"Dear Matt, I Love You" This is based on the song "Baby, I Love You" (Written by Phil Spector, Jeff Barry, and Ellie Greenwich; Sung by the Ronettes) No plagiarism intended. Kitty writes a love letter to Matt.

Dear Matt,

Have I ever told you how good it feels to hold you? It isn't easy to explain, but I'll try. When I have my arms around you, I am filled with this indescribable joy. It's a feeling that I never want to lose. And though I try my best not to, sometimes I want to cry because of the happiness I feel when you are in my arms. I hate it when you leave my arms, because my heart can't wait another day to hold you. I want my arms around you as much as I possibly can.

Now, let's talk about those kisses you give me. I swear they set my soul on fire. It doesn't matter if it's one of your sweet kisses that touch my lips or one of your passionate kisses that touch my lips both will set my soul on fire. I absolutely love the feeling of your luscious lips on mine. I can never get enough of the taste of you. When you kiss me I've just got to say, Matt, I love you.

Matt, I love only you. I hope that you know that. I have never and will never love another man the way that I love you. I thought I had been in love before, but now I realize it wasn't love. I'm really not sure what it was. Was it admiration? It's possible. Was it a crush? That's another possibility. Maybe it was a crush more than admiration. Whatever I felt for other men in the past was definitely not love.

I can't live without you or your love. I know you have said that I was cursed with falling in love with a lawman, but I don't feel that way. Loving you is not a curse. Loving you is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love everything about you, even that badge of yours. That may be hard to believe, especially since I do complain about it here and there. I can't help it if I feel this way.

Did I tell you that I'm so glad I found you? I didn't even realize I was looking for a man like you, when you came into my life. When I saw you in the cafe the first morning I was in Dodge, I knew my life had changed at that moment. I remember praying that you weren't married with a bunch of kids, that you were available. I wasn't sure how I was going to manage it, but I just had to meet you and get to know you. Sitting in the cafe, watching you eat breakfast, I was hoping that someday you would tell me you feel the same about me.

Matt, I love to hear you call my name when we make love. There's something about the way you say it when you reach your climax. The way you cry out my name is like music to my ears. I know that no one else will ever hear you say my name that way, and that makes me feel very special. It's for me and me alone. It's like when I cry out your name when you've brought me to my climax, it's for you and you alone.

I'm going to end this letter now. After reading this, I hope you know how I feel about you and how much I love you.

Forever yours,

Kathleen "Kitty" Russell

Kitty took the letter and put it in an envelope, sealing it. She placed the envelope on top of her chest of drawers. She would give it to Matt in the privacy of her room. She didn't dare mail it, in fear of it accidentally getting in the wrong hands. She didn't dare give it to him at the jail for the same reason. This was something that needed to be given in a private place.

When Kitty heard Matt's heavy footsteps coming up the backstairs, she quickly got into bed. She leaned back against the pillows and waited for Matt to unlock the door and come inside. She heard the key enter the doorknob and saw the doorknob turn. A mere second later Matt walked inside. The sight before him took his breath away.

"Welcome back, Cowboy," Kitty's sultry voice said. "I've been waiting for you."

Kitty was wearing nothing but one of Matt's shirts. It was completely unbuttoned. All Matt could do was look at her and stare. Once in a while he would lick his lips. He was totally mesmerized by what he was seeing. Matt loved seeing Kitty in her lacy nightgowns, but seeing her in one of his shirts gave him this feeling of possessiveness. Kitty Russell was his girl and no other man would change that.

"Nice shirt," said Matt. "Where did you get it?' He was now teasing her and she knew it.

"I stole it from the Marshal," she answered.

"You just admitted that you committed a crime. Maybe I should arrest you," Matt said as he joined Kitty on the bed. By this time he had removed his boots, gunbelt, and hat.

"Will you have to frisk me?" asked Kitty, hoping for a yes.

"More than likely," answered Matt.

"Well, before you do. Can I make a request?" asked Kitty.

"I suppose you can," said Matt.

Kitty then handed him the letter. "Here, read this."

Matt wasn't expecting that. Their little game was leading to foreplay, which he hoped would lead into lovemaking. However, he told her she could make a request, so he took the envelope, opened it up, and began to read the letter. Kitty watched Matt's face as he read the letter. When he finished, Matt had tears in his eyes.

"Kitty, what you wrote in that letter echoes the way I feel about you," Matt said with so much love in his voice. "I didn't know what love was until you came into my life. I thank God every day that you did come into my life. I love to hold you in my arms and I love it when you wrap your arms around me. Now, about the way I say your name. How about you let me make sweet love to you, so you can hear me cry out your name and I can hear you cry out mine?"

"Is that my punishment for the crime I committed?" Matt shook his head yes. "In that case, you probably should begin frisking me and see where it goes from there."

After putting the letter on the nightstand, Matt began frisking Kitty. It didn't take long for both of them to be without their clothing and pleasing one another with their bodies. It was a slow and sensual lovemaking session. They weren't going to rush anything tonight. When that moment came, they both cried out each other's name with passion, desire, and love.

The End
