Happy Sunday! Thank you for all your thoughts and comments and for hanging in there with this story! I love hearing your thoughts. Love Ya'll.
Christina pulls her hair up and undoes her bathrobe to crawl into bed. The hot shower she had taken did wonders for her sore muscles. It was close to midnight, they spent 12 hours at the site and then another few hours around the part of the hospital that was still operational waiting to hear news about Tris and Tobias.
She smiled softly at Uriah who was fast asleep in bed already. She knew he was just as exhausted as she was. He looked so handsome sleeping. Even though it had been one of the most challenging days of her life, she was happy and content to be able to curl up beside him. She drops her bathrobe on a box next to the bed. They had only been in their new apartment a few weeks so there were still boxes to be unpacked and right now, she was too tired to care.
Today had been a literal nightmare and she never would have gotten through it without Uriah there coaching her. He didn't like to talk about his time as an Army medic but with the things they had seen but today, Christina got a dose of it shoved in her face. People with limbs blown off, people crushed by the debris, it was a lot to process. It wasn't the blood, she had been training to be a surgeon for Christ's sake, it was the amount of devastation, she'd never seen that many people hurt before. She wasn't convinced that she would be able to sleep thinking about the number of dead bodies, there had to have been at least 20 to 30. All people who'll never see their families again. After Tris and Tobias were found it was a small weight off her shoulders despite all the lives that had been lost. Caleb had made her go home to get some sleep promising to call her if anything happened.
She slides into bed next to Uriah dropping a kiss on his cheek and then drifting off to sleep. Christina isn't sure what time it is or how long she's been asleep when she feels Uriah thrashing in his sleep.
"Baby, wake up, you're having a bad dream" She coaxes him barely awake her voice heavy with sleep, and sees the sweat on his forehead.
"Uriah, wake up," she says again forcefully. She is surprised when he shoots up, his arms flailing in the air, and it knocks her back when his arm collides with her face.
"What the hell Uri" Christina winces as she touches her nose, and her eyes tear up a little bit from the contact of Uriah's arm smacking her in the face.
"Get down, get down" He yells right before he jumps out of the bed and onto the floor when he scoots into the corner of the room scrunching himself up into a ball.
Uriah hears the rapid fire of AR 15s and the sound of missiles. It felt hot, just like it did in Afghanistan. He knows there are wounded soldiers on the field, but he had to take cover until it stopped. Then he could help them.
Christina moves very slowly realizing that Uriah was having a PTSD attack. She was cursing herself internally for not thinking that the bombing would be triggering for him. He had nightmares sometimes, but he never wanted to talk about what they were about. He didn't like fireworks; she remembers how he excused himself on the 4th of July and was listening to music with his headphones on while everyone shot off firecrackers outside of Hana's house.
"Uriah, Baby, can you hear me, it's Christina," she says softly crouching down in front of him. It broke her heart to see him like this, but she tried to remain as calm as possible.
Uriah covers his ears, as another missile goes off and he sees a Humvee take the hit, flying in the air as the flames consume the vehicle. It crashes to the ground, and he can hear the screaming of the men being burned alive by the flames. He's confused when he hears Christina, why was she there? She shouldn't be there with his unit.
"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you, I just need you to focus on me, can you do that for me?" Christina tries to keep her voice calm and soothing, scooting a little closer to him. She had seen her fair share of patients experiencing a mental health episode on shift, she figured the same principles should apply here.
"Chris? It's not safe…you shouldn't be here," Uriah tells her still confused that she was crouched in front of him with no tactical gear on in the middle of all the chaos.
Christina takes in a deep slow breath. She could do this.
"Breathe with me, focus on me and the sound of my voice," Christina emphasizes her breaths through the nostril wanting him to breathe deep to take him out of the hallucination he was in.
"My unit, people are injured, I just need the screaming to stop, just for a minute, then I can help them," Uriah scrunches his eyes closed tight rocking back and forth.
"It's just you and me, everything is okay, you're safe, I'm safe, just stay with me" Christina gently takes his hand and puts it over her heart. "That's it, can you feel my heartbeat? Breathe with me, nice and slow."
He does just that and feels the steady rhythm of Christina's breathing against his hand. Uriah blinks and looks around realizing he was in his and Christina's bedroom, and suddenly everything feels overwhelming. He falls into her arms and starts to sob.
"I got you, we're okay, I got you" she whispers as she holds him close to her as her own tears fall. "No matter what I got you"
"Ustedes dos están en un gran problema (You two are in big trouble)" Marlene whispers to Caleb and Tris as she helps Nita set the table in Tris' apartment for dinner.
"¿Cómo no me cuentas todo esto? (How could you not tell me this?)" Natalie exclaims as she throws her hands up and paces, grabbing the small gold crucifix she wore around her neck and rubbing it. It was a habit she did when she was worried about something.
Tris throws her head back on the couch. She had been discharged from the hospital that afternoon and Natalie overheard folks from 51 discussing the bombing by an arsonist who had been targeting them in the waiting room while coming to visit Tris and Tobias. Caleb had to confess everything about his apartment being torched which sent Natalie into a frenzy. She had already been fussing for 30 minutes as Marlene helped her prepare dinner.
"Te dije que deberíamos haber dicho algo (I told you we should have said something)" Caleb whispers and Marlene shakes her head as she looks at the two siblings as she places the forks down.
Christina, Uriah, and Nita were all joining them for dinner since Natalie was staying with Tris until she went back to the Dominican Republic.
"We're sorry, Mami, but this is why we didn't tell you; we knew you would freak out," Tris argues.
"And your own father is here, and he should be looking after you, Aye Dios Mio" Natalie continues as she stirs a pot on the stove shaking her head.
"Papi didn't know either" Caleb adds, and Natalie pinches her forehead.
"Well, I guess I will have to let Juanita and Marlene take care of you since you don't tell your mother anything" she huffs going back into the kitchen. Natalie had gushed over her soon to be daughter-in-law even though they had spoken over video chat several times. It meant so much to Caleb that Marlene fit right in with his family since he was so close to his mother and sister.
Caleb groans and Tris rolls her eyes while Marlene giggles. Nita gives a small smile but deep down she was worried about the future with her and Tris.
Tris adjusted herself on the bed. Her mother had been cooking nonstop since she had arrived home from the hospital two days ago and she felt like she was about to pop. Thankfully, the cut she had on her abdomen had dissolvable stitches and the pain was minimal.
"Nita, seriously, I'm okay," Tris chuckles as Nita fluffs her pillow for what she thought had been the 10th time since she got out of the shower. She was feeling much better, even though the soreness was still present in her body.
Nita crawls into the bed next to her snuggling into her side. It was odd. There had been a steady stream of people coming to check on Tris from the firehouse and Christina was there every day. Andrew, Jeannie, and Matthew had left not long ago. Tris knew she needed to talk to Tobias, and she really needed to talk to Nita, but she had slept most of the first few days she was home and then she barely had any time without someone there. Natalie was planning to stay until Tris went back to work, which would be at least another week if not more.
"I was so scared" Nita whispers. She could feel Tris was distant as she had been before the bombing, and she still hadn't said anything about what she was feeling. She wasn't sure if there was something going on between her and Tobias, but it wasn't the time to ask when Tris' mother was staying with her.
"I know" Tris runs her hand through her hair to comfort her.
"I love you, Tris," Nita tells her.
"I love you too" It was the truth she did love Nita, but the problem was she loved Tobias too.
Tobias opens his eyes slowly and it takes a minute to focus. The pain medication he was on had him sleeping a lot but now he was questioning how doped up they had him as he sees a giant bear moving toward him. Then he hears a chuckle, and he realizes that there was a person carrying the bear.
Tris pops her head around the gigantic bear that was as big as she was, and she had to carry it with both hands.
"Look Mr. Snuggles, he's awake" she sing songs in a baby voice causing Tobias to chuckle, and then he winces.
"Don't make me laugh" he groans.
"I'm sorry" she winces as she sits the huge stuffed bear in the chair, as looks him up and down. His color had returned, and he had some scrapes and a bruise on his face much as she did.
"Mr. Snuggles?" Tobias asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, I think he'd be up for a name change. Flowers just didn't seem like you" She grins shyly playing with the fabric of the blanket across the bed.
He looked at her, she had stitches over her right eye and scrapes on her cheek and her hair was pulled up in a curly bun. It made his heart tug because she was always so beautiful.
"How are you feeling? Uriah told us you were doing better after they were able to patch up your arm"
"I feel like a building fell on top of me" He knew he needed time, but he was going crazy in the hospital. He had argued with Uriah that he could recuperate just fine on his couch at home, but Uriah insisted he needed a few more days in the hospital.
Tris rolls her eyes with a smile happy that he had a sense of humor about the whole situation.
"I am feeling better though. You wouldn't have happened to bring me any real food, did you?" he asks, looking hopefully, causing Tris to laugh again.
"No, I did not bring you any food. I'll make you whatever you want when you get out of here." She tells him
A moment of silence passes between the two of them. "You scared the shit of me Tobias, I was worried about you" she whispers.
She inches closer to him, and she rests her hand right next to his, their fingers so close to touching. Tobias looks at her and then down at their hands. She moves her hand and grabs his hand to give it a light squeeze since he had an IV port at the top of his hand.
"How many days has it been? I feel like every time I wake up, someone new is here" Tobias asks looking around the room. There had been a steady stream of folks from 51 in to see him, but he tired out quickly when Drew, Harrison, and Fernando were there earlier.
"Three days, I was in for a day, you were in surgery and out of it when they wheeled me in to see you. My mom flew in from the Dominican Republic, so I've been under house arrest since they released me. I had to agree for Dawson to drive me to get over here, she says hello, you were asleep last time she came, she stopped off to grab Uriah on his break."
Tris had been going stir-crazy in the house with Natalie and Nita both hovering. Things had been so intense, and she still felt wound up. But all she could really think about was that she needed to see Tobias. She felt calmer now that she was near him, she would wake up in a panic that first few days wondering where he was and if he was okay.
"Has anyone told you about Mills?"
Tobias furrows his eyebrows, and his eyes go wide when Tris relays what Marlene and Christina told her about how he refused to listen and was burned as result losing his eye.
"Damn, I wouldn't have wished that on anyone," Tobias says solemnly.
"Yeah, me either, from what Vega says, he was hell-bent on not listening to Pedrad for Chief. His family is having him moved to a long-term care facility this week." Tris shivers a little and Tobias squeezes her hand as Tris goes quiet for a moment.
"Don't ever scare me like that again" she whispers. Tobias rubs his thumb over the back of her hand. He wanted to pull her down on the bed and hold her close.
Part of him remembers the explosion but his memories were a bit jumbled. The one thing he remembers is that Tris told him that she loved him. He had been ready to let go, die there in that rubble and she made him hold on. Now he wasn't sure if that was how she really felt but the look in her eyes told him she did.
"Tris, I know, we said a lot of things when we thought we were going to die…"
Tris takes a deep breath and nods her head. She knew what she needed to do. She loved him, that much she was sure of. She realized all the things she said to him were what she wanted. Her conversation with her father, still ringing in her head, she wanted to talk to him before breaking things off with Nita.
"I know and Tobias, I've done so much thinking. And I know things between us seem to get heated every time we are in a life-or-death situation… I need to tell you, I…"
"Hi honey, I'm sorry it took me so long to get here this morning, there was an accident on the freeway" Evelyn rattles off as she comes into the hospital room.
Tris jumps and quickly moves away from him, and Tobias feels his heart still racing, cursing the fact that his mother interrupted them. Tris was looking like she wanted to say something. The way she was looking at him like she was about to pour her heart out.
"Oh hello," Evelyn comments realizing someone else was in the room.
"Mom, this is Tris, she's one of the firefighters from 51"
"Oh, I'm so thankful to finally meet you. I think you just might be my son's lucky charm."
Tobias smiles as Tris looks embarrassed.
"Maybe I should start calling you that, my lucky charm," Tobias tells her, holding her gaze. "Mom, do you think Tris and I can have a moment…"
"Oh no, you need your rest, I'll come back. Hopefully, you'll be released soon, and we can talk then," Tris tells him, she didn't want to have this conversation like this, with his mother hovering.
"Tris…" Tobias protests.
"Get better, Eaton. You have more lives to save" She leans over and gives him a kiss on the cheek. She doesn't give him a peck; her lips linger there, and she cups his face smiling at him when she stands up. Tobias feels his breath hitch. She gives him that smile that he loved so much right before she walks out the door.
He was a fool, he knew it, but he loved her and as soon as he got out of this hospital bed, he was going to fight for her.
"I move out and two weeks later you end up in the hospital"
Tobias chuckles as he opens his eyes at the sound of Shauna's voice.
"You know I like to keep things interesting" she smiles at his joke as she makes her way to sit in the chair next to his hospital bed.
"When are you getting sprung?"
"Tomorrow, thank God. I can't take this hospital food anymore"
"Well, it's a good thing I brought this" Shauna whispers, pulling a brown paper bag out of her large shoulder bag and looking out the door to see if anyone was walking past.
"Al's! Damn, I love you!" Tobias whispers loudly as he takes the bag from Shauna and pulls out the Italian beef sandwich.
"You heard about Mills?" She asks, not really knowing where to start, as he nods his head, taking a big bite of the sandwich. Things had never been awkward between the two of them, but they hadn't been speaking to each other before the explosion.
Shauna looks down at her hands to gather her thoughts before she looks back up at Tobias.
"I'm sorry Tobias" she states without elaborating.
"You were just trying to look out for me" he shrugs as he takes another bite of his sandwich.
"Yeah, but you were right, I was overstepping"
Tobias sets down his half-eaten sandwich on the tray next to his bed.
"I know you don't want me to get hurt, but I can handle myself, Shauna. I love Tris and if things don't work out, I'll live but that's my choice to make. You know how my dad has pushed me to do what he wanted; I'm not going to just do what you want. Give me some credit. "
"I know… Wait…You're really in love with her?" Shauna wasn't expecting Tobias to say that. Of all the women she'd seen him go through, not once had he said he was in love with any of them. It never occurred to her that he was really going to try and make this work or that she had seen her pushing him just as Marcus did.
"Yeah, I do and I'm going to fight for her" Tobias tells her with confidence. It felt good to say it out loud and state his intentions.
Shauna nods. She didn't want to fight with him anymore, she missed her friend.
"Well, I'm rooting for you to be happy and if she makes you happy, go for it"
"So have you been out with that nurse, Lauren again?" Tobias asks as he goes back to his sandwich and glad that Shauna was now being supportive of what he wanted.
Shauna grins as she leans back into her chair and launches into her latest date with Lauren. She was glad she and Tobias were back on track.
Nita puts her key in the lock and turns nervously. She'd been unfocused all day at work knowing what she needed to do that evening. Tris was back on shift tomorrow and Natalie had left that afternoon. It had been two weeks since the bombing, Tris, and Nita had barely spent any time together and all it had done was make the nagging feeling in her gut grow larger.
"Hey," she tells Tris who was sitting on the couch texting.
Tris looks up biting her lip and she quickly puts her phone down. She and Tobias both had to get new phones and as soon as they were connected again, they started texting since both had no alone time. Tobias had stayed with his parents until he could move around better by himself. She didn't necessarily feel like she was cheating, all her conversations with Tobias had been about basketball, a book they decided to read since they were out of work. Every day though she ached for him more and more.
"I know my mom has stocked the fridge with meals, but I know you must be tired of Dominican food we can order something if you want," she tells Nita, as she can feel the tension radiating off her from across the room.
"Ummm, I was hoping we could talk; I feel like we haven't had any alone time since before the bombing," Nita tells her as she moves to take a seat on the couch.
"Yeah, I've been wanting to talk too"
Nita nods, not knowing where to start.
"Tris, I love you so much, but I just feel like we're off and we have been for a while"
Tris nods, feeling a little bit of the stress on her shoulders leave since Nita mentioned everything she wanted to talk about.
"That's kind of what I wanted to talk to you about too. I know things have been off, I feel it too. Nita, I can't do this anymore," Tris says quietly.
Nita is quiet for a few minutes as she gathers her thoughts listening to what Tris says but she still doesn't speak.
"I'm not the same person I was when we were together before, I want different things…" Tris says trying to find the right words.
"And by different things you mean, Tobias," Nita says as she feels tears well up in her eyes and she leans forward to place her elbows on her knees.
Tris puts her head in her hands and feels the tears coming. She knew this was going to be difficult, but hearing Nita start to cry, it broke her heart.
"Yes, and I pushed him away when you showed up. I pushed him away to try and make this work with you and I can't run from how I feel about him anymore,"
Nita gets up and paces across the living room trying to gather her thoughts as she wipes the tears from her cheeks.
"I finally come out, I stood up to my parents, I'm here with you in Chicago, I finally made the commitment you wanted me to make, and now it's not enough?"
Tris wipes her palms on her knees wanting to be as honest as possible.
"And you still aren't ready to let the world know who you are fully, you can't even bring me to a work function, Nita, I don't want to live my life hiding"
Nita feels her heart fall knowing that Tris was right. Tris had always been so free with who she was, she admired it.
"I just think we're different, we've always been different, and it was fine for a while, but I don't think it's fair to you for me to keep trying to make this work when I know that it's not going to. I love you, Nita, really, I do, I just don't think it's enough."
Nita purses her lips as she blinks away more tears.
"I don't think I will ever not love you Tris" she sighs.
Tris gets up and pulls her into a tight embrace. Nita rests her head on her shoulder.
"You're always going to be my first love" Nita whispers against her shoulder.
"Yeah, nothing changes that and I'm so proud of who you are now. You're amazing, it's just that I feel like our time has passed. "
Nita sniffles as she continues to hold on to Tris. She needed this time with Tris, and she didn't want to lose her, but she wanted her to be happy.
"Hold still Tris" Marlene complains as she uses a flat iron to place curls in Tris' newly straightened hair.
"Sorry, I'm just nervous," Tris says after taking a deep breath through her nose.
"You look amazing, stop stressing" Christina comments as she leans in to put the finishing touches on Tris' makeup.
"You two already said I love you; you broke up with Nita, what do you have to be nervous about?"
Marlene adds in the last curls and fluffs as Christina steps aside so she can apply a little more bronzer to finish out Tris' makeup.
"I know but we thought we were dying, and we haven't been able to be alone since we were trapped in the building collapse after the bombing. I just want to get this right; I've messed up so much with him"
"Breathe, he loves you, just be as honest as possible and everything will be fine," Christina advises as she steps back to admire her work.
"Yeah, show him that he is a priority for you, don't just tell him, actions speak louder than words" Marlene advises.
"And not just with sex" Christina adds pointing her finger at Tris.
"Show him he's a priority" Tris repeats with a grin.
When Christina and Marlene leave, Tris looks in her closet and then gets a wicked idea. Yes, she and Tobias needed to talk, but she had much more than talking on her mind tonight.
Tobias groans when he hears the knock at the door. Zeke had tried to convince him to come out to Dauntless to watch the Sox game, but he wasn't feeling it. He turned the game on the tv, but he wasn't really paying attention to it. Instead, he found himself staring at pictures of him and Tris on his phone, his fingers hovering as they threatened to delete them. He wanted to get her out of his head, but the truth was he missed her. They still hadn't talked since he was in the hospital. She had been cleared to go back to work for next shift, but he still was waiting for his clearance to go back. After almost four weeks he was going a bit stir-crazy.
When the knock sounds again, he shuffles over to the door and his eyes go wide when he finds the object of his thoughts on the other side.
"Hi," Tris says shyly.
"Hi" Tobias stares at her, she looked absolutely gorgeous. Her caramel honey skin popped against the black coat she was wearing; her hair was straight and falling around her shoulders. He looked down at her legs and he had to stop himself from groaning at the sky-high heels she was wearing much like the night they first met.
"Can I come in?" Tris asks, still nervous since he was just staring at her. "I brought you a present"
She pulls the bottle of bourbon from behind her back.
He takes it inspecting it, noticing the red bow around the neck of the bottle as Tris walks past him.
"Thanks"
"How about we open it, so we can try it together"
"Tris I think we need to talk…" he starts. He felt like he had been holding in all his feelings for weeks now and he just wanted to put everything on the table now that they were finally alone. He was going to fight for her, he knew that but figured he had to start with making a case of why she needed to give them a shot and break up with Nita.
"I know we need to talk, one drink, please?" Tobias has to fight back a groan at how she looked at him.
He grabs two glasses from the kitchen and pours them each a drink. He glances at her while he works.
"You look like you are moving around fine" she comments as her eyes rake over his body.
"Yeah, I feel good, I still think it will be another few weeks before the docs clear me to come back to work"
They each take a high ball glass taking a sip neither taking their eyes off the other. The liquor was smooth going down, perfectly aged but Tobias didn't really notice, he was fixated on Tris. She sets her glass down on the counter, takes his glass from his hand, and stands impossibly close to him.
"Tris, what are you doing here?" he whispers looking down at her.
Tobias feels his heart pounding, hoping, and praying that she was about to say what he wanted her to say.
"I broke up with Nita," Tris tells him pointedly as she bites her lip, her heart fluttering a bit.
"Why…" he whispers as he studied her face.
"Because I'm in love with you…" Tris tells him honestly, her voice still a whisper. She wondered if he remembered everything, she said to him while they were trapped as she watched a hopeful look dance across his face.
"I think I convinced myself that was a dream" he admits smiling at her. His memories from the time they were trapped were a bit jumbled. As the days went on since he woke up in the hospital and he and Tris didn't have time to talk, he had resigned that he imagined her professing her love for him.
"I wasn't a dream. I realize I have so much to make up for, …." She finishes as she steps closer to him.
"Tris" Tobias breathes out. They were so close, but not touching each other yet. He was filled with her, the smell of her perfume, the look of love and desire in her eyes.
She presses her lips to his. He knows he shouldn't just fall into her like this, but he needed her, he wanted her.
"I know we have so much to talk about, I have so much to make up for, but I need you Tobias" She whispers, pulling back to look up into his eyes.
She takes a step back undoing the knot on her trench coat and letting it fall to the floor to reveal nothing underneath but a black lace thong and a matching lace bra. She wore thigh-high fishnets with a garter belt and Tobias licked his lips as his eyes continued up her body. Her breasts practically spilled out of the top of the bra and Tobias swallows hard causing his Adam's apple to bob.
"Fuck, Tris," he groans knowing there's a visible bulge now in his lounge pants.
She grins as she practically leaps into his arms.
"I love you," she says again before kissing him passionately. Tobias squeezes her tight returning her kiss.
"I missed you so much" He mumbles against her lips smiling as Tris does.
Tobias walks them to his bedroom smiling like a fool as Tris giggles. Once Tobias sets her down on the bed, he quickly rids himself of his lounge pants and tank top while Tris kicks off her heels and traces the top of her breasts lightly while she watches him.
"I love you too, Tris" He finally says as Tris slides back and Tobias hovers over her, both of them still grinning from ear to ear.
They kiss slowly but passionately. Tris gasps when Tobias pulls back one of the garter straps and lets it snap back stinging her skin in the process. Tobias lets his hands run over her body squeezing gently as she whimpered beneath him. Her hands stop when she reaches his side, where the flame tattoos covered his torso. She could see the area where the rod had impaled him.
"Are you okay to do this, I don't want to hurt you" Tris breathes looking down at his side, focusing for a minute.
She realizes maybe she shouldn't have hopped in his arms since he was still recovering. Her body was buzzing, she felt like she was on fire.
"I'm perfectly fine, I promise, I want you, Tris, right now" Tobias reassures her as he attacks her neck with his lips and then leaves a trail of hot wet kisses before burying his face in her breasts.
Tris gasps, her core aching as Tobias moves his hand to her center and slides her thong to the side to rub her folds. He pulls one breast free from her bra and licks and sucks her chocolate nipple while Tris grinds against his hand.
"Let me take care of you" Tris moans as Tobias slides his finger inside her. She'd had a plan, to let this be about pleasuring him but she couldn't think straight with way Tobias was playing her body like an instrument with his lips and hands.
Tobias shakes his head and moves back to her lips as he dips his tongue in her mouth.
"No, give me what I want" he mumbles against her lips as she spreads her legs wider and grips his shoulders.
Tobias pulls back to stare down at her. Her chest was heaving, and her lips were swollen. The lust-filled look in her eyes spurred him on even more.
"Make me come, Papi, please" She pants. He felt himself growing harder against her leg. Tobias grins. Never had she asked him to make her come before and it showed him she was willing to give herself to him.
He watches her arch her back as she tightens around his fingers when he inserts another. He leans down again to suckle her nipple again. That's what does it for Tris as she cries out his name, shuddering and moaning as Tobias presses against her g-spot. Tobias removes his fingers and pulls down her thong, tossing it to the side of the bed while Tris rids herself of her bra. He chuckles when she impatiently pushes him onto his back so she can straddle him.
"God, I missed you" he breathes when she eases herself down onto him.
"I missed you too Papi" Tris gasps as Tobias cups her breasts and she begins to move working her hips in a figure 8 motion.
Tobias sits up so he can hold her closer to him and cups her face with his hands.
"You and me Tris, that's all I want"
Tris gasps as she continues to slowly ride him and look into his eyes. They always had an intense connection, but it was nothing like this. She felt like she could feel him touch her soul with every movement.
"I want you, Tobias, for as long as we have, I want it all with you,"
Tobias crashes his lips to hers and they continue to move with each other. He flips them over and he holds one of her thighs up on his hip while he pushes deep inside her, as deep as he can go.
"You are mine now, Tris," Tobias says giving her a long deep thrust.
"Yes, all yours" Tris agrees with a high-pitched moan as Tobias gives her another thrust.
Tris feels her toes curl with his thrusts and his possessiveness makes her feel as though he was marking himself inside her. She praised him with every thrust, never wanting him to stop.
"Tell me again" He demands.
"I love you," Tris says with a gasp as she arches her back as he fills her stroke after stroke.
It was like a melody in his ear that he wanted to hear over and over again. He used to think the sound of her crying out his name was his favorite sound but no, it was the words I love you coming from her lips.
"Tobias" She cries out when she shatters against him.
His hands move her wrists above her head and hold them there while he continues to move, losing himself in her a few minutes later, spilling himself inside her. He hovers over her for a moment as he catches his breath. Tris smiles at him, brushing her thumb over his full lip.
"I love you, Tobias Eaton," she tells him again. He grins and leans down to give her a loving kiss.
