards the bridge to take over the ship and find Gideon.

Cara and Din emerged from the shuttle and went the opposite of Bo and her squadron. The two staled as Din knew he was making a choice between his children.

"Hey, you're not doing anything wrong. Gideon purposely did this, I will get the kid, you get your daughter," Cara stated.

"I don't want him thinking he is less important," Din said saddened.

"He won't, he will understand and I will not let you down."

"I know, head towards the bridge once you obtain him. His safety is number one priority. Understood?"

"Yes," Cara agreed when the two nodded their heads at one another and went their separate ways.

Din made his way as fast as he could while eluding the patrolling Stormtroopers. At long last he arrived at the Dark Troopers holding bay, but noticed they were ready to move out. Quickly Din inserted the code cylinder when the doors began to shut, but one Dark Trooper managed to escape.

The droid wasted no time and started its attack on Din, hitting him across the hall like a ragdoll and then pinning him to a wall. The Dark Trooper repeatedly punched Din in the face but luckily the Beskar was absorbing the impact. Trying anything Din blasted the droid in fire but that did nothing, he then tried his whistling birds but also no effect.

With one last resort Din grabbed hold of the Beskar spear and rammed it through the droids neck, causing several sparks and then decapitation. The cluster of Dark Troopers continued punching the holding cell windows, trying to break free when Din pulled the emergency release as the droids were blown out into the cold depths of space.

Realizing he was losing so much time, Din hurried to get to Osa's barge when he found two Stormtroopers on guard. The Troopers never stood a chance when Din took them out with ease, he then opened the door to find an image he never wanted to witness; Osa fully exposed, only wearing a shirt and shorts, flat on her back on an operating table and unconscious.

The room was filled with two medical droids probably programmed to experiment on his daughter or worse, there was several equipment illuminated ready for its test subject, as Moff Gideon stood next to his asset with the Darksaber ignited and a syringe already inserted into Osa's arm.

"Drop the blaster," Gideon demanded as Din did exactly as he was told, "Now kick it over to me,"

"Please don't hurt her," Din pleaded.

"You know in a way I was her father first. I saw her grow from infant to child, witnessed her first steps, heard her first word, granted until we frightened the assets into silence."

Din was doing everything in his power not to attack and beat Gideon into a bloody pulp.

"That is until Anara went soft and destroyed my lab. Osa was made for greatness, she is a one of a kind and probably should be wielding this," Gideon swung the Darksaber, "Used to belong to Bo Katan, and yes I know you have been traveling with her. Friendly piece of advice, assume I now everything. Like the fact that your wrist launcher has fired your one and only salvo."

"I don't care all I want is my daughter and son."

"Well you should care, I'm guessing that Bo and her party have arrived at the bridge, seeking me or, more accurately, the saber. But naturally I'm not there. And I imagine that they've killed everyone on the bridge, being the murderous savages that they are. And now, they're beginning to panic. You see she wants this. Do you know why because it brings power. Whoever wields this sword has the right to lay claim to the Mandalorian throne."

"You keep it. I just want my children."

"Oh yes, upset I put you through a Sophie's choice? I would assume Marshal Dune is obtaining the child, yes? How can no one see the good I am trying to achieve? Both of your children are extremely gifted and has been blessed with rare properties that have the potential to bring order back to the galaxy, but you don't see that."

Din could tell Gideon was becoming anxious and hoped to calm him down, "Why can't you do good in other ways?" Din slowly approached hoping to knock Gideon's hand away from the, most likely, lethal injection, "I am sure you can achieve greatness in so many ways."

"Of course and if I must start over just to see you suffer, I can live with that also," when Gideon injected Osa as Din moved in but Gideon struck his opponent in the back with the saber's blade, but luckily the Beskar held up.

Immediately the two went into battle where Gideon wielded the Darksaber easier then Din expected. Luckily Din's armor with stood the blade, but he still sustained some injuries as it licked between the plates.

Din used the Beskar spear but the more the blade made contact the weaker the spear was becoming, Din had to end the fight quickly because out of the corner of his eye he saw Osa convulsing. With this added rage Din performed some unique maneuvers, slammed the butt of the spear against Gideon's face and won the battle. Gideon's body went limp as he fell to the floor unconscious.

In order to secure his prisoner, Din rammed the spear through the top of Gideon's breast plate and into the ground, rooting him in case he awoke. With one issue resolved Din rushed to Osa's side and noticed she had seized movement and was no longer breathing.

Din ripped out all the IV's and tubes hooked up to her and laid her on the ground. He remembered in a training op a Mandalorian teaching them a technique on how to get someone breathing again.

Without hesitation Din removed his helmet and began performing CPR. Luckily Osa was not wearing her armor otherwise the compressions Din was performing wouldn't have worked.

"Come on Osa, breathe," Din encouraged while giving her breaths, "Come on Osa, come back to me," as he pressed his hands on her chest, "Osa," he screamed in anger when she wasn't waking up.

Din was only focused on his daughter when Cara entered with Yazel in her arms. He also appeared to be in rough shape, eyes opening and closing, fighting unconsciousness. At first Cara was taken aback as both Osa and Din were exposed, she could see their identities and at first she smiled but then realized the horror that was at hand.

Instantly her training as a Rebel soldier kicked in as if one of her comrades was injured in battle. Cara saw Din's attempt to save Osa but what they needed to do was restart her heart. Rapidly Cara searched for anything to give off a jolt of electricity and noticed a high power generator.

She placed Yazel next to Din and went to rip off the generator's panel but she would have to pry it open with something sharp. With quick thinking Cara pulled out the Mudhorn insigna Osa made her and used that to get access, the medallion bent the panel backwards exposing the dangerous wires.

Cara quickly found the two she would need and fused them to two pads. She then yelled for Din to move and placed the man-made medical equipment in the appropriate spots on Osa's chest.

"Stand clear!" Cara shouted and turned a nob that sent a jolt of electricity directly into Osa. In reaction Osa's body extended upwards and then flopped back down with no response.

"Come on kiddo, don't quit on me now," Cara yelled and turned the knob again sending another wave into her patient. Din stared at his motionless daughter, his pride, his joy, he didn't know how he could live on without her. Ever since she came into his life she had become his everything.

He lowered his head and began whispering the prayer his mother taught him as a child. It had been decades since Din had uttered a single verse, but something inside him screamed for him to reach out. Din scooped up Yazel within his embrace speaking the words in a hushed tone as he continued hearing the failed attempts to bring Osa back.

With all his might Din recited the mantra, with all his might Din exerted hope, with all his might Din said the final words begging for his Pequeno to come back, and come back she did.

A sudden gasp of air and then immediate coughing occurred, Osa's head tilted from side-to-side as her hands tried to ward off the approaching figure. Realizing her fear, Din had to reassure Osa that it was him and not some ruthless doctor.

"Mi Pequeno it's me," Din brushed Osa's hair out of her face as she was coming to.

"Papi," was all she could say when Din wasted no time and scooped her into his embrace.

The family of three held each other with all their might and quietly wept, happy they were all together again. Cara watched ecstatic she could be of service, but then remembered she probably shouldn't be witnessing this interaction. She quickly found Din's helmet and gently slide it over to him while diverting her gaze.

The three untangled themselves and remembered they weren't alone. Before Din acknowledged Cara he noticed an exact replica of his Mudhorn insigna lay bent next to him. He could recognize his daughter's craftsmanship anywhere and picked up the medallion.

"I gave that to Cara. I know I don't have the authority to induct anyone into our clan, but I couldn't think of anyone more worthy then her," Osa explained, even seeing now Cara's dedication by obscuring her view of them.

"You are absolutely correct," Din stated and turned to Cara, "Truly thank you. Osa was right, I would be honored for you to be apart of Clan Djarin," Din extended his hand and handed Cara the mangled insignia, "It's okay, you can look at us," he assured.

Hesitant Cara turned slowly and looked at them head on, fully able to soak in their appearance. She smiled from ear-to-ear and reclaimed her badge with joy. Osa wasted no time and reached for Cara to join, when she pulled Cara into their circle as everyone hugged her to officially welcome Cara into the clan.

Having everything under control, Din knew it was a good time to head towards the bridge where the rest of their crew waited. Din put his helmet on when he gazed at Osa still exposed.

She could sense her father's uneasiness and spoke, "I don't know where my armor is."

"It's okay," he ran his hand over her face and caressed her cheek, "Let's not worry about that now."

Not wanting to risk anything, Din cuffed Gideon and vigorously shook him awake. Cara carried Yazel while Din noticed Osa was to weak to walk. He pulled Gideon to his feet as Din cradled Osa in his arms, he then prodded Gideon in the back with his blaster to have everyone get a move on.

It didn't take long for them to reach the bridge when they only found Fennac managing the bridge. Din set Osa down against a video surveillance station along with Yazel.

"Where's Bo?" Din asked Fennac while obscuring her view of Osa.

"Out looking for him," she pointed to Gideon who smiled to himself when the bridge doors opened.

Bo and Koska stood there shocked on what she was witnessing.

"What do you not understand of Gideon is mine?" Bo exclaimed at Din when she saw the Darksaber clipped to his belt.

"Why don't you kill him now and take it?" Gideon egged when Cara pushed him to the ground, "It's yours now," he informed Din.

"What is?" Din said perplexed.

"The Darksaber it belongs to you."

"No, it belongs to her," Din out stretched his hand for Bo to take the weapon.

"She can't take it. It must be won in battle. In order for her to wield the Darksaber again, she would need to defeat you in combat," Gideon explained.

"I yield. It's yours," Din tried to hand the saber to Bo but she kept refusing.

"Oh no, it doesn't work that way. The Darksaber doesn't have power. The story does, without that blade she's a pretender to the throne."

"He's right," Bo finally spoke remembering when another Mandalorian just handed her the blade.

"Come on. Just take it," Din urged with his hand still out stretched when the ship's alarms began going off.

"Well perhaps she'll get another crack at it," Gideon said knowing all to well what was coming.

"The ray shields have been breached, we're being boarded," Fennac informed while looking at the computer screens.

"How many life forms?" Bo asked while also taking a gander.

"None," Fennac said deadpan as the Dark Troopers began making their way back onto the ship.

"You're about to face off with the Dark Troopers. You had your hands full with one," Gideon addressed Din, "Let's see how you do against a platoon."

Osa lifted herself up and saw about a dozen troopers heading their way, "They're almost here," she exclaimed.

"Take this," Din knelt beside his children while handing over his blaster to Osa.

"No, you have to protect yourself," Osa tried to reason.

"As do you, if they break through our lines aim for their neck," Din declared.

"Seal the blast doors," Fennac commanded as Koska followed suit.

Everyone geared up anticipating the outcome while the Troopers started pounding on the doors.

"You have an impressive fire team protecting you. But I think we all know, after a valiant stand, everyone in this room will be dead, but me, and the assets," Gideon emphasized at Din.

The doors were slowly giving way when another alarm sounded informing a ship was approaching.

"An X-wing," Koska spotted.

"One X-wing? Great. We're saved," Cara sarcastically spat.

Bo went to the comms panel asking for the craft to identify itself but they remained silent.

Suddenly Yazel touched Osa communicating telepathically so she was aware of how serious their situation was.

Osa glared at the screens again and saw a hooded figure walk through the corridors, she sat back down and gripped onto her father's blaster while looking at Yazel.

"He won't make it to us in time," Osa glared around seeing everyone ready themselves again as the Troopers began prying open the doors, "I have to do something," when Osa rose to her feet and knew her purpose.

"Fire!" Bo yelled as the first wave of Troopers entered. Realizing their blaster fire wasn't doing anything, they continued firing hoping they could at least slow the droids down. Din took his spear and started battling, trying to achieve another victory of decapitation but there were more Troopers on him this time.

He fought vigorously and felt a tug at his belt as the Darksaber began moving by itself. Unable to secure it Din then watched as the weapon ripped away, soar through the air and into his daughter's hand. Without thought Osa ignited the blade and posed surveillancing the layout and her targets.

Satisfied with her plan of attack she moved quickly taking out the closest Troopers who where about to strike down Bo, but the blade cut through their exoskeleton like butter.

Effortlessly Osa wielded the saber as if it was meant to be hers, it felt like the natural order had been aligned as she continued cutting down Trooper after Trooper.

Noticing her father in trouble Osa stepped in front, when the droid seized its attack because it was programmed not to harm her, and with this default made the Trooper meet its demise.

With one swoop Osa cut the machine's head clear off and gazed around the room realizing she had taken out the first wave. Everyone glared in shock as Bo whispered, "She's a Jedi?" But then the second wave of Troopers made their attempt to enter.

Osa took her position at point with saber glowing at the ready as everyone stood behind her while Din took his stance by his daughter's side, but there was no need to fight because the Troopers had been taken down by the mysterious hero.

Sensing the end of the line, Gideon found a blaster lying on the floor and shot at Bo, but her armor held up, seeing no effect Gideon changed targets.

"You will lose one of your children today," when Gideon turned his blaster onto Yazel but Din dove and shielded his son with his own body.

Cara having enough of Gideon's antics slammed him in the face with her weapon. Yazel began making some cooing noises while pointing at the screen as the hooded figure waited.

Din took Yazel in his arms and instructed for someone to open the doors, but everyone was apprehensive. Din moved next to Osa while asking for someone to open the doors again when he did it himself.

The hooded figure walked into the room as everyone had their weapons drawn apart from Din while Osa retracted the Darksaber. The individual, not wanting to pose as a threat, retracted his green blade, hooking the lightsaber back on his belt and then lowered his hood.

"Are you a Jedi?" Din questioned.

"I am, my name is Luke Skywalker and I heard their calls through the Force," Luke pointed towards Yazel and Osa, "I understand both of your hesitation but talent without training is nothing. I will give my life to protect them, but they will not be safe until they both master their abilities," Luke informed.

Din nodded his head agreeing as he always had this mentality. He turned to Osa with Yazel in his arms, "That's who you both belong with. He's one of your kind," Din could see the fear escalate within his children, especially Osa, "Don't be afraid," he embraced Osa pressing her firmly against his body as he was also in torment.

"This is why I'm upset, because I'm actually not afraid," Osa stated.

"You don't know how happy that makes me. It means I did my job as your father and you're ready," Din could still see a hint of hesitation and reassured her, "We will see each other again, Mi Pequeno."

"You promise Papi."

Din did something that Osa never thought in a million years her father would ever do, in front of non-clan members; he removed his helmet.

"I promise," Din placed his forehead onto Osa's while he caressed her cheek with his thumb. He then stroked Yazel's ear while the three had their personal moment.

Osa didn't want to part from her father just yet and hugged him one last time. Din kissed the top of her head while inhaling her and Anara's scent. Osa glared up at her father seeing the bravery in his face, but with torment in his eyes.

"Time for the both of you to go," Din handed his daughter Yazel when Osa handed back the Darksaber to her father.

Osa slowly walked over to Master Skywalker when a blue and white protocol droid strolled in and began beeping enthusiastically. Yazel became excited and cooed with recognition. It appeared the two started talking to the other as Osa picked up on the droid's name being R2-D2. She smiled at them reminiscing when Luke bid farewell with a "May the Force Be with You" and then escorted his newest padawans down the corridor and into the elevator. As Osa entered she turned to face out and saw Bo, Koska, and Fennec look on in awe, Care smiled proud of Osa and Yazel's achievement, while Din nodded with encouragement and eternal love for his children.
