The next day, I watched Hiccup train with the other vikings since I don't feel like hurting a dragon and Gobber said that it's alright for me to watch him. He also told me that I should encourage Hiccup.
Hiccup then tried to talk to Gobber about the night fury. I shook my head. Hiccup should focus. Well he is trying the best he can. This is gonna be a long long time for him to get this over with. Then I saw Astrid and she got an ax stuck to the shield Hiccup was using.
She then hit the dragon with the ax, I started to feel sorry for the dragon. I then heard Astrid telling Hiccup to figure out which side he's on. I got mad at her.
After their training, I glared at her and the others, but not Hiccup. I can't believe that she would do this. After she asked what is wrong I said, "You and the others should be ashamed of yourselves. A group of teens like you, hurting a young teen's feelings. Suppose you had been born different and had an overprotective father and a father's friend who would protect you and you never felt like you would fit in. How would you like it if it happens to you? And why? I ask you, why? Just because Hiccup was born different, you treat him like an outcast, a freak. The laughing stock in the whole world. He never knew his mother because she was taken when he was a baby. And on top of that, he never had any real friends, he never had any friends who like him for who he is."
While I talked, the others started to feel sorry what happened with Hiccup. I then finished by saying, "Oh forget it, you're like a bunch of bullies."
Both Gobber and Hiccup were surprised at what I said. Hiccup then said, "Dawn, that was both incredible and amazing. No one stood up for me before." I smiled and said, "Well I'm the first one." Gobber was the most surprised of all and he said, "Wait till the chief hears about this."
I got shocked when he said it and Hiccup said that I'm not going to stay at his house when he is back. Hiccup added that he's going to help me find a way to get back home. That surprised me. Just a bit.
Not a whole lot though. I then said to Hiccup, "I'm going to check on the Night fury, you can stay and be a trainer to become a better hero if you want." Hiccup then said to me, "Oh no Dawn, I'll go with you. I have to feed the dragon with fish." I nodded and said, "Ok, meet me in the clearance that lead to the woods."
Hiccup nodded and went to get some food. I was ahead of him with some more fish. Just in case the dragon wants some more. Hiccup met up with me with one fish. I looked at him confused and said, "Really? Just a fish and a shield?" Hiccup nervously smiled and said, "Well I have to defend myself somehow. In case the dragon strikes me."
I then said, "Ok, let's go." Then we were on our way. We then made it back to the valley where I met Hiccup before and where my newfound dragon friend was there. I hope it's still there.
