Here's the newest "adventure!" I've got a couple more planned, but I want to separate them by other chapters. So, if anyone has suggestions I'm all for hearing them!

To the person asking for a DickBabs babyfic involving Haley: it's coming. I just wanna get in a few other things first :D

Chapter Word Count: 1,002

Haley was bored. Everyone in the pack was in the cave beneath the den. The humans were scattered around, but Haley, Titus, and Ace had been told to stay under the big light box. At least they had some very comfortable beds to lay on. The rock floor was hard!

Haley watched as her human and his siblings played with one another. They weren't very good at it in Haley's opinion. None of them knocked each other down nearly as much as Haley and Titus did. Though usually, it was Haley who ended up on the floor. Sometimes she caught Titus by surprise though!

Looking around, Haley realized no one was paying attention to her and her cousins. She didn't want to bother the human pups while they were playing, but she noticed Bruce was by the black car that stayed in the cave. She nudged Titus before jumping off her bed, asking her cousin to follow her. While having Titus with her made it more likely for them both to be caught, everything was a lot more fun with him around.

Haley and Titus padded across the cave to Bruce. Most of his body was under the car, and they could only see his legs and feet. It was easy for the two dogs to sneak up on him. Haley and Titus weren't allowed to be near the black car. They also weren't allowed near most of the cars upstairs. One exception was Haley's human's car. He didn't care if they were in that one. He took Haley and Titus to a lot of places in it. The other exception was the car Alfred used to pick up Damian from where he spent time with the other human pups. Haley and Titus were sometimes allowed to go with him.

The back door to the cave car was open. Curious, Haley and Titus hopped in and sniffed around. It smelled a lot different from the back of Haley's human's car. Less like food and sweat and more like leather and chemicals. Haley wasn't sure if she liked it or not. It also wasn't as light and inviting. The windows seemed to be darkened somehow. Haley didn't like that at all.

Another difference was that you could get into the trunk from the back seat. Haley was too little to get there by herself, but Titus helped her by lifting her with his mouth. He was able to jump over the back seat all by himself. Haley took in her new surroundings. There was a lot of stuff in here! Haley didn't know what a lot of it was, but some of it she recognized as things their humans used to help other humans.

The downside of there being a lot of things in the trunk was that there wasn't much room for anything else. Most of the space was already taken up. That didn't stop them from trying to move around, though Haley had more success than Titus. For once, his larger size was a disadvantage.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much room behind the seats for Haley either. After only a few minutes of exploring, she found herself tangled in some sort of rope. Titus tried to help her, but in his haste, he forgot to be careful moving around. Haley couldn't help but whine and whimper when he knocked into some things, making a loud clang. The loud noise hurt her ears.

"What the hell?" The voice was muffled, but Haley could tell it was Bruce. It came from below them, so he must still be under the car.

Suddenly, there was a click, and Haley was forced to squint when light filled the car. When her eyes adjusted, she looked up to see Bruce's surprised face. He made eye contact with her for a moment before turning to the other humans.

"Dick! Damian! Your dogs somehow got in the trunk of the Batmobile. Come get them!" The sounds of the human pups playing stopped, and soon Damian and Haley's human's faces appeared next to their father. Haley started yipping when she saw her human. He would be able to help her get free of the rope!

"Haley!" Her human gasped. "What are you doing in there, girl? How'd you even get there?" He began to untangle Haley from the rope, and she tried to help him. Though she wasn't sure how successful she was. At least it made her human laugh.

"Apologies, Father," Damian said. "Titus and Haley were both on their beds with Ace the last time I looked towards them." He then went to the backseat of the car and coaxed Titus out from behind the seats.

Once Haley was untangled, her human pulled her into his arms. Over his shoulder, she could see the other human pups watching them. They seemed to find the situation funny, since they were all either smiling or laughing. Haley's human carried her back to the glowing box, Ace, and her bed. Damian followed, leading Titus. Haley was set down on her bed as her human lightly scolded her.

"You need to stay here, girl. It's not safe for you to be wandering around here. There's a lot of stuff that could hurt you. If you can't stay here on your own, I'll have to find a way to keep you here. And I don't want to do that." As her human turned to return to the other human pups, Haley settled back down. Soon, the sounds of the human pups playing began to lull her to sleep.

One of these days, she really needed to figure out where the humans went when they left in the cave car. She knew they ended up on the glowing boxes, but she had never figured out how that happened. Maybe she should sneak into the car again. She'd never be able to follow the car, but maybe she could get the humans to take her with them. She just wanted to see how it worked.

How did the extremely observant people in the Batcave miss the Great Dane walking across the floor? Plot reasons, that's why.

Who else enjoyed the Dick Grayson/Jon Kent team up? I wish it was more than two issues! I'm a poor college student, but I kinda want to start subscribing to Jon's Superman run. Jon Kent is a precious cinnamon roll that must be protected at all costs. Also, I just love Tom Taylor as a writer.
