It wasn't uncommon for them to go from world to world given that they had to leave their own for such a long time. Thankfully, they managed to find that home and restore it to its former glory. Yet despite all that they left it once again, only now it was for a much different reason. One far less threatening than it was all those years ago.

Looking up and around Leon could tell one thing; this world was certainly different from Radiant Garden. Gazing up, he hid his shock well, almost as if his features were rigidly held in place themselves. Strange, even for him. He looked to the wall nearest to them, to follow it up find only to find that it wasn't a wall at all and that they were dwarfed by a...nearby counter top?

Yes it was just that and it was as larger than a house was back home. But it was more than that as there was also the shelves and all their contents along with just about everything else. Each one looked like it could hold both of them with room to spare, yet it was filled to the brim no matter where he looked. Silently he mused on what this could mean for them going forward now that they were here. Yuffie however was much more vocal about their predicament.

"WOW!" she shouted out and it echoed out throughout the halls and off the counter and down the aisles which housed toys from large and bulky to small and fluffy.

The duo's eyes scanned from side to side taking all the location had to offer. It looked like a toy store built for giants. Aisles stuffed with toys flanked them on all sides and they hardly reached up to the lowest shelf closest to the ground. Lights blared off the walls and large arrows that read 'Video Games' pointing one way and another the opposite way said 'Action Figures'. And they certainly didn't let you forget the stores name. 'Galaxy Toys' was just as numerous as everything it held. The size of the lettering was likely the size of themselves. With such a massive place like this who knows how long they'd have to wander it to get where they needed to be. Or if anyone else would be here too. Of course, he was the only one who seemed to think these through.

He had expected the size of it to be the only large difference, but when he rolled his shoulders he didn't hear a distinct grind of bones, but a crinkle of plastic.

"Hm?" Leon let out before looking down at himself. He felt his face was rigid- more so than usual, as if stuck in place. He saw his boots and his pants which seemed more streamlined and pressed that usual; solid and staying in place as if they wouldn't sway or move with the wind. He lifted his left one up and it moved with rigid precision and the accompanying crack of the plastic that his shoulders just produced. He tapped his shin, but felt only his pant leg, solid and unmoving. Lowering it, he brought a hand up to touch his forehead, but found it's texture to be hard and unflinching. Running a hand through his hair, he found he had no hair to run through his blocky fingers since they like everything else felt artificial and kept in place. Looking around and seeing what this world was filled with, he was about to come to some conclusion, but some one else voiced it for him.

"We're the size of toys!" Yuffie shouted up to him as if it wasn't already obvious. Looking down, he saw her looking up to him. Her figure was blocky now and glossed over as light seemed to reflect off of it differently than it normally would. She looked him up and down coming to another obvious conclusion "You are a toy!" she pointed up to him. He seemed undeterred by that as he dropped his hand from his head, having determined it already. Now all of the pieces were starting to fall into place. To retain the world order, he had been turned into a toy. But he wasn't the only one.

"Speak for yourself." he said blandly and pointed to her. Self consciously Yuffie looked down to herself bringing her arms up to shoulder height as her head hung down over body.

She then brought up her right leg high to see it held together by a noticeable ball and socket at her knee which was more than visible and with a wide range of rotation as she swung it around in a complete circle. The balls and sockets of their joints now literally so moved appropriately, more the grinding of gears in a cog than the cracking of bones and muscle.

"Cool!" she said stamping it back down.

"Hmph." he let out gruffly as he crossed his arms now, his flat shirt sleeves sliding unnaturally against each other.

"It suits you, I think." she said leaning in to get a better look at him and his new angular frame as opposed to her rounded edges "You're face looks the same." she said mischievously, noticing his lack of expressions "And you always were hard headed." she said as she raised a balled fist to now tap her own circular dome. Knocking once produced a hard hollow ring that rattled her head and she winced dropping her hand instead to cradle her writhing head.

"You too." Leon said as she perked back up to him under her interlocked hands atop her head to try to remedy the pain "You always were an airhead."

She let out a grumble, but couldn't keep it for long when a small hint of a smile cracked on his face to alleviate the pain more than she could. Standing back up straight, she joined in more vocally with a laugh. When that died down, they each turned their heads side to side and then up and down taking in more of this massive world and what it contained. The toys remained motionless in their displays, making them wonder what kind of world this was that they were brought to. And who would call it home.

"So which way do you think it is?" she asked looking around from side to side. Back to business it seemed. They came here for a reason after all.

"How should I know?" he answered sounding more like his usual dour self as he closed his eyes "I've never been here. Let alone step in a toy store in years." Especially when he was one.

"I think it's this way." she pointed off following one of the arrows overhead that read 'Action Figures'. Before another word could be said, cautionary or otherwise Yuffie sprinted off, to a distinct sound of 'clip clop' that could only come from the winding feet of a toy being made to walk across the ground. Of course she did so now unassisted.

Watching her race off, Leon let out a tired sigh. At his own pace, he followed after her.

She left him behind quickly as he went steadily behind her. He always kept her in his sights, but a wary eye would look around to see what else was here. But all he saw all around them in every story and every aisle was just more and more toys. Which would bode well for them. The store was closed now and since nothing seemed to be living in this world they shouldn't run into any trouble.

But he refused to let his guard down. That's how they lost their world the first time.

Yuffie made a few abrupt turns around counters, running along the floor as if it were the street back home. He ran the risk of drifting off at one point, but luckily for him she called out.

"LOOK!" he heard her shout excitedly ahead of him. He brought his head up to see her standing beneath a wall that housed rows upon rows of action figures. "I found them!" she hopped and waved back to him; one arm in the air to wave as the other hand was by her mouth to help propel her voice for him to hear. Though he heard it, he made no acknowledgement beside taking some steps forward from where he had stopped. Looking at it himself their journey had come to an end. They had found what they came here for.

Yuffie then hopped into the air and turned 180 degrees back to facing the action figures. They were the same size as them, almost as if they had popped out of the packages and off the wall themselves to come to life. Each one seeming to perk her interest, likely due to the bright colors of the box but also more likely due to whose likeness it contained as that was evident by the clear packaging and the bold lettering of a name. Each action figure inside was a toy sized verison of someone they knew and if they were lucky even ones of themselves. Cloud, Tifa, Cid, Aerith, they were there along with many more. The action figures looked like them, but with tiny variations for some reason, but it was still distinctly them. When they were first told of a place like this they couldn't believe it. Yet here they were.

Yuffie bobbed from side to side and up and down on her tows to get a better view and angle as Leon trudged towards her from behind. Her next outburst again stopped him in his tracks.

"They have one of you." she said, holding up a package for him to see as plain as day. "It says Squall!" she said even louder. Leon let out a sigh when he saw it, unsure how he did if he was a toy, but it came out, nonetheless. "Everyone at home is going to love these!" she said as she hopped back to look for more of everyone else. Seeing as how they were already toys, how little sense it made to try to find others that mimicked them, but that didn't make it any weirder. That was what he left off on when he dropped his head. When he looked back, he saw something else.

There was Yuffie still ogling the toys; his had already been discarded on the floor as she aggressively tried to find her own among the many others. But there was something else now. A small red dot that moved on it's own.

Traversing it started on the ground over his discarded Squall toy before coming upwards, slowing down as it got closer to Yuffie and steadying on her as if targeting her. Stopping as it positioned itself right on the back of her head; the bright red easy to spot against her dark black mop even as he was so far away. She was too busy filing through the toys, discarding more on the ground as she buried herself deeper into the rack on the wall that there was no way she would notice this red dot.

But it alarmed Leon greatly.

He lunged forward and stretched out his hand in alarm. He looked up to try and trace the source of the laser. Turning his head upwards he just saw more counters and shelves and toys. And the higher his head went the darker it got and the more obstructed his view was. Then he saw it.

Up high on one of the counters, but partly hidden in the shadows was a lone figure, it's arm outstretched and barley noticeable if not for a bright light that was pointed down at her. The other arm seemed to brace it up as it head was looking down it as if it was the sights of a rifle. They had not gone unnoticed after all. Whatever beings called this world home, it seems they were about to find out.

Yuffie finally turned back to him, more excited than before as she held up a toy in its package identical to her. The red dot not placed onto her forehead "Mine says Great Ninj-

Leon snapped back to her "-Yuffie!" he shouted. Her excitement was cut short when she saw him charging towards her.

He reached for his Gunblade, unsheathing it to not the distinct sound of metal, but to the scrape of plastic. It did not deter him as he wasted no time to run to her, but suddenly heard a whizzing sound accompanied by a voice coming from his left side.

'There's a snake in my boot!' it said.

He hardly had time to register that or what it meant as the whirling became louder and nearer as something was flung through the air catching him from his left side, spiraled around his arms latching them together. Taking additional spins around his wrist, bringing them together tighter than before and giving him less control in the process.

"Leon!" Yuffie shouted and ran towards him. Right as she did there was a high piercing 'ping' was let out a small explosion from behind her propelled her off the counter and onto the floor. Landing on her hands and knees she looked back to see the casing she just held in her overstretched arms incinerated in fire.

"Hey!" she got up and stamped her foot.

Leon's arms were caught in a bind and flung away from him, from a sudden strong tug of what bound them together. He saw the thin line twirl, unravel and slink away from him as his body went for a spiraling in the air in the aftermath of the pull of the line. He made a loop and a half in the air as his feet were picked up off the ground. But halfway through the next spin, he planted them hard on the ground to stop the whirling. One landed correctly while the other ended up skidding but it held him up and was aided when he slammed his left hand down to brace himself as the other grabbed his Gunblade from mid air.

He looked ahead of him to the sound of a whizzing sound. One that sounded like came from the reeling of a fishing line. Ahead he saw the source of the sound as the line that had just unraveled around him was being drawn back. As it retracted before him, he followed it seeing it return to the possession of what was distinctly a cowboy; his features softer than Yuffie or his had been, but he was indistinguishable from the rest of this world, aside from the fact that like them, he was moving; a toy come to life. So that was what this world held.

Leon stood himself up as Yuffie came to his side. But between the three of them, a fourth voice would be the first to speak.

"Nice shooting cowboy!" a deeper voice said as he came from above. Looking up they saw emerging from the shadows of the high countertop was a white and green ball of a figure who came flying down towards them with two wings protruding from his back. He came down with ease as his wings snapped away into his back as he stood up to his full height and a round head taking his place beside the cowboy, looking bulkier than him if not a bit shorter. He could have easily have dropped from the moon if not the counter. This space ranger looked distinctly at odds with the cowboy, yet the two seemed an inseparable pair.

"Oh it was you who did the shooting Buzz." the cowboy said politely as he twirled the string in one hand like a lasso.

"Hm." Buzz looked over to him "I guess you're right Woody." the space ranger let out with a complimentary grin, but then he turned serious again "Now lets get to the bottom of this." he said as he and the cowboy went back to eyeing the two of them suspiciously.

"He's got a string!" Yuffie pointed to Woody as he wound it back up around and held the length of the string in one arm as the other held its circular end. The cowboy gave a self conscious glance down to it before looking to Buzz who mimicked him. "Do you have one?!" she said before disappearing behind Leon to search for something, that as far as he knew wasn't there. She seemed more concerned with that than the laser, who these two were and what they wanted.

He shrugged her off and took a step towards them, but one was all he would get and it was already too much.

"Not another step!" Buzz warned as he shot his right arm out; the forearm of which emitted a small red light which was pointed right at Leon's feet. "Not till we know what's going on."

"What's going on?" Leon started "Is that you two attacked us."

"Precautionary." he insisted as his laser remained pointed at him "We've had too many toys come by recently and stir up trouble. Can't take any chances." he said warily.

"I guess I understand that." Leon said sympathetically, hiding his eyes behind his plastic bangs that perpetually hung before his head "But we're not here for trouble."

"I think we'll be the judge of that." he said tensing up, pausing to look them over again "Come to think of it," he began curiously "the last few trouble makers looked just like you guys."

"Coincidence." Leon said glumly, as if he himself didn't beleive it. Buzz grumbled, ready for a retort, but Wood spoke first.

"Well.." the cowboy began his voice a bit lighter than his companions, yet he still harbored suspicions himself "What are you here for?" he asked.

Though he couldn't explain it, Leon's 'lenses' or whatever their equivalent was here rolled over to the toy aisle by their side, the very one that came all this way to find. Which hung multiple incarnations of not just them but several others they knew. Some were discarded onto the floor already by Yuffie as she tried to find her own toy, but they were all there none the less.

"Souvenirs." he said glumly. As if knowing it wouldn't make things better.

"Souvenirs?" the space ranger faltered for a moment. Confused by it. His partner, however was not.

"Your not from this world then, by the sounds of it." Woody concluded. That sudden accusation caught Leon and Yuffie by surprise. More so by the fact he was right.

'How does he know?' Leon thought.

"How'd ya know?" Yuffie perked up on her tippy toes and leaned towards them.

"Good thinking Woody!" Buzz balled his fist and looked to him "That all but confirms it." he said turning back to them with his mind made up. He braced his body and leaned forward, ready to take another step towards action.

"Yeah." Woody stepped up with him, holding his wire tighter "They're meddling." The two stepped up more menacing than ever. Leon didn't want it to come to this, but felt they had no other choice. Looking down he saw Yuffie crouched next to him with her throwing star in her hand. Seems there was nothing to get them out of this, not with every one geared up for it now. Leon turned back to the two toys on the other side of the aisle. He reached behind his back and wrapped his hands around a firm handle. It didn't have the same feel as it usually did, but it had the right shape and he knew it no matter what world he was in.

"Have it your way." he said as he rested his Gunblade on his shoulder.
