Sakura put the tea pot and cups back after washing them, waiting for Madara to finish changing so they could walk through the village. He offered to accompany her back to the Hospital so she could get paperwork together before she went to see Hashirama. Instead of rejecting the offer as she usually did she was going to use the opportunity to see how he was going to react. She prayed things have changed enough as it was so she had very little work when it came to keeping Madara stable.

She heard him came from his room, turning to see him waiting. Sakura smiled slightly before heading to the front door. Luckily his smile reassured her that as long as she was around he would be alright. It was kind of ironic how she ended up falling for another Uchiha, at least this time he took notice of her. While walking she could a few people whispering back and forth. She wasn't sure if it was good or bad, it was hard to tell by the looks they had.

"Where is Miyo?" Madara questioned.

"She is staying in Uzushio. No one wanted to deal with her attitude though, which was not pleasant, so they let her go on a mission just before I left the Village. At least that got her happy," she explained, feeling guilty for leaving with letting her know.

"Surprising. I figured she would have wanted to stay here," he said crossing his arms, looking a bit distraught. In all honest he did miss her perkiness, after a while she grew on a person.

"I asked Honshi-sama to let her follow after me when the mission was over but he refused. Now that she has been acknowledged it seemed they want to enhance her abilities to their fullest," she said with a bit of bitterness.

"That is not necessarily a bad thing," he assured her.

"I know but she was happier here. I never took notice before but thinking about it... she was happy. And I took that away," she sighed with a grunt while running her hand through her bangs.

"What of Uzashi?" Madara asked curiously, trying not to show his dis-concern for the Uzumaki's well being. Sakura wasn't an idiot and could see just how much the two seemed to despise each other.

"He is miserable but in a different way. After I told him off before he left the Village, Uzashi didn't even want to be around me," she shrugged.

"You did what now?" he asked confused, trying to catch up as she picked up speed as they got closer to the Hospital.

"He wanted to be around me, praise me and with all his efforts I had to tell him the truth. I don't..." she slowed down, keeping her eyes ahead of her. "I don't feel the way he does. And when he kept pursuing the matter I basically yelled at him to leave me alone and..." Sakura then knitted her brow, looking up at him. "After I told him he was more of a sibling than a love interest and that I could never feel the same, he changed." She then sighed.

"Finally," Madara whispered while keeping his head away so she would not pick up on what he said.

"He is so cold towards me now. And everyone else."

"Sakura-chan, I hate to tell you this but he was like that even here. Think back on that night you two went to eat. And whenever you were not around he was always so arrogant and cold towards people. This is not new news to anyone who knows him," he told her bluntly. "Now that he can no longer pursue you, he is now showing who he really is."

"He wasn't like that when we met though. Something changed when we were moving to Konoha." Sakura shook her head and focused on what they were doing. "I have more to worry about than what Uzashi is doing."

"As in making sure this place doesn't end up in complete chaos when the twins come back," Madara said with a slight smirk as he held the door open for her.

"They are not coming back... I hope," she mumbled, walking in. She immediately looked up to the crack in the ceiling, turning to Madara. "Do you know what caused that? It has bothered me since I arrived in Konoha."

"I'd.. rather not talk about it," he said with his eyes closed with an irritated expression.

"Is it your fault or Hashirama?" she asked with her hands on her hips.

"...Well," he started, looking up at it. "When he used his wood style to created the foundation for the Hospital, Tobirama and I had a disagreement and long story short, we caused most of the original building to fall."

"I should have known," she thought to herself.

"Sakura-sensei, you've returned," a distressed medic said running from the hall. "Maybe you can help. We have an emergency!"

"Looks like you are already jumping right back into it," Madara commented before she ran off.

"I'll be back."

The poison in the young man was difficult for the medics to get a handle on. Sakura wasn't surprised since it was something that could compare to what she dealt with in the future before. She immediately had them get the supplies needed and was able to get the poison out without much effort. But she had to act fast and get an antidote made. There was Chakra infused in one of the ingredients that caused some to linger and use the blood cells to multiply. Sakura had never seen such a thing before and was almost at a total lost when she realized what was going on.

She had to work for some time before making an antidote. The medics had to retrieve many herbs and other things so she could start making mixtures and finding out what can neutralize the poison completely. For that she had to have as much supply as possible. So she had to show some of the Uzumaki medics what she was doing so the process could continue after she left. Otherwise the young man might not make it.

"Sakura-sensei, we have the supplies!" one of the Senju alerted her.

"Okay. Take over," she told them before following him to the next room.

She immediately began to work, mixing a few base antidotes. Once she did she began adding traces of the poison into small containers and adding some blood to multiple it before adding different antidotes to them to see how it reacts. The process was going to be long so she had the Senju medic start attempting what she had already been doing. After a little bit she realized she was going to need more help.

She grabbed a scrolls and wrote in it before calling for a medic to deliver it. Sakura began mixing seeds together and crushing them before adding it to the mixture she had ready. It had absolutely no effect on the poison. She tapped a finger on the table rapidly, thinking as hard as she could. What if she drained the Chakra out somehow? If it could cause it to spread through the bloodstream then could it also prevent something in the antidote from working? She had to try something but had no idea how to separate the Chakra.

"Sakura-chan, how far have you gotten?" Hashirama asked rushing in, dressed in his Hokage attire. Her only option was to get the best Medic in this era to help. She could only do so much. Tsunade taught her as much as she could but even she would have a problem right now. Hashirama on the other hand may be able to figure something out.

"Not very far. I think the Chakra has to be repelling the antidote. And I already know that there is Chakra infused with the poison to cause it to multiply and continuing to survive through blood cells."

"That is a very critical problem. Have you tried draining the Chakra out?" he asked, examining the supplies and poison.

"I don't know how to do that oh smart one," she retorted.

"Let me try then."

Sakura nodded and let him do what he needed to. Not only was he the God of Shinobi, he also had the memories of the future so he knew all the advanced moves that he never had a chance to use yet in the time period. She quickly ran back into the room to check on the patient. He didn't look to good and his body may not hold out much longer from the pain he was in. She took over for the Uzumaki and could tell they were missing some vital points.

Sakura began the process of taking the poison out once again with the liquid. She made sure to get what they had missed first before it damaged the vital areas further. Once she got it out the Uzumaki took over again, hopefully getting everything this time, so she could get back to work. Hashirama seemed distraught while looking over the poison in the container.

"I can drain out the Chakra but it will take a great deal of time to make sure its out. I must check on something, you continue to see what can be done about eliminating the poison." He rushed out and into the patients room.

"Hai," she replied, looking through everything.

"Sensei, is anything working?" the Senju asked calmly.

"Iie.. Not yet."

"Sakura-chan, this is going to be risky. While trying to drain the Chakra from the poison in his body it caused me to take his as well. The Chakra is infusing with his to keep it going," Hashirama said as he rushed back in.

"Damn it!" she shouted slamming her fists on a table, causing it to collapse.

"What if we reversed it?" the Senju medic suggested.

"Nani?" Hashirama asked.

"I have thought about this since we figure out it was Chakra causing all this. If we can reverse what the Chakra is doing and have it stop the poison instead we might be able to save him."

"Not a bad idea actually?" Hashirama said, a finger to his mouth.

"Do you think it'll work?" Sakura asked.

"I am not sure. This has never happened before. Things change with time," he said with a double meaning for her to catch. "But we have to try something."

"Where do we even start?"

"I can try to reverse it myself but you have to give me time," the medic replied looking at the poison. "I have studied nothing but Chakra and how it works when I battled Ki. I was able to reverse my own Chakra for some time to test it."

"Test what exactly?" she asked with wide eyes.

"Instead of producing Chakra I made it so it would halt and eventually drain. I believe I can reverse the effects. Give me a chance Sensei," he said standing straight.

"Alright. Hashirama and I will go over what we can do to neutralize the poison if you succeeded." He nodded and went over to a table with some stuff to get to work.

"He is capable," Hashirama commented.

"Do you think he can do it?" she asked looking at him.

"He might be able to. He and Ki both died in the battle originally, before you intervened in this timeline. If I recall correctly Ki was able to kill him before he could stop her. But she ended up getting to close to our fight and was caught in the crossfire," Hashirama explained.

"Uchiha Ki." Sakura thought back for a moment to the battle. She was the Uchiha she fought for some time with, the most dangerous medic in this timeline...well until she found out what one of her students could do just moments ago.

Sakura ran back into the room to see how the patient was doing. Why was this happening all of a sudden? If it has never happened before like Hashirama said then did she end up saving someone who should not have been saved? With everyone she helped out, it may be possible. She shook her head while leaving the scene for a minute. This kind of stuff was even unheard of in her timeline. It was too much to take in.

"You alright?" Hashirama asked following her.

"I don't get it," she mumbled.

"Hashirama," Madara called, walking down the hall. Oh no, this was not what she needed right now. She waited to see what happened but to her surprise Madara wasn't or acting out. "Does this have anything to do with the recent attack on that small Village in the South?"

"How did you know of that?" he asked shocked.

"I know you have been trying to set up a mission system and tested a few out already. The escorting mission turn a bad turn didn't it?" he asked crossing his arms with a glare.

"It was a random attack but I never would have known this would happen," Hashirama said, feeling guilty.

"You already started that?" Sakura asked shocked. She was only gone for a week and a half. How much could she possibly miss?

"Hai," Hashirama nodded.

"Unfortunately things did not go well. He returned just hours ago from what I heard with the symptoms evolving rapidly. How they got him from Tanzaku-gai as quickly as they did is astonishing."

"Wait Tanzaku-gai!?" Sakura shouted. "When did they get this mission exactly?"

"Just a few days ago. What's wrong?" Hashirama said worried.

"Why did you send them?" she asked in a panic. This was not good.

"We had an urgent request," he replied.

"Sakura-chan what's going on?" Madara asked with great concern.

"Honshi-sama had the same request at the same time. The mission he gave Uzashi, Miyo and the team was to go to Tanzaku-gai," she replied, tears in her eyes. Were they alright? Or are they suffering the same fate as the Konoha team?

Author's Note: Cliffhanger! Okay yeah this is a little bit late. I had to work eight days straight after Thanksgiving and could not focus. Plus with my birthday coming up I've been going over what my BF and I are gonna do. Then trying to fix up a costume for the convention in May plus figuring out what else we are doing is also causing me to lose focus a little bit. I'm easily distracted. But enough rambling...

I finally finished this chapter and am excited to get to the next few. Miyo's story is coming along great and will be updated as frequently as this or even more to catch up with the storyline. Also note that in Miyo's story I will add some stuff to show what happened in Uzushiogakure. So if you are following that I suggest you keep an eye out for updates. Thanks for all the Favs, Follows and Reviews! Love you guys!

Oh and for those who don't know, Tanzaku-gai is where Jiraiya and Naruto went to find Tsunade so they could ask her about being Hokage.
