Intermission succeeds an hour and a half later, allowing the kids and parents to rush back to their seats with grumbling stomachs and endless conversations. The birthday twins had pulled Freddy off the stage to take pictures via a specialistic camera that won't malfunction any of their systems. Unfortunately, it leaves Roxy and Monty on stage with Chica and into a series of instigations. "So, care to explain why you ended up being so late?" Roxy asked, not out of concern but of intriguing and a hint of annoyance.

"No. Not really." Chica's eyes remain absently on the ground.

"Aye! Birdie!" Monty snatches her guitar, receiving a glare. "Ya really almost missed the show of the year because of stuffing pizza slices up yer beak!"

"I did not!" She pulled the three feathers on top of her head in frustration.

"Then why do you have a red spot on the side of your cheek?" Roxy asks, pressing her finger against the area and lifting it into view. "Either that's blood, oil, or..." she sniffs. "The pizza sauce from Ralphie's Pizzeria."

"For the last time, I didn't eat a slice! Both of you could piss off!" She shouts with her fists clenching and shaking, ready to fight them with fury in her eyes.

"Are you really going to fight us over food? That's pathetic, Chica."

"Because I'm tired of you two harassing me!"

Monty scoffs. "So, do something 'bout it, like you could fight the two of us. Ya barely could lift an ice cube."

"That is enough, Roxy and Monty." Freddy's voice intercedes the conversations. He stands next to Chica, frowning at the gator and wolf before him. "You have both made your point. Now leave it alone. It is not important anymore. Chica is here, and she has helped put together a wonderful show."

His hand on her shoulder makes her smile. Roxy rolled her eyes, and Monty mumbled that Freddy didn't care to interpret underneath his breath. Or maybe he had not had the chance to respond to an exhausted Vanessa with a smile.

"You guys rocked it tonight." She commends. "Just a few more songs after intermission, and it will be over and done with. In the meantime, the birthday buddies are requesting your presence."

"And why wouldn't they!? Who can resist me?" Roxy grins and wastes no time overlooking a table where kids shower her with compliments. Monty follows suit, grumbling about something incoherent. Vanessa gasps as she looks to another scene. "Gregory! Do not put that on your head! Sun! What did I say about...?!" Her voice fades amongst the crowd of laughter as she rushes to stop the Daycare Attendant from whatever he thought he could get away with.

"Thanks, Freddy," Chica had said, but her angriness wasn't wearing down. She struggles to undo her fists, wanting to collide metal with metal. Thoughts of punching Monty with enough force to make his jaws shift sideways, Pulling Roxy's hair out to the point where she had bald spots and would cry. The thoughts made Chica laugh. They were pleasing and terrifying yet welcoming. Why did she think of trying to hurt her bandmates?

"Do not pay any attention to Monty and Roxy. They meant well and were probably doing it out of concern."

"They sure have a way of expressing their 'concerns.'" She exasperates.

Freddy still had his hand on her shoulder. He wanted to know what had happened to cause her to disappear and nearly miss the show. She couldn't tell him where she ended up because she didn't know where she was. She recalls standing in the kitchen, sniffing an empty sauce can and relishing in the aroma as a pie was being made. She also recalled fantasizing about being a human and eating her favorite food. The next thing she knew, she was lying on the basement floor, cuddling the empty can. It had freaked her out that running to Parts and Services had helped that moment elude her memory.

"Hey, Freddy! Be our referee for a mini playback?" The birthday boy asked, chucking a football between his palms.

Chica nudges Freddy with a chuckle. "Be sure to pay attention, so you don't get hit in the face." She jokes, giggling at Freddy's bewildered expression before getting whisked away by a group of young boys. Chica remains in front of the stage's stairs, watching dozens of children devour their slices of pizza. She doesn't move, concluding that it's the same pizza recipe they have been using for years. She'd already gotten a whiff to withstand temptation and gave a nod of assurance towards Freddy when they did have a moment of brief eye contact.

"Chica! Chica!" The birthday girl runs up to her, grinning widely.

"Hey, there, birthday girl!"

"You did awesome tonight! That preshow mojo worked!"

"Preshow? What are you –" The girl pointed to Gregory, and Chica let out a sigh of relief, knowing that he had done so when she had disappeared. She makes a note to have to thank him later. "I made this for you!" The girl presents a yarn-material doll with a pizza for a head and olives for the eyes.

"Jaylene, this is beautiful!" She admires the handiwork, impressed by the skills too good to be done by a child who is only in elementary. She wanted to take it somewhere out of anyone's reach. Maybe Freddy could store it in his stomach compartment for the time being. She glances at her friend, keeping track of the mini-game happening. Perhaps she should wait so she doesn't cause Freddy any distractions. Instead, she holds on to each word of the one-way conversation.

Suddenly she's twitching. She heard Jaylene asking if she was okay, but she couldn't respond. Something is wrong. A low growl emits before her vision darkens from every corner.

"I told you that you'll enjoy tonight's specialty." Gabe gloats at numerous requests for seconds or thirds slices. The servos robots work overtime to satisfy the demands. Meanwhile, the CEO butters up to the celebrity as the father posts picture after picture on his social handles.

"Yes, you have, although I'm sure the standard pizza would have done. After all, it's not me you have to impress." He beams at his children having the time of their lives with friends.

"Of course, I had my personal chef prepare a special pizza recipe for tonight." Gabriel brags. "Nothing but the finest premium ingredients of all Italy and a secret sauce."

"As long there isn't any vodka in there." The two men shared a laugh, adding to the atmosphere of an event going swell. People were engaging in conversations, munching away at the slices. One of the adults comments a massive change from the pizza he ate years prior. Children laugh at Sun's failing magic show, with Gregory displaying complete terror.

Suddenly, a terrifying scream is heard. Chica leaps into a table, breaking it into pieces and smothering her beak into the wood material. "Pizza!" Chica's screaming before her beak emits a screeching noise, stunning all the robots, including her bandmates. She hops up and chases the child up the Atrium before diverting to another off the side. Screams for their parents' roses with the adults terrified at the state of affairs.

Sun drops in front of her to stop the pursuit of another child. She grabs him, licking her lips. "Pizza," she said and bit his head repeatedly.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Not good, not good! I am your friend, not food!"

"Chica!" Gregory tried pulling Sun from her mouth while trying to talk sense into her. "Chica, stop!" He pleads, despite her resuming her chase and him being dragged across the floor. Vanessa catches up and hops onto Chica's back, desperately trying to maneuver and open the robot's port. A growl shocks Vanessa. Since when do chickens growl like deprived monsters? The surprise was short-lived as Chica grabbed and flung her over and into a table. A popping noise releases from her shoulder, clutching it in pain.

Chica stops again and begins to twitch, slowly moving into rapid speed. At the last twitch, her eyes redden, and she screamed with a different, deeper voice. "Pizza! Pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, pizza, PIZZA! PIZZA! PIZZA!" Standing in one place, the upper half of her body spins, spinning Gregory and Sun with the motion, prompting both of them to yell.

"Have you lost your freaking mind!" Monty snaps, grabbing ahold of one arm, Roxy the other.

"Chica, snap out of it!" Roxy exclaims. Freddy rushes to pry Gregory and Sun from Chica's strangely tight grasp. She lets out another growing scream, "Pizza!" and her newfound strength flings Monty to the wall, causing a new wave of screams as people scramble out of the way to avoid being crushed by the animatronic. Chica then grabs Roxy, lifting her high in the arm before hurdling her to another end. Then she slams Sun into Freddy, the impact making them fall into a table. Lastly, she throws Gregory toward Vanessa, scrambling to catch him and throwing them onto the floor.

"Chica, please!" Jaylene cries. Her father calls for her to avoid the animatronic with futile effort. "Chica, please, we're your friends. Stop hurting your friends!" Chica turns, eyes locked on the child. she growls at the pizza doll in the child's hands. "Pizza!" Jaylene screams and runs, Chica hot on her tail while growling, "Give me my pizza!"

"Daddy! Help me, help me!" A couple of brave adults dive in to tackle the animatronic, only to have themselves thrown everywhere. Chica continues her chase, stopping to peck at an empty plate and cup before screeching in frustration and pursuing her hunt.

"Chica, you ceased this instant!" Gabriel yells, running in front of the robot. He's hit by Chica's shoulder, flying into a table and a stack of sodas cans spilling onto him. In the midst of this, Vanessa's desperately searching for that USB. "Where is it?"

"Vanessa! Watch out!" Freddy's calls heed at the moment, Chica's mindlessly and randomly diving into tables and chairs. Vanessa dodges the immediate hit, and the action reveals the device on the floor amongst the spilled sodas. No.

Security bots were now active in the sense of an actual emergency, grabbing all adults and children within sight and rolling out the Atrium. Except for poor Jaylene, the chicken was still desperately trying to bite her head off. Any attempts to rescue the girl have already led to three destroyed security bots.

Vanessa grabbed the USB; the anxiety levels were pushing her to the point of a breakdown. She rushes to Chica, yelling at the other three to help her hold Chica down for one last time. On the other end of the Atrium, Jaylene falls headfirst into a corner, screaming as she sees the robot closing the distance.

Freddy runs at Chica from the side, gaining a precise distance and holding her down. Monty and Roxy rejoin him to assist in pinning her down. Vanessa reaches them, quickly opening a port and sticking the drive into it. Chica flings all of them off her and darts towards the child before she twitches mid-run and falls, shutting down inches from Jaylene's face.
