A/N Thank you guys for all the support and comments. I really don't know much about writings, but I'll do my best.
Greetings to Aron de Aron for the advices regarding structure. I'm going to upload the chapters from time to time to correct some mistakes.
Also to Salamandra134. I'm sorry, but I have school, homework and all that. If I took the time to make a big chapter you'd have one per 2 months. Besides, this way a get to keep my ideas straight. Thank you anyway.
Now, let's continue.
Tabitha was curious abot what happened.
She was near the southern wall of the academy, with his familiar by his side. Professor Colbert had told her to bring him so they could bury him, and that is what she was going to do.
While waiting, she inspected the man closely: His real arm and his knees were covered by a leather protector, and he didn't have shoes so he used a plank or something to cover his feet. All of this covered and tied with robe. He was a very poor commoner if he lacked the money to buy some shoes.
Tied to a side of his waist was a curved sword. Tabitha had read of that weapon style, it was often used by mercenaries yet she heard of knights far west that used this swords for duels due to its swiftness. This man seemed more like the first.
Behind his back was a bag carrying all kinds of things. She found some candy, bags filled with powder, money (a golden coin she never heard about nor she recognized the symbols), some kind of gourd, and much more things.
The next minutes before Colbert artived were Tabitha searching his belongings to find who he was, until she took out some kind of statue. It was a little statue of a child praying roped by a pink cloth with a sweet smell.
It felt, lonely...
"Ah, miss Tabitha. Here you are!"
She turned aroun calmly. Colbert was walking towards her with an excitement expression.
"I-I'm to tell you, miss Tabitha that you are not the only one to have summon a human beeing."
She stared in surprise.
"Miss Valliere has summoned a commoner the moment you left. Amazing, don't you think?"He then stopped smiling and turned to the man "But nonetheless, we must bury this poor soul."
Tabitha was shocked. One thing is that she summoned a man, but Louise too? It's too much for a coincidence.
She shaked the feeling and went back at her blank expression.Seh waved her staff and a ton of dirt lifted from the ground leaving a big hole. Colbert raised his own and the corpse moved to the bottom of the hole.
Tabitha was about to cover him, but Colbert stopped her.
"Miss, for the burial of a familiar it is required that the mage who summoned it to do the proper ways. Please kneel before him."
She left the dirt to a side and followed the Professor's instructions.
She Kneeled and grabbed his hands.
And repeated what he said:
"I pray to the pentagon to accept this humble servant, for his duty has ended.
Accept this loyal familiar who has fulfilled his objective, but now he must rest.
I, Charlotte Helene Orléans, farewell this servant, this companion, this familiar."
And she kissed his forehead.
She was about tp turn but the statue she had in her robes started glowing. And so did the man. Pink petals appeared out of nowhere and, as shocking as it seemed, the cut he had disappeared!
She couldn't feel the weight of the statue.
Suddenly, while all this was happening, strange runes appeared in the man's forehead.
Colbert was frozen. He tried saying something but the words were stuck in his throat.
When it all stopped the man coughed and stood up. Tabitha glared at the resurrected beeing in front of her with a mixture of fear and surprise.
The man kneeled and with a harsh voice he said:
"Watashi wa doko ni imasu ka?"
