Just warning you all, this is just fluff and funnies. It is still pertinent to the story, and actually showcases growth quite well, while also not being canon to the actual show. Because this is a fanfiction and my AU and because I think this would be a wonderful way to do things, and people open up quite well through music. I hope this chapter makes you laugh, and my updates may slow down a fair bit, because holidays and stuff. Love you all, I hope you're all having wonderful days!

Leinei groans softly, covering her eyes as she wakes up to a bright flash. She pushes up on the hard mattress she's laying on, blinking the sleep from her eyes as Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero come into focus. There's a soft grunt of pain from underneath her, her turning her head to see Katsuki rubbing his eyes.

"What the hell-?" he growls, opening his eyes and seeing Leinei sitting on top of him, leaning over him as Mina laughs. That's right…She fell asleep on me and I didn't have the heart to move her. Fuck when did we get into this position? I don't even remember lying like this!

"That was so cute!" Mina gushes, waving her hand up and down as she hops in place. "Bakugo, I didn't know you were so tender holding someone!"

"You had better delete those pictures before I ki-" he stops himself, remembering their conversation last night. "Or I'll kick your asses."

"Hey he isn't as violent as he normally is," Kaminari says, grinning wickedly as he scrolls through the pictures they took. "Maybe Lei should sleep with him more often."

"We didn't sleep together!"

"She was literally sleeping on top of you."

"She slept on top of me, I was just resting my eyes, shut up!"

"You're yelling too loud," Leinei whines, falling back down with her head bouncing off Katsuki's chest. He wheezes, some of the breath being knocked out of him as she snuggles back up to him, tucking her head under her chin. Mina snaps another picture. "Five more minutes."

"Lei-"

"Nah uh, as cute as you two are," Mina says, putting her phone away and walking over to pull Leinei off of Katsuki. He rubs the spot where her head bounced off his chest, sitting up and yawning himself. "We are taking you two out today. Your mom already said yes, so long as we text her every hour. I don't have your sister or your brother's phone number-"

"She's not talking to her sister just yet," he grumbles as Leinei yawns into her hand, shaking her head. "Shit happened yesterday, that's why she's here. You should call your brother."

"M'know," she replies, shrugging sleepily. "I really just wanna go back to sleep."

"No sleep. You can sleep when you're dead."

"You need to take your antibiotics and whatever other meds you have," Katsuki tells her as he pushes himself up on his elbows. Their friends raise eyebrows as he shrugs. "Side effects of her surgery, she can explain it better."

"Spleen makes up a good portion of the immune system, until my other organs can pick up the slack, I need to take antibiotics to help fight off infections," Leinei explains, irritated that she's being forced to stay awake. "Can't we just go out tomorrow, I'm tired-"

"Nope," Kaminari butts in as Katsuki sits up and sets his feet on the floor, yawning into his hand. "You have been trapped by villains-" he starts to put fingers up for each point. "-stuck in surgery and a hospital with your crazy siblings, been stuck at home with your psycho sister, and now you're stuck here with the human equivalent of little dog syndrome."

"Excuse me?" Katsuki growls, standing up and setting a few explosions off in his hand before Leinei grabs his shirt, shaking her head as he looks back at her. Kaminari grins as the ashen blond huffs and pulls himself away. "Yeah fine. I know you guys didn't barge into my house just to take Leinei."

"No we came to kiiiiii-" Sero drags the word out, realizing what he is about to say could possibly be triggering for the both of them, the way their faces turn pale. "We came to grab both of you actually."

"Is it to go to some place I can actually nap?" Leinei remarks, a small amount of irritation and sarcasm seeping into her voice. Katsuki snorts, biting his lip to keep from laughing at their friends' shocked faces. "I guess not. Where are we going?"

"Karaoke!" Mina and Kaminari say at the same time, their fists in the air as Kirishima shakes his head and Sero smiles sheepishly. Leinei's eye twitches, and she sits down on the couch to the left of Katsuki.

"So. Let me just..just clarify this really quick," she mutters, rubbing her temples. "We just were locked in a hideout for villains for what two days?" She looks at her friend for confirmation.

"Three," he corrects her.

"Right, three days," she replies, gesturing to him with her right hand. "I was in the hospital for the same amount of time. Barely home. Had to relocate temporarily because my sister is a raging everything, and that's a whole story by itself by the way, and I'm barely adjusted to actually being here and having the best night of sleep I've had in months, and you guys come in here at like eight in the morning saying 'let's go do karaoke!' like there isn't anything else we could possibly do in the world."

"Yeesh when you put it like that…"

"When you're mad you're actually kinda scary," Kaminari says, hiding behind Kirishima slightly with his head poking out. She groans and rubs her temples again before leaning back on the couch with a sigh, turning her head to look at Katsuki, who blushes as her words echo in his head.

Best night of sleep she's had in months..? Because of me? Or because of the movie? Fuck. Stop. She's making a point. Dumbass love-sick dog.

"Katsu, do you want to go?"

"I don't honestly care. If you will, I will."

"And you guys aren't ever going to let up on this until we do, are you?"

"It's our last chance to do anything outside of the school for a while," Kirishima remarks, shrugging as he grins and tilts his head. "The pamphlet did say we wouldn't be allowed to leave school grounds unless it was for special occasions and even then we have to be accompanied. Would kinda kill the mood with a bunch of teachers hanging around."

"And we can find things to put in our rooms and stuff too," Mina adds, holding a finger up with her tongue sticking out after. "How much stuff do you honestly have in your regular room at home, Lei?"

"Cluttered space makes for a cluttered mind," she says duly, repeating the mantra the Commission President told the younger her when they were cleaning her room. "I have the essentials."

"And what? An Elementia poster and some Hawks merch?"

"Nope. Bare walls."

"Oh we are so stopping by the mall too."

"No you said karaoke only."

"It won't kill us. The mall and the karaoke place are in the same area. Come onnn!" Mina whines. "Please Lei! Pleaseee!"

"Since when do we need my permission to do anything?"

"Well we are the Lei-gang."

"Whoa, when the heck was that decided?"

"It rolls off the tongue better than what other people were calling us," Sero tells her with a shrug. "There were some people wanting to calling us Bakusquad like Bakugo was our leader or something."

"What's wrong with Bakusquad?" Katsuki huffs indignantly, glaring at them before standing up. "You guys are the dumbasses who congregated around me!"

"Yeah, but would we really still be friends with you if Leinei never entered the picture?" Kaminari replies, gesturing to the lavender haired girl. "And no offense, Bakugo, there are more people afraid of Lei than they are of you."

"Oh that's bullshit!"

"You haven't heard what the gen studies kids call Lei after the Sports Festival?" Kirishima asks, surprised. "Or after it got around she stood her ground to not one but two different S ranked villains?"

"I got beat all of those times," Leinei corrects him, shaking her head as she stands up and stretches her arms over her head. "And no actually, I haven't heard. What do they call me?"

"They call you the Lavender Devil," Sero says as Kirishima opens his mouth. "Apparently they concocted this image of you acting just like Bakugo over here."

"I was a nervous wreck the entire time. How the hell would they even get the devil from?"

"Hey it rolls off the tongue," Kaminari pipes up, immediately shutting back down as Katsuki glared at him. "It does…"

"Great something else I have to fix when we get back to school," she groans, shaking her head. "Fine. We can go out today. Give us like an hour to get ready. I have to dig my meds out and crap."

"Take your time~" Mina sings, happy they won this round finally. She discreetly high fives Kaminari behind her back as the two finally awake teens head up to their respective rooms to get ready for the day. "So, remember the plan you guys?" she adds, leaning back to make sure they were out of earshot.

"I don't feel right manufacturing their first date like this," Kirishima says, rubbing his neck as he looks up at the ceiling. "Shouldn't we let it happen naturally?"

"Have you met either of them?" Kaminari groans, slapping the redhead's back as Sero sits on the vacated couch on his phone. "They couldn't ask their own reflections out. Lei is too much of an anxious mess, and Bakugo is too proud to actually admit something like that."

"Exactly!" Mina agrees, clapping her hands together once. "And we aren't leaving them alone. We'll stay with them, just find ways to orchestrate them closer."

"I'm pretty sure they're plenty close," Sero scoffs, not looking up from his phone and smiling at a text he received from his boyfriend. "Lei almost died for him. I'd say they were already pretty damn close if she was willing to actually go through with it. Kendall agrees with you though, so I guess I should too."

"We're just gonna get them to sing their feelings out. Nothing can go wrong with that."

"Um...isn't Leinei really sheltered?" Kirishima points out. "Are you sure that she would even know half of the songs?"

"That's why we go up in pairs! Can't be hard to find them a duet to do together."

"Do you really have contingencies for these two?"

"I have the whole day mapped out in case these two go off the rails. The group matchmaker always knows what she's doing!"

"Yeah, I guess you do," Kirishima chuckles, smiling softly at the grinning pink haired girl.

Leinei rubs her face as she steps out of the shower, still steamy from Katsuki's, followed by hers. She runs her fingers through her hair, wincing at the knots snagging at the bottoms. She sighs and shakes her head, starting to dry off. She looks at the light aqua sundress she had picked up at the mall before the summer camp, still trying to figure out why she packed it. Why she picked it to wear for today.

I'm probably not going to wear it any other time. Might as well wear it now.

Speaking of wearing it, do I wear a bra with this..? Mine would show with the straps…

I could ask Mina…

She groans and picks it up, looking at the pretty lace covering the body of the dress that had caught her eye in the first place. She feels the chest part of the top, relaxing once she feels the padding. I guess I don't have to wear a bra with this…It would kinda kill the look, I guess.

The thought scares her a bit, having not gone anywhere without putting a bra on first. It had been instilled in her head since she hit puberty and went from flat chested to a double D in a year and a half. Reina told her that women that didn't wear bras when they went out are looking for the wrong kind of attention. But I'll be with my friends…I'm not looking for any kind of attention. Fuck it. Fuck what Reina says.

"What's taking Leinei so long?" Kirishima says, having helped himself to some of the leftover pizza still in the fridge as he sits on the floor. Katsuki shrugs, crossing his knees with his cheek on his hand and playing on his phone. He was trying hard not to smile at the pictures they had sent in the group chat of them sleeping on each other. Her head had been on his shoulder, her hand over his heart with his arms wrapped around her torso and his nose against her forehead. She had the softest smile on her face, a look of peace rather than the stress and sad smile he usually sees her with. The best sleep you've had in months huh?

"Girls take a little longer than boys sometimes," Mina says sagely, waiting by the stairs and peeking up every few seconds to be the first to see her. "We always end up waiting on her though, so I might have to go check on her."

"I could? She is in my home," Katsuki says, raising an eyebrow. The others' eyes widen, their minds immediately going to the dirtiest place imaginable. "What are you guys thinking about? Why are you sharing looks like that?"

"Kacchan just wants to see Lei in her-"

"Kaminari, if you finish that sentence I will tape you to the ceiling," Sero says, immediately shutting the electric blond up.

"When did you start calling me by that damn name? Only-"

"Ssshutt up!" Mina hisses, shocking the other boys as steps come down the stairs. Katsuki stiffens seeing the flash of the light aqua skirt, feeling lightheaded as Leinei stops at the bottom of the stairs. She folds her arms under her chest, pushing them up just a bit more as she takes in the stunned looks from everyone. The dress itself was sweet, a simple slightly curved neckline that pushes her chest up just the right amount, a waistline that seemed fitted but really just the barest bit loose, and a loose skirt that sways with her hips, fanning out ever so slightly as she walks over to Mina, her head down.

"It's just me. I didn't have much else in terms of decent clothes to wear out," she mutters, feeling self conscious all of a sudden. To her, it seemed like they had been waiting around for her to come down like some grand gesture(they had but no one was telling her that).

"Isn't that the dress you bought the last time we were at the mall?" Mina asks, pulling at the section of her skirt sitting on her rear a bit and smoothing it out so it sat better. She then fixes one of the straps that had twisted when the lavender haired girl put it on. "I knew this would look so good on you!"

"Hey, Bakubro, you good?" Kirishima asks, concerned by the dumbstruck look on Katsuki's face. "Oh crap your nose-"

"Huh?" Katsuki quickly wipes at his nose, seeing a smear of blood. "Fuck-!"

"Are you okay?" Leinei asks, hurrying over to him. A strangled noise leaves his throat as he gets up, trying hard not to look at her. He stumbles a bit, grabbing the arm of the couch to stabilize himself as she reaches him. "Kat-"

"Fine," he forces out, feeling his head spin as he glances down at her. "Kirishima-kitchen-now-please."

"Oh, right, yeah, coming!" the redhead says, hopping up and following the ashen blond into the other room. The four others watch them go, Kaminari's brow knitting together.

"Did..did Bakugo just say please?"

"He says it all the time. Why do you guys act like he isn't nice?" Leinei asks, confused by Kaminari's statement. Mina grins, giggling to herself as Sero snorts and the blond cackles. "What's funny?"

"You sweet, summer child."

Katsuki presses a wet paper towel to his nostril, closing his eyes as he leans against the counter. Kirishima is grinning a bit, his friend cracking one eye open to glare at him. The smile drops, the redhead clearing his throat he rubs the back of his neck.

"So…I guess guys really can get nosebleeds seeing girls they like-"

"Say another word and I will blow your head off."

"If your explosions can go off quicker than my Hardening, sure."

"Look," he says, watching his friend flinch. He softens his tone a bit. "I..thank you, for what you did in Kamino. I didn't get to thank you before."

"Oh that?" he laughs, shaking his head. "Don't. You're my friend. You and Leinei would do the same for any of us."

"Yeah…but I haven't exactly been the best friend in the world."

"No you've been a bit of a flaming pile of garbage mixed with dog crap." A vein pops out in Katsuki's forehead. "But, you're lightening up. Hearing you say please, that would have been unspoken of months ago. You're changing, just like the rest of us."

"Shut up with that sentimental crap," he growls, looking away as he pulls the paper towel from his nose. "Has it stopped?"

"Hmm…" Kirishima leans closer, narrowing his eyes before nodding and leaning back. "Yep. No more bleeding because you find your girlfriend hot."

"Shut up! She isn't my girlfriend!" he snaps, wadding the towel up and throwing it away in the trash can.

"Whatever you say, Bakubro."

"Shut up. Let's just get this over with."
