Storm stepped out from behind the alley and into the streets. He glanced up and saw a neon red sign that read, 'Welcome to Hell'. This was Hell? It didn't look like it, it looked like a regular city with lots of red and black. It looked a lot nicer than Florida, was Storm even from Florida? He didn't know but he'll remember at some point. As he walked down the streets almost every demon kept staring at him, this was unsettling. Why were they staring at him?
Storm gave an awkward smile, "Hi how ya doing?"
The demons didn't respond, this was weird; what was so special about Storm? He wasn't standing out that much was he? Was it his ice horns?
"Hey, watch where you're going pipsqueak!" A gruff voice shouted.
He looked up and saw a large shark demon glaring daggers at him; Storm wasn't that short he was only 5'11, but his petite thin figure and chronic baby face made him look smaller.
"Sorry dude didn't see you there," Storm said.
This only made the shark demon, or whatever it was madder, he could swear he sees his gills breathing up and down.
He bared his teeth and growled; "Don't think just because you're a newbie you can do whatever you want!"
What the fuck is he talking about; Was this his dream to? Either way Storm wasn't about to be scared by some wannabe 'Jaws' poser with anger issues.
"I said I was sorry okay just chill out man," Storm said.
The shark demon grabbed his denim shirt and slammed him against the wall, he was in for it now; whatever he did or said, it must've been personal.
"Let me give you a real welcome to Hell greeting," The shark demon smirked.
Storm felt that same tingling cold sensation in his hands again, but this time he felt it in his feet as well. He looked down and saw that his blue vans and arms were engulfed in a bright whitish-blue sparkling light, which felt like ice.
"Let me go," Storm growled.
The shark demon laughed, "What'cha gonna do kid glitter me to death!?"
"Let me go!" Storm yelled.
He felt a blizzard explode out of his hands and feet which created a frozen blast that sent the shark demon falling to the ground. Instead of creating snowflakes he created long sharp icicles that formed a large circle on the pavement. The shark demon was frozen in a large block of ice and was stuck with his back down to the sidewalk. If Storm wasn't shocked before he's definitely shocked now, he picked himself up and tried to pull himself together.
The shark demon glared, "Is that the best you got!"
Without a second thought Storm fled, whatever he just did he didn't want to stick around for his punishment.
"Hey, get your frozen ass back here! I ain't done with you yet!" The shark demon yelled.
It was no use trying to fight back, he was stuck to the street swinging his fins around like a defenseless fish struggling to find water.
Storm ran behind a store and hid, he waited a few seconds until he felt it was safe to peak his head around the corner. The shark demon was no where in sight, that was close. He stared at his hands and feet they were no longer engulfed in ice. He had to process what just happened, he shot ice out of his body to defend himself from a shark with anger issues. That couldn't be real; could it?
He was in disbelief, "What the actual fuck, did I really just do that?"
His confused rambling came to a halt when he heard a hollow thud, he glanced over to a group of boxes. A small one was bouncing up and down, something was in there and it wanted out. What burst out was a baby snow leopard, but it was no ordinary snow leopard cub. They had bright blue eyes with pale silver fur and small light blue ice crystals on it's back and tail.
Storm was dumbfounded, first he blasted a fish eyed fool with ice and now a literal baby snow leopard just popped out of a box. Then again in a dream anything can happen, but was he really dreaming?
Storm smiled, "Hey little one, where'd you come from?"
The baby snow leopard rolled onto their paws and approached Storm with sweet innocent eyes. Without warning they climbed up Storms legs and snuggled onto his chest, he was shocked, for one he's holding a snow leopard and two they were quick to immediately liking him. They purred and rubbed their soft head against his neck, he didn't hesitate in wrapping his arms around them. They gave an adorable look that red, 'Hi new daddy I just met you and I love you,'
Storm chuckled, "Well it's very nice to meet you to, you alone and dreaming like me?"
The only response he got was kneading, however this little cutie was kneading for a reason. They were a baby snow leopard after all and when a baby kitten kneads, that means their hungry for milk. The baby snow leopard must've sensed underneath Storm's binder, he had feminine breasts. They leaned down to his left breast and tried to bite it.
Storm gently pushed their snout away, "Woah there, we've just met, if you're looking for milk sorry to disappoint you, but my boys are dry."
They gave an adorable pout; he could feel his male ovaries explode. They were too cute to abandon, who can resist that face? If they were kneading on his chest for milk, they must be still young enough to nurse. They weren't very big, they clearly weren't a new-born if their able to climb up his leg, but they didn't look like they were a year old yet. They looked to be about a few weeks to a month old.
"Bet your hungry huh?" Storm asked.
The snow leopard kitten gave an adorable hungry expression that could shame babies. Storm glanced over and saw a small grocery store.
Storm held them to his chest, "Come on, let's go get you something to eat."
The grocery store wasn't anything to write home about, the shelves looked half full and half empty, and the food was covered in mold or spider webs. None less it was food and all they needed was something to keep them full and satisfied.
Storm grabbed a black shopping basket and searched up and down almost every isle for some decent food until he came across the dairy department. Most of the stuff like, cheese, milk, were in pretty decent condition with some expired products.
"Someone really needs to restock the shelves," Storm said.
When he was about to give up, he spotted a small bottle of milk. It looked fresh and not expired, perfect just what he needs. He grabbed the bottle and decided to get some food for himself, he ended up finding a turkey and swiss sandwich with a bag of sour cream and onion chips and a bottle of water.
"That should do it," He said.
He reached into his pockets hoping to find some kind of wallet or cash but sadly he's broke.
"Fuck, seriously?" He growled.
If he had no money or other ways to pay for his things, he had no choice, but to steal. Should he though; apart of him wanted to drop the food and find another source, but his sweet little snow leopard needed milk and his stomach was eating itself; looks like it's this or starve.
He glanced toward the check-out counter, no one was there. If he sneaks out, it'll be a perfect crime, but was it really a crime? True he was stealing, but in his defense, he's stealing food, it's essential and it's not like he's shoplifting clothes or stealing a car. It's food and more importantly his baby snow leopard needs it more, god knows how long it's been since they've eaten.
"Just walk toward the exit and don't look back," Storm whispered.
Storm walked toward the front with his baby snow leopard close behind, this plan seemed flawless until he heard a voice from behind.
"Hey jackass!" A voice shouted.
Storm cringed, damn, he was so close.
He turned to see a red imp, he had long horns on his head and a long red tail. His outfit was a standard grey polo with brown khaki shorts and black sneakers; how's he going to get out of this one?
"You need to pay for that," The imp said.
He could feel his heart racing, his brain was telling him to run away; but his conscience was telling him to stay and admit he didn't have the money and give back the food.
"I'm sorry, I just left my wallet in my car, I'll go get it," Storm stammered.
He slowly made his way toward the exit and when he reached it, he picked up the baby snow leopard and ran like the wind. The imp cashier was pissed, he dashed out the door and saw that Storm was halfway down the sidewalk, he chased after him.
"Get back here you son of a bitch!" The imp shouted.
Storm was freaking out, he's stealing! He's actually stealing! To be fair he's doing a bad thing for a good cause, but he's still stealing.
"Oh, god, oh god, oh god! I can't believe I'm actually doing this!" He panicked.
Then he felt the same cold tingling feeling from earlier, this time it's his feet not his hands. His feet were engulfed in the same sparkling bluish white glow and pretty soon the sidewalk beneath turned into ice crystals; but that wasn't the weirdest part, he looked down and saw a snowboard made out of ice forming underneath his feet.
He was no longer on the ground he was gliding on a frozen snowboard. He was flabbergasted, can this dream get anymore wild? The imp that was chasing him was shocked, so shocked that he wasn't paying attention and ran into a car. Storm looked back and gave a chuckle, but then realized he was on the street.
He was speechless, "Holy crap, I'm on a hoverboard. How do you drive this thing!?"
His body wobbled and shook nervously, he's out in traffic and his arms were full. He had to control it with his body, his hands and arms were occupied, with two very important things. The food and the baby. His right hand clenched the shopping basket and his left arm hugged his snow leopard baby; he had three major priorities right now, one, don't drop the food, two, don't drop the baby and three, don't crash!
"Okay just relax and don't think to much," Storm said as he glided through the street.
He forced himself to calm down, he can't panic, or else he could get hurt. The cars behind him honked and cursed at him but he drowned them out. He gently glided his body upward and he was gliding on the side of a building. His subconscious was begging him not to look down, but he glanced down and was shocked to find out he was twenty feet off the ground.
"How ya doing cutie pie?" Storm asked.
The baby snow leopard was having the time of their life, they stuck out their tongue like a puppy and had the biggest smile on their face; at least someone's having fun. He wanted to have fun too, but he had to stop thinking.
"Stop thinking your going to get yourself killed!" He said.
He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths; he focused all his energy on his breathing and gained control of his anxiety. His muscles loosened up and his heart relaxed, he opened his eyes once more and saw that he was about to slip off the building!
"Relax, this is just a dream, you can't die in a dream," Storm said.
When he slipped off the edge a snow path formed as a sort of road for his ice board, snow formed and dissolved every time he touched it. Now that he has control and a little help, he can finally enjoy the ride. A large grin formed on Storm's face as he felt the adrenaline pumping through his body. As he made it toward the ground, there was a crowd he had to get through, but how do you do that without bumping into anyone?
"On your right! On your left!" Storm shouted to the crowd.
The demons jumped out of the way and were shocked/annoyed, more annoyed than anything else. Storm passed by this one hobo looking demon who just gave a drunk rant,
"Damn crazy asshole kids with their fancy hoverboards," He sputtered.
Meanwhile Charlie and Vaggie were outside of 666 News Studio getting ready to announce their newest project, Charlie was literally vibrating with excitement.
"I can hardly wait Vaggie!" Charlie squealed.
Vaggie chuckled, "Your so cute."
"I can't help it," Charlie smiled.
"Just remember to stick to the script," Vaggie said.
"I know," Charlie said.
Before anything else could be said, they felt an ice-cold breeze speed past them nearly knocking them down.
"Excuse me coming through!" Storm shouted.
Vaggie jumped back in surprise but Charlie fell, Vaggie rushed to help her girlfriend, whoever rushed past them, she wanted to punch them in the face.
"Watch where your going asshole!" Vaggie shouted helping Charlie up.
Charlie looked down and to her surprise there was snow, it was actual snow, not fake artificial snow. Real snow in Hell wasn't common, someone was new in town and their making a big first impression.
"What's wrong are you hurt?" Vaggie asked.
"There's snow on the ground," Charlie said in disbelief.
"What?" Vaggie asked.
"Look," Charlie said.
They looked and saw a snow/ice trail that led down the sidewalk, whoever this was, they had the ability to make snow.
"Must be a new sinner," Vaggie said.
"Whoever they were, I hope they don't melt," Charlie said.
Meanwhile with Storm he raced through the streets and it's amazing how he didn't knock anyone over, looks like he's got the hang of this.
"Woohoo!" He cheered.
He was finally having fun and he's stopped overthinking, for now that is until his anxiety can give him something else to worry about; like the large building he's about to crash into!
"Fuck!" He panicked.
He shifted his body upward, he felt he was a rollercoaster climbing up the hill, everything happened so fast. He sky-rocketed up into the sky, his hand still clutched onto the shopping basket and the fur-baby wrapped under his other arm not fazed by the fact they were literally touching the sky. Wait, did he see a pentagram? He landed on the roof and shot onto the ground with the snow/ice path behind and beneath him while icy sparks formed.
His fun was about to come to an end, a billboard of the 666 News station is right in front of him and if he doesn't pump the breaks soon, he'll be having rejected pancakes for lunch. The question is, how do you stop this crazy thing? He closed his eyes hoping something would happen, and then something did. A large snow wall blocked him which sent him flying backwards. He slammed against a large soft surface and he hit the ground with a thud. He opened his eyes and saw the snow wall in-front of him, he waved his hand and it disappeared into sparkly air.
"You okay sweetie?" Storm asked the snow leopard cub still under his arm.
They were better then okay, their face red, 'that was fun let's do that again!' Storm chuckled; looks like nothing fazes them, do they?
"Maybe we'll do some more snow boarding later, or whatever that was." Storm said.
He released the kitten from his arm and placed the shopping bag down, he took out the milk and then realized there was nothing to put it in. He glanced around for something like a bowl, then he spotted an ash tray. He dusted out the ash and cigarette butts and poured the milk, luckily it didn't go warm or spoil. It's still cool to the touch.
He unwrapped the plastic from the sandwich and opened the bag of chips, they enjoyed their lunch in an alley. Looks like Storm isn't alone after all, he isn't going to be alone for long though. Once he finds a certain a hotel, he's about to get a shock of his life, or his afterlife.
End of chapter 2; I'm so excited to introduce Storm and I'm so excited to share this, I hope you'll enjoy as well.
