"Class dismissed."

The bell rings, signaling the end of the school day and sending 1A back to their dorms. Katsuki glances down at his phone in his hand, having only received a good morning text from Leinei before he woke up. He had sent a few to her, but nothing that was read. It almost makes him anxious, biting the corner of his lip until Eijirou hooks his arm around his neck.

"You've been extra quiet today," the redhead remarks, grinning wide at his best friend. "What's up with that?"

"Yeah, we thought you'd be loud mouthed and bursting at the seams since Lei is coming home today," Denki points out, skipping just out of arm's reach when the ashen blond glared at him. "I-I'm just saying. You've been a little…mopey."

"A little?" Mina snorts, coming up behind them with her arms folded behind her head. "Try a lot. We still haven't come up with a decent idea for the class' thing for the school festival."

"We're supposed to do that as a class. And, since Jirou doesn't like the whole concert idea everyone threw out last night, the only really viable ideas so far are Sato's and, unfortunately, Kaminari and Mineta's." Hanta looks at the blond, who starts to drool a little bit. "Why are you the way that you are?"

"Hey, hey, I at least have class," Denki corrects his friend, putting a hand up with his palm facing the taller male. "I can respect a gorgeous girl in anything, and keep my lewd thoughts in my head."

"Why is that better?" Eijirou asks.

"I mean, it is for some reason. At least he didn't try to climb the wall between the hot springs at the summer camp," Mina points out. "Bakugo probably would've killed him if he saw Lei naked before he did."

"Oh yeah, speaking of that," Denki says, slipping back closer to Katsuki, who was back to studying his phone and willing a text from Leinei to come through. "Since she slept at your house and all, did you…y'know, see anything?"

"Kami!"

"What?! We're all curious!"

"Even if I did," Katsuki starts, his voice a grumbled growl that causes Denki to stumble back a few steps. "Why the hell would I tell any of you extras what my wi-girlfriend looks like?"

"Hold on," Mina gasps, grabbing the back of his uniform shirt as he locks his phone and pulls away from Eijirou. "Hey, hey! What did you call her! Come back here!"

"Shut up! I called her my girlfriend, like I always do. Why are you freaking out about it?"

"Because you were totally about to say something else," she whines. He picks his pace up, his shirt pulling away from her hand as he rounds one of the corners leading to the doors outside. "Ughh…"

"You'd think he'd be in a better mood with Leinei coming back," Hanta remarks, shrugging as he rubs the back of his head. "He just seems to be more pissy."

"Do you think he had an argument with her? I know he was upset yesterday because Todoroki went to the funeral but he didn't."

"Didn't Lei ask him not to?"

"I mean, but still. Your partner loses someone they love and they don't want you around them for that? She's been pushing him away since she found out," Denki points out. "If it was me, I'd cling to them."

"I'm sure Lei has her reasons," Eijirou replies. "They have their own methods for working things out."

Katsuki nearly breaks the knob off his dorm door, his face burning and trying hard not to cry. Opening the door, he drops his bag by the nightstand and steps inside, stopping when he sees Leinei sitting on his bed with Mr. Spokes against her chest and reading a book. She looks up and smiles at him.

"Hey."

"..."

He says nothing in return, walking over to the bed. It dips down as he climbs onto it and places his head in her lap. She chuckles gently and starts stroking her fingers through his hair. He makes a soft contented noise and closes his eyes, relaxing for the first time in days.

"I missed you too," she murmurs, closing her book and setting it on his nightstand. He grumbles under his breath, scooting closer to her and wrapping his arms around her waist so he can bury his face in her stomach. "How was class?"

"When did you get back?" he replies, pulling his head away to look up at her. "You could've texted me. You made me worried."

"Sorry," she says, still running her fingers through his hair. "We had to find a storage unit for Reina's stuff. We got the rest of it packed up this morning."

"Oh. So when did you get back?"

"An hour or two ago. I didn't feel like crashing the last class of the day, so I figured I'd wait for you in here," she assures with a smile. "Sorry for making you worry, Katsu."

"Did you take your meds?"

"Yep."

"And you ate?"

"Yes."

"No more cuts?"

"Just paper cuts and a few scrapes from the cardboard boxes."

"Making sure," he grunts as he pushes himself up and presses his forehead to hers, closing his eyes. "I missed you."

"I know," she whispers, reaching up to hug him. "I missed you too."

"And no more drinking," he scolds, getting her to laugh sheepishly. "It was like arguing with a toddler last night."

"So arguing with you?"

"Well that's just rude. I think I'm very agreeable. I just can't help people are stupid."

"You're as agreeable as a cactus," she giggles, getting him to chuckle as well. He reaches up and cups her cheek.

"Did…did you mean what you said last night? About wanting to marry me and stuff?"

"..." Her face turns bright pink and she nods slowly, his eyes widening. "Sorry if I just…spat a lot of crap out last night. I was just emotional and other stuff and I guess that doesn't mix well with whatever I was drinking."

"You're fine," he assures, shaking his head. "I just…was making sure. I didn't know if you remembered what you said or not."

"Promise? We can just forget my emotional ass said anything last night."

"If that's what you want. But…" He moves Mr. Spokes out of the way, using the moment Leinei giggles to push her down into the pillow and hover over her. Her entire body flushes with heat as her face turns pink.

"Hey, Baku-Oh, Leinei's back!"

"Lei!"

"Oh thank god no more poker with Todoroki and Iida!"

The breath is crushed from her lungs as Katsuki is pressed into her, Eijirou on top of him and Denki leaning over the redhead from where he was balanced on their legs. There's more creaking and a giggle is heard as Mina plops on top of them, Hanta dropping his body weight on Denki and sitting on the blond's back with his chin in his hand.

"You look so much better too!" Mina gushes, leaning over Eijirou's shoulder. Leinei groans, feeling Katsuki's elbow in her ribs. "I guess you actually got some sleep while you were with your brother!"

"Can't-breathe," she gasps out. "Help-!"

"Okay, you guys can get off," Katsuki growls, trying to push himself up without hurting Leinei. "You're going to break the bed with all of us on it like this!"

"Aw, killjoy," Mina pouts but they all climb off. Katsuki sits up as Leinei inhales deeply, shifting onto her side before pushing herself up. "But seriously, we missed you."

"I missed you guys too," she chuckles, rubbing her side where her boyfriend's elbow dug into her ribs. "Also..I think I misheard you about Shochan and him playing poker?"

"No, no you didn't," Hanta giggles, looking over his shoulder as Denki whistles and spins in Katsuki's desk chair. "He saw us playing one night and wanted to learn."

"And do I need to guess who immediately said yes or…?"

"It was Kaminari," they say in unison, much to the embarrassment of their blond friend.

"He thought it would be easy money," Eijirou says, nudging the boy's head with his fist.

"It's not my fault he's freakishly good!"

"Yes, but it is your fault we have to do his chores for two weeks," Hanta reminds him, leaning back and tilting his head to the side. "You just couldn't leave well enough alone."

"I missed a lot while I was gone, huh?"

"Not much. We decided on doing a concert for the school festival," Mina says excitedly. "Last night. Jirou is writing the song. Your boyfriend is on drums."

"You can play the drums?" she asks, leaning forward and looking at him as he blushes and looks away. "I didn't know that."

"Oh yeah, he did a little riff for us last night," Denki says eagerly, mimicking the movements and grinning. "I got into the band too."

"Me and Sero are on staging and stuff," Eijirou offers.

"And I got you signed up to be on the dance squad with me," Mina says, bouncing up and down as Leinei's eyes go wide. "That..that's not an issue is it? I figured since you were training with Aizawa and stuff, you'd be good. It's nothing too complicated."

"Ah…well, yeah, I guess that's okay." She rubs the back of her neck and looks down at her lap. "I don't want to really hold anyone back. I'm not the most limber."

"Hey, if worse comes to worse, we can always use ya on the staging crew. We're planning on using Aoyama as a massive disco ball and I think out of any of us here, you have the most experience with ropes," Eijirou says with a grin.

"Please tell me you guys weren't thinking about using my capture scarf to string him up?"

"No," Hanta assures before thinking about it. "I mean, if you want to-"

"Our teacher would kill me."

"Fair point."

"But we start practicing soon," Mina says, practically bouncing. "We're just waiting for Jirou to finish writing the song."

"Hey, you can't rush perfection," Denki tells her. "Let her work."

"You're just saying that because you're crushing on her badly. Did you ever send her that recording of you at karaoke?"

"...I don't see what that has to do with anything."

"Mmhm."

"What about Sero, huh? When's the last time he got teased about Kendall?"

"Oh no, this is about you pining after Jirou. Leave my relationship out of this."

"We can go back to teasing Bakugo and Leinei! That's always fun."

"No, no, this is about you," Leinei giggles, leaning against Katsuki as he smirks. "We at least got together."

"You guys turned the nice one against me," Denki whines, placing a hand over his heart. "I thought we were friends!"

"We are friends, that's why we pick on you. Tell me it's not going to take a life or death situation for you two to get together too," Eijirou says, raising an eyebrow. "Because if so, that's a pattern I don't want to repeat."

"Watch, they'll end up getting together after the concert," Leinei says. Mina raises an eyebrow with a cheeky grin.

"That sounds like a bet."

"It does?"

"Oh it definitely does. I think…they won't get together right after but definitely sometime before the school year ends. Or he'll at least admit his feelings."

"I bet it'll be unrequited pining," Eijirou says, raising his hand.

"Oh he's gonna tell her and she's gonna tell him she's with Yaoyorozu," Hanta remarks.

"Why are you guys being so mean," Denki whines.

"Because we love you and want to light enough of a fire under your ass to admit your feelings. Don't be like Katsu and only admit after she almost dies for you."

"Hey."

"I love you~."

"Uh huh."
