The Schemes of the Titanic Captain

Hello Everyone and welcome to the latest chapter of the 'Servant Who Will Rule the Seas'! And it might be a set up chapter but that doesn't mean it can't still be fun. Also, as announced before redfang19 is looking for any writers interested in collaborating on a One Piece x Yu-GI-OH GX crossover, so let him know if you're interested. And as mentioned before don't forget to check out my book, Plains Riders, on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. Now I've said all I needed to say and with no review questions this week, let's dive on in!

The Sea Near Lulusia Kingdom

"Alright," said Luffy as he stood on the deck of the Sunny, "sorry I kept you guys all waiting, but we're finally setting out again!" A cheer came from most of the crew members like Usopp, Chopper, Frankie and Brook while some of the more reserved members like Robin and Zoro, nodded with smiles on their faces. Others, like Nami and Sanji, were just plain annoyed.

"I still can't understand why you kept telling Sanji to wait," said Nami, "you said the day before yesterday that you had a plan and then you didn't show up at all. Do you have any idea how worried we were?"

"You mean you guys didn't go to the festival," asked Luffy with a tilt of his head. This, of course, enraged Nami who knocked her captain upside the head.

"YES! We sent Usopp and Sanji out to look for you in the town while the rest of us looked around the outside! But in case you forgot there's a Marine Base not far from here and more than a few of us are pretty recognizable these days! We didn't know what to think at first when a Lulusian royal guard came up and gave Sanji a message. Half of us thought it was a trap!"

"Why would you think that," said Luffy, "Komane's not really good at traps? She found me by complete accident, after all."

"And how would we know she's not good at that type of thing?!" Exclaimed Nami, "you're the only one who talked to her!"

"Oh, yeah I guess when you put it like that," admitted Luffy while rubbing the back of his head, "I was just having so much fun over there for a bit. But it all turned out okay, and our next stop is Whole Cake Island!" Nami put her hands on her hips and let out a sigh.

"Yes, it turned out fine this time," she said, "just try not to fall overboard again before we reach Whole Cake Island."

"You got it," said Luffy with his trademark grin as Nami turned and headed to the ship's cabins. As soon as she did, though, the Straw Hat Captain's smile faded as he turned to look back at the island shrinking in the distance. 'Yeah, it really did turn out fine, right?' And yet for some reason, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that they were leaving. It was a strange feeling, like he'd forgotten something but more than that. It felt as if he was leaving something important behind.

Eventually, the Straw Hat Captain made himself turn away from the island, knowing that staring at it too much longer would only make this strange feeling grow stronger. And that's when something unexpected happened. First, the sound of a massive cannon went off in the distance, followed shortly after by the sound of something falling from the sky. "INCOMING!" Exclaimed Usopp as everyone looked up to see a shower of small black spheres coming towards them.

Several of the Straw Hat Pirate's weapons were out in an instant as they moved to deflect the projectiles. "Three Sword-style Whirlwind!" Exclaimed Zoro as he jumped and spun in midair, creating a powerful blast of swirling wind that either cut through or diverted the spheres.

"Basse Cote!" Declares Sanji as he leaps into the air with his skywalk before spinning around to unleash a whirlwind of his own, blasting away even more of the projectiles.

"Gum Gum Gatling!" Yelled Luffy as he too leapt into the fray and unleashed his signature barrage of rapid stretch punches. Between the three of them, not a single one of the strange projectiles touched the ship as they crumbled to pieces. But upon closer inspection, damaging the Sunny or hurting any of the crew didn't seem to have been the aim of the bombardment. The reason being that when the little spheres were destroyed, inside were pieces of paper, many of which were now raining down like confetti.

"What in the world kind of cannonballs are these?" Asked Chopper as he gazed at the falling papers with the rest of the crew.

"I get the feeling they were meant to be a message," said Nami as Robin caught one of the more intact pieces of paper and examined it.

"It appears to be addressed to you, Luffy," she said while still skimming the small writing, "it says to go look at the road to the castle, and try to guess who's missing." The Straw Hat Captain sucked in a breath as his eyes widened in realization.

"Franky!" He called up to the cyborg at the captain's wheel, "get us back to the port as fast as you can!"

"What, but why," asked Franky, "we just got you off of that place? Why in the world-?"

"I'll explain on the way but get us back there now!" Exclaimed Luffy as he turned and stared at the island kingdom in the distance. 'I don't know what's happening, but I got a bad feeling it has to do with Komane,' he thought as the Thousand Sunny changed direction and headed back the way they'd come. Unlike last time, though, they weren't worried about being subtle while approaching the island.

Case in point being Franky hitting the switch for the Coup De Burst maneuver, firing the Sunny's hidden cannon to send it rocketing into the air. He'd do this a couple more times before they had to slow down. "Don't bother going for the docks," said Luffy, "just get us close enough to shore that we can get off."

"I still don't see what all the fuss is about," said Franky, "why are we needing to get back there so fast?!"

"KOMANE'S IN DANGER!" Exclaimed Luffy, having to yell over the sound of the Sunny moving so quickly.

"I don't know who that is but they're clearly important," said the Cyborg as he steered the Sunny to the left of the dock and headed for the beach, "I'll get us as close as I can."

"That'll be close enough," said Luffy as he moved back and stretched his arms out, grabbing onto the ship's railing. He pulled back as hard as he could while Nami's eyes widened.

"Oh don't tell me you're really gonna," the Navigator said right before her captain shot out like a stone from a slingshot, only going a thousand times farther.

"Why does that idiot always have to leapt into things like that," said Sanji in annoyance as he watched Luffy land on the beach, "does he have any idea what could've happened if he'd been off by just a bit?"

"I doubt he cares," said Zoro, "you didn't see the look in his eye but he's on a mission right now. Do you happen to know who this Komane person is?"

"Are you serious?!" Sanji practically yelled, "I told you who she was already! She's the princess who's been holding Luffy captive for the last few days. Were you even listening when I was explaining all of that the first time?!"

"Not really," said Zoro, "Luffy kept telling you to hold off so he clearly wasn't in any real danger."

"That doesn't mean you should just tune me out when I'm explaining things, moss head!" Exclaimed Sanji.

"You wanna say that again, shitty cook!" Zoro shot back before the two started throwing kicks and blunt sword slashes at each other.

"There they go again," sighed Nami, "just get us parked somewhere that we can get off, Franky. Looks like we'll be playing catch up, again." And they'd have to hurry fast as Luffy hit the ground running after his slingshot maneuver. He scrambled up the hillside of the beach that led to the outskirts of town and raced down the road he'd seen Komane's carriage head down.

If he actually took a moment to think he might've wondered to himself why he was in such a rush. He'd told people before he wasn't a hero and while he'd jump to the defense of any one of his friends or an innocent, there seemed to be something different this time. The Straw Hat Pirate didn't know why but for some reason the thought of the Lulusian Princess being in danger made his heart race and his adrenaline pump. He remembered a similar feeling whenever he raced to save one of his crew, yet even that description didn't seem quite right.

There was some kind of underlying desperation to his fear, like he couldn't bear the thought that something might've happened to Komane. And so he ran as fast as he could down the trail that led to the castle, his eyes peeled and his ears open as he did so. It didn't take long for him to notice a small sliver of smoke in the air coming from further up the road. That was all the motivation he needed to activate Second Gear, the increased blood flow flooding his body with new strength and speed as he raced forward so fast that dust and debris were kicked up behind him in a large cloud.

It was only at the last second that he remembered to slow down before coming upon the source of the smoke: the Princess's burning carriage. "KOMANE!" Yelled Luffy as he immediately moved to the carriage and yanked the door off, ignoring the pain of the small burns it caused him. He called once more as he looked in before noting, to his relief, that no one was inside. Though this would be all he had time to see as the burning carriage collapsed the rest of the way.

'At least I know she wasn't in there,' thought Luffy, 'but what happened here and where did she go?' His question would be answered by the sound of groaning. Looking over towards the noise the Straw Hat Pirate gasped in surprise as he saw both Burt and Dugan on the ground, heavily injured. "L-Luffy," coughed Dugan, "is that you up there?"

"Yeah it's me," he replied as he pulled the two over and sat them up against a large rock on the side of the road, "my friends should be here in a bit and Chopper can fix you guys up. He's the best doctor ever."

"Don't worry….about us," coughed Burt, "we'll be fine in a bit. It's Komane we're worried about."

"Do you know where she is?" Asked Luffy, trying not to sound frantic, "is she okay, and what even happened here?"

"It was one of Blackbeard's men," answered Dugan, "he said his name was Jesus Burgess."

"That guy again," said the Straw Hat Captain as he clenched his fist, "he must've gotten away from Sabo somehow. But what does he want with Komane?"

"It's not Komane he wants," said Burt as he held out his hand, "she's just the bait. The one he's really after is you." He dropped a couple sheets of paper into Luffy's hand then. One was only a small piece with Burgess's name on it while the other was a sheet which he unfolded to find a letter written on the inside.

'Hey there Straw Hat,' the letter read, 'I noticed you've taken quite a liking to this princess, not that I blame you. If you'll recall, you and I have a score to settle from back in Dressrosa and I've got just the place we can do it. I've left a piece of my vivre card there so you can find me but don't take too long to show up, or I might just help myself to your little lady. See you soon, Straw Hat, Sincerely Jesus Burgess.'

Luffy crushed the letter in his hand before destroying it with a sudden outflowing of haki. He could practically hear the man's laughter right now as he forced himself not to lash out and destroy the first thing he could. "If he wanted a fight so bad," said the Pirate Captain before looking at the piece of vivre card in his hand, "he should've just said so."

"We should report this to the king," said Burt, "we can also call on the Marine Base too. Even if he is under one of the four emperors, there's no way we can allow him to get away with such an outrageous offense!"

"You can do that if you want," said Luffy as he turned to leave, "but that guy won't go down easy and we can't afford to wait. So I'm going on ahead and bringing her back."

"Wait, you can't go after a man like that alone," said Dugan, "he's sure to have reinforcements. This whole thing is obviously a trap!" The Straw Hat Pirate stopped then, his eyes shaded by his hat before he smiled.

"Who said I'm going to be taking him alone," replied Luffy as he spied Chopper and some of the faster members of the crew approaching. It took the crew's doctor no time at all to patch up the two bodyguards and by the time he was done they were confident they could get back to the castle on their own. The duo would explain the situation to the King, who they said had a way to find Komane, while the Straw Hat Pirates themselves rushed back to the Thousand Sunny and immediately set sail towards their next destination.

"Alright," said Nami as she looked at a map of the local Island chain, "we know he's not heading northeast because that's where Marine Base G-2 is located. We could've figured that out even without the vivre card. Instead it looks like he's heading west towards another chain, here." The Navigator pointed to a small group of islands several miles from Lulusia Kingdom. "This is Foodvalten, a former territory of Whitebeard before he died. Given Blackbeard's status as one of the four emperors it's likely they've taken over most of his former territory."

"Looks like it'd be a good place to spring a trap," noted Sanji, "what do you think we should expect when we get there?"

"Hopefully Burgess will want to fight Luffy alone, though that's probably just wishful thinking," said Nami, "since he's one of the ten titanic captains, we should at least expect the crew of his personal ship to be there."

"My money says he starts throwing things at us," Zoro commented, only half-jokingly, "apparently he really liked doing that back at Dressrossa."

"No need to worry about that," said Franky, "between our strength and the Sunny's defensive systems we should be able to handle any kind of projectile he throws at us."

"Let's hope so," said Nami, "we'll also need a plan for when we make landfall on the island. I don't know how good this Burgess guy is at setting up traps but the fewer we run into the better."

"It doesn't matter how many traps he tries to throw at us," said Luffy with grim determination in his eyes, "we'll bust through every last one of 'em, take that guy down and get Komane out of there. And we'll do it fighting just as hard for her as we would any one of our other friends!" It didn't escape the crew's notice how truly serious he was about this, especially given that their normally gluttonous captain didn't freak out at the name 'Foodvalten'.

"Guess there isn't a lot of arguing with that," said Usopp as he turned back to Nami, "how long will it take for us to get there?"

"Provided the current and everything else is in our favor," replied the Navigator, "we'll reach Foodvalten by tomorrow."

"Then we'd best rest up while we can," said Chopper, "I get the feeling things are gonna get real crazy real soon."

Nighttime: The Island of Foodvalten

Komane's current situation might be considered ironic in a sense. Only a few days ago she'd taken a, mostly, random person and had them collared and locked in one of the cells of the Lulusia castle's dungeons. Now here she was, locked in a cell with her hands bound above her head and her outfit in shambles, especially the lower part which had been practically reduced to a short skirt. She'd been given food and water in slightly regular increments, just enough to keep her from starving or dying of dehydration, along with an occasional trip to the restroom. She was given few comforts beyond that.

She'd replayed the events leading up to this moment in her head numerous times now, finding herself quite worried about her two bodyguards, which was unusual in her opinion. Dugan and Burt had tried to stop the kidnapping but the titanic captain had simply been in another dimension in terms of strength, brutally beating them with ease. She'd acted on a strange feeling then, placing herself between her guards and their attacker, saying she'd cooperate if he let them go. The Blackbeard Pirate had agreed, but not before setting her carriage on fire and unceremoniously knocking her out.

She'd woken up a prisoner on his ship after that as he explained who he was and why he'd abducted her. He was Jesus Burgess, one of the original members of the Blackbeard pirates before their rise to power, the helmsman to be precise. But after the battle at Marineford where Whitebeard died, he and a batch of some of the worst criminals in the world from Impel Down had managed to defeat the former warlord's remaining forces and establish themselves as rulers over his old domain. Or at least most of it anyway. It all happened during the two-year period when the Straw Hats had seemingly disappeared.

When the Straw Hats returned, though, things went south for more than a few people. It turned out that Burgess had been fighting at the coliseum in Dressrosa when Luffy and his apparent brother, Sabo, had shown up and utterly wrecked the place. She'd seen the anger in his eyes then as he recounted his defeat at their hands, especially Sabo who'd burnt him near to death in their last encounter. Naturally this wet his appetite for vengeance and he'd started with one of the headquarters of the Revolutionary Army, which he'd discovered after stowing away aboard one of their ships.

But Sabo had definitely escaped the destruction of the base and now Burgess needed a way to lure him out, or at least hurt him. 'And he intends to use Luffy as bait for that,' she thought, 'and I'm the bait for Luffy. But will he even come for me after everything?' It was a question she'd get the answer too sooner than she expected as the door to the dungeon opened up nosily to admit one of the last people she wanted to see: her captor, Burgess. "And how are we doing right now, Princess," he said with an evil grin.

"I'd be in a better mood if you let me out and dropped dead," replied Komane with narrowed eyes. Yet another oddity to her behavior lately. Had she been kidnapped before she would've been begging them not to hurt her and that her father would pay whatever they wanted. But Luffy wasn't fond of weak-willed people and she, for whatever reason, didn't want him to see her like that.

"Wiiihahahaha!" Laughed the Blackbeard Pirate, "it's no wonder Straw Hat was hanging around you so long! He seems to like ladies with a little bit of spunk if his two crewmates are anything to go by."

"He recruited them because he saw how good they were at what they did," said Komane, "and he's not the pickiest person ever. If you can make him say 'wow' then he'll ask you to join."

"It's a wonder his crew's managed to survive as long as they have if that's the case," commented Burgess as he opened the cell door, "Blackbeard's a much better judge of one's abilities. If you're not strong then you got no chance of joining his crew. That's why we went from sailing on a giant raft to having ten ships and numerous crews under our command."

"From what I hear he's also an underhanded, opportunistic bastard," spat Komane, "it took nearly all of you to bring down Whitebeard and then you ran for it the moment Red-haired Shanks showed up."

"Ha, we didn't run," said Burgess, "the Admiral got what he'd come for. There was no reason to keep hanging around that warzone since our objective was complete. And even if we did, a fight between two Yonko would've destroyed what remained of Marineford."

"Keep telling yourself that," said Komane, "I'll bet you made up all kinds of excuses when you got your ass handed to you by Luffy and Sa-BAAAAAAMMMM!" The Princess jumped a bit as the giant of a man slammed his large hand on the wall next to her.

"Just because I like a little spunk doesn't mean I'll keep letting you say whatever you want," Burgess said, still grinning evilly, "yeah Sabo took me down once but he won't be so lucky next time. I was happy to wait and take on any and all comers at the coliseum but after he nearly burnt me to death I ain't got the patience to go looking for him."

"You'd need Luffy for that," said Komane, "but you're going to be disappointed. I don't know how you found him in my kingdom but you definitely misread the situation. I was keeping Luffy as a prisoner, a servant of my very own because my current one had retired. We were nothing but headaches for each other over the last few days and it was only because he helped me out that I decided to let him go. Luffy is a lot of things but I doubt he'd put in the effort to come rescue me after everything I did to him."

"WIIIHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Laughed Burgess yet again, "oh that was almost convincing! But I know Straw Hat and his crew better than you think. I've heard the stories and after fighting him I know his character pretty well. He's the kind of moron who'd stick his neck out for just about anyone whether they deserve it or not."

"So you think he's really coming for me," questioned Komane, actually somewhat curious about the matter.

"Definitely," said Burgess, "and how could he not? I left him a way to find me and everything. I'm expecting him to arrive pretty soon now."

"That's," Komane said as she actually felt her heart flutter a bit. She didn't know why, but the thought of Luffy being willing to fight for her made her happy. Which is why she was smiling when she said her next words. "That sounds absolutely perfect. You said you fought against him before well he's only grown stronger since then. And I'll have a front row seat to watch you getting beaten down!"

"You'd like to think so," said Burgess as he clapped his hand around her chin and throat before lifting her up slightly, "but I'm not some idiot who never learns. I am Jesus Burgess, the Champ and one of the ten titanic captains of the Yonko Blackbeard! And I intend to mop the floor with that little rubber shit and then I'll turn him into an actual lure for bringing in his brother. The Admiral will reward me greatly for bringing in both the Mera Mera and the Gum Gum fruits and I think I already know what my first reward should be."

He reached into his pocket with his other hand then and produced a small pink pill that was shaped like a malformed heart. Komane could barely resist as he forcefully shoved it into her mouth and held her head back so that she'd be forced to swallow. The Pirate repeated the process with another pill, making her nearly gag before he dropped the Lulusian princess back onto the ground. Komane didn't know whether it was the adrenaline or the pills but she quickly found herself out of breath. "What," she gasped as heat seemed to course through her body and make her chest throb, "what did you just force me to take?"

"A little experiment from our physician, Doc Q," explained Burgess, "he says he made it on accident while trying to create pills that would cause people to explode. Or at least make certain body parts explode. That sickly bastard was always a weird one but I do owe him for patching me up. Anyway the pill I gave you isn't going to blow you up but rather 'enhance' certain parts of your body. Not only that, it has a side effect of sorts that makes you a bit more 'open' to getting frisky, WIIIHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"I," breathed Komane, "I don't understand. Why in the world would you give me something like that?"

"Isn't it obvious," laughed Burgess, "I intend to make Straw Hat suffer alongside his brother, and since he seems to fancy you, I believe the two of us putting on a little show for them would do the trick. But don't get too excited yet, because when I'm done with my vengeance I'll be taking you as my woman. Always wanted to marry a princess, WIIIHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"No, no you can't," said Komane breathlessly, finding it harder and harder to think as her chest began to hurt even more. The Blackbeard Pirate just kept on laughing and even after he exited the cell she could still hear her his laughter echoing down the hallway. 'Luffy,' she thought, 'please be careful.'

Morning: Foodvalten

"I can see it," announced Usopp from atop the Sunny's crow's nest as he peered through a small telescope, "that's got to be Foodvalten right there!" Everyone, sans Franky, gathered near the railing of the ship to get a better look. It was one of the more interestingly shaped islands in that it was made up of what appeared to be tall cliffs that formed an almost closed crescent shape that left a fair-sized hole in the middle. Characterizing the tall stone structures were numerous trees and plants, some of which rose higher than others, like the palm trees.

This meant they'd be dealing with numerous forested areas in some places and rocky terrain in others. The best thing for the devil fruit users to do, as discussed, would be to try fighting on the flatter parts of the island where it was less likely they'd get knocked into the sea. "Is there any sign of Komane?!" Luffy yelled back up towards Usopp.

"I'm not seeing anything that looks like…..wait a minute, I think I see something over there," said the Straw Hat's Sniper, "Franky, bring us around to the Northwest side of the island." The cyborg did as he was asked and steered the ship along, one hand tensed and ready to hit any number of the Sunny's switches should trouble rear its head. "There, on the highest cliff, I see some kind fortress or base on top. There also seems to be, holy crap, INCOMING!" His warning came just in time to alert everyone to the presence of a massive boulder, easily a third the Sunny's size, being flung towards the ship.

"Hang on!" Exclaimed Franky as he hit the switch for the Sunny's Coup De Burst. The ship blasted away from its location, landing nearly a kilometer away as the boulder hit the water with a tremendous splash.

"I think they know we're here!" Exclaimed Sanji as Franky worked to turn the ship back towards their destination.

"That's fine," said Luffy with determination in his eyes before stretching his arm out and seizing the mast. He quickly reeled himself up onto the top next to the crow's nest as yet another boulder was flung towards them. "Third Gear," said Luffy as he expanded the size of his fist to that of a giant's, "EAT THIS! GUM GUM GIANT PISTOL!" He threw an impressively powerful punch against the massive boulder, shattering it into practical dust which rained out over the water.

"I guess now's as good a time to enact a plan as any," said Nami, "Franky, get us to the island as fast as you can!"

"You got it," yelled the Cyborg in excitement as he hit the Coup De Burst again, rocketing them out of the way of even more rocks before landing near the island.

"I'll see you guys at the base," said Luffy as he stretched his arm up to the nearest cliff, "try not to take too long!" He shot upwards then, easily ascending the cliff with his momentum.

"He's certainly eager today," noted Robin, "this Princess Komane must mean a lot to him."

"Well she doesn't look half bad," admitted Sanji, "maybe our captain finally got his heart stolen."

"What doesn't look half bad to you after being on that island of crossdressers," commented Zoro.

"Kiss my ass moss head!" Exclaimed Sanji, nearly dropping the cigarette from his mouth.

"Just callin' it like I see it ya shitty cook!" Zoro shot back before the two wound up engaging in another fight.

"You guys know we're supposed to be fighting the bad guys, right?" Asked Chopper, wondering if they were taking this seriously.

"Then they should start doing that right now!" Usopp called down from the crow's nest, "because we got a ship coming right at us from the island!" The Straw Hat pirates turned their attention to the new arrival just in time to see it fire off a cannon blast. This time it was deflected by a swing of Nami's Clima-tact which blasted it off course with a powerful gust of wind.

"Guess we know who Burgess decided to send against us now," said the Navigator as she recognized the ship approaching them. It was a strange ship in that it was fashioned to look like a straw or voodoo doll with its underside resembling said straw while the top looked closer to an ordinary ship. Its figurehead was that of a round straw doll's face along with other similar heads adorning the rest of the ship. The black mast of the ship had a jolly roger which was characterized with a black templar cross with two crossed nails in front and a depiction of the ship's captain in voodoo form.

Nami recalled the ship's name being the Grudge Dolph along with the name of its captain who was currently looking out from atop the roof of his cabin: Basil Hawkins. "The readings of the future are quite interesting right now," said the blond-haired captain as he spied the Sunny while flipping through his tarot cards, "perhaps the Straw Hats will meet their match today." Whatever the outcome of the fight, one thing was for certain. A meeting was about to take place that would alter the course of at least one Straw Hat Pirate's life for all time.

"HEEEEEEEYYYY!" Yelled Luffy as he landed in front of the stone base that Burgess was supposedly inhabiting, "you wanted me so here I am! Come out and fight already!" A loud laugh answered his challenge as the doors slowly swung open.

"You came just like I thought you would," said Burgess as he walked out with an evil smile on his face, "that's good." He held up his right arm then, grasping a chain that led down to a pair of handcuffs that was holding Komane. Her feet were also bound and she looked barely conscious. Even so, she raised her head up just enough to see what was going on.

"Luffy," she said weakly, "you really….came for me." She would've said more but was interrupted by more laughing from Burgess.

"Indeed he has," said the Blackbeard Pirate as he practically tossed her to the ground, "and it'll turn out to be the best decision he's ever made in my life. So whaddya say, Straw Hat?! We duke it out right here and now and if you win, this little Princess goes free. But if you lose, I not only get a new prisoner but a new woman as well! WIIIHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"All I gotta do is beat you, huh," said Luffy as he raised his hand and fist in a fighting stance, "that's fine by me. SO BRING IT ON!" The two pirates charged forward then and clashed with a force that seemed to shake the whole section of the island they were on. The battle had begun.

And once again Luffy is fighting fiercely to save a princess from an especially evil pirate! Can he and his crew overcome Burgess and Basil Hawkins to rescue Komane? Guess we'll find out next chapter. In the meantime, feel free to leave a comment or review about what you liked/disliked or if you've got any neat ideas for future chapters. Be sure to stop in next time as our heroes battle some adversaries from their past. And do check out my book, Plains Riders, on Amazon Kindle and Kindle Unlimited! 'Til then.
